Good food quickly attracts a lot of people. It was very busy but the good food made up for it.

High-class cuisine in a very cozy atmosphere! I've been to Vegan Eagle several times now and am always surprised by the sophisticated dishes. It's really exciting to see the variety of flavors that completely vegan cuisine can conjure up. I can therefore warmly recommend a trip to the far north of Hamburg. And with the monthly changing menu, you're sure to find your own favorite dish.

The ambience is nice and the quality of the food is excellent.

Great vegan restaurant with a monthly changing menu, starters are always perfectly matched, different main courses and desserts. Everything we have eaten here so far has been very tasty. Drink selection also very large. The staff is also friendly. It was always worth eating here. We always felt comfortable and left full and very satisfied.

The Vegan Eagle is one of the tastiest, most innovative vegan restaurants in Hamburg. Even non-vegans will be happy here. Everything I've been able to eat at Vegan Eagle so far has tasted great. The “Cookies and Cream” dessert is the most delicious dessert I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Keep it up!

As a non-vegan, I was there with my colleagues. We were all very excited. Since our colleague is the only vegan and she accompanies us to the “normal” restaurants, we said we would check out a vegan restaurant. The ambience is rustic, old German and there are stark contrasts with animal pictures on the walls. According to the website, the food changes weekly/monthly... which means that there is some thought put into it. We were a large group of 8 people and we all ordered main course + dessert. The burger was great and we were looking forward to the Seitan patty. As a non-vegan, the taste is a bit like chicken and it takes longer to chew than with meat products. The bread and nachos with peanut dip were a successful side dish. We ate them all, meaning it tasted really good. For dessert there was cookies & cream... a dessert poem. Hearty & very, very tasty. Service sends its regards, the lady was nice, asking every now and then whether it tasted good and everything was okay was forgotten. Reorders of drinks were served quickly. Thanks for this vegan experience!

Lovely service, sophisticated food, beautiful presentation - the evening was great.

Rarely eaten so well vegan. There were 3 of us. We took five starters, each a main course (2x burgers & 1x curry) and two desserts + two peanut butter shots. We were super full, everything was super tasty, the atmosphere was great, the service was nice. Is gluten free 👍🏻

Ich war über die Jahre immer mal wieder zu Gast im Vegan Eagle und kann nicht feststellen, dass sich hier irgendwas verschlechtert hat. Die wechselnden Gerichte sind kreativ und ungewöhnlich, es gibt aber auch Klassiker, die immer auf der Karte stehen. Ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Man kann in die Küche schauen, es wird nicht ( (oder wenn nur sehr wenig) mit Convenienceprodukten gearbeitet - und das sieht und schmeckt man auch. Die Mitarbeiterinnen im Service sind super nett, ohne dass es aufgesetzt wird, bei Sonderwünschen und Nachfragen geben alle ihr Bestes. Und ja, es ist schon relativ eng, aber wer da empfindlich ist, möge auf die warmen Tage warten, denn man kann dann auch super draußen im Garten sitzen. Die Kritik, dass die Gerichte zu teuer seien, ist schon fast frech. Wer mit frischen Zutaten kocht und seine Leute vernünftig bezahlt, kann halt keine 10 Euro Gerichte anbieten, das Essen ist wirklich jeden Cent wert. Ich liebe den Laden und hoffe, dass sie sich noch einige Jahrzehnte halten.

It was simply sensationally delicious. I/we will definitely come back. Also the general atmosphere and the staff were just so wonderful.

We visited the restaurant because we like a good meal and wanted to try it out for the children's sake. Unfortunately, our visit was overall disappointing. The reception was friendly, but the service staff seemed untrained. The glasses were handed to us at the top - a no-go in the catering industry as it is both unprofessional and unhygienic. We ordered the hamburger alternative, which unfortunately was served cold. The inside was also greasy, and the side dish of nachos and a small dollop of lettuce didn't convince us either. Unfortunately, I couldn't get used to it in terms of taste, especially since it was overpriced for what was on offer. My wife had the mango curry, which she only ate half of because it didn't taste good. I tried the vegan goulash and I have to say that you would have to get used to this type of cuisine. Unfortunately it wasn't for us. But there seem to be a lot of guests who like this taste. Overall a disappointing experience, both in terms of service and cuisine. It's a shame, we expected more.

EDIT 01/2025: Yes, the prices are a little more expensive, BUT I have never been disappointed here in terms of cuisine. The vegan eagle is now one of my favorite restaurants. ❤️ Always unusual, fresh, tasty, friendly staff, delicious drinks. The food is really worth the price, I hope you stay with me for a long time. 🤝 2023: Had dinner there for the first time yesterday. We had the raspberry mojitos, the 5 bean chilli (I found it really spicy) and the beluga pomegranate salad. Super tasty for me as a non-vegan! Crême Brulèe is one of my favorite desserts, so I tried the three types of Crême Brulèe for dessert. I thought it was delicious, but for me it is more of a crême brulée-style dessert and the taste of the cream is far removed from the original. The service was great, the food was hot and the shop was cozy. The only point of criticism: I really had to swallow at the prices. We'd love to come back.

Very nice restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating - sometimes a bit too quick to clean up. The selection is small, but sufficient and changes regularly. The dishes are beautifully prepared and taste great! Requests are taken into account. The Brownie Trio is definitely recommended! The selection of drinks is significantly larger and offers a great selection!

Always friendly, attentive service. Once again, very tasty food. Whenever we come from Berlin, we eat at the Vegan Eagle. Mandatory program! My mother (84 years old/not vegan☺️) always likes it very much!

The Vegan Eagle is a cute little vegan restaurant with a charming outdoor area. You can eat delicious and varied food there, the service is quick and friendly, the dishes are attractively prepared and filling.

The taste is top notch 👌🏻, a glass of 0.2 drink for 7.90 euros and a soup container that has maximum space for an egg - folks, this is Langenhorn and not Eppendorf, you were a bit over-motivated with the pricing. The store needs to be completely renovated, then you can think about prices like that. We will consider going out to eat with you in the future - what a shame.

Super nice welcome, friendly hosts, great, really tasty food. Everything is fine, you can recommend the Eagle without hesitation and with a clear conscience. For my taste it was a bit cramped in the dining room, but otherwise everything was great.

We had a very nice evening. The service was very personable and engaging, even though she threw accents throughout the store. Respect! What unsettled us, however, was the email saying that we only had two hours because the table would then be reserved again. That wasn't the case, which we should have clarified right at the beginning because it would have helped to relax the situation. So thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back!

Worth a visit even for non-vegans. We like to try new things and this time it was the Vegan Eagle's turn. The food was good and the service was also excellent. Langenhorn definitely has one more reason to come to this area again...

The starters were all an absolute blast. The main course (the burger) tasted very good, but the consistency of the paddy was a bit mushy. Overall, a very good dinner. If it had been served to me somewhere else, I wouldn't have noticed that it was vegan.

I was here for the first time with my children... the tables and chairs are close together and very close together...

After a long time we had a wonderful dinner with you again. Thank you. We would have liked the “bullettes” to have been a little spicier. But everything was wonderful.

I'm always impressed when vegan dishes are cooked in a sophisticated way. I have already had experience with vegan Asian cuisine and this time I am a little disappointed. The Blick restaurant combines the charm of an old 1965 restaurant with Tibetan decorative elements and appears small and squat. The service was friendly and attentive, at times actually overambitious. The food was good but not spectacular. For a main course that doesn't cost less than €22, I really expect more. The patty on my burger was quite dry, the dip for the tortilla chips was slightly salty and the texture wasn't nice for me. I actually feel like I've been ripped off when it comes to drinks - under no circumstances should you show up thirsty! I consider paying €4.90 for a Fritz Limo 0.33 to be a riboff. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right for me, hence only 3 stars.

The food was, as always, a culinary delight. What I like best is the changing menu and the concept of the restaurant. Here you can enjoy good and attractive food.

Excellent food and great atmosphere!

We were there for the first time today and are very happy with our choice of restaurant for the evening. We had 3 starters, all of which were great. Everything tasted fresh and every dish had little refinements. We were there with 2 adults and two children - unfortunately the spicy dishes were too spicy for both children and we also found it very spicy BUT super tasty! The main courses were terrific! We had the burger, the curry and the kids burger. I've had many vegetarian and vegan burgers - this one was better! Also the side dishes - great! The curry was heavenly and the vegetables were perfectly chosen. The crowning glory were the desserts. There is no other way to say it - there was nothing to pass. One better than the other. We'll definitely be back and are really looking forward to the menu in November!

I’m lucky this place was near my hotel, but even if it weren’t, it is definitely worth going out of your way to eat here. Maybe the best mushroom soup I’ve ever had. The veggie burger was also very good.

One of the best vegan restaurants in Hamburg. And a rarity in the north. Delicious dishes such as vegan burgers, vegan gyros, hot chili and delicious fries. And the whole range of Fritz, as well as councilors. Also worth a visit for carnivores. You haven't eaten so well before.

Cozy restaurant, originally furnished and child-friendly. The staff is very nice and attentive. Charitable causes are supported and that's really great! The food was delicious and a pretty good advertisement for veganism. What we didn't like was that most of the food and drinks weren't organic and were far too small. We didn't get nearly full and paid too much.

The food, service and the ambience were, as always, very good. The only thing was that there were a few side dishes with the burger (small bowl of coleslaw and small bowl of nachos with dip).

I celebrated the end of the week with my daughter in the Vegan Eagle garden in an atmosphere somewhere between rustic and cuddly. Absolute recommendation: be hungry and eat all the starters. Since we weren't particularly hungry, the plan to do the same thing with the desserts after the main course as with the starters was thwarted. So we had the brownies packed up as a set and then enjoyed them at home a little later. For us, eating at Vegan Eagle was a colorful bouquet of flavors, colors, textures and further proof that delicious vegan restaurants also exist in more remote parts of the city. It certainly won't be our last visit.

Always changing exciting dishes

It was a revelation, especially for my mother, that the HerrRingsTopf tasted so good. Actually much better than some “real” herring stews 🤗

As a critical meat eater, I wanted to make my wife happy because she likes to eat vegetarian. I have to admit the curry was very tasty. Everything else I was able to try (chilli sin carne, hamburger) was also very tasty. The staff is noticeably friendly but not "slimy". Really highly recommended

Mega pretty restaurant with an equally great garden area. I think the menu changes regularly, which means it never gets boring. The service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was there early. When the drinks were mistaken due to a misunderstanding on my part, I even got the drink for free (even though it was my mistake). Had a burger that was super tasty. That evening it was a little too much sauce for me and no salad (I just wasn't expecting that, so there was coleslaw as a salad) and therefore the perfect proof that vegan food doesn't have to be healthy :D The small starters (5 pieces) that we ordered in advance for the table were fantastic. You could have taken these individually as a main course, which I think is great because it means you can try what you like best. The menu is very extensive, so that as a vegan who otherwise has little freedom of choice, it can be really difficult to choose just one dish :) Absolute recommendation!

We didn't know the EGAN EAGLE until then and came there last week with a gift voucher with the attitude "well, let's see...". We are totally thrilled, the service staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was really cozy and the food tasted excellent! There is a reason for the rather small menu selection, because everything was freshly prepared and was absolutely delicious. Conclusion: The VEGAN EAGLE is highly recommended, we will come back!

The Vegan Eagle is a very special gem. We come here on special occasions. The preparation of a variety of dishes and the friendly service are worth the price.

It's hard to imagine Langenhorn without it. Konsti's cuisine is second to none. Seasonal/changing offerings and standards like the Five Beans Chili are always at the highest level. Prices are standard in the industry. Six stars for the ambience, simply very cozy, definitely go there when the weather is good and eat outside in the garden. Toptoptop.
