By far the best bun rieu cua I have ever eaten. Incredibly aromatic, tasty and plenty of toppings - like the original in Vietnam. A very nice and friendly operator completes the whole thing. We will come again.

We happened to be here during a weekend stay in Munich and were pleasantly surprised. The food was really extremely tasty and the price-performance ratio was great. It's a small shop, not very many seats and no toilet, but that didn't bother us. Overall we really liked it.

First I felt regret that I didn't check my bill carefully, and that's how the things happened. We just ordered two Bun Cua(12.9 for each) and two drinks(one Limonda which should be 3.9 and another mango schole which at most also 3.9), which should be 33.6 in total. But finally we are charged at 38.4 if I remember correctly. I don't know whether the issue is about the menu showing false price and then the restaurant charge unfair or it just simple false calculation, but we are the only one table who paying the bill and I don't know how this happened. I just felt angry and don't know why I met this situation. Hope you won't have the same thing.

The hostess has a very rude attitude towards guests. Sitting in, I accidentally moved the table a bit and was told not to push the table and scratch the table, the table here is very expensive 😌

Service is not good, food is good

We walked by and the food looked good so decided to come back but the moment we stepped back in the restaurant with our two 7y, 4y children we were met by a very unfriendly owner. My wife and daughter are celiac and when we enquired about GF options on the menu the same continued. Made us feel so uncomfortable that ny daughter started crying (no joke). We left immediately. There are two things are good at this place 1. Pho and Crispy duck tastes good. I would say 8/10 2. The prices are inexpensive compared to other places in the area. Now for the not so good things at this place: 1. The service is horrendous. The rudeness is crazy and I am surprised they are still in business. 2. They don’t take credit card.. only cash. If the service was even just ok, I would go back there. It just was disappointing..

Small location but very high quality food, with fairly good service and polite staff. They serve a variety of Vietnamese food, which is prepared on site and all is extremely good. I would recommend the Roast Pork Salad (33) and the Chicken Soup (16).

The owner and the waitress is nice, Bun Cha and Bun Cua is really good, NO TOILET, ONLY CASH but not the big problem with me, we have 2 starters, 3 main dishes and 1 bottle of water, the cost is not too high . A bit smell cause it is open kitchen and quite small so I recommend to take away. But anw it was a good experience. The owner and waitress are quite nice, Bun Cha and crab vermicelli are delicious, no toilet, only accept cash but it's not a problem for the waiter, 2 appetizers, 3 main dishes and drinks cost about 55 VND, quite cheap. It's a bit smelly because the kitchen is open, quite small and it's quite crowded today, so if you're not in a hurry, you can wait or take it to go. Will still come back even though I've been here a few times.

Best Pho in Germany I have ever had, small but fine. In its own league compare with other Vietnam restaurants i visited.

One of best Vietnamese dishes in town we’ve tasted

We had a cockroach in one of 2 meals that we ordered for pickup. Unfortunately, we didn't discover the cattle until very late, so the disgust was even greater. Of course we brought the food back and since we had often already gotten something, we wanted to discreetly bring it to the attention of the owner and of course we wanted the money back. Money came back, but not an apology but an annoyed reaction and the answer that there were no insects in the second meal. We will never eat or pick up anything there again. Watch out!

Food here is certainly authentic, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s great. It’s not bad if you’re having a craving for some northern Vietnamese dishes but the quality isn’t anything to write home about. A big downside is the place isn’t well ventilated so you end up smelling after heading there for a meal

The 01 snail rice noodles I ordered were stale and I vomited all night. It's okay to order beef and pork.

But the service is awful and the old vietnamese grandpa(probably, he is the owner) is kind of racist that he is really nice to the western(white) people but not to the Asians or Asian looking western people. terrible service is default in this restaurant. But it’s ok, I don’t care, I can be also not friendly to him, no problem. But! As you can see on the photo….. plastic things on the food and last time when I had the pho and the moment I want to eat the meat, I saw the hair inside of the meat. I can not find out where is the hair photo, but already happened several times. Hygiene level is worse than in Vietnam. So the taste of food is over all good and above average but the service and hygiene level is way below than any place. The kitchen is real dirty one but still food is really good so if you want to try it please do it but don’t expect something in average and not the all of the food is good, only few dishes are good like Bun cha. P.S If the owner sees this review, I want to say c1hết ti2ệt bạ3n.

The server guy is racist, this is a Vietnamese restaurant, the guy is Vietnamese and he even shows this attitude to the Vietnamese guests. We were standing at the front door waiting to be guided and he ignored us, then there were some white guests came and stood behind us, he came to invite them and continued ignoring us. We realized something is not right, but we still spoke to him asking to be served, then he said "ok stand aside and make way for them (the white guests behind) first". Then we decided to leave and never came back. One star because Google does not allow negative stars (which we would love to give).

It's very narrow, there's no Wi-Fi (data doesn't work), there's no bathroom, you can only pay in cash, and the owner is chic, but all of this is forgivable... Enjoy the bun cha... It's truly the best bun cha in the world... 2 years in Vietnam A truly delicious restaurant that even my friends who have lived there recognized... I haven't met a single person who took me here and said it wasn't delicious... Be famous... But you can't be famous... Be famous... You can't be famous...

A small Vietnamese eatery in the heart of Schwabing. Being a born-and-raised Hanoian, I'd say the food is not heavily adapted to Western taste, still not exceptionally good but filling and you'll get good value for money. The wide range of dishes, especially the noodle soups (bún, phở,...), is impressive. The restaurant is quite small with just a few seats, the atmosphere is homely and the service is ok. Reservation is available.

No washrooms. Do not accept cash. Had to get cash from nearest ATM with 5.5 euros extra charges. Drinks were served with bottles and empty glasses, which were not clean.

Authentic northern Vietnamese food in Munich. The Bun Rieu Cua was delicious until the last bite. Unfortunately, we couldn't try any dessert because they were all sold out. One downside is that the restaurant is quite small and enclosed, so the smell of food tends to cling strongly to your clothes and hair.

The environment is dirty with flies everywhere, the food is greasy and not fresh and most importantly the owner is super impatient. ​He treats asians and white people so differently. He ignored me and pretended not to see me for more than 10mins when I sat and nicely asked for food ordering. It's so ridiculous during ordering as he didn't speak English or German to me at all, even I don't understand what he was saying I can tell from the tone that is sth. very rude. However, when treating white people, his attitude was completely different, with warmhearted greetings and smile on the face all the time, asking feedback of the food frequently, looking like he is merely the servant of them. This makes me feel very uncomfortable. And he doesn't accept card payment, I don't know if this is legally allowed in Munich. ​ ​I really suggest you NEVER try this restaurant！Very very bad one!

I didn't want to say it but because the condition was really unfriendly and impolite I have to say it! I have never seen one like that in all of Germany. Very bad service! I rolled a summer roll, there were a bunch of people inside and then I told the condition and he got upset and didn't even apologize and just took it away and said he didn't need to eat

Went there once with a friend to eat Bun Bo Hue. I liked the food. As a Vietnamese woman who was born and raised in Hanoi, I can also recommend this restaurant to you. At first the staff was a bit unfriendly, but then it was fine 😊

Small neighborhood place with an open kitchen. Quick lunch, rotating dishes on daily basis, it was duck with curry sauce and vegetables in 2 variations, rice and noodles. Nothing extremely special, solid portion, mild curry, definitely the same paste like in the majority of similar format places. What definitely caught attention was: „wonton soup“ with 1 (!) fried wonton and 2 pak choi leaves in broth for 5 euros, I expected a little soup and so it was, but the amount of contents was quite surprising. No restroom, no card payments, very narrow and tucked seating, you practically join the other table convo, if you like it or not. Overall, interested to try Bun Bo Hue, but not sure if I would return overwise.

Asked for 5 mins for us to order food but was requested by the owner to speed up. Wanted to give 1 star but to be honest the food was great. So if you don’t care about service, feel free to visit.

I was there because I miss Hanoi. Anyone who feels that way needs to go there. My wife finally had authentic food again and I had a flashback. For that reason alone I would drive another 700km to Munich. It was super friendly and delicious too. The day before I left €120 in another restaurant and left here satisfied and full with €32. Anyone who leaves 1 star reviews here should question themselves. Just sayin.

Super delicious, I highly recommend the Vietnamese Hue beef noodles and boneless chicken feet. The boss is very nice and friendly, and his dog Molly is super cute! The boss will give you a discount if you show your student card during dinner, and business is booming

Authentisch vietnamesisch, yummy

味道确实很不错的，光吃普通的Pho太无聊了，这里的比较有特色。每次隔壁按了摩就来这里吃一碗。

The soup and noodles were very nice, though the portion might not be big enough so I recommend asking for extra noodles. It'd definitely be a waste of the good soup base if not. 😌 We also ordered the fried shrimp and shrimp dumplings, both are very delicious 😋

I had the best bun cha in this place. It was fresh and not overly spiced. The waiter was friendly. However from my experience and opinion, eating at the restaurant wasn't so comfortable. It had very strong smell and especially once you got out of the place the smell just stick in your clothes until the next day. It could be from the poor ventilation or the place was just small. Hopefully they can work on it. Please note that they only accept cash here and there's no toilet for customers.

The food is incredibly authentic. She's more importantly, delicious! I had the grilled pork with noodles, and it was one of the tastiest things I've had in a long time. Not every restaurant warrants 5 stars for food: I'd give Ha Noi Pho six if I could.

Ein vietnamesischer Freund hat mich dieses Lokal empfohlen. Eine kleine Karte aber sehr authentisch, ich habe so eine Art von Bun Rieu gegessen, war sehr sehr lecker. Bun Bo La Lot als Vorspeise habe ich auch bestellt, war sehr lecker. Ich war so begeistert. Es ist nicht so viel Platz aber man kann dort essen, so ca. 6-7 Tische. Eigentlich ist es mehr wie ein Imbiss als Lokal, eng, keine Toilette und sehr nah an der Küche, dass der Geruch nach dem Essen in Klamotten zu riechen ist. Aber das ist für mich gar nicht schlimm. Service war leider nicht so gut an dem Abend. Er war nicht so freundlich und bisschen motzig, vielleicht war er müde oder hatte einen schlechten Tag 😂 Für mich auch kein Problem, Hauptsache schmeckt das Essen. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Das Restaurant ist übersichtlich und die Tische/Stühle stehen eng aneinander womit man gerne die Nachbartischgespräche mitbekommt. Der Eigentümer war bemüht und hat versucht die Gäste aufzuteilen sofern ein Tisch frei war. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Essen und Getränke ist in Ordnung. Wer schnell und gut essen will ist hier richtig. Der Eigentümer ist sehr gesprächig und redet gerne über andere Gäste. In der Speisekarte ist klar geschrieben das keine Kartenzahlung jeglicher Art akzeptiert wird!

Als jemand, der vietnamesisches Essen und vor allem Bun cha liebt, hatte ich kürzlich das Vergnügen, „Hà Nội Phố“ Restaurant zu besuchen und ihr Bun cha zu probieren. Und ich muss sagen, es war einfach köstlich! Das Restaurant hatte eine gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre, die mich sofort an die Straßen von Hanoi erinnerte, wo ich geboren wurde. Die Einrichtung und das Ambiente waren authentisch und vermittelten das Gefühl, als ob ich in Vietnam wäre. Nun zum eigentlichen Highlight - das Essen! Das Bun cha, das ich bestellte, war perfekt zubereitet. Die gegrillten Schweinefleischbällchen waren saftig und voller Geschmack, begleitet von duftendem Reisnudeln und frischen Kräutern. Die besondere Note kam von der köstlichen Sauce, die das Gericht mit ihrem süß-sauren Aroma komplettierte. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss, und es erinnerte mich an die traditionelle Zubereitung, die ich in Vietnam so sehr vermisst habe. Alles in allem hatte ich eine wundervolle Erfahrung in diesem vietnamesischen Restaurant. Das leckere Bun cha und die angenehme Atmosphäre ließen mich in Erinnerungen schwelgen und mich wie zu Hause fühlen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wieder dorthin zurückzukehren und auch andere Gerichte von ihrer Speisekarte zu probieren. Wenn Sie vietnamesisches Essen lieben oder es ausprobieren möchten, ist dieses Restaurant definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Das Essen ist lecker, aber man wird nicht immer so nett empfangen. Manchmal fühlt man sich sehr unwillkommen, weil der Service so genervt ist. Schade ist auch, dass man nur bar zahlen kann. Aber man weiss ja, warum.

Sehr leckere Vietnamesische Küche! Ruhige Lage abseits der Leopoldstraße. Das Restaurant selber ist klein, aber dennoch sehr angenehm zum Sitzen. Für Studenten gibt der Besitzer immer einen kleinen Rabatt. Ein echter Geheimtipp in Schwabing

Tasty food, chicken was soft and spicy enough and pho bo was fresh and good as well. The waiter refused to speak English, so we needed to talk to him in German as much as we could. However, except initial tension, then we could enjoy our food in peace and generally atmosphere was nice and relaxed. However, I don't recommend this place to someone who doesn't speak German at all.

One of the best value restaurants in Munich. The food is always incredibly tasty with so many fresh and aromatic herbs. It’s become a local favourite for us. Also open for lunch. Papaya salad is very good to start. Also serves non alcoholic beer. Note: cash only, no bathroom. Worth calling in advance to get a table because it’s a small place.
