Gute Atmosphäre und guter Service. Das Tom Yum war hervorragend.

Wenn du auf der Suche nach richtig authentischem thailändischen Essen bist, bist du hier genau richtig. Jedes Gericht ist absolut köstlich und voller traditioneller Aromen. Das Personal ist unglaublich herzlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Außerdem sind die Preise für diese Qualität einfach fantastisch. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein sehr schlechter Service! Nach einem Missverständnis bei der Bestellung erhielt ich statt eines Gerichts mit Garnelen eines mit Fleisch. Als ich das angesprochen habe, wurde mir gesagt, dass das Essen nicht zurückgenommen wird und das Gericht speziell wäre und angeblich nur mit Hackfleisch zubereitet wird Auf mein Anliegen wurde überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Ich werde dieses Restaurant auf keinen Fall besuchen.

Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend! Wer es gerne etwas schärfer mag, kann den Schärfegrad gerne nach Wunsch anpassen lassen. Das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal trägt zum gelungenen Erlebnis bei. Besonders die Fischgerichte haben mir sehr gut geschmeckt – die kräftigen, würzigen Aromen waren ein wahrer Genuss. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen!

Super leckeres Essen. Schmeckt wie in Thailand.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Wir hatten Pad Thai und die Spring Rolls. Die spring Rolls sind definitiv selbst gemacht was soviel besser ist als das was man sonst so kennt. Die Pad Thai Nudeln waren auch sehr sehr lecker. Die Ente war hervorragend, beim Hähnchen hat mir etwas Würze gefehlt. Dafür ziehe ich aber keinen Punkt ab, weil man ja selber etwas nachwürzen kann. Service war auch sehr freundlich und wir mussten auch nicht lange auf unser Essen warten. Ich finde es die Portionen für das Pad Thai hätte mehr sein können - also die Nudelmenge…

Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Sehr hungrige Vielesser sollten vielleicht eine Vorspeise dazu nehmen. Drinnen ist es schön schnuckelig, aber modern.

Zufällig beim KL Besuch hier zum Essen gewesen. Beste Thai Küche! Das Laab Gai ist phantastisch und die Cocktails ebenfalls.

Meine Freundin und ich saßen draußen. Der Service war phänomenal. Das Tagesgericht war ein absoluter Traum. Der Mango-Klebreis war perfekt!

Ich liebe die Atmosphäre und den Service. Das Essen ist immer fantastisch und die Portionen sind riesig. Das Getränk ist perfekt – nicht zu süß und nicht zu sauer, einfach erfrischend.

Sehr kleines Restaurant mit eher kleiner Karte,aber dafür ist alles geschmacklich super und sehr authentisch. Sehr nettes Team und gut besucht.

Eines der besten Restaurants in Kaiserslautern !

Wir hatten 2 mal das rote Panang Curry. Es war wie in Thailand. Sehr authentisch. Definitiv unter den Top 3, die ich bisher in Deutschland gegessen habe. Wir haben uns sogar die Reste der Sauce einpacken lassen. Das Lokal ist klein und gemütlich. Sehr modern und stylisch.

I had duck pad thai. The pad thai was delicious. Unfortunately, the duck was too dry and overcooked. It was probably fried too long or for too long. The skin was almost black and burnt. Very disappointing. The service, however, was good.

One of the best Thai restaurants in ktown! I’d make a reservation to be sure you have a table secured because every time we’ve walked by, they’re ALWAYS busy! A full restaurant tells you just how amazing they are. Food was incredible and service was outstanding!

A very friendly welcome and attentive service. Add to that an extensive menu and delicious food. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the atmosphere is truly lovely. It was our first time here, and we were immediately impressed. We'll definitely be back!

Those who enjoy Thai cuisine will be very well catered for here. While prices are on the higher end, the food is of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Excellent! We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance. I found the atmosphere very appealing. Small, cozy, and spotlessly clean. The food arrived quickly, was beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The friendly and attentive service was the icing on the cake. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered food through Uber Eats. Both meals were almost tasteless, and we couldn't even eat half of them. I didn't feel well afterward. Something definitely went wrong.

I’ve been stationed here for the past 2.5 years and I must say that Tida Thai is the best Thai restaurant that I’ve visited in Germany. The dishes are reasonably-priced, yet far exceed all expectations with their detailed presentation. The menu boasts a plethora of options, from Chef’s Signature dishes to a special drink menu, as well as your common favorites alike. A perfect dinner for me would be Pad See Ew, Thai Milk Tea and their mouth-watering Mango Sticky Rice. Not to mention that their ice cream is home-made perfection. With my many visits, I’ve been fortunate to meet the owner and it’s no surprise that once you walk in, you feel a warmth of welcome and comfort. From the atmosphere and decor to the friendly and attentive staff, Tida Thai is guaranteed to bring you a memorable experience. 5/5 stars and an easy 10/10 points in every category for me. Tida Thai has even inspired me to want to travel to Thailand one day. Tschüss!

Easily one of the best Thai restaurants in Germany!!

I am from Thailand , this is the first time that i visited the Restuarant. Pad Kapao (Chicken) and Pad Thai are delicious and also "Thai Ice Tea" is the original flavor, i think Thai tea are ChaTraMue Brand :) very good. And very friendly service person.

A beautiful family-run restaurant in downtown Kaiserslautern. Super friendly service and a sweet treat from the little daughter as a farewell treat. But most importantly, the food is incredibly delicious and very filling. I definitely recommend it if you're ever in Lautern. The prices are reasonable, too. The restrooms, like the entire restaurant, are very clean.

We were there on a sunny Saturday and sat outside. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I ordered rennet with ground beef. I have to say I was a bit disappointed, as I've had much better rennet at some other restaurants. I didn't like the way it was prepared. Nevertheless, I would visit the restaurant again and try another dish to form a final opinion.

My favorite spot for Thai in the area. Everything is very flavorful and fresh. The Pad Kimao and Pad Zi-Iew are my go-to’s for noodle dishes. I usually do a take out order, as the indoor seating area is small. Make sure to have a reservation if planning to dine in.

Really enjoy the pork neck dish! Also, prices are pricey but food is delicious! Service is always kind.

Tucked away in the Kaiserslautern area, this hidden gem serves up refreshingly authentic Thai cuisine. Made fresh to order and served in just the right portions, every dish is a flavorful delight. Just be sure to specify your preferred spice level—this place doesn’t hold back!

The food was incredibly delicious. However, the yellow curry, which wasn't labeled as spicy, was still very spicy. The portions could have been a bit larger, but they were still good. The prices are a bit higher than at similar restaurants. However, the ambiance is beautiful and you feel very comfortable. The service was friendly. We would recommend it if you're willing to pay a little more.

I love a restaurant that doesn’t skimp you on the shrimp. These were very large and delicious and the decoration in here is very nice and the restroom is very clean. Keep it up!

Today I was here for the first time - and I have to say: the 4.8 stars (as of April 19, 2025) are absolutely deserved! The food was really delicious, and the green ice tea… amazing! I haven't had one this good in years. The ambience is also very great. Small, but totally cozy and with a lot of charm. Really great all around. For me it’s definitely 5 stars – I’ll definitely be back!

Ordered for the first time yesterday and had it delivered to my home. Unfortunately, one dish came with chicken instead of shrimp. After a call, however, the dish was delivered to us again very quickly. So really fantastic service. In addition, everything we ordered was extremely tasty and still very warm when it arrived. Great recommendation and we will definitely order again!

We were served very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really appealing. The wait for the food was reasonable and the food was freshly prepared. The wok dishes we ordered tasted good, but were very mildly seasoned. Unfortunately, there was no option to season the dishes with sauces provided at the table, as is usually the case in other Asian restaurants. Unfortunately, the rice and the ingredients prepared in the wok were served on cold plates or bowls, which meant that the food was only lukewarm after a short time - a real shame! In our opinion, the price-performance ratio in terms of the quantity of wok dishes also needs to be improved.

We enjoyed it very much; finally something other than the same taste. We arrived right at lunchtime and had to wait a little longer than usual. However, the wait was worth it. The prices are a little higher than usual but the food was worth it.

I am happy to rate Tida Thai with 5 stars. A small but fine restaurant with very tasty cuisine, warm service and a nice ambience. It is definitely recommended to make a reservation, this pearl of gastronomy is very busy even during the week and the few tables are quickly taken.

I've eaten here several times, the red Thai ice tea is one of the best iced teas I've ever had. Also love the soups and the pork neck dish (the one in the picture) In general, I've never eaten anything here that wasn't tasty.

I particularly liked the friendly staff and the opportunity to eat delicious vegetarian and vegan food. The toilets were clean (which I think is important) and you can also pay by card. Highly recommended!

Oh my goodness! So delicious! Best Thai food we have had outside of Thailand. My husband ordered pla lui suan (talapia) and I got the pad zi-iew (rice noodles). We ate outside and the bathrooms were clean and nice as well. Can’t wait to go back!

I ate there for the first time on Tuesday because of a friend's great experience. The food was incredibly tasty, the staff was very friendly, humorous and accommodating. A very pleasant atmosphere in which I felt very comfortable and welcome with my companion. I'll be happy to come to Tida Thai more often from now on. Highly recommended🙏🏼

Stopped here because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, incredibly disappointing for us. Both in terms of service and the quality of the food. The duck with red curry was fried to death. That had nothing to do with crispy anymore. The meat was simply fried to death. The pork belly was okay, but I've eaten better at the Asian snack bar for ten euros!! The service was really attentive and very friendly. But if I spill a drink while putting it down and the table is wet, I bring a rag over. Unfortunately, the food was simply placed in the middle of the wetness on the table. That just doesn't work at all. Overall, in our opinion, the price/performance was not justified. Maybe we were just unlucky but there is no reason for us to come here again.
