A very nice beer garden with a magnificent view of the Rhine and the ships. Delicious beer at reasonable prices, at least for this location. Apparently, the owners prevent loud excesses and people who behave badly and annoy others. Very pleasant!

Unfortunately, we were kicked out because we were having too much fun. Very unpleasant.

We were here with some friends. Then the owner came and simply kicked us out. He was very rude, very unfriendly. I can't recommend this place under any circumstances.

It's quite okay to sit there near the Rhine. It's very expensive, and you have to get your own drinks. When paying online, you have to enter the tip (self-service) before you can pay. There's also a "no tip" button. I personally find that unpleasant.

Beautiful spot to enjoy a beer while watching the sunset over the Rim River, surrounded by trees. The atmosphere is super relaxed. There's a great selection of beers and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Truly terrible wine, which unfortunately is only available by the bottle. Zero service, no glasses, but if you pay by card, they ask for a tip. Why? And if you post negative comments on Instagram, you're immediately blocked. The owners should focus on dealing with criticism, and if the service isn't great, at least improve the quality of the wines. The only reason anyone goes there is the lovely location.

We were only there briefly for a drink. They served cold beer at the bar, but there was no table service. But the terrace is really nice, especially in the evening when you can see the Rhine. I would definitely recommend it, and it would also be suitable for a longer visit.

One of the few large beer gardens in Düsseldorf with a direct view of the Rhine and the sunset. Even when it's full, self-service is quick and efficient. Parking is possible directly in front of it on the banks of the Rhine. 2.00 an hour. The music is pleasant and not too loud. All employees are nice and friendly. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the old town. 5 minutes to the Tonhalle and the next sun deck. It is located directly on the Rhine meadows. There is only the outside area. Small shack in the corner ofmpark by the Rhein. I set the sun with a cold beer, with many a nice crowd. You can have a nussmix for 2 euros but when you bring back the small bpwl, you get back your 2 euros, so it is gratis.

Nice beer garden, great location! There are deductions for the relatively high prices and the lack of a toilet. There is only one public toilet about 100 meters away, where super long queues gradually form. The toilet looked like that too.

What's that supposed to mean? Bottle of wine and 2 glasses purchased with a deposit. One glass is refused to be returned. We old people are exposed in front of customers. After the correction, not even an apology. We are not used to such treatment

Great place!! Unfortunately, a big minus point for the food on site. The times I was there there was a food stand with small Spanish dishes (empanadas etc.). Unfortunately it's all fried foods that are extremely fatty. Not sure if there is even just one deep fryer but among other things !!also!! Vegan food is offered... Staff incredibly slow. Only one portion of fries ordered is fried per person, instead of being fried in advance if there is a long queue. Also the employees very slow in their actions. What a shame!!

Nice as always! Especially in this summer weather. However, the ladies in the car weren't the friendliest and got in each other's way... that could have been much more effective. But good. You can't let something like that ruin your beautiful Sunday evening.

No food, obviously. You have to buy your drinks at the counter with a very high price than the other nomal placrs. Nevertheless a really nice place to have couple of drinks with friends.

We actually need a lot more spots like this on the Rhine promenade. Cool atmosphere to end the evening on warm days. Of course the selection is a bit small but it's not a café but rather a small stall where you queue up and get your drinks yourself. Not that many seats but you can also sit on the promenade wall.

Wie immer sehr schön - aktuell mit super Food Station und exquisiten Sandwiches: wahlweise mit Fleisch oder Veggie - beide sehr lecker - nicht billig aber das Geld wert! Und klasse service am Grill! Danke.

Sehr schöner Ort. Die Getränke könnten vielleicht noch ein wenig günstiger sein, aber ansonsten empfehlenswert.

Die Location selbst ist wunderschön und verdient eigentlich 6 Sterne. Unter Platanen sitzt man herrlich und entspannt mit einmaligem Ausblick auf den Rhein und den Sonnenuntergang. Die Musik ist auch sehr schön, könnte nur bisschen lauter sein. Man darf eigene Speisen mitbringen oder bei Lieferando bestellen - toll! Hunde sind gestattet, was mich manchmal aus hygienischen Grünen etwas stört (Hunde sitzen auch auf Podest und Bänken), aber ist noch OK. Die Bänke könnten öfter von Vogelkot befreit werden. Was mir nicht so gefällt, sind die Produkte. Es gibt nur zwei Schorlen (Johannisbeer und Apfel). Warum keine Maracuja oder Rhabarber? Warum keine Coca-Cola Produkte, Fritz oder Orangina? Man hat das Gefühl, hier wollte man extra nieschig, extravagant und hip sein, aber es macht nicht wirklich Spaß. Wenn man wie ich keinen Apfelsaft verträgt, gibt es nur einen Softdrink mit Geschmack: Johannisbeerschorle, die vieeeel zu süß ist. Die Weine sind auch alle sehr speziell. Ich liebe fast alle Sauvignon Blanc in allen Weinbars Düsseldorfs, aber hier hat man es irgendwie geschafft, einen zu finden, der nach Katzenpipi riecht. Der Cuvee Chardonnay / WB ist als trocken deklariert, schmeckt aber min. halbtrocken, wenn nicht lieblich. Die anderen Weine sind entweder süß/halbtrocken oder schmecken nach komischen Bitumen-Aromen. Der Private Label war gut, wurde aber aus dem Programm genommen. Warum nicht einfach mal ein gefälliger, trockener, fruchtiger, schlanker Wein dabei sein kann, verstehe ich nicht. So wie z.B. der Wie im Fluge bei Concept, der schmeckt jedem. Oder der Peth Wetz SB im Fett. Oder Künstler Riesling. Auch ein Katalogwein wie Robert Weil könnte ja mal für Einsteiger dabei sein. Es gibt so viele Weine, die 90% der Leute schmecken. Warum mit Gewalt abseits des Mainstream? Es ist nicht jeder ein Sommelier oder Hipster und das wirkt etwas gewollt. Das gleiche gilt für den zweiten Laden Pelican Fly - hier waren Speisen und Getränke vor der Übernahme gefälliger. Der Service ist nett, die Warteschlangen teils sehr lang. Die EC Geräte fragen direkt nach Trinkgeld, was ich für SB irgendwie komisch finde, selbst wenn man nur ein Glaspfand bezahlen will. Man steht da immer ein bisschen mit einem schlechten Gewissen. Dennoch kann man hier sehr, sehr schöne Abende verleben. Wenn die Getränke-/Weinauswahl in Richtung weniger extravagant/hipster überarbeitet wird, ändere ich gern auf 5 Sterne.
