Incredibly good food. Far more than just steaks. Here, truly high-quality ingredients are used to create a fantastic taste experience. A few dishes are certainly not far from earning a Michelin star. Recently we had a wonderful dinner here. We started with a delicious beef tataki and beef tartare, both full of flavour and beautifully presented. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the sides were just as good. The cosy, candlelit atmosphere made the evening feel special, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Very good spot. On par with good US steakhouses. We had the ribeye and the hangar steak. Both were great but the hangar was excellent. Highly recommend this spot.

The ribeye steak was simply amazing! The flan is also okay, but drier than the ribeye. So, I recommend the ribeye! If you like to enjoy delicious meat, you should come here! The establishment itself has its own style, a la "simple and tasteful", but you should come here specifically for the meat. The waiter helped with the choice, for which I thank him! We waited a bit long for the steak, 50 minutes. The prices are average for such restaurants: from about 50 e for a normal steak, and it is 100% worth it!

This was back in mid-May. We were the first ones to arrive for dinner and had free choice for seating, so we chose the outside dining which has a different flair compared to inside, but still nice (and quieter)! Although we did take a while to decide what to order, the restaurant was still not yet busy, but it took almost an hour before our food arrived. The presentation of the steak was quite sad and lonely on the huge plate. I ordered medium rare, and some of the steak was mostly cooked medium, some parts even closer to medium well, which was a bit disappointing. But I didn't want to send the steak back because I don't like wasting. But the taste of the meat in general was still really nice! Also, we asked for butter when the steaks arrived. And again, since the restaurant wasn't that busy, we thought it would arrive soon after, but we were more than halfway finished by the time it was delivered, but that was our fault for forgetting to ask for it when ordering. Overall had a great meal with friendly service, but could have been even better. I also really have to praise the playlist of that night which was basically one of my Spotify playlists. ;)

Edit 2025: First of all, the food was excellent. Overall, the whole experience is nothing compared to previous years. We had booked a table several weeks ago, but ended up getting one in the entrance area, with the cold door at our backs, in the aisle, and with guests either coming in through the door, waiting next to our table to be seated, or going out to smoke. The greeting from the manager (?) alone was extremely cold, and we felt unwelcome. Service was extremely cold, aloof, and distant. The food was simply placed on the table without explanation. No one even asked if it was tasty, neither with the starter nor the main course. It seemed like a burden for the waiter to serve us. Old text 2023: We had a very, very good meal. The waiter who was in charge of our table seemed very competent. The seasonal menu is very, very good, and there is a nice, large selection of whiskeys. We would be happy to come back.

An excellent dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding — perfectly cooked steak, fresh ingredients, and great flavors.What truly elevated the evening was Milan’s enthusiasm, attention to every detail, and that confident smirk that somehow assured us we were in good hands. Being seated near the open grill allowed us to see the fresh ingredients and watch the steak being masterfully prepared — like having front-row seats to a culinary performance. Great food, wonderful ambiance, and exceptional service.

Food was delicious! Ribeye steak was very tender and well grilled. Tartar, asparagus, broccoli were all good. Our server, Milan was also very phenomenal. We will definitely go back and tell friends about Theresa! Highly recommended!!

Meat lovers are in the right place here – but vegetarians also have a wonderful and diverse selection. Each dish is a small composition and lives up to its name. Especially the Truffle Fries: let's be honest, Theresa Grill should patent them, because only they make true Truffle Fries with a truffle cream that's out of this world. Apart from that, the ambiance is incredibly aesthetic, you feel at home, and the staff is very attentive and courteous. And what's more, it's just around the corner from numerous museums – perfect for combining culture and enjoyment.

The best place in town for an excellent steak. Service and quality have remained consistently high over the years. Bravo!

One of my favourite places in Munich, even though I am pescatarian and don't eat meat. Their starters and sides are amazing and I like the Dorade as well as the dessert. The staff is great and the food is unreal.

The restaurant is beautifully designed, stylish but relaxed. You can watch the chef at work, which creates a special atmosphere. The meat was perfect, the side dishes were appropriate and well prepared. We particularly recommend the asparagus and the desserts, both really well done. I will definitely recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

***Food is great, but there is still room for improvement in terms of service and ambience*** The food was delicious! We only had starters and the truffle fries - they definitely didn't skimp on the truffle. I just wished that the sauce was served separately so that the fries stayed nice and crispy. The grilled cauliflower was something different and really, really good. What bothered me was the service: there were simply too many waiters in charge at the same time. We were approached several times about the same things - once we had just ordered, then the next person came and asked if we wanted to order. Exactly the same when paying. For the price level, I would have liked a more structured and attentive service. I also asked for fresh chili, but I only got Tabasco - even though there were several dishes with chili on the menu. Unfortunately the atmosphere wasn't great either. Due to the general noise in the store, you had to talk quite loudly to be able to hear each other. Because all the guests were talking loudly, it was tiring overall and not as relaxed as I would have liked.

Food is trully delicious. Excellent side dishes. The service is okayish. A pity that the music is so loud. It doesn‘t give justice to the Chef‘s work.

Happy as a vegetarian in a grill restaurant? Yes that works! Theresa serves absolutely top-notch vegetarian grilled dishes, and the majority of the side dishes are vegetarian, creative and of the highest quality. The drinks, the great ambience and the friendly but not artificial staff also contribute to a great evening. What also surprised me was that even though we were sitting near the grill, neither my clothes nor my hair smelled of it, so I felt completely comfortable!

Only recommended. We had a wonderful culinary evening at Theresa on Saturday. The ambience is cool, the service is totally friendly, calm, casual and the food is divine. The tartare is a delight. Freshly minced and ready to serve in front of the guest. Perfect degree of cooking of the meat, value for money is right. We are already looking forward to the next visit!!

Amazing place! Probably the best meat I’ve eaten. That’s not all, the shrimp carpaccio, grilled cabbage, pumpkin, bread and so much more. Service is incredible, they are always there when you need them without pushing. Totally a great experience.

Very nice restaurant. Unfortunately we had a waitress who had absolutely no interest. It's a shame, he could definitely have sold more drinks and gotten a decent tip, unfortunately not like that. Very competent service and good steaks

Beautiful location, not very busy just after New Year's. We were out for a drink and were invited to the lounge. I chose the non-alcoholic drink to try the 0% gin, but the drink was mostly sweet and not very complex, although nicely decorated and priced close to a regular cocktail. Once we were seated in the lounge, the service was very friendly, with regular check-ins in our rather remote corner.

It was fantastic!!! The food! The wine! The service!!! And the interior 😍Heaven!!!

The ultimate place for good meat and a young, modern atmosphere. We went as a souvenir after 7 years without being in Munich, and it still maintains its essence! The steak tartare is still a must for us, as it's delicious and freshly made right at your table. The other thing is the meats, which are best served by the waiters depending on the number of people and your hunger. And finally, the homemade fries and the ketchup and barbecue sauces. The price is high, but for special occasions, eating a good piece of meat is worth it.

We were here a few years ago and had great memories. Unfortunately, the service this time was not up to the standard of the restaurant. Yes, it was Christmas time and the restaurant was full, but despite having a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes standing in the entrance (9 months pregnant). We finally got our food after 1.5 hours (we had an aperitif in between, but the wait for drinks/orders/food was extreme), and my questions about the food (being pregnant) were met with cynicism. It's also a shame: during our meal, we weren't even asked if everything was OK—that's standard even in non-upscale restaurants. The food was absolutely fine, but that's just part of the experience.

From the reception to the espresso after a fantastic meal - great! The advice was great, attention is paid to the smallest details, and the quality is unique. The service left nothing to be desired, the atmosphere is great, not too loud, no strong smells. We'll definitely be back.

A very cute place, lots of space and retro style, perfect to escape the hustle and bustle and go more local. Solid beers, they have more wine choices. But I was happy with the quality of the food, very well prepared and nicely presented. They have an attentive staff, then, which makes the difference. I also felt prices are fair.

Very good service with fantastic food

A Highly recommend place to visit, I’d come back to Munich just to go back. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere were all great! The beef tartar was lovely, but the bone marrow is a must try! The steak was impeccable, check out the cuts at the display and choose your liking. For sides we had the truffle fried and it’s easy to say that they don’t skimp on the truffle. Finally, don’t miss out on the dessert.

Reservations desired, But even without it, there are still nice places outside. It was a spontaneous meal and we had a lot of fun. We would be happy to come back, thank you for the evening with and with you.

I have been to Theresa Grill several times for dinner as it used to be one of the few good steak houses around Munich and the feelings were always mixed. The food was (and still is) good with a great selection and quality of steaks and wine. Appetizers were (and still are) also very good with high quality ingredients. However, the service sometimes is very poor to the point it reaches the unprofessional level. For a restaurant having these prices there is no reason why someone should feel uncomfortable when been served. Personally I will not be choosing Theresa again and would not recommended it unless you want to risk been served by unfriendly staff.

We went there with high expectations as we were in Munich for a couple of days and booked a table weeks ago. The food was tasty and generous. However we were disappointed by the service. We did not feel welcome at all, and even despised/mocked on some occasions. The waiter who looked after us kept ignoring us and we had to wave intensively to draw his attention. He forgot 2 out of 3 starters and would only topped up 2 glasses of wine out of the 4 on the table (?) While we waited more than 45-50 minutes for the mains, the waiter cleared the table way too soon, some of us were clearly not finished, with their mouths still full! Anyway, thanks to the manager (I think?) who stepped in at some point, he was very nice and professional.

I've tried a lot of steakhouses in Munich and the surrounding area and I always love coming back to Theresas. The price performance and the quality are absolutely top class!! This is an awesome steak place. From the nice ambiance to a very attentive service this offers a lot! It starts almost with a hidden entry , but opens up an industrial chic indoors. The service is very nice with a Bavarian touch and serves you well through the night. All tables offer decent privacy and are nicely integrated into the room. Starters, Wine and everything had been amazing. I'll have to withdraw 1 point my Entrecote Contained some not edible hard pieces. But this was bad luck the medium was perfect, and 4 other steaks were amazing. Great place and will come back.

This is my favorite steakhouse in Munich. I have tried other “alternatives” but no other place came close to Theresa Grill. I would strongly recommend to try their Truffle Fries. It is something out of this world. Me and my girlfriend wanted to keep this place as a “special day” restaurant but we keep finding ourselves going there every month.

Ich war aufgrund einer Firmenfeier dort, abgekoppelt vom regulären Restaurantbetrieb im private dining Bereich, welcher sich im Untergeschoss mit eigener Bowlingbahn befindet. Einrichtung sehr stimmig, Essen phänomenal lecker und optisch sehr ansprechend auf den Teller gebracht, sympathischer Service! Und auch der Wein ist ein Genuss :) Weiterempfehlung!!!

Wir hatten ein Teamevent unten an der Kegelbahn gebucht und hatten einen wunderbaren Abend. Das Essen war hervorragend, genauso spitze, wie die Weine. Das ganze wurde noch getoppt von unserem Service. Dieser war allzeit aufmerksam, schnell, sympathisch und gut gelaunt. Wir kommen sicher wieder! Vielen Dank an das Team!

It took 4 hours for dinner. We had a reservation and arrived just after 630pm. We ordered drinks and appetizers, then entrees at 705pm. They came at 835. No explanation. We got more drinks then desserts and coffee, they all took 20 minutes each. We were finally able to leave at 1030. The good was very good, but not excellent. It was fairly empty when we got there but then was packed by the end.

Great food, very tasty! My personal highlight was that when I said I have to eat gluten free they immediately brought me gluten free bread. They also mentioned they do not toast it, instead they put it on the grill to make sure there is no contamination happening. Highly appreciated!

J'ai récemment dîné au restaurant Thérèsa Grill, et je dois dire que la nourriture était excellente. Le service était également remarquable, et les plats étaient sophistiqués tout en restant à un prix raisonnable. La véritable surprise de ce restaurant était le sous-sol avec sa piste de bowling. Le personnel nous a gentiment invités à jouer quelques parties, ce qui a ajouté une touche amusante à la soirée.

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants in München. Das Essen ist hervorragend, das Ambiente besonders und harmonisch, der Service immer überragend. Selbst in Sterne Restaurants habe ich selten so ein aufmerksames Team erlebt. Fühle mich einfach wohl und komme mit meinem Mann, Freunden, Familie und Team immer wieder gerne her.
