The food is really good, much better than the contemporaries in Aachen which serve similar kind of food. The biriyani that you usually get in Aachen is just rice mixed with some chicken and God knows what masalas. Desi Dhaba's biriyani is much much better, with authentic masalas and taste.

If you ever feel into sip some good Chai, pakora and samosas . Definately visit Desi Dhaba.......

Amazing food and flavours . It reminds me of my home food

Once, I accidentally ordered Chicken Biryani through Lieferando from Desi Dhaba and to my surprise, the taste was remarkably close to authentic Biryani. This easily ranks as the best Biryani I’ve had in restaurants of Aachen. After this discovery, I visited the restaurant and ended up eating Biryani there for three consecutive days—it was fantastic each time.

When I tried the food here, it reminded me of my childhood holidays in Pakistan. I held my wedding reception here in the restaurant. My fiancé chose the restaurant and told me I would definitely like it! He was right! Me, my family and all the guests were very excited. My favorite was the Kabuli Palau but I also found the Qorma and the Biryani extremely tasty. The taste is authentic and super aromatic. Exactly what you imagine from Pakistani food! We were very accommodated and the people at the restaurant are extremely nice. At my wedding reception they took great care of my guests and also provided vegetarian options upon request.

I tried six different dishes in one hour and every dish was special in its own way. I had my wedding celebration here at the restaurant. My guests involved, Pakistani, German-Pakistani, Italian, Russian and German people. The food here was so good that people ordered extra than what was planned. I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars. I was really impressed by the original taste and how me and my guests were treated by people at the restaurant. Kabuli pulao was the most beloved dish. I got to know that this is made in original afgani style by a special chief. Biryani here reminded me of Karachi. All and all, I am an extremely satisfied customer. I was unable to find this taste in Munich. I can totally recommend this restaurant to have a feel of Desi or Afghani food here being in Germany.

When busy you have to wait, but it is really worth it. Because it is busy, they do not serve half quality, no, they pay the necessary attention to each dish and serve top quality. Very nice guys

One of the best staff with great food. Kabuli Pulao is very recommended specially with the sauce. If you can handle a little traditional spices, go for the Biryani as well.

Absolute fail. We ordered kabab and fries. We had to wait almost 40 minutes (!) and then had the food packed up because we had to move on. We opened it on the way and it was just super sad. 1. The fries were soft and without salt 2. The kabab were totally burnt and tasteless 3. There was no sauce whatsoever 4. The so-called "Naan" was simply cold lavash bread from the supermarket 5. Of course you didn't pack any napkins or anything similar. Super bad experience

Desi Dhaba is a great find for anyone missing real Pakistani food in Germany.. After moving here from Pakistan last year, I tried biryani at many places but never found the authentic taste I was looking for. And honestly, I didn’t expect much when I went to Desi Dhaba during my short visit in Aachen, but their biryani was a pleasant surprise.. everything was spot on.. Desi Dhaba is a must try. Highly recommended for all biryani lovers

The food is freshly prepared and very delicious. The stuffs were super nice and restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We tried mixed pakora ,biriyani, chicken tikka platter with rice and chai. All of them were good.

The dishes were really very good! And the staff very friendly. If you want to eat authentic and fairly healthy food, it's worth coming through the door! The +: the very cozy decor with small traditional touches.

It was okay Nana bread I have often eaten better. Chicken Reshmi Handi needs more spices. Qorma Kofta was very tasty

The chicken tikka wrap was fantastic, I tried it 4 times but they never dosappointed me with the taste, it remained exactly the same. Further, biryani had the authentic pakistani taste, and personally I loved the food overall. And the best thing is that they also have vegetarian dishes. I would highly recommend Desi Dhaba Restaurant.

Chicken tikka wrap was just beyond my expectations, authentic taste of Biryani and Qorma

- The food took too long to arrive, but really like 1-2 hours ors. - They got our order wrong twice - Look, I don't know if you liked it, but we, my family and I, really didn't like it and it really wasn't worth €150, really.

We had to wait for 30 mins eventhough only one more table was to be served. Its understood that some dishes take time, please inform your customers the expected waiting time when the dishes might be time consuming or you have other orders to fulfill. Loved the chicken tikka , and to be frank it was well prepared and matched the taste back home. Appreciate the effort to coal grill it and maintain the right texture and taste. Can't say the same for the chicken korma though. Thanks for the warm and friendly reception :)

Amazing food. You will get a feel of desi taste! Guys are really nice and friendly. We were with kids and they entertained us on all timy requests too.

Very very very spicy. This food is only for Indians, Pakistanis, it can be normal. Everything in my mouth is burning, my face is immediately red and tinny.

We had ordered chicken biryani and chicken tikka wrap going by the good review and comments in google review and were not disappointed at all by Biryani but very disappointed with the wrap… Very flavourful authentic biryani (hard to find in Aachen) and very decent quantity for the price, will definitely order again.. However very disappointed with Chicken Tikka wrap, it had very few chicken pieces and was exactly like durum doner with fried and mayo (doner is better) that is not how tikka wrap should be…never ordering wrap for sure

Looking for a good authentic desi and halal food in Aachen city? Then do try it out this one. I have tried biryani, tikka platter and mix pakora platter. All of them taste were really good. Mine favorite one is tikka platter. The staff were very welcoming and the ambiance was really good. Definitely recommend :) Worth to try it out guys.

Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible prices, food delivered after 1:50 instead of the expected 30-60, this on a Wednesday early afternoon? Portion was just sad for the price and the bread was tasteless. When I try to call, no one answers... I don't understand how such a high rating for this branch came about. Thank you never again.

A very authentic Indian restaurant. The Indian locals like to eat here or take meals. We had a tasty Mango Lassie (milkshake) and a apetizer filled with surprices (I've forgotten the name...) Our main course was chicken Qorma (with rice and bread) which was spicy and very delicious. And we ate a good chicken pieces roasted on charcoal marinated in creme. We gladly advice you all to eat in Desi Dhaba if you like real Indian meals.

Biryani was delicious and Mango Lassi was marvellous. It was Lunch there than we had dinner there with barbecue. Honestly, it was amazing taste. Their tea made us fresh. Staff has friendly smiling faces. Highly recommend. 👍

This felt like real home-cooking, my chicken korma was full of flavour. My companion had a biryani and loved it. The meat was cooked on the bone for both dishes, which makes such a difference to flavour and succulence. Friendly people, we’ll be back when we’re next in Aachen.

I tried baryani and it was really good the flavor, texture and sides were a whole package. Update for takeaways, dine-in is really good but I'd not recommend takeaways. They are not sure about when the food will be ready and you will have to wait a lot even after the estimated time. If you order different dishes there is a high chance that one of your dish is cold while getting the rest of the order ready. Order should be planned in such a way that all the ordered dishes are warm and packed together at the same time.

I have been to desi dhaba first of all such an amazing and delicious Pakistani food and second such a calming ambience. I loved all the dishes but their mix grill breakfast biryani and pulao are top in the list. Love the vibe. Its so good to have our country taste in Germany ♥️

I am disappointed for the second time. I ordered teller with rice but again I received my order with pommes (fries). Secondly, for €12 this is really tiny portion of chicken. In the same price one can get 4 skewers of Hackfleisch from Orient restaurant.

The food and ambiance was amazing. It's really difficult to find authentic Pakistani food in Aachen and finally we have one now. Service was on par too. Will recommend to go and try especially Biryani and Halwa puri.

Normally you would walk past a place like this... 1 piece of advice DO NOT do it, this is really worth it, super friendly staff explained everything that was there and not, what daily specials there were, what was in the dishes, you name it! Especially if you want to eat something different from the “standard” food… Not unimportant to mention, service speaks excellent English.

Since the number of dishes is not that large, the food is freshly cooked. Therefore it tastes very tasty. The rice of Biriyani was cooked perfectly and wasn't mushy. The dahi boti was tender and the pakora was really crispy.

Das Abendessen war ziemlich teuer für zwei Gerichte für zwei Personen Ein winziger Salat und vier Coca-Cola mussten 75 Euro bezahlen.

Das Essen svcmeckt mir gut. Es erinnert mich an meines Heimatland Afghanistan. Qabuli Palaw und Chakni sind besonders lecker. Ich empfehle das Restaurant, wenn jemand etwas Afghanisches probieren will.

Très cher pour ce que c'est. Beaucoup de riz et deux morceaux d'agneau pour 16,99 euros. Dommage car c'était bon. On a redemandé un peu de viande, qui nous a été servi sans être facturé.
