Service ist was anderes. 20:50 Uhr angekommen (Öffnungszeiten bis 0:00) Mitarbeiter draussen ohne Begrüßung "nur drin" ich rein erste Mitarbeiterin gefragt ob die einen Platz für 1 Person haben "das kann ich nicht sagen, fragen sie meine Kollegin" ich gehe zur Kollegin die sagt "nur draußen fragen sie dort" sorry, aber das geht gar nicht!!!

Freundliches Personal. Das Essen war insgesamt zufriedenstellend.

Das Essen, die Getränke und die Servicekräfte waren top. Das Wirtshaus ist in einem riesigen Hotel integriert. Das schmälert etwas das Ambiente. Trotzdem überwiegt das Positive.

Prinzipiell schönes und uriges bayerisches Ambiente mitten in Münchens Arabellapark. Gutes, aufmerksames Personal. Leider schwächen in der Küche und wohl nur für Touristen „ausreichend“. Käsespätzle und Gulaschsuppe waren absolut nicht nach unseren Vorstellungen und sehr fad und lieblos gekocht. Gulaschsuppe zu dünn, Spätzle ohne Käse sondern nur mit Sahne - aber immerhin die Röstzwiebeln waren lecker. Pommes waren top, nicht spektakulär aber grundweg solide. Wir saßen draußen im kleinen Biergarten. Ambiente war ok wenngleich etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Innen ist es schöner. Große Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Biersorten und Getränken. Preise meiner Meinung nach viel zu hoch selbst für Münchner Verhältnisse. Empfehlenswert, zumindest für Gäste der benachbarten Hotels 👍

Schöner biergarten, der zum hotel dazu gehört, typisch bayrisch eben. Das essen war sehr lecker, preise waren auch okay, wir waren zufrieden.

Mein Go-To Ort, wenn ich in München bin, für Bier, Bretzel und weiteres bayrisches Essen. Der Obatzda ist ein Muss für mich. Tolle Atmosphäre jedes Mal, egal ob bei Regen oder Sonnenschein.

Durchaus nettes Wirtshaus mit Biergarten. Qualität der Speisen ist nicht schlecht, aber selbst für Münchner Verhältnisse viel zu teuer. Fast 40 € für ein Wiener Schnitzel ist eine Frechheit. Da gibt's auch in München viel Besseres.

Schön eingerichtete Wirtschaft. Service freundlich und schnell. Die rote Wurst etwas trocken, Verdacht das diese schon länger unter der Lampe war. Pommes perfekt auf dem Punkt. Aber 19 für die Currywurst und 6 für die Halbe sind ein Wort.

Ich übernachte bei jedem Besuch in München im Westin, genau wegen dieses Hotels. Alle Angestellten sind freundlich und das Essen ist hervorragend.

Tolles Essen und super Atmosphäre 👌 Schnitzel und Strudel waren sehr lecker. Aber wir haben eine Stunde auf einen Burger gewartet.

Köstlich! Wenn Sie spät kommen, ist das Haxen leider ausverkauft. Bestellen Sie einfach ein anderes Schweinefleischgericht. Die Schwarte ist knusprig und salzig. Der Bierservice ist erstklassig. Absolut empfehlenswert! Informieren Sie sich unbedingt vor Ihrem Besuch über die Ruhetage.

Ich bestellte Weizenbier mit Wurstsalat. Sehr lecker und erfrischend. Toller Service.

Wahrlich die beste Haxe der Welt, habe sicherlich mindestens 1.000.000 haxen gegessen, vielleicht auch 2mio aber die sind sagenhaft, der Koch ist ein absolutes Genie! Service und alles andere auch 10/10!

Nina und Nihad sind die besten Kellner, die man in München finden kann. Sie heben das Münchener Restaurant-Erlebnis auf ein ganz neues Niveau und sorgen dafür, dass man sich noch wohler fühlt als zu Hause.

Essen und Ambiente typisch Wirtshaus, aber mir und meinen Kollegen wurde vom Wirt der Abend kaputt gemacht und ich wurde vor all meinen Arbeitskollegen bloßgestellt: Ich wollte etwas alkoholfreies bestellen und der Wirt hat gedacht, es sei witzig, mir die Bestellung zu verweigern und mit mir diskutieren zu müssen, dass er für mich nur Bier bestellen würde, um vor meinen Kollegen cool dazustehen. Später, als ich für die Kollegen und mich dann Schnaps bestellen wollte, hat er gesagt, ich soll meine Klappen halten und ob er denn seinen Job machen dürfe. Deshalb haben wir ca 30-40 Kollegen kollektiv beschlossen, nach Feierabend nicht mehr hier hinzugehen.

Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Typisches Wirtshausambiente. Hatten die Schweinshaxe - sehr lecker mit knuspriger Haut. Sehr gut gekühltes Bier!

Das Essen war fantastisch. Der Service exzellent. Das Bier war hervorragend. Ich habe während meines München-Besuchs mehrere Nächte dort verbracht.

Ich bin zufällig dort vorbeigekommen, weil es in der Nähe meiner Unterkunft lag, und das Haksen war köstlich! Die Atmosphäre war toll und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Es war ein sehr angenehmes Essen!

Betreten Sie die Lobby des Westin Hotels und fahren Sie ins Untergeschoss. Gulasch, Currywurst und Bier sind köstlich, und das Personal ist freundlich. 👏👏

Sehr lecker, aber sportliche Preise! Man sollte nur nicht bei Übertragungen von Spielen des FC Bayern in der Nähe der dafür ausgefahren Leinwand sitzen, wenn man sich unterhalten möchte und kein Fußballfan ist - der Tisch wurde unserer 10 köpfigen Gruppe leider zugewiesen.

Gemütliches Restaurant mit tollem Service. Es war nur etwas unglücklich ausgeschildert wie man hinkommt. Eingang durch ein Hotel, West Grand.

Das Wirtshaus liegt im Untergeschoss des Westin Hotels. Die Speisekarte bietet viele Schmankerl aus der Münchner Küche. Das Essen war gut, das Bier ist recht günstig, Wein hingegen teuer und auch die Essenspreise sind recht hoch. Der Service war freundlich, aber nicht immer aufmerksam.

Bayerisches Restaurant im Hotel. Die Küche ist traditionell bayerisch mit hervorragenden Fleischgerichten (Würstchen, Schweinshaxe und Schnitzel). Das Paulaner Bier ist köstlich. Etwas teuer, aber einen Besuch wert.

Paulaner’s Wirtshaus & Biergarten is a classic spot for those who appreciate traditional German beer and typical food. Paulaner beers are perfectly poured, fresh, and full of flavor. The menu is extensive, with simple and well-prepared dishes in the Bavarian style. The relaxed atmosphere of the beer garden completes the experience.

Because of the time of year, we had a table inside. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and even though the restaurant was busy, it was easy to have a conversation. The staff were very friendly, politely checking on us without being pushy, as is unfortunately sometimes the case elsewhere these days. The food was very good, and the prices were typical for Munich.

Good but expensive for a schnitzel

I was looking for a restaurant near my accommodations where I could eat haksen, and I stumbled upon this one. I was very satisfied with the food, service, and beer. Eight haksen sausages and four 300ml beers came out to less than 70 euros. I'd love to visit again.

Excellent Bayerisch food. My wife loved the Goulash and I can only rate the Nuremberg sausage as probably just unbelievable! The waiter Kaidak is probably the best human being in Munich! Friendly and super kind! If you are not here then you obviously are missing out!

While visiting Munich, my husband and I stopped for dinner at this truly charming, well-kept restaurant with friendly, smiling staff. The service was excellent and fast, even though it was already quite busy when we arrived. We had the braised venison dish (very good!) and the veal cutlets with potato salad (excellent!) The Paulaner Oktoberfest beer was excellent. The price was more than fair! We'll be back! Thanks!

The grilled pork chop was incredibly delicious and crispy. It pairs perfectly with beer. The sauerkraut was also incredibly refreshing and delicious. Highly recommended!

Wasn't bad for a hotel related joint

Yummy yummy yummy. I can't believe how good this place is. Usually hotel restaurants are less than tasty, but that isn't the case here. Everything we've had has been a home run. The schnitzel, goulash and currywurst are so good. But the best is the pork knuckle and the roasted juvenile pork. Just some of the best pork I've ever had. Crispy skin and tender meat. Drool!

Had two dinners here, both were good. Service is super friendly.

I had cheese spaetzle with salad, and the salad was good. On the other hand, the actual meal, the cheese spaetzle, was not good. It wasn't a cheese mixture, which I would expect for the price. It was more like a cheese sauce that had been diluted with cooking cream. It was more of a mushy mess. Visually, it looked very good at first glance.

Great restaurant located in the hotel with a large outdoor terrace, also suitable for smokers. It's only open in good weather, though. The food is very good; if you like hearty food, I recommend the grilled knuckle of pork starting at 5 p.m. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get any before that. Delicious all around, and the prices are quite reasonable. The staff has been extremely friendly during my multiple visits. Give it a try, it's worth it 🤗

We've been there several times, but unfortunately never in the beer garden, which was always open only to smokers. The food and service were good, a bit more expensive than in town, but cozy, and the only restaurant of its kind in the area.

Solid Bavarian food, nice outdoor space pleasant on a hot summer day.

Overall it was ok, especially the outside area is nice because of the trees.

It was hard to find because it's a bit hidden in the vegetation, but it was worth it. Delicious food with hearty dishes served by very pleasant waiters. It's one of the few places where you can have a late dinner like in Spain. The kitchen is still open at around 10:00 p.m. They have a very large indoor dining room and a patio with lots of small tables where you can relax.

Highly recommended. We went to the Nations League match between Germany and France. Great atmosphere.

We have been enjoying their cosiness, the consistently high quality of the food and the high level of service for over 20 years! Rarely have we experienced such a high standard over so many years! There was never any reason for a complaint on our part.

Half the restaurant was empty, but was still turned away in an unfriendly manner. The next table would have been at 10 p.m. Is the kitchen still open there?

We enjoyed our Bavarian dining experience in this cozy, upscale setting spot. The menu features traditional German classics like sausages, pretzels, and schnitzels, all prepared with excellent quality and flavor. Their beer selection is outstanding, showcasing many Paulaner brews. The ambiance is a good balance between casual and refined, making it ideal for both business and leisure meals. The service is professional and courteous. This is a great spot to enjoy Bavarian cuisine.

Spectacular food! The right prices. The attention is a bit average without being bad. The waiters are busy and not really attentive. The place lacks life, although it is very good to go with friends or family and have a quiet chat.

First starting with staff and hospitality, staff are simply fantastic, very kind and patient when kids taking their time to order and making sure that you like the food, they also help you what to choose if you are uncertain. 2nd about the food, I would give the representation and the taste 10/10. Best Bavarian dishes can be found in here. Lastly about the vibes, the place is calm, looks luxury, the wood and the lights help you to eat and enjoy the dishes.

I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is very good, typical of Bavaria, and during the week they have a lunch menu with at least two options, but if you don't want the menu, they usually serve a la carte. The service is a bit lost, sometimes they take a while to serve you, but they are always attentive.

Food is good but small portion everything else is ok

We stayed here for lunch for 4 days during a seminar. Great lunch including salad and drink for under €20.00 and always of high quality. Keep it up!

Pork knuckle is ok, Its better than HB at marienplatz. But services still needs to improved.

Found this gem whilst staying at The Westin Grand Munich We opted for dinner one night as travelling with an infant can make navigating a place for dinner hard. So glad we had dinner here. Husband ordered the half pork knuckle, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Thought it was excellent. I opted for a special from their Oktoberfest menu that week (featured mushrooms and veal) and it was divine! I shared this with our son who quickly ate all the mushrooms. Paired with a large stein, and pear brandy. It was an excellent dinner. If we were in the locality of Munich again, we wouldn't hesitate to come back, and will recommend this to everyone travelling. Special thanks to the staff that night as well. Our son was overly tired and started crying, but no one batted an eyelid. So a massive thankyou again.

I know schnitzel is famous over here, but their burger is TOP. Look for Mr Goran, he is the best! Oh, don't forget a Radler!

This hidden gem was inside the Westin Grand hotel. Although you didn’t have to stay here to eat here. They had great local food options, and great beers. Not to mention the ambience was amazing. They did have an outdoor area as well. Was too cold for the locals to have it when we arrived.

I ordered crispy pork knuckle. And ask for potato salad instead of dumpling. Staffs were nice and helpful. And food is really nice.

Only outdoor seating, but there flies and the mosquitos would feast on you. However, the food was great and the portion was greater. One server in particular was great, the other guy who is clearly not from the country - was hardly working for the money.

I had a drink there in the evening as an external guest with hotel guests in the beer garden. Nice atmosphere (it was already dark), large, friendly, attentive service. A lovely evening. I parked in the hotel garage (€6 per evening) I'm satisfied.

As usual expensive with poor TK quality. However, the staff was friendly, although somewhat motivated in the evening.

Waiter was very helpful and food was great

The food is grossly overpriced, even for Munich. The roast had almost no “crust” at all, but the meat was either absolutely dry or too fatty. The dumplings had a strange aftertaste and not to mention the sauce, which was completely over-seasoned. The wine spritzer was definitely not “sweet” as ordered, the water was initially forgotten and then served with a bow tie and a dirty glass. The service made an extremely distracted impression, and even the fake “funnyness” didn’t help. The “beer garden” didn’t make a good impression either, the next table was almost right next to ours and backyard charm isn’t for everyone. There are also English-speaking tourists all around, talking at a volume that definitely doesn't contribute to a nice evening in the “beer garden”. For the hefty price, I definitely expect better performance in all categories.

I find it absolutely disappointing. The prices were a disaster, the food tasted absolutely disgusting, the water glass was garnished with sticky leftovers from the previous guest. 10.50€ for a wine spritzer, 9.50€ for 0.75l mineral water, 4.70€ for a special dish. I've never eaten such a bad crusty roast. The meat was absolutely dry, there was no crust on it, the dumplings tasted like you were biting into pure butter, the sauce was completely over-seasoned and had a slimy consistency. The atmosphere is like a backyard canteen. Just under €75 for 2 people. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend it because it just doesn't taste good and isn't pretty either. Lots of English/Americans shouting at each other while eating.

Big restaurant, delicious German food and big stein beers 🍺. Impressed.

Server Herr Yasa is such a sweet and attentive server. The food came very quickly and was flavourful and fresh. We were given a smaller less varied version of their menu on a Monday evening, not sure if this is the usual. Portions are a good size but a little pricy. We paid €31 each for our food and one drink. It is a cute refreshing little spot but quite hidden behind some greenery. It is on the main road but easy to miss.

It's open on Saturdays and Sundays, and it's spacious and bright. The menu changes depending on the season, so it's good to have some variety. There are plenty of standard items.

Come hungry! The portions of food are quite large and also darn delicious. The service was friendly and quick. My favorite part is getting a stein of quality beer. I love Germany!

Super great beer garden with very tasty food. I can recommend the crusty roast. Simply a poem. Always happy to eat. Not recommended to watch sports there. You are not able to make the sound louder. You can basically watch there without sound.
