Tine‘s Grillhütte in Goslar

I've actually really enjoyed eating there and getting food there for years. However, I had an experience two days ago that made me think about not stopping by there anymore. I ordered fried curry with fries there. However, the older gentleman who I saw there for the first time was absolutely not happy about the fact that he suddenly had to make fries. He rolled his eyes and then didn't do anything for 10 minutes. Then the gentleman asked me if I wanted mayonnaise on the fries. I said no because ketchup was requested. Then the gentleman started discussing with me why no mayonnaise. I tried to explain that the food was also for a child and that he didn't like mayonnaise. This discussion then lasted about 5 minutes. When the fries were ready, the gentleman apparently put mayonnaise on them anyway out of frustration. Of course I saw that and asked him about it again. Reluctantly he made me fries again and finally with ketchup. However, he then sprinkled so much salt on the fries that they were barely edible. The whole procedure took a total of over half an hour. Mind you, I was the only customer when I arrived. The line behind me had become extremely long but no new orders were being taken at all. I think it's a real shame how the grill hut has developed. But one thing is certain. As soon as the gentleman is back on duty there, I will definitely not be placing any more orders.

Unfortunately, bratwurst is a matter of taste. Buns very dark. The price beats the shooting festival and Christmas market. It doesn't have to happen again...

Actually, we were always very satisfied. An older, very polite lady, sometimes another older lady, always with a smile on her face, they knew immediately what we wanted. Regular guests... Recently we were given the wrong sauce by another colleague... ok, it can happen, it was still tasty, even if it was very spicy. Today we were there again... in front of us an older lady, a pensioner, who anxiously asked carefully if she could get some milk... after a while... she looked in the fridge... we don't have any milk.. . huh?? They sell coffee, they don't even ask for milk and sugar and then this. Since I was invited, we ordered 1 devil's sausage... as always... "What was that again?"... Ok... so we explained to her how it was made, including how it was cut... "Ah yes, now I know." she said... we thought. We got two individual bowls, no spicy warm sauce, as usual from the pot (on a plate), no curry on top, we didn't take a roll, but still had to pay the full price (the roll was simply kept), fries extra. In between I reminded the lady that one sausage was already steaming badly... the other one was also very dark... ok, she thanked me. The normal devil's sauce, which was supposed to be served warm, wasn't available at all, we were given normal ketchup from the fridge instead of a splash of sauce as usual. We had to ask specifically about mayo, and nothing was offered there either. Normally you get 2 sausages on a plate, fries or rolls... we got 2 sausages separately, with normal ketchup instead of not so hot devil's sauce and had to pay twice as much. These sausages were first fried, then "grilled"... they were on the grill, but even then they were way too short. Otherwise you would easily notice crispy peaks. Only when I pointed out to the saleswoman that she had charged twice did she call the boss instead of looking at her card... it was there. She then gave us 2 sausages with ketchup on the side (not with less spicy devil's sauce, as previously ordered), yes, you're right... but we only ordered 1 devil's sausage. After we explained it, she took the sausage back, I explained that we had to get the money back for a portion... that's what we got... But when you're a regular customer and you're always satisfied and then you suddenly get the complete opposite, then you wouldn't want to come at all... especially since the old lady in front of us was very sad because she didn't get any milk for her coffee... you could have ordered that. Without an apology, without even replying to our farewell, we drove home. Unfortunately, the owner didn't provide a telephone number online, otherwise we would have liked to have clarified it personally so that he would like his young employee to be trained again, perhaps even by the older, short-haired lady with glasses or the other lady. Oh, she asked us if she could fry sausage and fries in a deep fryer... we didn't care, but the fat isn't changed every time (it doesn't have to be) but the next customer has the mixed oil... well , hopefully neither vegan nor vegetarian... that's not possible... there are separate containers and you should use them properly without asking. Maybe we'll come back, but only if the older ladies sell. It was absolutely delicious. Otherwise, we won't be able to recommend this kiosk, even if the Thuringian bratwurst tastes very good when grilled properly. Then we prefer to drive to the entrance to Wernigerode, but the journey is worth it, or to the city center of Goslar or Vienenburg. PS: The stars were only given because of the mega nice older ladies and the previous quality, also because of the Thuringian bratwurst, not curry, with Bautzner mustard...as long as it wasn't fried too dark. By the way, this kiosk with beer benches cannot be recommended as a “restaurant”. Google preferences.

The guy who works there is totally rude and you can tell he clearly doesn't enjoy his work. The lady, on the other hand, is really sweet and nice :)

Service is different. We ordered two fried curry sausages for €4.00 each (there were only two half rolls each and not whole rolls as before and there were no napkins). Unfortunately the sausages were cut into large pieces by the staff. And so we had to get plastic cutlery (which of course ended up in the trash) to cut these pieces into bite-sized pieces. We agreed that we wouldn't be coming back any time soon.

Mega disappointed, the currywurst and fries in the same deep fryer is a no go, sorry but we won't be coming back

I tried to order a cheese burger there today, August 18, 2022, at 5:25 p.m. The business hours are stated on the internet and at the booth until 7:00 p.m. Like I said, I tried to order a cheese burger. The following conversation occurred: Me: "Hello" Employee: “Hello” (without looking at me) "I'd like a cheeseburger" "I won't do it anymore..." (in a tone...) I stood there for a moment... "I'M NOT DOING ANYMORE!" "OK why not" Then just a strange face like: What do you want from me... New attempt: “Is there a specific reason for this?” "I'll close right away" ... approx. 5:28 p.m "Ok... then close it" I then went shopping in MediaMarkt for about 25 minutes... When I came out again, it was still open and other customers were still being served... I go there more or less regularly for a burger at lunchtime because they actually taste pretty good, but for the time being this will be the last time I've been there. Anyone who treats customers like that and speaks to them like that will probably soon be closed down because of their wealth. Unfortunately, customer friendliness is not very important there. If I treated my customers like that, I could soon close my business. Apparently there haven't been enough losses during Corona...

Also die Bratwurst selbst ist noch das einzig Positive. Mittlerweile wird für eine Bratwurst 3,80€ verlangt. Macht ruhig so weiter. 😠 Aber dafür ist ja die recht lange Wartezeit und die patzigen Antworten vom Personal gratis. 👍

Mal abgesehen vom Personal, beste Wurst die man zwischen Goslar und Braunschweig kaufen kann.

Sehr nettes Personal und eine tolle Auswahl an Würsten. Die Pommes waren klasse, es gab sogar scharfe Soße! 🥰 Ein Punkt Abzug, weil es leider keinen Kaffe gab. Sonst alles top!
