Very, very tasty food! The beer selection could be bigger.

We'd go back anytime! Super friendly and attentive, the food was fantastic. The bowl was perfect, and my husband was recommended the linguine with asparagus and feta, which was also delicious. The prices are absolutely reasonable, too. We'll definitely be back!

Tasty and healthy food, everything delicious. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant, friendly service, delicious and healthy food. We spontaneously got a table for two and then treated ourselves to the soup of the day. Very tasty pumpkin soup. Afterwards there was a bowl and the dip plate with bread. Everything was nicely prepared, the bread with the soup was nice and fluffy. Dogs are also allowed. The online menu doesn't seem to be up to date, I had already chosen a bowl that wasn't even on the menu. Highly recommended. If you want to eat with several people, you should make a reservation.

Meine Freunde und ich sind regelmäßig hier, die Getränke sind alle wunderbar (essen habe ich ehrlicherweise noch nicht probiert 🤔). Der Service auch erstklassig, freundlich, aufmerksam und nicht zu "spießig" Alles in allem einfach eine ganz ganz klare Empfehlung!!

From now on it will be my favorite place to have breakfast. Sitting in the sun and enjoying a really great breakfast is really fun. The food is always something special. The components are well selected and beautifully decorated. The employees are very attentive and in a good mood. I had a vegan breakfast with, among other things, hummus, avocado and freshly baked bread.

I was in this restaurant once. On the one hand, the food, I ordered a punch, is delicious. On the other hand, the staff could be a little more interested in serving you. When I was there with someone and the waitress served us our food, she chewed something, not chewing gum. This really shouldn't be the case. The staff also have breaks or not? It really wasn't nice to see. Even when we came in, the same waitress didn't even smile at us. Just no reaction at all. We greeted them warmly and not even a hello came back. If you work in the catering industry, isn't that part of it? Or is it a rarity these days? The atmosphere is not exactly new, but it is well maintained and clean. However, in my opinion The Olive Tree is a place for sitting together with wine or other drinks and not just for eating.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Olive Tree Restaurant in Eckernförde and I have to say I am thrilled! The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere and stylish decor. As a vegan, I was very pleased with the large selection of vegan dishes on the menu. I had a hard time deciding because everything sounded so delicious! Finally I decided on a bowl and it was just amazing - full of flavor and so fresh and healthy. But the highlight was definitely the cocktail I ordered. The owner was incredibly experienced and I could tell he was really passionate about creating mixed drinks. I ordered the "Olive Tree Spring" and it was the best drink I've had in a long time. It was so refreshing and full of flavors - I could have spent all day trying these delicious drinks! The owner was also very friendly and attentive, and that made my experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I can only warmly recommend the Olive Tree Restaurant in Eckernförde. If you're looking for delicious vegan dishes and refreshing mixed drinks, be sure to stop by! And again it was a real pleasure to have breakfast at Olive Tree

Everything top - wine, food, espresso, service! THE highlight in Eckernförde.

Discovered it while taking a walk through Eckernförde and, fortunately, was immediately drawn in by its inviting impression. I'm not a bowl fan at all, but I got carried away here and was pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend, who has much more advanced bowl skills, was also thrilled. I thought I might find something to complain about in the dessert, but then the apple crumble cake came to the table warm. Touché Monsieur 🤷 Overall you can only give full marks. If we end up in a corner again, we'll see each other for the next duel 😉

We were finally in Eckernförde again after a few years. Since we are always looking for “healthy” food, we came across The Olive Tree thanks to Google. The food was very tasty. The service was very friendly. We really liked the concept. The only thing that could be improved a bit is the cozy atmosphere. The prices are certainly a bit high for Eckernförde, but the quality of the food is very good.

Found it by chance and was completely thrilled. Great food (we had the pulled chicken burger and two bowls) and very courteous service. Worth every cent 😊

A little more expensive but the food is worth the money. The service was also very pleasant, everything was there quickly and very friendly (Nordic style). An absolute culinary and unrivaled enrichment for Eckernförde. We can't remember when we've ever had such delicious salads, absolutely delicious. We're happy to wait a little longer for that ;-)) and will definitely come by again (from Hamburg)....

We recently went here for breakfast with family and friends after a family celebration - and what a great decision! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and exudes a cozy, informal atmosphere. The service was excellent from start to finish - very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We were particularly excited about the homemade bread and the incredibly delicious chocolate cake that we had for our birthday. The coffee is excellent, the best I drank during my week of travel in Germany. The scrambled eggs were also perfectly prepared. A wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. We'll definitely be back.

Extremely child-friendly and service-oriented! The food was extremely tasty and the staff was extremely friendly. We got an extra dish for the little one and everything from the homemade sourdough bread to the bowl was super delicious!!!

Ate very tasty (1 vegan, 1 vegetarian) bowls. Nice mixtures, delicately seasoned. Service good, sat outside and got coffee with oat milk.

Best breakfast in a long time. We had the cheese plate with scrambled eggs. The cheese was of very high quality, especially the sourdough bread was delicious and the service was extremely helpful, any special requests were happy to be fulfilled. They also seem to have a very good philosophy, which includes good pay and good working conditions. Could not be better.

The menu is pretty straightforward, but we already liked it. The whole thing is complemented by a day menu, which we also found on. Bread was served with the bowl and salad from the daily menu, which could also be ordered again. This also made us full, which as a strength athlete means something. The coffee afterwards was also good, the staff were very friendly and attentive and it was easy to sit outside at lunchtime. Blankets were also provided for those who found it a little too cold.

Eat good. Ambience very good. Unfortunately service is not good. Small note - In the toilet, the wobbly toilet seat is hanging crookedly on the toilet and a piece has broken off. Service: The employee felt stressed, even though only 5 tables were occupied. No smiles, no relaxed service. We asked about the prices of the daily menu because the daily specials were just written on a blackboard with no prices. (Why don't you just print out an extra card and staple it in front of the standard card?) He then rattled off the dishes and prices at record speed, so much so that we no longer felt like thinking about whether we wanted to treat ourselves to a nice dish. Which is what we usually always do. Our table neighbor was also disappointed. Her food was placed on the table without comment - without asking if she liked it, cleared away and no thanks were given for the tip. It was similar with us, but at least they asked “can I clear away from you”. Our tablemate said she would never come back. After at least 10 visits, as she said. We think the food is good. The ambience too. The friendly boss who served us before was the reason we came back. But we wouldn't come back under the circumstances mentioned. It just wasn't fun.

The restaurant invites you to a short stay. There is a clear, exquisite menu. I had to deduct a star for the price-performance ratio. It still seems too expensive to me.

We ordered toasted sourdough bread slices topped with avocado and also fresh goat cheese and it was delicious 😋. The latte was also super tasty 😋. The service was friendly and quick too. We would be happy to come back.

Very quaint and cozy restaurant. The staff were clearly very experienced and kind. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely wonderful. Especially the sourdough bread and aioli. The off-menu spring salad was also wonderful. This place is very much worth a visit.

The Olive Tree is always worth a visit! The food is of great quality and the coffee is very tasty. Above all, the service is incredibly friendly and helpful. There are high chairs for children and sometimes a slice of bread or a Duplo :) We always enjoy coming back.

War zum zweiten Mal hier und beide Male sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, ich bin ein großer Fan der angebotenen Bowls. Es gab keine langen Wartezeiten. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr schön und die Bedienung freundlich. Die Lage in der Fußgängerzone in der Nähe des Hafens ist auch top. Empfehle ich gerne weiter.

Das Essen war wirklich top, da hatte der Kellner wirklich nicht gelogen. 😉 Alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Bei bestem Wetter draußen gesessen.
