Ha Noi Pho in München

Bin hier schon paar mal nach der Thai Massage nebenan zum Mittagessen gekommen, war jedes Mal sehr lecker gewesen. Das Essen wird recht schnell zubereitet und serviert. Preis Leistung ist es hier auch echt top. Es kommen oft viele Vietnamesen zum essen, was ich mal als gutes Zeichen werte. Die Kellnerinnen sind sehr nett und höflich, sehr guter Service. Leider kann man hier nur mit Bargeld zahlen.

Der Service ist sehr schlecht, das Personal ist sehr unhöflich. Das Essen schmeckt schlecht, es schmeckt definitiv nach verdorbenen Zutaten.

Ich hatte Bún Chả Hanoi und der Geschmack war wirklich authentisch; er hat mich an meine Zeit in der vietnamesischen Hauptstadt erinnert. Sie akzeptieren nur Bargeld, aber ich hatte keins dabei. Zum Glück haben wir problemlos eine Lösung gefunden. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Hier habe ich mit das beste asiatische Essen gegessen, das ich je in Deutschland hatte. Wir sind spontan hier eingekehrt und waren total begeistert vom Service, dem Essen und dem günstigen Preis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ein wirklich köstliches vietnamesisches Restaurant! Ich war schon viermal dort, zweimal zum Essen im Restaurant und zweimal zum Mitnehmen, und habe jedes Mal andere Gerichte probiert. Jedes Mal einfach fantastisch! Die Atmosphäre ist perfekt, um sich mit Freunden zum Abendessen zu treffen! Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant für vietnamesische Küche!

Das Essen war furchtbar, der Service okay, aber der Besitzer hatte eine seltsame Art, als wollte er die Gäste vergraulen. Ich bin gegangen und werde nie wieder hingehen.

Keine Toilette, keine Möglichkeit sich die Hände zu waschen ... das Hünchen war frisiert als wenn es Stroh wäre. Liegt noch Stunden danach schwer im Magen. Vielleicht waren es aber die ungewaschenen Finger.

Das Essen war köstlich. Die Sommerrollen wurden jedoch nicht mit der traditionellen Soße serviert. Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit zur Kartenzahlung und keine Toilette. Der Service war in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht besonders freundlich. Es war leider zu heiß und stickig im Restaurant. April 2026

Ein echtes Highlight für authentische vietnamesische Küche in München! Das Ha Noi Pho überzeugt mit unglaublich aromatischen Gerichten, die geschmacklich direkt nach Vietnam entführen. Die Pho ist hervorragend – intensiv, frisch und perfekt abgestimmt. Wer auf der Suche nach ehrlicher, hochwertiger vietnamesischer Küche ist, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Hatte einmal (#05) Sommerrollen mit Huhn und die (#40) Ente zum selber rollen mitgenommen. Die Sommerrollen waren solide (Salat, etwas Kräuter und Sprossen, Huhn). Die Ente zum selber rollen war leider so stark frittiert, dass lediglich ein Bündel trockener Fasern über geblieben ist. Als Beilagen zur Ente wurden Pfannkuchen, Salat, Mango und Koriander gereicht. Im Gesamten, die Rollen sind annehmenbar, die Ente ist leider in der Form schwach.

Die vietnamesische Community auf Facebook hat mir dieses Restaurant empfohlen und ich war innerhalb von drei Tagen schon fünfmal dort 😂 Das Essen ist einfach köstlich und authentisch. Der Service ist schnell und die Leute sehr freundlich. Ich werde immer wieder gerne hierherkommen, wenn ich in München bin. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich jedem empfehlen 😍

War heute Mittags da, essen war lecker, Leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich !!!

Die Schüssel mit Bún Riêu war riesig. Der Schweinefleischkuchen roch etwas komisch, deshalb habe ich ihn ausgelassen, aber die Besitzerin gab mir einen zusätzlichen Teller Gemüse, was für mich das Beste war.

Es tut mir leid, dass das Essen nicht besonders gut war, aber der Besitzer war fröhlich und freundlich.

Das Essen ist sehr authentisch und ich als Vietnamesin gehe hier selbst sehr gerne hin, besonders für das Gericht Bun Cha! Klar, verstehe ich es, dass einige den Service nicht perfekt finden, aber es ist letztendlich nur ein kleines Lokal geführt von Menschen, die nicht fließend Deutsch sprechen. Nehmt das nicht persönlich. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen hierher zu kommen und eine Portion Bun Cha zu probieren! So authentisch vietnamesisch und gut wie hier habe ich nirgendwo in München gegessen.

Das Restaurant bietet eine Auswahl an vietnamesischen Gerichten.Bun Cha war mir etwas zu salzig, sowohl die Fischsoße als auch die gegrillten Schweinefleischfrikadellen; die Frikadellen waren zudem nicht besonders aromatisch. Bun Bo Hue mit Chili-Sate-Sauce schmeckte eher nach chinesischen Nudeln als nach authentischen vietnamesischen. Insgesamt war das Essen (für vietnamesische Verhältnisse) in Ordnung.

Knusprige Ente mit Erdnusssoße sehr empfehlenswert

Wir hatten vorher noch nie vietnamesisch gegessen und waren vom Essen begeistert – und das zu einem sehr guten Preis. Sie sprechen zwar nicht fließend Englisch, aber man kann sich verständigen. Einziger Nachteil: Es gibt keine Toiletten (was uns überrascht hat, da diese in einem Restaurant ja eigentlich notwendig sind) und man kann nur bar bezahlen.

Ich habe hier gerade ein äußerst befremdliches Wechselbad der Gefühle durchlebt. Von Freude und dem Genuss wirklich guter Speisen bis hin zu Wut und einem tiefen Gefühl der Herabwürdigung. Während wir aßen, habe ich meinen Fuß auf die Fußstrebe des danebenstehenden Stuhls gelegt – lediglich die Fußspitze auf die untere Querstrebe. Plötzlich tauchte ein Mann auf. In einem höhnischen Tonfall forderte er mich auf, den Fuß herunterzunehmen, andernfalls müsse ich 380 € bezahlen, falls etwas breche. Es ist erschütternd, dass dieser Mann, der sich als 65-Jähriger ausgab und offenbar der Inhaber oder ein Angehöriger der Betreiber ist, ein solches Verhalten an den Tag legt. Ich bin auf Empfehlung eines Bekannten gekommen. Das Essen war gut, das junge Mädchen im Service überaus höflich. Doch dieser Mann hat alles zunichtegemacht. Ich werde niemals zurückkehren – und ich werde dieses Lokal auch niemandem empfehlen. Sind seine 380 € wirklich so viel wert?

Es ist total eng, kein WLAN (nicht mal mobile Daten funktionieren), keine Toilette, nur Bargeld, und der Besitzer ist unfreundlich und distanziert, aber der Geschmack entschädigt für alles... Ihr müsst unbedingt das Bun Cha probieren... Ehrlich, das beste Bun Cha der Welt... Ein wahrer Geheimtipp, den sogar mein Freund, der zwei Jahre in Vietnam gelebt hat, bestätigt hat... Seit ich jemanden mitgenommen habe, hat sich niemand mehr darüber beschwert... Ich hoffe, es wird berühmt... Aber eigentlich sollte es nicht berühmt werden... Berühmt werden... Es sollte nicht berühmt werden...

Das ist zwar keine richtige Rezension, aber es ist vielleicht interessant, dass der Name des Restaurants nicht auf das Nudelgericht Phở Hà Nội anspielt. Er lautet Hà Nội Phố, was so viel wie „Straßen von Hanoi“ bedeutet und sich wahrscheinlich auf das berühmte Gedicht Em Ơi Hà Nội Phố oder das darauf basierende Lied bezieht. Abgesehen davon ist das Essen in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist aber definitiv gut.

Asian guests receive no service

I was in Munich for two weeks last month and ate there four times. It's really delicious; they have a variety of dishes, and all the ones I tried were very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to try Vietnamese food.

Arrived at 14:25 on a Saturday and even though they were going to close at 15:00, they still allowed me and a few other customers who came after me to sit down. The female server was nice and smiling all the time. Another guy who looked like the owner kept checking if I was happy with the food. It’s a small place where you’d just come, finish eating and get going. Food was good and I’d come back for a quick meal.

For someone who only looks for vermicelli soup like me, it's super legit everyone.

We visited the restaurant with the intention to enjoy a drink in a nice atmosphere. However, we were told quite abruptly that it's forbidden to order drinks without food, and were asked to leave. While we understand that every restaurant has its policies, the way it was communicated felt unwelcoming. A bit more hospitality and flexibility would have gone a long way in leaving a better impression.

Pure rip-off. You order a beef pho with extra beef – it costs €7 extra, and the beef portion is just 5 measly strips. That's unacceptable. This is called sheer impudence!

Good sign of an authentic VNese restaurant: most diners are VNese, not so many Germans.

We ate there right after the gym: cute little tables, the food came very quickly, friendly service, well-stocked, and super tasty, and they even gave us more rice. We were really full afterward, and the food was really good! We had a summer roll as an appetizer with a really great dipping sauce, 2 ducks, and 1 beef. The good thing: the beef wasn't hot/spicy, but that's often the case in Germany :D I think they're just "afraid" it'll be too hot for the Germans :) Next time, I'll just say: make it really hot. I'd love to come back.

Two of us came here with a reservation during the week. It's a very small but great restaurant. It was completely packed. The food was delicious. But beware: cash only, and there are no restrooms!

Disrespectful attitude towards Vietnamese and Asians, Africans in general, only giving priority to white guests

Worst service I have ever seen in Munich. We waited here for one hour and got no food, while many people came after us already had theirs. When we asked for the reason, the staff refused to communicate with us. Also, I can feel the different attitude they treat Asia guests and European guests.

Highly not recommended! The service attitude was very bad, the Germans were served first and we were ignored even though we arrived earlier than them. After finally ordering, we waited for nearly half an hour, and the people who came later than us had finished eating and left, but our meals were not yet ready. We decided to leave, and I asked him why he didn't make meals for us, but he didn't apologize, explain the reasons, just kept saying "OK, OK", he wanted to create a false impression that we ordered the meals and didn't want them, but they accepted it. So bad! This was a terrible dining experience, I don't recommend eating in such a strange place, ruin your lunch, they are unprofessional and full of deception. I can't offer any advice on the food, just wasted an hour and a half.

If I can give 0 stars for the service and environment, I will not give 1 star. As long as it is take-out, it must be faster than dining in. I waited there for half an hour and only got a salad. The take-out people can take it away immediately. What's more ridiculous is that the two Germans who came later than me got their food much earlier than me. Many Asians who came at the same time didn't get any food. Racial discrimination, don't write Chinese menus! What's even more ridiculous is that I asked the boss how long I would have to wait since we have been waiting for a long time. He said it would take a long time without changing his face or heart. I had been waiting for half an hour at that time. I said I didn't want any food, but he didn't show any shame or apology at all. You must avoid it and don't come here. No wonder the rating is so low. It's the worst Vietnamese restaurant in Munich, no doubt about it.

We went there one Sunday evening, just the two of us, without a reservation after a visit to the English Garden. It's a small restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and were served. We had Bun Tron Xi Dau with tofu (pictured), Bun Bo Nam Bo, and homemade lemonade. It was very positive that vegetarians had a soy Bun Bo option to choose from. Everything was delicious. Overall, it was also very affordable! Conclusion: I would go back immediately if I'm in the area.

The Bun Cha here and the first menu item, Bun Cua, are so delicious. I especially can't forget the shock I had when I first tried Bun Cua. It was amazing to eat the rich soup base with a feast of intense flavors and various ingredients. However, I did it because they tried to pay the bill right after eating. At that time, there was no one in particular, so I wanted to eat at leisure and hang out until my stomach was full. I was only disappointed in that part. The staff themselves are friendly! If you are Vietnamese, don’t even bother coming here. First, the pho tasted like it came straight from the instant pho package. The lady ( who I assumes own this place) is also extremely rude. Once she finds out you’re Vietnamese, her tone changed and she started talking in a very condescending way. Also, fyi it’s cash only. As someone who was born in Hanoi but lives in the US, I was excited, so this was very disappointing given the food quality is not there, and the attitude is even worse than many places in Vietnam

Vô ăn ngồi 10p gọi xin menu 2 lần phục vụ vẫn không đưa ra There are no cards for you or món. Trong khi đó mình ngồi đợi gần cả 15p. The price is 12.90 minh and 20€. Biết là 10 cent không là to nhưng không hề nói là ừ quán không có 10 cent hay gì và thối lại cho 7€. I went in to eat and sat down for 10 minutes, asked for a menu twice, and the waiter still didn't give it to me. But when another Western customer came in, the waiter immediately ran back to hand over the menu and place the order. In the meantime, I sat and waited for almost 15 minutes. When paying for the 12.90 bowl of noodle soup I gave €20. I knew 10 cents wasn't much, but I didn't say the store didn't have 10 cents or anything and gave me €7 in change.

Firstly, a restaurant without a toilet is unforgivable in this day and age. Secondly, the lady was so unwelcoming when we asked if they accepted card payment, before we even sat down. She pointed at the menu when we were not offered one initially, which said cash only. Thirdly, they did not speak a word of English which I respected but at least be helpful towards tourists by showing a bit of customer service skills. We left shortly after without ordering any food, and by reading some of the 1 star reviews here I am glad we did.

I came at 9pm on Saturday and had to wait 25 minutes for my order even though I was the only customer. As a Hanoian, it almost feels like a normal restaurant in my hometown: delicious food, but the friendliness seems to be a foreign concept - pure homesickness. What really irritated me, however, was the lack of the option to pay by card. Such places are almost extinct in Hanoi these days - an unusual throwback to the past!

By far the best bun rieu cua I have ever eaten. Incredibly aromatic, tasty and plenty of toppings - like the original in Vietnam. A very nice and friendly operator completes the whole thing. We will come again.

We happened to be here during a weekend stay in Munich and were pleasantly surprised. The food was really extremely tasty and the price-performance ratio was great. It's a small shop, not very many seats and no toilet, but that didn't bother us. Overall we really liked it.

First I felt regret that I didn't check my bill carefully, and that's how the things happened. We just ordered two Bun Cua(12.9 for each) and two drinks(one Limonda which should be 3.9 and another mango schole which at most also 3.9), which should be 33.6 in total. But finally we are charged at 38.4 if I remember correctly. I don't know whether the issue is about the menu showing false price and then the restaurant charge unfair or it just simple false calculation, but we are the only one table who paying the bill and I don't know how this happened. I just felt angry and don't know why I met this situation. Hope you won't have the same thing.

The hostess has a very rude attitude towards guests. Sitting in, I accidentally moved the table a bit and was told not to push the table and scratch the table, the table here is very expensive 😌

Service is not good, food is good

There are two things are good at this place 1. Pho and Crispy duck tastes good. I would say 8/10 2. The prices are inexpensive compared to other places in the area. Now for the not so good things at this place: 1. The service is horrendous. The rudeness is crazy and I am surprised they are still in business. 2. They don’t take credit card.. only cash. If the service was even just ok, I would go back there. It just was disappointing..

We walked by and the food looked good so decided to come back but the moment we stepped back in the restaurant with our two 7y, 4y children we were met by a very unfriendly owner. My wife and daughter are celiac and when we enquired about GF options on the menu the same continued. Made us feel so uncomfortable that ny daughter started crying (no joke). We left immediately. By fare the rudest experience in Munich…

Small location but very high quality food, with fairly good service and polite staff. They serve a variety of Vietnamese food, which is prepared on site and all is extremely good. I would recommend the Roast Pork Salad (33) and the Chicken Soup (16).

The owner and the waitress is nice, Bun Cha and Bun Cua is really good, NO TOILET, ONLY CASH but not the big problem with me, we have 2 starters, 3 main dishes and 1 bottle of water, the cost is not too high . A bit smell cause it is open kitchen and quite small so I recommend to take away. But anw it was a good experience. The owner and waitress are quite nice, Bun Cha and crab vermicelli are delicious, no toilet, only accept cash but it's not a problem for the waiter, 2 appetizers, 3 main dishes and drinks cost about 55 VND, quite cheap. It's a bit smelly because the kitchen is open, quite small and it's quite crowded today, so if you're not in a hurry, you can wait or take it to go. Will still come back even though I've been here a few times.

Best Pho in Germany I have ever had, small but fine. In its own league compare with other Vietnam restaurants i visited.

One of best Vietnamese dishes in town we’ve tasted

We had a cockroach in one of 2 meals that we ordered for pickup. Unfortunately, we didn't discover the cattle until very late, so the disgust was even greater. Of course we brought the food back and since we had often already gotten something, we wanted to discreetly bring it to the attention of the owner and of course we wanted the money back. Money came back, but not an apology but an annoyed reaction and the answer that there were no insects in the second meal. We will never eat or pick up anything there again. Watch out!

Food here is certainly authentic, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s great. It’s not bad if you’re having a craving for some northern Vietnamese dishes but the quality isn’t anything to write home about. A big downside is the place isn’t well ventilated so you end up smelling after heading there for a meal

As you can see on the photo….. plastic things on the food and last time when I had the pho and the moment I want to eat the meat, I saw the hair inside of the meat. I can not find out where is the hair photo, but already happened several times. Hygiene level is worse than in Vietnam. So the taste of food is over all good and above average but the service and hygiene level is way below than any place. The kitchen is real dirty one but still food is really good so if you want to try it please do it but don’t expect something in average and not the all of the food is good, only few dishes are good like Bun cha. P.S If the owner sees this review, I want to say c1hết ti2ệt bạ3n.

The server guy is racist, this is a Vietnamese restaurant, the guy is Vietnamese and he even shows this attitude to the Vietnamese guests. We were standing at the front door waiting to be guided and he ignored us, then there were some white guests came and stood behind us, he came to invite them and continued ignoring us. We realized something is not right, but we still spoke to him asking to be served, then he said "ok stand aside and make way for them (the white guests behind) first". Then we decided to leave and never came back. One star because Google does not allow negative stars (which we would love to give).

A small Vietnamese eatery in the heart of Schwabing. Being a born-and-raised Hanoian, I'd say the food is not heavily adapted to Western taste, still not exceptionally good but filling and you'll get good value for money. The wide range of dishes, especially the noodle soups (bún, phở,...), is impressive. The restaurant is quite small with just a few seats, the atmosphere is homely and the service is ok. Reservation is available.
