⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir waren in der Kleinen Burg in Oybin essen und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Restaurant bietet eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und eine leckere gutbürgerliche Küche. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich wirklich überzeugend und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair. Auch die Getränke waren sehr lecker und haben den Besuch perfekt abgerundet. Wer in Oybin einkehren und gut bürgerlich essen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Kleine Burg uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ich bin nicht so richtig warm geworden mit dem Restaurant. Der Service war grundsätzlich gut und informativ, aber wirkte etwas steif und wie aus einer anderen Epoche. Dazu passend muss man bar zahlen. Die Portionen fand ich durchweg als sehr klein bemessen / übersichtlich. Ich habe zum Beispiel noch nie so eine kleine einzelne Scholle serviert bekommen, aber auch bei den Fleischgerichten, Beilagen, Suppen oder dem Ketchup war es nicht wirklich besser. Die Speisen waren zumeist schmackhaft, hörten sich auf der Karte aber interessanter an als in echt, und schienen mir auch qualitativ nichts besonderes zu sein. In der Summe in meinen Augen deutlich zu teuer für das Gebotene. Ansonsten schöne kleine urige Location.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Super gemütliche Gaststätte mit richtig leckerem Essen. Obwohl mein Sohn und ich erst kurz vor Küchenschluss ankamen, wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient. Geschmacklich top und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier einfach absolut. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service!

Waren gestern dort Essen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Allerdings nur Cash Bezahlung. Wenn man es weiß ist es i.o. Steht als Hinweis in der Karte, sollte meiner Meinung nach noch präsenter Kund getan werden. Besonders warum es so ist. Dann ist das Verständnis um vieles größer. Ich sag nur "bestes Deutschland aller Zeiten" 🤣

Eines der Ältesten Häuser der Stadt Oybin

Ich war mit meiner Familie zum Mittagessen vor Ort.Ich hatte vorher telefonisch einen Tisch bestellt.Das Restaurant ist klein aber fein.Das Personal war sehr nett,freundlich und zuvorkommend.Das Essen war lecker ja bei den Wartezeiten ist noch etwas Luft nach oben aber alle sind stets bemüht.Es wird auch darauf hingewiesen daß es bei den Speisen etwas länger dauern kann.Ich würde es trotzdem weiterempfehlen.👍🏼

Service sehr freundlich, Essen war gut, allerdings war das Bier (Schwazbier) warm, Pils war kalt. Das Ambiente wirklich einmalig und urig.

Die Atmosphäre ist abends ruhig und der Service in Ordnung, aber das Essen war nicht besonders gut. Alle Gerichte waren versalzen, und nur drei Fischstäbchen und ein paar Pommes für ein Kindermenü sind ein Witz.

Wirklich schick, waren als Familie da, zwei kleine Kinder und es war alles sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Haben uns als Gäste sehr aufgenommen gefühlt. Das Essen war eine Top Leistung. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen, das geboten wurde, war den verlangten Preis nicht annähernd gerechtfertigt. Schnitzel sehr dünn, die große Nudelpfanne war keine Pfanne, eine kleine Schüssel mit billigen Nudeln - mit etwas Käse. Den musste man suchen und war absolut nicht den Preis angemessen der gefordert wurde 🍜. Essen gehen sollte man da nicht. Unser Fazit. Einen Stern dafür das man es essen konnte.

Obwohl nur wenige Gäste da waren, mussten wir etwas warten, bis unser Essen fertig war, da es nur einen Koch gibt. Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich.

Wir haben 2 mal in der "Kleinen Burg" gegessen. Das Essen war tadellos und lässt sich nur weiterempfehlen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt ebenfalls. Die Bedienung war angenehm.

Wir waren in einer Vierergruppe im Restaurant. Wichtig: Vorbestellen, weil im Restaurant nur begrenzte Platzkapazität. Besonderheit: die Speisen sind nicht außergewöhnlich spektakulär aber mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlich solide selbst zubereitet und durchaus lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in der "Kleinen Burg" top. Restaurant aus meiner Sicht in Oybin sehr empfehlenswert.

Einfach super Personal und Essen

Unsere Gruppe war mit dem Essen und dem Service sehr zufrieden.

Köstlicher Apfelstrudel, Crêpes und Vanilleeis mit Kürbiskernöl. Auch der Service war hervorragend.

Nachdem wir extrem lange auf unser Essen gewartet haben, kam dies auch noch zeitversetzt an (wir waren nur zu zweit). Die Pommes waren noch halb roh und kaum gewürzt, das Schnitzel war ziemlich sicher ein schlechtes TK Produkt. Die Champion Rahmsauce hat eigentlich nur nach Zitrone geschmeckt und das Würzfleisch ist auch nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Sehr klein und geschmacklich auch nicht wirklich gut. Am Tisch im Gastraum wurden die abgeräumten Teller der Gäste mit Knochenresten etc. Gesammelt, wobei einem der Appetit dann doch leicht vergeht. Alles in allem für den Preis, deutlich verbesserungswürdig.

Speisen haben Luft nach oben, es dauert ewig (45-60 Minuten), Essen kommen nacheinander und Küchenschluss ist 18::0 Uhr statt wie offiziell 19:00 Uhr. Wir kommen eher nicht wieder!

Das Essen war nicht nur schlecht, wir haben uns alle eine heftige Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen – vielleicht lag es am Bier, vielleicht an den Nudeln mit Hühnchen. Nachdem ich in die Küche geschaut hatte, war ich im Nachhinein nicht überrascht.

Ich glaube, wir haben noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Nach einer sehr langen Wartezeit kam das erste Essen von 6 eine halbe stunde vor dem letzten Essen. Das Hähnchen schmeckte nach Plastik, die Pommes waren so gut wie roh. Solche Preise für Mikrowellenessen und dieser Service sind schon sehr traurig.

Ein toller Ort mit einer wunderbaren Atmosphäre – schon beim Betreten merkt man, dass dies mehr als nur ein gewöhnliches Restaurant ist. Es befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude, einem der ältesten in Øybin, das noch aus der Klosterzeit stammt. Die Atmosphäre ist beeindruckend: Das kleine, historische Gebäude, die Details am Eingang und der ruhige Garten schaffen eine angenehme Stimmung, besonders nach einem Spaziergang durch die Nachbarschaft. Wir bestellten zwei Varianten von Schnitzel mit Pilz-Sahne-Sauce – einmal mit Bratkartoffeln, einmal mit Kartoffelpuffern. Und wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht. Das Schnitzel war perfekt gebraten, die Panade knusprig, das Fleisch zart und saftig. Die Sauce war kräftig, mit einem ausgeprägten Pilzaroma, gut gewürzt und genau richtig dosiert. Auch die Beilagen waren erstklassig. Die Bratkartoffeln waren goldbraun und leicht knusprig, und die Kartoffelpuffer waren perfekt zubereitet – nicht fettig. Frisches Gemüse war eine einfache, aber notwendige Beilage. Die Wartezeit war für frisch zubereitete Gerichte normal. Der Service war effizient und unkompliziert. Wenn Sie in Oybin sind und in einem geschichtsträchtigen Ambiente etwas Besonderes essen möchten, ist dieses Restaurant definitiv einen Besuch wert. Hervorragende Küche und ein tolles Ambiente.

Leider hat uns das Essen nicht überzeugt. Das Schnitzel war sehr trocken und wir mussten über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Insgesamt war der Service recht langsam. Wer wenig Zeit oder Geduld hat, sollte vielleicht ein anderes Restaurant wählen.

Das Essen hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Bratkartoffeln waren verbrannt und die Pommes bekommt sogar McDonalds besser hin. Das panierte Hähnchen war ein Witz. Mehr Panade als Fleisch. Das Essen kam nach über einer Stunde und dann auch nicht beide essen zusammen sondern getrennt. Sodass durch weitere warten das erste essen schon kalt war. Daher ganz klar nichts zu empfehlen!

Super kleine Kneipe, Essen war gut, Preise auch. Sehr schönes Ambiente in den Fels gebaut. Wir waren sehr zu frieden.

Kann man mal machen. Essen durchaus in Ordnung, sogar besser als erwartet und harmonisch mit dem Ambiente im Kellergewölbe. Urig und auch recht gemütlich. Bedienung war in Ordnung.

Das älteste Haus in Öybin. Man merkt sofort, dass man sich in einem Felsen befindet – nicht nur optisch, sondern auch geruchlich. Das Personal kümmerte sich sofort um uns. Wir bekamen köstlichen Tee und scharfe Zitrone. Das Pfeffersteak, das wir bestellt hatten, war perfekt! Unglaubliche Atmosphäre. Auf jeden Fall einen erneuten Besuch wert. Bezahlung nur in bar. Toiletten befinden sich im Erdgeschoss im Außenbereich.

A nice little restaurant, partially built into the rock. The menu is also well-stocked. There should be something for everyone. The staff is very friendly, and the kitchen does a great job. However, I do have to deduct some for the lack of card payment options. That's completely unacceptable for me these days. It's certainly not conducive to tourism. Another visit? Questionable...

The ambiance was really nice, the waiter was helpful, but unfortunately, some of the food was terrible. My parents' schnitzel was obviously not from the loin but from the breast. It was very marbled and stringy, making it inedible. My sister and I had the chicken schnitzel. That was okay. The price was okay, too, but some could have complained more about the hygiene. The kitchen was open, and the restrooms were right next to it. We'll definitely survive, but the meat service urgently needs to be changed. They've obviously been cutting corners there.

The restaurant at the Little Castle is highly recommended. Friendly service, excellent food, and a rustic atmosphere. Even the kids loved eating in a stone cave. Anyone in Oybin should definitely visit this restaurant. Even the children's special requests were met promptly and unconventionally.

We were rudely shown the door. It's okay if all the tables are occupied, but some of the staff could have been more friendly.

We came here for lunch and were very satisfied. The food is delicious; I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, the staff are extremely unfriendly. They simply ask you with a few quizzes if you have a reservation, only to then, shaking their heads and saying, "Then not," kick you out with small children in the pouring rain. Therefore, not recommended!

Unfortunately, you can't pay by card at the place, which was the only inconvenience, because the nearby vending machine didn't work either. The food was delicious

If you're in Oybin, you have to stop by. The outdoor seating is great, but inside, it's in the mountains, simply rustic. Reservations are seasonal.

You guys are great. Everything's just right. The food is delicious. Everyone is friendly and fun. Unfortunately, our short vacation was over too quickly. We'll be back.

The ambiance is really nice. The service was quick and friendly. We had schnitzel with broccoli and fries. The schnitzel and vegetables were delicious, but the simplest thing, like the fries, was undercooked and unseasoned. We mentioned it, and the waiter immediately said, "Yes, the fries are soggy!" What a shame!!! No concessions, like a small shot on the house, etc.

Four of us had lunch at this restaurant. Exorbitant prices for poor quality food (canned mushrooms, frozen potato pancakes, schnitzel with soggy breading, baked potatoes that were more boiled than baked). We waited about 50 minutes. Much room for improvement!

Top tip: the schnitzel and aspic were delicious, and the drinks were delicious too! Keep up the good work!

Since we were here years ago and had very good experiences back then, we wanted to test whether it was still worth coming here. We were here last Wednesday at lunchtime and had free choice of seats. Despite the nice weather, we opted for a table indoors. It's very quaint here. The two gentlemen from the service greeted us friendly. We quickly had the drinks and menus in our hands. We chose two non-alcoholic drinks and homemade brawn with fried potatoes and pork schnitzel with broccoli and fried potatoes. We received the drinks quickly. The food was served in a reasonable time and appealed to us visually. The brawn was definitely homemade. What was nice was that there was just a  small dollop of tartar sauce. The schnitzel was convincing. The broccoli wasn't quite hot. The fried potatoes were awesome in a positive sense. We haven't had fried potatoes this good in a long time. Nice and crispy, not burnt, not greasy, a little bacon. The prices are absolutely fine. The order at the counter bothered me a little. Maybe something could be improved, even if the space is very limited.

Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The ragout fin tasted like it came from a can, and the other dishes were also only lukewarm and were very reminiscent of ready meals. Maybe it was the low season, but I expected much more for the price. The only bright spot was the friendly service, which is why I give it stars. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant

Ambience great! You're basically sitting in a rock and can eat there and sit with your loved ones! However, the food and the prices - that's not possible! The four of us had a bill of around €86. The seasoned meat we had was ready-made, which you can just as easily buy in the freezer and paid €10 for it. My onion steak for €18.50 was a dry steak with a few onions on it and potato wedges (also from the bag) as a side dish. Unfortunately, I wasn't even asked if I wanted mayo or ketchup or something similar. My friends didn't fare any better either. The broccoli noodle casserole was swimming in a warm milk sauce (unseasoned) and the chicken noodle pan wasn't any better and the chicken was too cooked. We also had the pork knuckle, which was initially good on the outside, but the meat became increasingly red on the inside. It's actually a real shame when you consider what a lovely ambience you're offered. However, the price-performance ratio of the food is not right at all and that's why there are so few stars..

We had a schnitzel with mushroom cream and the pepper steak. Schnitzel and sauce were very tasty, although I think the sauce came from a bag The pepper steak lived up to its name. 😃 Prices are okay. The service was friendly and accommodating. The meal took a little longer, but was still within the limits. The ambience is very nice. A small, fine restaurant with a vaulted cellar.

A pepper steak that absolutely lives up to its name. Delicious! The restaurant itself is worth seeing and experiencing from the building. Friendly staff and owner. Pre-order or early inquiry is absolutely necessary. The small inn is in high demand and places (around 20) are limited.

Rustic restaurant with dining room from the 14th century. carved out of the sandstone. There are drawbacks for the slightly musty smell in the dining room, sour mushroom sauce and an inappropriately political doormat.

Sweet little restaurant. Very nice and quick service. The food was good. We had nothing to complain about except that my Ragu Fin probably came from a can. Just like I like to warm myself up at home 🤔 The fried potatoes were super tasty and really crispy, great. The brawn was a bit too sour for us. Of course, that's a matter of taste. The schnitzel on a bed of potatoes not only looked really tasty at the next table, but our table neighbor also really liked it. I will also order this on our next visit 😊

Stopped there on a motorcycle tour to Oybin. The food was great and the staff/owners were super nice and friendly. We were able to store our helmets there while we were visiting the monastery. Great, thanks again for that.

Nice restaurant. Unfortunately, I had to watch my companions eat for 20 minutes - because the senior portion of onion steak €17.40 consisted of 2 strips of very thin pork - no trace of a piece of steak. 5 bites, seemed like leftover pieces of a regular schnitzel. The accompaniments had made the better choice with their choice of mushroom schnitzel (senior portion, €17.40) and plate rosti/potato pancakes (regular portion, €17.40), with a significantly thicker and larger piece of meat, and were able to enjoy it for 20 minutes longer. I have never experienced such clearly unequal meal times. It's about the price-performance ratio and the joy of enjoying food together, which was completely taken away from me.

The ragoufin was out of a can, just horrible, I gave it back as it was and refused to pay for it. Röstis were also only frozen goods. How can you continue to offer this even though it has already been criticized by others?

Went on vacation in Oybin over New Year's Eve and ended up in this rustic, beautiful restaurant one evening. Super tasty food (rösti with schnitzel and mushrooms 😋😋😋) and nice/funny service. If I'm in Oybin again, I'll definitely come back! Keep it up!!

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top! Das Essen war super lecker weshalb wir auch öfter schon hingefahren sind.

Wer Dosenwürzfleisch mag und Zitronen die zum nächsten Teller gereicht werden, bitte! Es gab tatsächlich Würzfleisch aus der Dose. Ich wollte es erst beim Essen nicht glauben, dass sich das ein Restaurant erlauben würde, aber als ich auf Toilette bin, konnte ich in die Küche schauen und dort stand die Dose. Meine Zitrone für das Würzfleisch hatte noch Reste vom (vermutlich) Teller davor dran! Es gibt 2 Sterne weil der Service (obwohl sehr lange Wartezeit) sehr nett war und das Ambiente sehr schön!

Das Gasthaus ist wirklich sehr schön & urig. Es versprüht viel Charme & lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das einzige was uns am Ambiente störte war die Radio Beschallung im Hintergrund inkl. Werbung… Der Service war bemüht & freundlich. Was wir leider sehr zu bemängeln haben ist die Qualität des Essens. Denn auch wenn es größtenteils bekömmlich war, hat man doch deutlich gemerkt, dass viele Fertigprodukte genutzt wurden & eben nicht, wie auf der Karte angepriesen, frisch zubereitet wurden. Das hat man leider auch gemerkt, als wir aufgrund der Zöliakie Erkrankung meiner Freundin nach den Inhaltsstoffen der Soße fragen mussten & uns daraufhin gesagt wurde, dass auf der „Verpackung“ kein Getreidemehl steht. Auch meine Haxe war definitiv nicht frisch zubereitet. Es fehlte an der zwingend erforderlichen Kruste & die geleeartige Konsistenz hat schnell klar gemacht, dass diese Haxe nicht frisch zubereitet wurde. Schade. Leider hat die Küche nicht gehalten, was das tolle Ambiente versprach. Deswegen nur wohl gemeinte 3 von 5 Sternen. In Zukunft können wir nur empfehlen das Radio aus zu lassen & passende Musik zum Flair des Ambientes zu wählen. Außerdem wäre der Laden gut beraten das „Frischekonzept“ zu überdenken.
