Good taste, didn't know beforehand that they also offer indoor sittings. Only 4 tables, so rather small. The owner is friendly and interactive. The kunefe is nice, freshly made. The tea, not so much. Also do try to remind him about the teas a few times because he WILL forget it. The place is clean and modern. Overall, very nice experience.

Been coming here for years so it’s only fair to say these are my favorite Kunefe in Aachen. Always fresh, crunchy and well balanced. I also have some dietary restrictions but the owner/staff were always welcoming and provided an excellent service. Atmosphere is usually quite calm and relaxing, especially in the evenings.

I don't think I'll buy baklava anywhere else in Aachen. It's both fresh and delicious.

Personally, I can't understand the negative comments. Especially when it comes to freshness, this little shop is simply exemplary. We only eat and serve baklava to our guests during Eid, as we find it too sweet otherwise. For about five years now, I've been buying our baklava from THE SWEET for Eid, and you don't have to be an expert to tell it's fresh. It smells fresh and is always crispy. The sweetness is also quite subtle for baklava, so it tempts you to eat more. All our guests have described the baklava as fresh, crispy, and very tasty, and have asked us if we made it ourselves. I've happily recommended THE SWEET. The owners are very knowledgeable and always very friendly. They're never pushy, but rather discreet in their advice; "Please try it before you decide..." is a common refrain. The shop doesn't have a particularly special ambiance, but it's very clean. Since I usually take my purchases with me, the ambiance is secondary to cleanliness. However, I do have a request regarding pricing: 1. Please label the goods with price tags... 2. Good things come at a price; but in the last two years, as everywhere, prices have been set high here as well: - Perhaps you could lower the price per kilogram a bit for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr festival? - Offer tiered pricing, so that, for example, 1.5 kg or 2 kg is cheaper than buying 1 kg. I'll be back again this year and would be happy if you put up signs with more 'cheerful' fixed prices... 😉

Baklava is delicious, the sweet always comes

I wanted to buy baklava for Bayram. I've bought baklava from other shops and snack bars before and always asked if it might be too old, and every time they said no, we always have fresh products. But at home, I've always discovered how brazenly people can lie. I told the owner of this shop about my experience. I even said it didn't have to be absolutely fresh because baklava keeps well; I'd be happy if it had been sitting for 3-4 days, but please don't sell baklava that was over 14 days old. Since it has a lot of sugar, it doesn't spoil quickly, and the signs aren't visible. I always noticed how old these things were when I got home and ended up throwing them away. The man said, "No, you won't find any stale products here; ours is always fresh." He even let me try one, and it wasn't completely fresh, but it wasn't three weeks old either. But even that wasn't honest. In any case, I bought a kilo anyway. And in the evening, more than half the people were left; they simply didn't like the taste. It's a shame. I'll have to further reduce my love for baklava and try making it myself. Thanks for this educational experience.

On Saturday I bought 500g of baklava with pizza for 15 euros. There were no pizzas in it, just walnuts and hazelnuts. Outrageous. Never again.

Also war heute da für Gülac, habe extra gefragt ob es frisch ist hieß es JAAA...Habe es zum Fastenbrechen einer Freundin mitgebracht wir wahren sehr enttäuscht...mussten alles wegschmeißen...Lokma hatte ich auch das war ok. Und preislich war ich auch leider sehr enttäuscht 2 Stücke Gülac ungefähr 400g Lokma Tatli 18€ Wenn es wirklich frisch wäre würde ich ja noch okey sagen aber 18€ dafür das es in den Müll gekommen ist wirklich schade...

Wir kaufen regelmäßig Baklava von hier der einzige Laden weit und breit wo es leckere Baklava in allen Varianten gibt. Hier wird mit Zuckerwasser gearbeitet nicht wie in den anderen Läden mit Glukose. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zudem sind die Preise sehr fair.

Empfehle ich jedem weiter, den ich kenne!! Habe noch nie davor Baklava gegessen und wurde super begleitet! Sehr freundlicher Besitzer und super breites Angebot. Bester Laden
