Cozy restaurant with delicious food

Small menu, but great culinary delight. We ate there twice and it was delicious every time. The black beer is also very tasty. Be sure to try the homemade herbal liqueur.

Went for 3 days in the Zittau Mountains and discovered this inn. Great meals, good Bohemian beer and great ambience with friendly staff. We'll definitely see each other again.👍

If you are looking for accommodation I can only recommend this!!!! We were there for several days and were very satisfied overall. Our expectations were exceeded. You can also take the boss as an example of how gastronomy is practiced. (The description refers to the room called Lückedorf) Room: super clean :) + Shower was normal size + also cleaned in the corners + Shower head was perfect (I've often had that Shower head was totally calcified) + You could set the water really hot and the water pressure left nothing to be desired. + Toilet had a soft-close mechanism so that you don't wake your partner up at night with a toilet lid falling down. + Bathroom absolutely sufficient in size + Lovingly furnished + Mattress relatively hard (perfect for us) + Rooms very comfortable + At night it is surprisingly quiet with the window open. Very rarely a car in the evening. Abnormalities: - Toilet brush loses a lot of bristles when used - Bed lamp bulbs far too bright and cold white light. Here you should choose a lamp that has less watts and has a “warm white” light color (2700 - 3000 Kelvin) Restaurant: + Atmosphere super cozy and rustic, everything very lovingly furnished. + The waitress (everyone who served us) comes regularly and asks if everything is okay or if there are any other wishes. (You take care of the guests) + Food is of very high quality and delicious. Breakfast: + each table is stocked with a certain selection of sausages, cheese, jam, etc. So no buffet. If there are any requests, the staff will implement them immediately. + Eggs in any form are freshly prepared and are not left in warming bowls as usual + the coffee is filter coffee (I personally like to drink it) and of course tea is also possible + Natural yoghurt is prepared with fresh fruit as desired

Went there for dinner on our first day in the Zittau Mountains... great start... the taste was perfect... everyone was more than full😉... the little one was also taken care of😊

We, the Stephan family from Dresden, stopped for lunch on our last day of vacation on August 1st, 2024, after a hike to the Fuchskanzel, we were warmly welcomed and entertained, the food was well received by the kids and adults,... .It was a good idea, and it's worth coming back.....Mfg family Stephan, from Dresden.... Hopefully it stays that way, we've eaten there several times in the last few years and have always been in very good hands 👍👍👍

A cozy, rustic inn at the end of the world, idyllically located. We were only there for lunch, were warmly welcomed, the children were spoken to directly, given a little craft work and were immediately busy. Service was warm and personal, very concerned about our well-being. There is plenty of food to choose from. There is no special children's menu, each portion is available as a children's meal. But schnitzel with fries is also possible. Yes, the food costs money, but the portions are large and incredibly tasty. Lovingly prepared. In our opinion, everything done right would give it more than 5 stars. (I had the herring, the melon salad and the cucumber lemonade)

Incredibly nice area. Beautiful gasthof with incomparably fantastic service and friendliness. Delicious breakfast and a very nice restaurant. One afternoon after a nice hike, we ordered a cup of coffee and asked for something sweet, after which a delicious pancake with ice cream was served. Absolutely fantastic 😍 The room is fine but the bed a little too short, but considering the hosts, I would have liked to sleep on the floor. We would love to come again and give our best recommendations

Fantastic place, from the very threshold we were greeted with smiles and a friendly "good morning". The dishes are simply delicious, lamb and duck melt in your mouth. Mrs. Mirona is an incredibly warm and communicative person. Meals were modified especially for us (for a disabled person with dietary restrictions). Wonderful non-alcoholic beer and strawberry cocktail, it will knock you off your feet. For dessert, I recommend the great tiramisu, one portion for two people :) The decor and atmosphere are fantastic. Another visit with an overnight stay.

We were there to eat. It was super delicious. Good recommendations from the super nice and friendly service staff. The ambience is very nice, adapted to a blacksmith shop. We've been there several times and will definitely come back. Keep it up.

Delicious food, great service, gladly again

Just perfect! Very nice rooms, rustic and lovingly furnished. As well as a restaurant and beer garden. Very, very tasty dishes with fresh ingredients, extremely friendly staff. Not to forget the hiking trails directly from the house. Although the "Alte Schmiede" is right on the street, quiet nights - even with the window open! You can't hear the nearby church either. A very clear recommendation from us - we would LOVE to come back!

It was great! A living museum, tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. Very good regional food and a peaceful night's sleep included. We would like to come again!

We feasted our way through all the surrounding restaurants, but we were repeat offenders only at the Blacksmith's, the cuisine is fantastic. The menu is very extensive, there is something for everyone, small portions for the children, delicious desserts, homemade lemonades. Very nice, attentive staff, at the end there is a lucky charm 🍀 we will be back

Things don't always go smoothly in life, but if you treat your guests in a solution-oriented and customer-friendly manner, as we just experienced in this inn, you feel completely comfortable as a guest. In addition, the dinner and breakfast are extensive and very tasty, the rooms are furnished with attention to detail and the entire house is clean and originally decorated. But all of this is topped by the warm and loving nature of the hosts. We can absolutely recommend you and would be happy to come back ourselves. Thank you for a great stay!

Ich war das letzte mal dort essen als ich 14 Jahre alt war, und das Essen war damals schon gut, und jetzt wo ich mit meiner mittlerweile eigenen Familie dort essen war ist es noch um Klassen besser , ein richtiger "Geschmacksorgasmus".

Service wie man sich ihn wünscht. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Speisen und Getränke ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Da kommt man gern wieder.

Wir waren heute am 25.01.2024 im Gasthof Alte Schmiede in Lückendorf zum Abendessen mit unseren 2 Kindern. Obwohl das Restaurant wegen einer Weinverkostung komplett ausgebucht war, wurden wir Herzlich Empfangen und es wurde kurzfristig ein Tisch bereit gestellt. Die Wirtin und Ihre Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und hat unseren Kindern direkt etwas zu Malen gegeben. [ Wirtin mit Herzblut ] Das Essen war hervorragend und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Preisgestaltung ist für diese Gastfreundlichkeit und für das leckere Essen mehr als in Ordnung. Am Ende haben die Kinder ein kleines Plüschtiere bekommen und wir einen kleinen Anhänger. [ Wir waren sehr erfreut und überrascht ] Wir wollen uns einmal vom ganzen Herzen mit dieser Bewertung bedanken und können diesen Gasthof nur weiterempfehlen.

Velice neprijemna obsluha nas po velmi prijemne stravene navsteve Oybinu, prakticky vyhodila z restaurace v pul tret odpoledne. Pry do 17 hodin nevari a neobsluhuji. Misto u stolu bylo. Nedoporucuji.

Wir wurden sehr gut bedient und es ist sehr angenehm dort wir waren schon 3mal da und werden auch wieder kommen.

Das Essen ein Gedicht . Ich hatte Lammkeule mit Klöße und das Fleisch zerfiel unter dem Besteck, so zart war es. Ja und die Bedienung war der zweite Teil des Gedichts. Schnell und unaufdringlich da und super nett und freundlich. Wir sagen Danke und kommen bestimmt mal wieder
