I would call this restaurant an insider tip. From the outside, it looks more like a shop, were it not for the signage and the menu next to the door. When you step inside, it's almost like "coming home" to another time. We had the roast ham with red cabbage and croquettes; the food was delicious, and the portion couldn't have been any bigger, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to finish it. The lady of the house was very attentive and friendly. If we're ever in Kevelaer again, we'll definitely come back.

The food on the buffet Thursday was very tasty and the selection was huge, which we didn't expect. Starting with a goulash soup as a starter, through braised meats, pulled pork, tarte flambée, fish, shashlik pot, and men's cream as a dessert, there was something for every taste. There was also home-brewed beer and spirits, a nice atmosphere and great hosts. We'll definitely be back!

Very clean and good snack bar. Sensational value for money. We had schnitzel and fries to go, and thanks to the thoughtful packaging, everything was still crispy and hot when we got home.
