We are always happy to visit the restaurant with its very friendly staff and the delicious, light Asian food with a very good price/performance ratio

The food was excellent, arrived quickly, the service was friendly and the ambience was pleasant, especially with the lighting.

Sehr gut! The food were great and very tasty. The waitress very sweet and serviceminded, just as you would expect. The atmosphere were okay. They have done a lot to try and make it cozy.

The food looked very good, but unfortunately had little flavor. The service, although fast, was rather abrupt and rude. The ambiance is great.

We've eaten there several times in the evening and were always very satisfied; the quality and value for money were excellent. The restaurant is located outside the shopping center, facing the large square, and despite the rather uninviting surroundings, it's simply but pleasantly decorated. We went there for lunch and were once again impressed by the fresh, high-quality food, the friendly service, and the short wait time. Interestingly, the prices were significantly lower at lunch. Highly recommended!

We arrived around 3:00 PM, we didn't even manage to sit down at a table, she immediately asked us what we wanted, as soon as she brought the drinks, she said she would pay immediately. If it was the end of the shift, she could have said, we would go somewhere else. When we left, they didn't even greet us

I went there twice, both times for lunch, once on a Friday (weekly menu) and once on a Saturday. The food was okay, the ambiance inside was also good, but the service was mixed. Overall, everything was just below average, hence 4 points.

Thi Minh is a Vietnamese restaurant strategically located just across the main entrance of the Messe München trade fair complex—separated only by the subway station. Thanks to this prime spot, the restaurant enjoys a steady flow of visitors during events, which is precisely how I ended up dining there. Interestingly, Vietnamese immigrants form a significant minority in Germany, and they tend to dominate the Asian restaurant scene—often running establishments that serve a mix of Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese cuisines, regardless of the official label. Thi Minh is housed within a shopping mall but benefits from a dedicated entrance directly accessible from the street. The interior is spacious, clean, and tastefully styled. The staff are impressively fast and manage the trade show rush with notable efficiency. One nice touch is the printed menu featuring representative images of the dishes, which helps in navigating the offerings. While Google reviews are somewhat mixed, the current rating of 4.0 feels fair. This is especially notable given that international restaurants in Munich tend to be overrated—something many locals and frequent visitors might recognize. I’ve dined at Thi Minh twice, focusing mainly on seafood. The portions are generous and attractively plated. I was particularly struck by the colossal size of the shrimp in various dishes—likely frozen, as most white shrimp are imported from the Pacific or Indian Ocean—but still flavorful and well-prepared. The dishes incorporate fresh elements like papaya, coconut, bamboo, dong gu mushtooms and herbs, though the overall flavor profile is subtler and lighter than typical Thai, Korean, or Chinese cuisine.

Everything was super fast and the service was friendly. I've had much better food. No flair and nothing special. I'm taking a break here for now.

The restaurant is very nice and tastefully decorated. We went there for lunch and it was great . The waitress was very friendly and the food was perfect. One of the best Spring Rolls- crunchy and delicious.

We ate there on Friday evening and were not disappointed! The food was very tasty! Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of spiciness and since a lot of dishes are spicy, I unfortunately have to deduct a star because there's little choice. The spring rolls with chicken, rice noodles and fish sauce were delicious. The side salad was unfortunately refined with chili (or pepperoni?). We paid around €62 for 2 main courses, 2 juice spritzers and 2 desserts. Expensive but okay for the quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We will come again :)

Probably the best Vietnamese food I've had.

We live in the trade fair city and have eaten there many times. The (vegetarian) food is always delicious. The prices have always been very high and you think about whether you should treat yourself to it. Today we were informed that the prices had been increased and that we would have to pay 20.50 euros (!) for a vegetarian dish with a few vegetables and tofu. This is definitely no longer appropriate and actually quite outrageous. When we said that it was now too expensive and we wouldn't come back, the waitress acted as if she didn't know what we meant. Too bad!

Unfortunately, the store is no longer recommended. The food is quite good but the pricing is completely wrong. 41€ for 2 dishes consisting of vegetables, rice and tofu may not matter for business people who come to the trade fair and eat at company expense, but not for a resident of the trade fair city. Too bad.

This has nothing to do with Vietnamese food, it's just a rip off, there were three of us at the table and after 45 minutes we were asked to leave. After we had our main course... Avoid, you can't support something like that.

We wanted to order food there to pick up this evening. There were communication problems when placing the order. We were told that the menu on the website was not the most up to date. After trying to explain on the phone which dish you would like to order from the menu provided online, the always polite lady simply replied that such a dish was not available in your restaurant. The numbers assigned to the dishes according to the menu didn't help here either. As a recommendation, we would tell the owner of the restaurant that he should please update his menus as much as possible. Unfortunately we then canceled the order.

Super-nice service, delicious food, beautifully designed dining room, but steep prices.

Great place and location. For the two visits so far, it's totally worth it. The lunch menu is cheaper to say and there are great options to choose from too. I feel like you can never go wrong with Vietnamese cuisine.

Had dinner with 15 people and of course had reserved a table. Had to have one!! Waited at the door for an hour because everything was full. The tables are very narrow, there is no room for bags and jackets and it is extremely loud. Despite the restaurant being overcrowded, the food came very quickly and was extremely tasty.

Unappealing and absolutely unsuitable for people who don't eat meat. What a shame, Vietnamese cuisine has so much to offer, unfortunately this restaurant doesn't.

Not recommended. Far too expensive for what is offered. We used to go regularly. Food was very good, prices were reasonable (although not cheap). But now it doesn't fit anymore. The quality of the food has decreased and prices have increased by around 50%. An example: starter plate for 2 was previously €18.90. Now it's 32€... We won't be coming anymore. The name of the restaurant has remained the same (my impression Feb. 2025) now the 3rd change in cuisine and menu, the prices have increased significantly, the offering is small. The food is ok (as far as tested), but the quality doesn't match the price. It's a shame, it used to be a highly recommended restaurant!

The "typical" Vietnamese Pho is horrible. A tasteless water with some flavours and 6 small slices of beef. I payed and just leave to eat in one other next door restaurant. Pois presented as the very great Vietnamese dish. It has to be cooked for 4 or 5 hours ( the menu promisses 5 hours cooking). If they are not honest on this iconic dish... they are not serious at all. My suggestion: find other restaurant.

We went here on 4th Saturday in January. High delighted to see new menu card any recipes for meals an added bonus! We had a delicious evening meal and definetly come here again. 👍

The new prices are too high for that.

We had studied the menu on their homepage in advance and were shocked when we received the menu on site. The food was about 50% more expensive!! When we asked, we were told that they had a new menu as of today (?!) and that it was no longer up to date on the internet. Despite the annoyance, we stayed and ate a small starter and two of the cheapest main courses. The food was ok, not bad, but not particularly good either. The new prices are extremely too high!! The store would go bankrupt without the trade fair visitors, because there will certainly be zero regular customers or recommendations. In any case, we will never go there again.

Kitchen closes much earlier than indicated

The three of us had dinner here in the evening. Had booked a table for 6:30 p.m. Because we were just visiting and wanted to visit a friend from Munich. We thought we could sit here longer. The food was very good. The service, however, was a disaster. Even the greeting was very unfriendly - no hello - you have to wait outside! 1 minute later the waitress came and asked if we had reserved. Then led us to the table which was still dirty from the people in front of us. It took a while until we could place our order. As soon as we were finished eating we were asked if we wanted to eat anything else, otherwise we should pay and clear the table for new people. Unfortunately, really not nice and friendly service. Once and never again.

The decor is spacious and comfortable, and it's often full during dinner time, so it's recommended to arrive early. The food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails are delicious!

Today I had to try the salmon fillet.. I have to admit that the entire meal was just awesome. The salmon was perfectly prepared, the rice was great and the salad with its wonderful, different flavors was absolutely tempting. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The service and the atmosphere are very friendly and pleasant.

Speechless Food is out of this world

Service was very nice and friendly, but the food was just ok. Luckily we weren't served by the Pittbull waitress (a charisma like a pumpkin), she only came to collect otherwise we wouldn't have ordered anything and would have left. I tend to think it's a Chinese restaurant and not a Vietnamese one. The homemade drinks taste like nothing. There are better restaurants in Munich and at a significantly lower price. The portions are not very large and the prices are not justified.

Roast duck was killed twice, meat was partly tough and dry, fried noodles were smothered with curry spice and not fried, just boiled, price performance doesn't really match here

You still have to look for something so child-unfriendly. The operators probably have enough tourists, they don't need loyal customers nearby. The three of us came for lunch with our daughter. Despite many free seats, the girl gave us a table next to the toilet and the door was open, she said because of the stroller. Since it's cold outside today, we wanted to park the stroller and sit further from the door. We were told there was either a table by the door or none. If you have children, avoid the restaurant!

No indication at the beginning that there is no pasta. We were traveling with children who would have liked to eat fried noodles . This was only pointed out after the drinks were ordered. Slow and unfriendly service... Food stalls are advertised to me and many dishes contain flavor enhancers...

Waited forever to hear that the dishes we wanted were sold out. Drinks could then no longer be canceled, even though they still hadn't arrived after 15 minutes of waiting. We didn't order any more food, just drank it and waited forever to pay.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Vietnamese restaurant Thi Min was disappointing. We had pushed tables together independently for a larger group because no suitable table was available. That was probably undesirable. We could clearly feel the waiter's displeasure. The waiter was extremely unfriendly and didn't smile throughout the entire visit. We asked for our meal to be served without cilantro as we are the kind of people who find cilantro to taste like dishwashing liquid. Nevertheless, the food arrived with coriander, which significantly detracted from the enjoyment. We had two small children with us who only wanted to eat side dishes. When we wanted to order these, we were told that side dishes were only possible in combination with main courses. We found this unnecessarily restrictive and were eventually allowed to add the side dishes to our main courses - but only very reluctantly. The side dishes for the children were also full of onions. Some consideration and flexibility when preparing children's meals would have been welcome. At the end of our visit we didn't leave a tip due to the poor service. The waiter asked us three times if the amount was correct, which made us feel like a tip was expected. We found that outrageous. Overall, our experience at Thi Min was unfortunately very unsatisfactory and we cannot recommend this restaurant due to the poor service. Two stars because the food was otherwise OK and the other employees who brought the food were nice.

Very slow service, our dishes all came out 5 minutes apart so they were cold when we finally got to eat. Then we had to ask multiple times to get the bill because no one came. They say yes yes yes but don't act

Scam: we were initially given a much more expensive card. When I asked if there was no lunch menu, we were suddenly brought the lunch menu with 50-70% lower prices. Food was so-so but the worst part was the service and the scam attempt.

I was refused to enter the restaurant between the opening time written in google and the entrance. It is so confused and wasting time for your customers. Please update your opening time!

Worst Asian food I've ever eaten. Duck old, beef tough. The waitress asked if it was tasty, which we said no. This wasn't even followed by an apology. Never again!

Disastrous food, there were four of us and we didn't like it at all. I'm really not a gourmet, but that was a disaster. The meat was old, there was hair in my food and the fried noodles only tasted like Maggi... Drinks are the cheapest of the cheapest, probably just mixing together a syrup.

A restaurant with extremely delicious food, highly recommended! 😊 The vegetarian dishes contain, among other things, a lot of vegetables, which also taste very fresh. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, I always feel comfortable there.

Dishes : soup and rolling spring. Lack of spices. No taste. Too expensive for the food they propose. Waiters sympathic but that's all. No kitchen hood which strives the smells. I ate fast and went out fast.

This is our favorite restaurant. We visit there regularly, usually once or twice a week, and every time we order Thai Red Curry with Hands and Pho Bo. “As always😅”

The food is average, and a male waiter's service is extremely terrible. we brought our own water and he kept shouting that you can't drink anything. We are the visitor to Germany, this kind of service is probably not far from going permanent closure.

We have eaten here several times and we like it here, the menu is always changing, for example there are lots of soups. Sometimes the dishes are really spicy, you should always ask when ordering.

We have enjoyed going to Thi Minh for several years and have always been satisfied. Very tasty food, friendly service, good value for money with the exception of the drinks. However, on our last visit the reservation was limited to one and a half hours. We were then asked to pay and clear the table. We do not want to support such profit-hungry, customer-disdainful business practices and will therefore choose another location for our meetings in the future. We would like to eat without time pressure and then chat in peace over various drinks. After all, we are going to a restaurant and not the canteen.
