Good food but always order before

I had gyros with fries, but unfortunately, I was still hungry afterward! That means the portion was too small and the price was too high. Okay, that was a failed attempt, what a pity!

Visited : September 2023 The food was ok, but considering a very high rating in Google, we were disappointed. Salat was swimming with some very acidic dressing. It consisted mainly of a white coubage, with 1-2 slices of tomato and cucamber. Veggies were fresh. Bifteki in metaxa sous: the sous was so intense that a taste of a meat completely disappeared. It was also blend and boring, after a couple of bites. Meteora plate: gyros was juicy but a little bit too salty. Souzouki was ok, but some more herbs would not harm it. Tzatziki: served with a 3 slices of baquet ( pita would be nice). It is also smooth in consistency( blended) , without a structure of cucumbers. Unfortunately, with a strong acid and garlic accent. Rice portions are very small and tasteless. Ouzo was served worm and at the beginning of the meal. There is parking for circa 10-12 cars and a small playground ( a swing) for kids. Interior is nicely decorated. Outside tables are also available. Service was ok, beside smoking exactly at the entrance door ( the only route to the restroom) and paying too much attention to their own phones.

Whenever I'm home, I usually go out to eat with my family. And if I could choose one restaurant, it's always this one. For me, it's the epitome of Greek cuisine, and we always feel welcome and comfortable there. The food is excellent. I could eat the entire menu. The appetizers alone would be enough. My family loves the Galaktoburiko. No matter where we eat Greek food in the north, we never have it as dessert, only here. That's why my husband loves the restaurant for that alone. The service team is always great. The ambiance is perfect, too. Full marks!

The drinks were placed very rudely. The tzatziki was curdled and bland. The portions were very small for the price. And they certainly won't fill you up. And the prices are quite reasonable. The waiter who takes our order and cashes us is completely dispassionate. He also had earplugs in and was listening to music. We won't be going there again.

We arrived without a reservation and were seated outside right away. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Four of us ate there and spent around €30 each, including a drink, starter, main course, and dessert. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. I recommend the chocolate soufflé and the souvlaki skewers. One negative point is that they don't serve kritharaki. For me, they're a staple of Greek food. But that was manageable.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as last time. The portions were much smaller, but much more expensive. The calamari was rubbery, and the gyros weren't good. It was the last time I was there.

Beautiful view, friendly service, good food

The food is really very good, and the service is also good. Why I'm giving it two stars less... Firstly, the portions are very small; even the ladies weren't full, and that's saying something :-). Secondly, the prices have risen disproportionately. About a year ago, the calamari cost €14.60, and now it's €17.80, which is more than 20% more.

The food was delicious—the best souvlaki I've ever eaten. However, we were disappointed with the service. After the drinks and dishes were brought, no one ever came back, and we were left high and dry. On the way to the restroom, I ordered another drink, which was taken with some annoyance. When I came back, my wine was there, but the others had empty glasses and weren't asked for it either 🙈

If you want to pay with a voucher, you can't pay the rest with a card. Therefore, the service only gets 2 stars.

Very tasty food, can only be recommended. When we are traveling in Franconian Switzerland, we usually eat there.

The food was expensive but tasty. Unfortunately, I had an allergy attack afterwards. Can still recommend it. The portions were pleasantly large and the taste was okay. Spent about 45 euros for 2. It was stupid that we had to wait a while for the bill.

The food was good even if a little cold. The Zazicki was a bit bland. It was served very quickly. The ambience was solid but not really inviting. The staff were friendly although a bit intrusive. Definitely recommended for a quick meal

We'll probably never find out if the food is good. Since there was no space inside, we were offered a table on the terrace. Since my head was already buzzing from the sun, I asked to open the parasol. This was refused with an excuse. Then we went to the next restaurant.

Very nice Greek restaurant. Super tasty food. Service is very friendly and food is delivered quickly. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is very popular. A top recommendation is the souvlaki, which is absolutely great.

The best Greek restaurant in Franconia! I can highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is authentic and cozy, just like you would expect from a traditional Greek restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding – a real treat from the starter to the dessert. I would particularly like to highlight the fresh fish and the delicious calamari, which were outstanding in terms of taste and quality. The service was friendly, attentive and very accommodating. An absolute must for anyone who loves Greek cuisine. I will definitely come back!

No long waiting times and large portions. Of all the tasty food, the liver is particularly recommended. Child friendly.

We were there for dinner at 5 p.m., unannounced, got a good seat and the advantage was that the gyro was already crispy and ready. The food was served very quickly. Everything was great!

Whenever I'm in Franconia, Saloniki is a must! Discovered a few years ago and was impressed right from the start. The food is really tasty without being artificially over-seasoned (which is now the problem with many Greek restaurants). Very good quality of the processed products at a reasonable price. The service can be a bit rough at times, but all in all you can get over that. We like to continue to come here and can easily praise it as an insider tip!

Unfortunately, a double table reservation on Saturday evening doesn't allow for a cozy evening with friends. You have to watch the clock to see how much time you have left.

Very good food. The prices have been raised but are still fair and reasonable for the food. I've never had to wait when ordering for pickup, it was always ready to go.

Freundliches Personal - Sehr gutes Essen. Wer Abends dort essen gehen möchte, sollte definitiv reservieren. Leider ist der Gastraum doch sehr beengt und das Nebenzimmer nicht gerade sehr schön eingerichtet. Im Sommer ist es aufgrund der Außenbestuhlung dort immer sehr schön und die nahegelegene Straße nimmt man gar nicht so sehr wahr. Wer in der kalten Jahreszeit dort essen geht, muss damit rechnen, dass er seine Kleidung anschließend waschen muss. Der Geruch des Essens wird auch im Nebenzimmer sehr stark aufgenommen, das ist in anderen Lokalen besser gelöst. Das ist auch der Grund weswegen ich keine 5 Sterne hierfür gegeben habe.

Kann man nur empfehlen, für Freunde der griechischen Küche,ein top Ausflugsziel in der fränkischen Schweiz " Streitberg" Dort wird man verwöhnt, dort gibt man sich noch Mühe. Qualität zum Fähren Preis. Es war ein schöner Abend!!! Danke. Frank Kästner und Freunde 🐺😏

Wir sind hier eher zufällig reingeschneit. Sehr flotter und freundlicher Service und leckeres Essen. Auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt hier noch. Kleiner Tipp, nach Möglichkeit reservieren, sehr gut besucht.

Nettes Restaurant, etwas überlaufen (seit der Nachbar in G'Dorf zuhat), aber gut organisiert. Essen über dem Durchschnitt, aber auch etwas hochpreisig..

Das Essen kam trotz viel Betrieb sehr schnell und wurde frisch zubereitet. Das Fleisch war sehr saftig und alle Gerichte waren wie immer super lecker.

Sehr guter Grieche. Leckeres Essen und guter, freundlicher Service. Ich gehe gerne her. Kombiniert mit echt gutem Bier aus Breitenlesau von der Brauerei Krug Bräu. Im Sommer auch mit großem Außenbereich.

I had the Souvlaki vom Hähnchen (chicken kabob). The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served with a lemon wedge so you have the option of adding more flavor. The servers were nice and accommodating and spoke a little English. The restroom was tidy and clean. Overall, an excellent restaurant to go to after a visit to Bing Cave and Streitberg Castle ruins.

Es hat mal geklappt mit der Reservierung. Und es war wie immer sehr gut. Das Personal wie immer sehr freundlich. Bei schönstem Wetter draußen essen, perfekt. Es wurde immer für Schatten gesorgt. Fazit, wer mal das Essen genießen möchte, vorher anrufen (rechtzeitig) und reservieren.

Sehr guter Grieche, einer der besten in der Umgebung! Einziger Kritikpunkt: beim letzten Mal als ich da war wurde das Zazikirezept geändert, alle mit denen ich da war einschließlich mir fanden den Dill im Zaziki störend, der Zaziki davor war wesentlich besser

Waren zum 1. Mal da. Haben um 11:30 Uhr gerade noch einen Platz bekommen. Essen sehr gut, reichlich und Preis angemessen. Freundliche Bedienung, im Biergarten sehr angenehm zu Sitzen. Außenbereich ist zwar direkt an der Bundesstraße, liegt aber etwas höher und mit einer Hecke abgeschirmt, deshalb relativ ruhig. Werden sicherlich noch öfter besuchen.

Wie immer sehr freundlich. Sehr Lecker Essen.
