Not our first stay at the Hotel Nensch. It was very nice again. The service is top, the dinner was very tasty (I had knuckle and schnitzel). Breakfast great. Friendly staff and very attentive. We would love to come back to Oybin to the Hotel Nensch. Many thanks to the Nensch team! Nico H.

I definitely recommend the restaurant to visit! Nice (also Czech-speaking) service, beautifully presented, imaginative and tasty dishes at favorable prices, you can count on that here. The fact that they only take cash here might make life difficult for some, but you are warned about it when you arrive.

Absolutely recommended! Four of us had dinner here this evening and were simply speechless with excitement. The restaurant is very dog ​​friendly. We had two dogs with us and were given a separate and cozy area all to ourselves (with a telephone reservation). You immediately feel at home in the ambience of the restaurant. The service is very accommodating, friendly and super personable. The food was to die for. We have rarely experienced such good German cuisine in a restaurant. Great both in terms of presentation and taste. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. If we didn't have other plans, we would come back for the remaining evenings of our short vacation. The two of us had dinner here this evening. The service is very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We haven't been served so kindly in a long time. Top! And the food was outstanding. I had the pork medallion and it was cooked to perfection. The spaetzle and sauce were very well seasoned. My husband had the schnitzel and loved it too. You could tell that everything was freshly prepared. Many thanks to the chef for the delicious food!!! The prices are more than reasonable for what you get. We can really only recommend it!

The menu offers a lot of choice and the dishes are put together in a special way, but still good home-style. The prices are absolutely justified for the food. The food is very clearly presented and the food definitely lived up to the first impression. The wait time was just right. The service is very warm. We'd love to come back.

Although everything was reserved, two tables were set aside where we had a great meal I haven't had such delicious dishes in a long time. Ox cheeks and Königsberger meatballs were a poem. And the service was also super friendly and attentive. If we are in Oybin again at some point, we will definitely stop there again.

Yesterday we had dinner in the restaurant of the Hotel Nensch. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The waitress and waiter were super nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty and the portion was appropriate for the price. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely like to come by.

Hotel: The beds are a complete disaster, you go home with a bad back. You almost burn yourself in the shower because of the extreme water fluctuations. Pay by card? Only in the evenings. It doesn't work at all. Restaurant: Table reserved -> cards are brought -> you choose something and then you get the answer "unfortunately it's out because there's so much going on" Can't you say that right from the start? Absolutely not recommended!

A beautiful hotel, lovingly furnished. The house with the rooms looks like it was carved into the rock. Everything is super clean and uncomplicated. Breakfast buffet was varied and planned in advance. When you arrive you will be asked how many rolls you would like so that not so much is thrown away. I think it's great. The tables are individually set. All in all a great hotel and definitely recommended.

We ate here on our vacation and all we can say is WOW! Starting with the menu - the dishes are special and refined. Prices are super pleasant. You don't think that you are eating in a "normal" restaurant in a small place like Oybin. The food is star level (for us). When it comes to service, we would especially like to thank Roman. He was so friendly and always had a laugh on his face, we had a lot of fun. We also went out to eat a second time and, in addition to the very good menu, it was a reason to come back. We were here with 9 people and we were all thrilled. We had reserved a table and everything was already prepared for us. The service was great and we received excellent service. Were guests yesterday (wedding anniversary) and can only recommend the restaurant and hotel. We had a nice table on the terrace for dinner. The dishes were all of first-class quality (the chanterelle soup, the roasted suckling pig knuckle, the Königsberger meatballs, ox cheeks and a souffle). The optics were also great. Were here for dinner for the first time today, unfortunately not satisfied. The spice of the food was missing.

So far the food has been great everywhere in Oybin and the surrounding area, but the knuckles and Königsberger meatballs were nothing. We were disappointed. The knuckles from the deep fryer were not seasoned and the meatballs also lacked seasoning.

Wir hatten ein Frühlings Angebot für einen 5 Nächte Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gefunden,und können nur schreiben es war alles wie beschrieben. Das Angebot beinhaltete Halbpension,wobei sich im vorhinein das Frühstück Brötchen oder Brot ausgesucht werden konnte/musste,das Abendessen bestand aus einem 3 Gang Menü wobei immer die Auswahl zwischen zwei Gerichten bestand. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und es gab alles was benötigt wurde,leider sind die Betten etwas sehr tief. Der Ausblick auf den Berg Oybin war das Highlight des Zimmer,weiterhin hatte man die Möglichkeit schnell am Bahnhof zu sein um mit der Schmalspurbahn in verschiedene Orte zu gelangen. Wir werden sicher wieder einmal das Hotel besuchen.

We were there for dinner for the second time today and we were absolutely thrilled. Four different dishes, roulade, schnitzel, fish fillet and pork fillet, all great, I haven't eaten this good in a long time! The chef is great and the service is also very accommodating.

We didn't stay overnight here but just had lunch and found the food and service very good! The chef has something on his plate. 🤩 The menu was clear, but the dishes were A1. We had, among other things, spaetzle, sauerbraten, roulades and a children's dish. Everything tasted great! Definitely a big recommendation for the restaurant.

The room was very clean and very comfortable. The food was incredible. 😳 So delicate and delicious. We thought we were in a 5 star restaurant. And how the food was prepared 😳 The eye eats too. Unbelievable for a small place like Oybin, a soooo great restaurant with such friendly service. Highly recommended!!!! It's also worth driving there from another location.

We were in the restaurant. The service is great. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The food is fantastic. There is home-style cooking. The wild garlic risotto is a poem. There is a children's menu with child-friendly dishes. We are happy to recommend the restaurant.

I booked dinner here for my runner group (30 people). The dinner was sensational. It was gourmet cuisine. Taste great, look great. Everyone enjoyed it. Gluten-free bread was possible. Vegetarian and vegan food possible. Super friendly service staff. Nice, uncomplicated boss. Communication promptly, uncomplicated, via short official channels. We recommend the Hotel Nensch. :)

Since the hotel is not categorized as a restaurant on Google, you cannot give a rating for the food: it would get the full 5 stars. We spontaneously looked for a place for a late lunch and ended up here by chance. From the outside it looks rather old-fashioned (the claim "good-bourgeois German cuisine" doesn't usually mean that you can expect exquisite things. Not at Nensch!). Since around 2020 - we were told - a young kitchen team has been at work and seems to be able to easily serve familiar dishes in a new style. We had an excellent meal, the prices were relatively cheap and the service was excellent. You should remember this address and be hungry enough to eat your way through several courses. Please maintain this level! ✨

I'm reporting on the restaurant: it seems to be pretty much the only one in town that's open on a Tuesday during the winter holidays! It saved us from the rain! It was very cozy and the food was delicious (it even goes beyond the advertised "home cooking"!). And you can probably manage to pay by credit card, right?

Experience has shown that getting a table in Oybin on Friday evening without a reservation is not very easy! Almost impossible as a group of 10! Fortunately, thanks to the flexible approach of your service, who picked us up in front of the restaurant after the initial cancellation and offer to make a reservation for the next day, we were able to stop in and had a very good evening. As always, the food was really delicious! The Königsberger Klopse, in its upscale variations, is absolutely recommended! All the best to the entire team in 2024!

We had lunch here today after a tour of the monastery and were really pleasantly surprised. Sweet, wintry, kitschy decorations and absolutely delicious food. That was the risotto Best thing I've eaten in a long time. Well prepared. Then a homemade praline. Also delicious and beautifully prepared. In addition, a very friendly host who probably only took over the business two years ago. Wir waren nur zu Gast im Restaurant und keine Hotelbewohner. Es war ein wunderbarer Abend. Die Bedienung war sehr sympathisch, humorvoll und aufmerksam. Schon allein vom Lesen der Speisekarte kam einem unendlicher Appetit. Tolle Kreationen. Jeder von uns war begeistert vom Essen. Nicht nur fürs Auge, auch für den Gaumen ein Leckerbissen. Waren mit einer kleinen Wandergruppe zu Mittag essen. Sehr reichhaltiges Angebot und sehr schmackhafte Speisen. Sehr nette Wirtsläute.

Wir waren 2x zum Abendessen. Das Essen hat Sternequalität,somit entsprechen die Preise absolut dem erlebten Niveau. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Über die Zimmer können wir noch nichts sagen, erwägen aber ein verlängertes Wanderwochenende im nächsten Jahr.

Sehr guter Service. Die Küche ist Spitze und der Koch ist sehr gut. Die Gerichte sind einfach sehr gut kombiniert und suchen seines gleichen. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, Bahnhof (Schmalspurbahn nach Zittau) gleich über die Straße und die Kleinbahnen (Töpfer, Hochwald und Burg - 100m). Für einen Wanderurlaub sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich kann zu dem Hotel nichts sagen. Wir waren nur essen. Warum 3 Sterne? Weil das Essen nur danach geschmeckt hat. Eine Speise zu bewerten ist nicht nur subjektiv sondern kann auch nach klaren objektiven Kriterien bewertet werden. 1.Die Rinderroulade war zu viel zu zäh. Zu wenig gedünstet , was man auch an der Zwiebel in der Füllung sah. 2. Die knusprige Haxe war alles andere als knusprig. Die Haut war wie Gummi ( auf dem Bild zu ahnen ). 3. Der Fisch und ein Schnitzel für das Kind war gut . Das zweite Schnitzel war sehnig und schmeckte nach Fisch. 4. Der Kartoffelkloß war staubtrocken ( Kloßpulver ?? ) Der Gastraum ist urgemütlich. Der Service hervorragend und meinem Hund ging es sehr gut. Dafür ein Danke! Was Ihre Küche betrifft , sollte der Koch mal in sich gehen und mal Frische favorisieren. Wenn er auch so kocht wie er die Teller anrichtet, wird es auch was mit 5 ⭐️ Sonst bleibt das Essen , wie die Blume auf Ihrem Tisch…

Ein ganz tolles, gemütliches und super nett geführtes Restaurant mit einem essen, was man eigentlich hier nicht zwingend erwarten würde. Selbst in einer Großstadt wie Berlin haben wir bislang nicht so ausgezeichnet gegessen wie hier. Sehr kreative und köstliche Gerichte! Wir waren dreimal hier essen und alles war traumhaft lecker!

Waren mit unseren Freunden zum Abendessen im Hotel Nensch und waren echt begeistert. Speisen waren sehr schön angerichtet und haben wunderbar geschmeckt, das Ambiente war richtig toll. Wir waren in unserm einwöchigen Urlaub zwei mal in diesem Wirtshaus essen und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal (inkl. Chefin) ist super nett und das gesamte Ambiente im Restaurant hat uns gut gefallen. Die Beilagen sind super auf die jeweiligen Gericht abgestimmt und es lohnt sich absolut dieses Restaurant zu besuchen!

Die Gaststube ist nicht sehr groß, daher lohnt sich eine Reservierung. Die Bedienung war freundlich und ging auch auf spezielle Wünsche ein. Die Zubereitung, der optische Eindruck und der exzellente Geschmack der Speisen gingen in Richtung Gourmet-Küche. Wir waren sehr überrascht und können diese Erfahrung nur weiterempfehlen, insbesondere das Bärlauch-Risotto und das Schokoladen-Soufflè.

Wir waren Heute in diesem Wirtshaus eingekehrt. Und ich muss sagen, die Bedienung, war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war schnell bestellt und kam auch ziemlich schnell und dann der erste Biss, einfach lecker. Kompliment an den Koch und an das ganze Team, wir waren sehr zufrieden, auch preislich absolut Top. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen. 5* plus.

Schon beim ersten Spontanbesuch auf einen Apéro auf der Terrasse fiel uns die Karte auf, und was um uns serviert wurde, roch lecker und sah gut aus. So entschieden wir uns für eine Corona-bedingteTischreservierung für einen der folgenden Abende und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sowohl die Karte als auch die Tagesgerichte machten die Auswahl schwer. Dazu kam eine nette und angenehm kommunikative Bedienung. Nur den Küchenschluss um 20.30 Uhr hatten wir übersehen, so dass wir kein Dessert mehr genießen konnten.

freundliche Bedienung, das Essen war einfach köstlich. Zart und Geschmackvoll, der Teller mit Liebe zubereitet. Gern empfehle ich dieses Wirtshaus weiter. Zumal Sitzgelegenheiten Außen wie Innen reichlich vorhanden sind. Zum Nachtisch mal einen Hauseigenen Ingwerschnaps probieren.

Wir sind spontan im Hotel Nensch eingekehrt. Das hatten wir schon lange vor und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das Zittauer Gebirge wirklich super. Wir kommen wieder ☺️

Wer solide deutsche Küche mag, wird hier nichts falsch machen! Wir bekamen von einer super freundlichen Servicekraft einen kleinen Tisch im Nebenraum...der Rest des Lokals war offensichtlich für Hotelgäste und Gruppen reserviert. Das Ambiente ist ziemlich rustikal ;-) Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und flink. Die Karte ist überschaubar, was wir als durchaus positiv empfunden haben... für jeden Geschmack dürfte hier etwas dabei sein....Fisch, Wild, Fleischigen und Fleischloses. Wir wählten den Hirschbraten und das Steak auf four und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Auf eine kleine Kritik (leider war das Gemüse zum Braten nur lauwarm) reagierte die Kellnerin sehr freundlich, bedankte sich und versprach es der Küche auszurichten.
