The Ramp in Frankfurt am Main

Hotel restaurant. We were staying at the neighboring hotel and spontaneously decided to have dinner here. The cheeseburger set menu was good. The service was good, although everything took a little while. Perhaps there wasn't enough staff for all the customers? We hadn't made a reservation and got a table after about a 10-minute wait. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Prices aren't cheap, probably due to the proximity to the airport.

Food is Ok. Staff needs training on communication.

We had dinner at the Holiday Inn in the Hampton. Hamburgers and sausages were about €20. Since we were there, we decided to have a beer. Both the hamburgers and sausages were meaty and delicious.

The only redeeming quality of this restaurant is its cozy, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, which helped me unwind after a long, tiring day of travel. Unfortunately, the food quality was an absolute disaster. Every dish was poorly presented. The Caesar salad—a simple dish—was a complete letdown: wilted lettuce, a few scattered croutons, foul-smelling cheese, and a flavor profile that swung wildly between overly salty and sour. The three of us left half the plate untouched. The steak was dry and bland, lacking any depth of flavor—worse than buffalo meat. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from instant powder and should prompt a change in supplier. As for the vegetables, I couldn’t tell if they were sautéed or roasted—they were mushy, greasy, and indistinguishable. Fish and chips: the fries, which I assumed would be easy to get right in Germany, were incredibly bland—ironically, the best part of the meal. The fish itself was a failure: the batter was thick and obviously doomed from the start, while the fish inside tasted like it had been water-injected and stripped of any natural flavor. I truly regret this dinner experience.

The food was expensive considering the portion size and quality. There was only pizza and pasta on offer. The food was very salty and not very diverse. For example, the pasta could be made a little more attractive with a little decoration. The staff was okay, but the price-quality ratio in the restaurant was not good.

I have ordered a curry Wurst... Meal arrived with cold french fries. I have told the waitress and when the meal came back with warm french fries, the currywurst was cold.

The waiter was a fantastic chap. Food was very good and delivered quite quickly. The terrace could see some improvement. Overall a very nice dining experience. Thank you.

It is not really clear on Google Maps that access is via the hotel or that the restaurant is from the hotel

Horrible. We were put up there for Christmas because our flight was canceled that day. The buffet food was awful. Frozen vegetables that were still cold, or already cold. Dried-out instant spaetzle. Unfortunately, the meat wasn't replenished during our stay. The only non-alcoholic drink from the voucher was cloudy water that tasted more like soaked socks. For a beer (€6.50), which I picked up myself at the bar, I was then charged a 20% gratuity on my credit card without asking – outrageous!

Too bad I didn’t get some photos. Doesn’t matter. Samir, our server from Azerbaijan, was the absolute nicest guy! 5 stars just for his service! Good food as well. For a hotel restaurant, very good! Samir stole the show for the evening though. I hope they can keep him around.

The restaurant is located in a hotel. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed. Does a simple little burger with fries really have to cost €28?

Arrive at 10pm and great size glass of iced tea cocktails and corn chips and the barman is very helpful

We were first allowed to wait at the entrance to the restaurant, even though there were several service staff there. As the queue grew larger - someone came and led everyone to the tables one by one. Ordering time was okay - we chose the club sandwich. The food looked good and was very tasty, but the portion was rather small - 1 portion on 2 plates, we joked. The price is rather high, of course this is due to the location of the hotel. The service was slow, the evening manager (if that was him) left the staff alone (who seemed to be relatively new). Taking into account the location and price, there is still plenty of room for improvement in terms of service and attention.

So since rump steak is a joke it should be 250g for 30 euros The burgers were burnt Once and never again!! Not recommended!!!

I would like to thank mr samir kiazimov not only because he took care of me but i was seeing him serving all the tables at the same time with a smile..he’s smart and he’s eyes always looking for you also suggests what you wish to eat in second!!!

Restaurant of the Holliday Inn hotel, in the middle of nowhere near the airport. Basic food, high prices. The few others around are even worse

The airport hotel is ok. The prices in the restaurant are high because of the proximity to the airport. But what is absolutely subpar is the service in the restaurant in the evenings. Only temporary workers who feel like they're working on the first day and have absolutely no idea of ​​catering. Everyone is walking around confused and without a plan. If there is a service manager, I haven't seen or noticed him in 3 days. It's better to go to Rewe around the corner and eat in your room, you'll have better service there.

Disappointing Experience at The Ramp We recently dined at The Ramp in the Holiday Inn next to Frankfurt Airport and were left thoroughly disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the service was lackluster. The servers seemed utterly confused and uninformed about the menu items, struggling to answer basic questions about ingredients which is concerning for anyone with dietary restrictions. To make matters worse, their demeanor was surprisingly rude when they realized we were using vouchers, making us feel unwelcome. It's unfortunate because we expected much more from a place with such potential, but the poor service overshadowed the entire experience. Would not recommend.

The atmosphere is very appealing. That's probably not the reason why the service is too slow, to put it politely. Maybe it's the extremely unsympathetic and not particularly hospitable boss who just looks at everyone grumpily and demotivates everyone, including the guests. The wine, at least the Palatinate, is very good. The burgers taste very good, unfortunately the portions are clearly too small for the price.

The worst price-performance ratio we have ever experienced: -Raw meat in the burger -Drinks were served after the meal -long waiting time for the bill.

I am not sure what the other reviewers take photos of. As we were shown a table, the waiter took the menus with him again. So we had to find someone else to actually get us a menu 15 minutes in. A beer order takes 15 minutes. That was not only us, but everyone else too. One customer went to the bar and bitterly complained that he ordered a non-alcoholic beer three times and still didn’t get it. I was there, he is right. Half the menu, which seems to be purpose printed for the day, was not available. The salt and pepper shakers were last cleaned before the German reunification. The tomato soup my wife ordered was not bad she said, she characterized it to be as good as the Safeway soup I got her at home. The Caesar she got after looked quite tired. She said it’s fine. I ordered the unlisted country steak with curly fries. The fries were quite good. Unfortunately they seem to have been meant more as a decoration than a side dish. The ‘steak’ was drowned in some undefined sauce and a huge amount of onions. The whole thing screamed for a Knorr or Maggie sauce package, really. So how do I best describe the food? Let me put it this way: I had a Bockwurst and a roll with packaged mustard at a gas station for lunch. I sincerely regret not springing for the XXL Bockwurst. My wife had jokingly suggested to just walk over to the nearby airport terminal and eat there. In retrospect, that would have been probably a better choice. So for breakfast we will likely opt for the “See what the airport terminal offers” option.

We were skeptical because of the numerous bad reviews, which are absolutely unfounded! The food was wonderful and very tasty. The price is slightly overpriced, but normal in this location. Absolutely recommended for a great dinner after a long flight :)

Food was alright but went downhill when I found a hair in my food. Brought it to the attention of my waiter Nih,, and he did nothing to appease my situation. I was staying at the hotel which didn’t have too favorable reviews already. Should have chosen the Italian place down the road.

Was lucky to find this spot inside the Holiday Inn during a quick layover. It was almost 10pm and The Ramp was still open! Ordered the sausages and pesto pasta entree and both were very good. Service was great also. The staff were friendly.

We waited for a very long time before anyone noticed, and were sat at a partially-set up table. The hostess hadn't brought menus. So we waited another long time, while a server sat another group, brought them menus and beverages. I asked for menus. These were brought, but no water was served, nor drinks order taken. After waiting several more minutes with no service or attention at all, and after noticing that the menu was very different from the online menu, we just got up and left. No one cared.

I had the bacon cheese burger. Service and food was excellent, although the price is a bit steep.

Wow! Manager and staff incredibly rude! I was seated for dinner and then discovered that the restaurant had no menu - only a buffet which would have been fine but items consisted of cheap carbs, Mac and cheese, white rice etc and a few items with meat - chicken wings and wurst. Breads including Indian roti too hard to chew and a small amount of salad items. Donuts for dessert! All for 23.5 euros! I could have handled this but at the end of the meal the manager/waiter loudly ordered me to “get up and come with me”. I was walked through the restaurant and ordered to pay cash because “you have no credit”! The restaurant for some unknown reason doesn’t take credit card but I was told that I could charge the dinner to my room. The hotel staff, who were also rather lame, didn’t ask me for a credit card and I assumed they had one on file since I booked online through IHG. Needless to say I will never stay or eat here again and will probably write a letter to IHG regarding my incredibly poor treatment

While atmosphere is fine I ended up finding out after I was seated that only a buffet was available for dinner. 23.5 euros for cheap mainly carbohydrate food like pasta and rice, small amount of meat (chicken wings), small salad bar with roti too hard to chew. Donuts for dessert! (And refused to take credit cards for no reason). Should have walked 5 minutes to another restaurant! What a rip off!

Had dinner at the hotel. Described some issues with «creditcard» payments - but in reality they could not take any catds whatsoever. What kind of Mickey Mouse Restaurant do not accept card payment?

Une heure que nous attendons d’être servi à la fois pour boire et pour manger! Personnel désagréable et pas du tout organisé! Tout le monde court dans tous les sens et finalement personne n’est servi! Et pire, on fait semblant de ne pas vous voir! Manque total de professionnalisme, pas du tout à la hauteur de ce qu’on peut attendre d’une chaine comme Holiday Inn!!

The place is average with huge waiting time for your orders. The food was ordinary but the service levels just spoil the mood. You might need to wait for upto 1.5 hours for your food.

War ganz nett. Personal recht aufmerksam und freundlich. Getränke etwas teuer essen war gut. Kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder, wenn wir von Frankfurt fliegen.

Good place to have easy dinner, service is fine

Genau das, was man von einem Hotelrestaurant nahe des Flughafens erwarten kann, finde ich. Keine außergewöhnliche Speisekarte, die Gerichte aber lecker (etwas mehr veggie/vegan wäre allerdings schön) Der Service freundlich und schnell. Zahlen mit Handy kein Problem. Also klare Empfehlung für Leute mit der gleichen Erwartung

Also ich verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen nicht. Wir waren rund um zufrieden. Sehr nettes Personal, wurden schon vorgewarnt, vor der guten Portion Burger. Den Nachtisch haben wir nicht mehr geschafft. Der Service war gut. Das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker. Können wir nur empfehlen. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

Restaurant choisi pour sa proximité avec le Hampton By Hilton. Service et nourriture corrects, mais sans plus vraiment... Boissons servies au verre 😕 Plats servis assez lentement malgré cela on nous a demandé à plusieurs reprises si nous voulions encore boire quelque chose... Et à l'arrivée de l'addition, on comprend mieux... 12.50 euros le burger, 12.50 € la salade Caesar (annoncée avec des câpres que je n'aurais jamais trouvés...) cela reste correct, quantités acceptables, mais 4.50 euros le verre de Pepsi, c'est du VOL !!! Aucune raison de pratiquer ce prix quand c'est servi au verre 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬Supermarché à 500m, buvez un coup avant si besoin 😉

Schönes Restaurant/Lounge im Holiday Inn. Wir haben hier besser gegessen als es die meisten Bewertungen vermuten lassen. Die Karte ist überschaubar, aber hat für jeden etwas zu bieten. Essen und Service waren sehr gut. Mfg
