Just had a drink - zombie really good! Unfortunately it was way too cold for us - you have to turn the heating up. So we only stayed for a short time! Otherwise, as always, great! Date of visit: Sunday, January 5, 2025 around 7:00 p.m

01/04/2025 Thank you! Again everything is fine. Service excellent. My fillet steak of very good quality and well fried/grilled. January 31, 2023 Very good! The ambience of this gastronomic establishment is extremely successful, it is furnished to a high standard, a well-stocked bar, excellently staged, impresses with a beautiful lighting concept. Parking spaces (fees apply) are available directly in front of the front door if you catch one, as it is located right in Halle's city center. Toilets (men's...I can't judge for women's) are clean and also tastefully designed. Difficult for people with walking difficulties as there is a spiral staircase leading to the toilets, which might be no fun for wheelchair users. From what I've seen, a propane heater was used to keep the cabin warm...mhhh...I'm a little worried about that. I was pleased with the menu, and even more so with the food on the plate. My fillet steak including side dishes was a culinary delight. Very good quality meat and excellent preparation. Not many restaurants can or want to do that. The selection of drinks, apart from the draft beer on offer (Hasseröder), was also great for me. The prices are sporty, but ok....People who receive public assistance probably won't be able to eat a burger here very often, if at all. I found the additional card with a 10% price increase for the occasion a bit strange... I understand that the menus can't be completely reprinted immediately, but a "temporary" price increase means it will be cheaper again?!? There was generally a very good atmosphere during our stay. The staff has been very professional and friendly. THANKS! The drink recommendations for gin and RUM proved to be extremely pleasing. Not too much promised, a pleasure. The restaurant/restaurant was half full on Tuesday evening. I guess you should pre-order here on the weekend. I will definitely stop by again. That wasn't bad.

The ribs were very tasty and I was also very satisfied with the third helping (all you can eat). Maybe they could be even crispier, but that's a matter of taste, especially since everyone has their own taste. The service was very friendly and attentive. So overall very good.

The ambience and the food were quite ok, but the waitress gave the impression that the customers weren't the king as they should be. Requests were received quickly and it took a certain amount of time for the order to be placed. Parking spaces are also a bit poor due to the construction site (but the company and the owner can't help it!)

The fries were very subpar. Guacamole was not good. The burger has a lot of potential, but it also leaves a lot of it lying around. Add to that a team that was inattentive even when the store was almost empty, and above-average prices. I think I won't come back. I think the approach of only processing very good foods is great. But somehow the horsepower isn't on the plate here. The service does the rest. I don't really understand the concept. Do you want to be a bar, a burger joint, or a steakhouse? Everything at the same time means: None of it is good.

Close to the city center, a steak and burger restaurant with a nice atmosphere! We ordered steak and burgers. The steak was good but the burgers were not so good (especially for their price). When we ordered they informed us that the food would be ready in 40 minutes but unfortunately they served us after one hour!! Even though the restaurant was less than half full.. The staff were friendly.

We went to The One on a Friday evening around 8pm. The order was taken quickly and the burgers (Swiss and Roundhouse) were prepared quickly and looked delicious. However, the taste was a bit bland, which was a shame because you could tell it was good meat. The service wasn't good at all. The waitress sat behind the bar with her back to the guests. After the meal, she didn't ask whether both people at the table wanted something to drink but only took one person's order. All in all, this was not the kind of service you imagine when you enter the One. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with rustic and modern elements. What doesn't suit a store where you can order steaks >€40 are the cheap plastic salt and pepper mills. You could put more stylish mills there. I probably won't visit this restaurant again.

Well, I would have hoped for more for the price. Meat was not as expected. And medium rare is a foreign word. Too bad

Very nice atmosphere, kind staff but a little understaffed i guess. Two burgers took about 45 minutes despite the restaurant being less than half full. The brioche bread is tasty, the burgers overall were not too great for a 16 euro burger. Decent place for burgers, a bit overpriced compared to what you get.

Yesterday we wanted to go for a bite to eat at “The One”. It was 9:40 p.m., after standing at the entrance for 5 minutes, a waitress kindly asked if there was a table available for 3 and if the kitchen was still open! The lady answered this question very succinctly with, not for long. You could have said in a friendly way, I'm sorry, we won't be taking any more orders today. We were then supposed to sit down and we waited for a good 20 minutes and were simply ignored by the lady in question. And you could see that she kept looking over at us out of the corner of her eye. After 20 minutes we left. It's a shame, we always enjoyed being there, but never again with such service. Answer to the answer. I rated the SERVICE that evening because I've never been treated like that in a restaurant/bar. It wasn't even about the 20 minute wait itself. The lady in question could have informed us that there would be longer waiting times! But she INTENTIONALLY ignored us! And you could clearly see that in the way she acted. She always walked past the table and then quickly looked away in annoyance. Even when we left after 20 minutes, she saw it.

Was at The One yesterday...unfortunately a failure! There was consistently no service. We politely asked at reception for a free table. This worked without any problems as the bar was no longer very busy. The waitress assigned us a table and then we were consistently ignored by her for over 20 minutes! Then we left. Service: 0 points! It's a shame, we always enjoyed being there.

The food was good overall, but you can clearly see the high price - and unfortunately you have to pay extra for all sorts of side dishes. The waitresses were friendly, but unfortunately the order was a bit mixed up. I was a little disappointed with the homemade iced teas. For the price I was hoping for more, but it was just melon ice cubes, soda water and a bit of mint. The taste is rather plain and not what I would expect for the price. Overall, you can eat well here and the quality of the food is solid. However, the prices are at a higher level, which in my opinion is not entirely justified :-)

We have been successfully using The One as a location for team events and team dinners for years. Very nice atmosphere, the large table in the middle of the restaurant means there is space for larger groups - not so easy to find in Halle/Saale. The food is high quality and of first class quality, we always like to come to The One for a good steak or good burgers.

Food was great, service was very friendly, competent and quick. I actually wanted to eat ribs, but I was told they weren't on the program today. A short time later the chef came and said he could offer me ribs and he could change the order. I thought it was good. It was a great evening for our very large group. Gladly again.

We went to All You Can Eat on Wednesday. That was really very good. :) I would definitely come back. I'm leaving out one star because I would like the waitress to come to your table more often to accommodate drink requests. Great ambience. Delicious food.

Nice waiter and very nice atmosphere outside. Ribs were very good. Steak is prepared “reversely” here (first cooked in a water bath, then seared), which takes time. Whether this method is really beneficial remains to be seen. Steak was definitely okay or good

Dear ladies and gentlemen, The food there was great. We had a delicious burger. Everything was great, but the “nice” gentleman with the short blonde braid was anything but polite. We only had a few questions about the all-you-can-eat, to which he only gave snooty/snooty answers. It makes you wonder whether this is the right career for people like him. LG

We came for the first time, ordered 900 gram ribs and a burger, the food was disgusting and the prices were high!! After I tried the ribs for another 2 days I felt bad!! We left the ribs without eating them!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND going there if you want to feel good!! OMG OMG OMG

The burgers are quite tasty in themselves, the fries are nothing special. The service is friendly, although it varies depending on the operator. However, the price-performance ratio is questionable.

The food was great but the service was unfortunately not good. Had to wait a long time for drinks even though it wasn't very busy. We then picked up our drinks from Treesen ourselves. Clearing things up was also annoying. No "empty trip", it can't be that difficult to take dishes with you if it's a direct route to the bar.

I've eaten here several times now and certainly not the last time. ☺ The food is really delicious, the service is also really great, always very friendly, fast and courteous 🥰 I also really like the ambience. I have recommended this bar/restaurant several times because everything from service to taste is just right 😊 Many thanks also to the lovely chef for the great food 🤗

Cozy atmosphere, competent and attentive service, very good menu (interesting selection of steaks - from Kobe to buffalo), my "James Dean" burger was very good.

There is no better beef in Halle/Saale. It takes a while to get to the table, but it is served to all guests at the same table at the same time and it tastes great. Always happy.

We have been there 3 times in the last 2 months with different groups. Food and service are always top. The kitchen also manages to serve 20 people at the same time. There is also a large selection of cocktails, so you can stay a little longer after your meal. The sanitary facilities are a bit old. All in all, worth a visit!

One of the best burgers in Halle/Saale. I would go there again and enjoy it! Highly recommended! The employees are very competent and have a wealth of knowledge about their menu.

We ate at The One today and in my opinion I can only recommend this steakhouse. Very good food, the staff were super friendly and always up for a joke. The portions seem small at first glance, but they are actually enough to fill you up and taste very good. Price performance ratio is really appropriate.

Food was brutal. Hardly any waiting time and service was more than just top. We even had a personal conversation with the chef and were allowed to try pancakes on his neck, an absolute man of honor. I will definitely come back.

I can only recommend it. -Small update 1/31/24 Today we ate a 1200 gram dry aged tomahawk and it was a huge portion, tasted absolutely great and was cooked to the desired point. I can only warmly recommend it.

We were at The One shortly before the turn of the year 2023 to 2024, like every year. As always, the reception was very nice, the service was nice and everything went smoothly. The food was, as always, very tasty. I can recommend The one with a clear conscience. :)

Steaks Medium bestellt, Schuhsohle erhalten,sind ertrunken im Pfeffer. Für den Preis von 50 Euro pro Steak, komplett überteuert, Verschwendung von gutem Fleisch. Bedienung sehr freundlich, Ambiente auch sehr nett, nur leider nervig laute Musik.

Tasty and expensive. The Tamahawk for 84 euros was gorgeous, but it takes 1.5 hours to prepare and needs to be ordered in advance. Nice atmosphere and great service.

Wir waren schon dreimal dort essen. Die ersten zweimal war wirklich gut. Service und Küche. Das dritte Mal war es leider nicht so toll. Manchmal passiert das eben. Es hält uns nicht davon ab wieder zu kommen. Sonst sind wir ja zufrieden gewesen

Es ist ein gehobenes Restaurant wo es hochwertiges Essen gibt - z.b. Koberind. Es ist kein günstiges Restaurant und daher eher etwas für Besondere Anlässe. Der Service war bei uns Super und die Einrichtung ist gemütlich.Wenn man Zuviel getrunken hat ist der Weg zum WC nicht ungefährlich da man eine Wendeltreppe runter muss. Man kann es auch für Fimenfeiern buchen inklusive Buffet

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Überall findet sich Holz. Service hat uns direkt empfangen und an unseren Tisch geleitet. Sehr gute Auswahl an Burgern, aber auch wirklich gute Auswahl an Rindersteaks. Gargrad war auf den Punkt. Getränkeauswahl ist wunderbar. Einziger Punkt Abzug, beim Service aufgrund einer etwas längeren Wartezeit von 45min. Darauf wird aber hingewiesen.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier und mussten 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten auf das Essen warten, obwohl recht wenig im Restaurant los war. Teilweise mussten wir leider auch sehr lange auf Getränke warten. Die Qualität der Beilagen war in Ordnung. Mein Steak war außen nicht kross gebraten und die Portionen für den Preis sehr überschaubar. Schade.

Das war eines der besten Steaks die ich bisher gegessen habe, dazu kommt die sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Aber auch das schöne und gemütliche Ambiente setzte dem Restaurant Besuch die Krone 👑 auf. Ein toller Abend wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!!!

Das Essen und der Service waren Mega. Preis-Leistung für die Bürger ist einfach super. Dazu sind die einzelnen Getränke cool und anders als gewöhnlich angerichtet. Definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!

Der Hammer 😋 was für ein Fleisch. Super lecker.. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Nicht zu vergessen auch die Bedienung war super nett. Wir haben uns schon lange nicht mehr, in einem Restaurant, so wohl gefühlt.

In erster Linie waren haben wir für 11 Personen reserviert, waren am Ende aber 9 Personen. Die Reservierung erfolgte am 23.08.23 zum 15.09., dass heißt 3 Wochen im Vorraus, und es waren das DryAged RipEye sowie das normale RipEye Steak nicht mehr verfügbar. Gerade die, aus unserer Sicht, beliebteste Steak-Art. Das war schonmal der erste Tiefpunkt, welches bei uns Unverständnis hervor gerufen hat. 18:30 Uhr haben wir uns eingefunden. Die Abfrage für Getränke und bis Erhalt hat fast 30 Min gedauert. Die Essenbestellung erfolgte ca. 19:05 Uhr. Das Essen kam dann 20:20 Uhr zum Tisch. Es ist fair zu erwähnen, dass in der Karte steht, dass die Zubereitung der Speisen 45 Minuten benötigt, aber 75 Minuten auf das Essen warten empfanden wir als etwas zu lange. Denn 18:30 Uhr haben wir das Lokal betreten und 20:20 Uhr das Essen bekommen. Fast 2 Stunden Gesamtdauer bis zum Speisen ist einfach zu lang. Besonders, wenn man auf Wunsch drinnen zu sitzen trotz dessen in den Außenbereich geführt wird, bei welchem es 20:20 Uhr nur noch 18 Grad gewesen sind und die meisten keine Jacke dabei hatten und anfingen zu frieren. Bei allem Verständnis war das Erlebnis und Wohlfühlfaktor in diesem Lokal semi und wir sind gemeinsam entschlossen das Lokal zukünftig zu meiden, auch wenn alle Speisen erste Sahne waren (Onion-Rings, Steaks und Burger). Das macht es am Ende allerdings leider nicht wieder wett. Schade.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit sehr gerechtfertigten Preisen und Portionen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit besonders teures Fleisch zu essen aber auch ganz normale Gerichte. Die Parkplatzsituation ist das einzig negative hier.

Ich habe ein Burger (Ones American Cheese) bestellt und der hat leider nach absolut GAR NICHTS geschmeckt und war ziemlich trocken. Das war leider sogar der schlechteste Burger, den ich je gegessen habe, inkl. Fertigburger aus den Kühlregal. Nach Salz, Gewürzen, Sauce oder Käse konnte ich lange suchen. Der Petty war sehr durch und trocken. Schade finde ich auch, dass man für alles extra zahlen muss. So kommt man bei einen schlechten Standardburger mit einer kleinen Portion Pommes mit Mayo auf MINDESTENS 17,40€. Für einen guten Geschmack würde ich das gerne zahlen, aber auf gar keinen Fall dafür! Mein Partner hat ein RIB EYE Steak mit Süßkartoffelpommes bestellt. Das Steak war gut, aber auch nicht den Preis wert. Er ist auch nicht satt aus dem Restaurant gegangen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und wir wurden schnell bedient. Nach 40 min war das Essen da, was für ein Steak eine gute Zeit ist. Darauf wurden wir auch bei der Bestellung hingewiesen, was sehr positiv war. Insgesamt haben wir 70€ für das Essen und zwei Cola bezahlt. Zwar sind wir nicht zufrieden aus dem Restaurant gegangen, aber habe die Erfahrung gewonnen nicht noch einmal dort essen zu gehen.

Wer ein super leckeres Steak essen will ist hier genau richtig. Ich hatte das Dry Aged Strip Loin. Garstufe und Geschmack perfekt.

Die Pommes waren sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr nett aber, die bestellten Rippchen waren komplett kalt.

Das Essen war top, der Service leider flop. Ewige Wartezeite bis die Getränke geliefert wurden (auch als das Lokal leer war). Nachdem man dann mehrfach nachgefragt hatte, wo denn die Getränke bleiben, erhielt man das eigentlich bestellte und je nachdem wie oft man nachfragte, die Menge oben drauf. Ich habe nach 40 Minuten warten 3 Bier bekommen.

Das Essen war keine 50€ wert. Bei der Burger bulette war nur in der Mitte Salz und man hat auf mehrern Salzkörnet gebissen.

Es war ein Highlight.....auf jeden Fall sind es mehr als 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Wir hatten online ek einen Tisch reserviert und hatten auch noch reichlich Auswahl, wir entschieden uns für den Biergarten....die Servicekraft kam schnell ....nahm unsere Bestellung auf und kaum waren die Getränke da kam auch das Essen. Es war mega lecker 😋 und Preis Leistung hat perfekt gepasst....so gut haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen.....wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen es auch gerne weiter.!!!!!👍👍👍

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 2 bestellt, vor Ort konnten wir frei wählen. Hatten uns für den "Biergarten" draußen entschieden. Bedienung kam schnell zum Tisch, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Getränke kamen sehr schnell, auch das Essen folgte sehr zügig hinterher. Ein kleiner Fauxpas bei der Vorspeise fiel dem Personal auf, eine sehr leckere "Entschuldigung" folgte auf dem Fuße..🙂 Mit dem Personal kamen wir schnell in Kontakt, ein kleiner Plausch würzte das sehr leckere und extrem schmackhafte Essen. Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut für das Gebotene, hier stehen der Koch und das Team für Handmade, Freundlichkeit und Service. Wir waren mega zufrieden, empfehlen gern weiter und werden definitiv wieder hier einkehren, wenn wir Halle einen Besuch abstatten 👍😉

Ich war heute das erste mal hier im "The One" und ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Man sagt immer "der erste Eindruck zählt" und das trifft mehr als zu. Die Ambiente ist wunderbar, das Personal zuvorkommend und das Essen ist einfach Spitze! Ich kann das Lokal ehrlich nur weiterempfehlen.

Zu langes Warten auf das Essen. Nur auf Nachfrage, wann das Essen kommt, gab es eine Reaktion. Personal schien teilweise überfordert, obwohl die meisten Tische leer waren. Notizzettel auf dem Tisch, dass Preise in der Karte noch mal einen Aufschlag von 10 Prozent erhalten. Für was? Langes Warten, teilweise kaltes Essen, 3 Salatblätter für 6 Euro plus 0,60 Cent. Leider das erste und das letzte Mal besucht. Keine Empfehlung meinerseits.

Das Ribeye war nicht in Medium-Rare möglich. Auf der Speisekarte steht das Medium im Restaurant bei 60 grad (Medium ist ~55 grad, nicht mehr) liegt. Ich wollte mein Fleisch nicht so durch aber auch nicht komplett roh. Ich bestellte also rare und es kam ein Steak, welches gut aussah aber innen eiskalt war. Ich sagte dem Kellner Bescheid und 10 Minuten danach kommt ein neues Steak, jedoch nur fast die Hälfte vom vorherigen Steak. Meine Frau hat einen Hamburger im „Wagyu Stil“ bestellt. (Kann das jemand erklären? Ist es Wagyu Fleisch oder nicht?) Der Burger war mega durch, versalzen und trocken. Dazu war der Kellner sehr unfreundlich und reagierte plump.
