The food was incredibly delicious. The service was very nice, friendly, and relaxed. I'd call the decor alternative. I didn't understand why some reviews said it was purely vegetarian. Maybe that was the case in the past...

Very good Asian noodles in the heart of berlin mitte. Tried a variety of their noodles and the black bean pork noodles are my absolute favourites. Easy on the pocket, friendly staff and nice ambience for a work lunch or dinner.

Outstanding spicy food. Not too spicy but just enough to leave a constant tingle. The dumplings are great. They are hidden underneath the veggies so I included a reveal photo. There is at least a dozen. You WILL be full after.

The food is truly delicious, and I highly recommend the restaurant. Unfortunately, the vegan/vegetarian dumplings were recently removed from the menu, which I—as well as many of my friends—deeply regret. They were our favorite dish on the menu. Unfortunately, they currently only serve meat dumplings. It would be nice if at least a vegan option were offered again so everyone can enjoy it. Nevertheless, it remains a very delicious restaurant!

Insanely good! Very authentic Had Mapo tofu

The dried sesame oil is fried and dried, and the sesame oil is fragrant. The staple food noodles are piled high with various salads and side dishes, which are beautiful, nutritious, and very local. It's a bit disconnected from the peppery flavor. The hygiene is really average, the mats are full of oil spots, and the grease on the table cannot be wiped off (it is too thick). I actively ask for tips when paying, but the key is that there is no service, just serving dishes with tableware.

Such delicious pasta dishes! Perfectly seasoned and perfect portions. There was also room for an appetizer. My recommendation: The edamame with garlic. Super spicy and delicious! The staff is very accommodating and friendly, the atmosphere is pleasantly cozy. Always my pleasure!

Mega dumplings, which are highly recommended. The noodles are rather average and are somewhat reminiscent of spaghetti Bolognese. The lamb's lettuce is inappropriate and not authentic. Chinese tea glasses instead of Ikea glasses would fit better. So I'd be happy to go back for the dumplings, rather than the noodles.

The taste of the food was rather average or did not meet my requirements/taste. Service was friendly but not really interested, empty glasses remained empty. It's a shame, because I generally find the approach of establishing purely vegetarian cooking in the catering industry exciting.

I am a customer since 2 years and i must admit that something about the taste of the noodles has changed. I wish the old, constant quality comes back again. Because this restaurant is famous for their fresh noodles and if the quality changes then i don’t know what to do 😞

Die Einrichtung lädt nicht gerade zum längeren Verweilen ein, da muss ich einigen Vorschreibern zustimmen. Nennen wir den Stil mal praktisch-rustikal. Und zur Mittagszeit kann es auch schon mal wirklich voll und stickig werden. Wenn man dann noch einen Platz auf einer der Seitenbänke bekommt und seine Begleitung beim Reden ansehen möchte, gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten: Genickstarre durch permanente Kopfschräghaltung oder, noch schlimmer, Füße hoch, Schneidersitz (da Berlin, passiert das dort durchaus auch, nachdem man sich seiner Schuhe entledigt hat). Und dennoch: für die pikanten Nudeln mit Rinderhack würde ich all das immer wieder in Kauf nehmen (und würde mich dennoch freuen, wenn man das Design- und Sitzkonzept irgendwann mal überdenkt).

Great shop - with different dishes than usual - vegan/vegetarian

I used to frequent this place back then, mainly for the yummy noodle dishes. However, it has been rather mediocre all the three times I’ve been there this year. The quality of the food has been inconsistent (sometimes overcooked noodles, too much beef tendon, lukewarm or not that tasty broth). The service has become underwhelming sadly.

The dessert, sticky rice balls, contained peanut oil that was not noted on the menu, raising concerns for guests with peanut allergies. We appreciated the beautiful décor and ambiance. The fried mushrooms were slightly salty, and the tea was hard to drink without a filter for the herbs. The service was quick and pleasant. Unfortunately, a guest from our party got sick due to the unlisted peanut oil, leading to disappointment with the experience.

They have many vegan and vegetarian options. I got the sweet chili noodles, fried mushrooms, and sliced potatoes. Everything was tasty. The noodle dish has a very nice sauce. I also ordered the beauty tea which was okay. Overall, this is a solid option for almost full time grasshoppers like my self.

Having had Xi Mian nearby, and Liu noodles which are both SO good, I was not expecting this to exceed my expectations but was blown away! the food here has so much variation of flavours and they can also serve the noodles super spicy without overpowering the flavours, also made with so many crunchy fresh veggies! The potato starters are so good, how do you serve crunchy potato without tasting raw? They were so good. Excellent value and the place is gorgeous and the staff are lovely.

Very large but pleasant restaurant, minimalist decor and soothing musical atmosphere. The dishes are generous, very generous! Be careful if you don't like spicy and spicy dishes. This will need to be specified when ordering. Count between €12 and €14 for a dish and ~€3 for a beer. Very fast service.

Delicious meal with non gluten option + Chilean wine

This place has changed the recipies, at least for the starters. They used to be nice and spicy. But that is not the case anymore. Now everything is a bit more bland.

Loved it! The soft music combined with the cozy, warm atmosphere inside was the perfect setting for our autumn dinner here. Food tasted amazing, we did not specify how spicy we want it and our noodle dishes were just right! Things to note: They only take card.

And also nicely presented in the presentation. We had the Saiko Dumplings and Sweet Chili Noodles. The Saiko dumplings were really excellent and I would order them again every time! 👍🏽 .. the Sweet Chili Noodles were good overall, but I personally expected a little more sweet chili flavor. Instead, the peanuts really stood out. The dish was still delicious, don't worry.

It's called Noodle House! Serves cheapest Chinese bagged noodles. Five different dishes we ordered all looked identical. Loveless presentation. The taste is average at best. Very disappointing.

Our dishes were very salty, to the point where it was difficult to taste anything else. Service and ambiance were nice though.

Unfortunately, the new menu is not as good as the old one. The Capsi was super tasty and what is offered today instead of Capsi cannot be compared.

Unfortunately we weren't that impressed with the food. It was okay, but we wouldn't eat there again. But it wasn't clear from the menu that Szechuan pepper was always used, even in the supposedly non-spicy dish. The broth was okay too, but we found it a bit strange to find raw red cabbage and lamb's lettuce in it. This wasn't our idea of ​​Chinese or fusion food. So it's not bad in any way, but it's just not an experience either. The service was friendly.

Delicious. Had the potato slices as a starter. It was something completely different. Really good. Plus edamame. And then the noodles taste very good. Luckily it wasn't a problem to leave out the coriander. I'd love to come back.

April 2024 Quite inconspicuous from the outside (during the day) and as it is dark and the location is brightly lit, it looks completely different (more attractive). Service is nice and quick, prices are okay. Well attended, you should also make a reservation within the week. Otherwise, when the weather is nice, there is also seating outside. Food was still quite spicy for a little spicy (but that's a personal feeling). But it tasted good. I found the menu a bit sticky and worn out, but it was good. Ambience quite nice, but very small and therefore a bit cramped. Only card payment possible. This was our first time here, but there was something about new management on the door.

If you don't want it spicy, the menu offers that this can be adjusted, however as mentioned by another reviewer, this is completely ignored. I asked for mild mapo tofu, and was told OK and that it wasn't very spicy anyway. I left three quarters of the dish, which was VERY spicy and the most salty dish I have ever eaten. The waitress didn't show the slightest interest in why I hadn't eaten most of my meal. If you can't do it mild why suggest you can?

There seems to have been a change of operator. Menus were worn out, as if the new menu had been around for 2 years. The magic that you got to eat here is unfortunately lost, now the shop only benefits from the beautiful ambience that the previous owners created. Super delicious food! Been eating here for years. Unfortunately there are now new recipes and a new menu, which is why it is no longer as tasty as it used to be. The mapotofu noodles used to be called “Calla” and it was extremely tasty. Now it tastes completely different and nothing like Mapo Tofu. Still tasty, but knowing the previous taste, it's a bit sobering. Service was very nice and overall a very decent, clean restaurant.

Super tasty food, but be careful, it's spicy - you can make it less spicy on request. Unfortunately there aren't many vegan dishes to choose from, so only 4 stars. The atmosphere is generally cozy, but the music and sounds of nature aren't really my thing and the tables where you sit sideways (or cross-legged) aren't particularly comfortable either, in my opinion

Food and customer service was okay. The ambiance was nice, however I wouldn't return.

The food tastes good and is absolutely fair in price. However, it was significantly spicier than expected, which spoiled the enjoyment. If you don't eat very spicy foods, you should be careful here. The wine was brought in a water glass, which wasn't that nice either. The ambience outside is nice. I wouldn't necessarily come again.

After lock down came again to the place with amazing noodle dish Ahorn to find completely different menu. What happened? Owner changed? Does anyone know what happened to the two amazing ladies who started this business?

I've always enjoyed being a guest here, but things have been going downhill lately. Uncomfortably arrogant handling and on top of that unprofessional childish stuff like “Card only”. Grow up and learn to count! Both of these alone would be reason to eat elsewhere in the future. The highlight, however, was that they helped themselves to a decent tip simply by holding the device out to me and not letting me see the display. It was only noticed in the card statement. You can do something like that exactly once. Apparently there are still enough walk-in customers in Mitte. You can't keep regular customers like me like that.

Update: I gave them many chances since it was good and i went there from they opened. Kitchen obviously changed, recipe changed. It was just so bad. I ordered rice noodles, they cook too long, it came like porridge. I asked to make new, noodle was good but sauce and broth was so disappointing. I gave up. I ate a little and told to the waitress, the noodles was bad, what happened. She saids “sorry, we changed the menu maybe sauce has changed.” Thx for explaining. And i will stop support them. 5y ago: Its def not an authentic sichuan ramen restaurant but they adapt the taste of people and cook it right for them. I go for “sichuan” spicy then its real hot. Cozy atmosphere for sure. Their teas are also good. Just appetizers are time to time over cooked. But overall good!
