The noodlemaker in Wiesbaden

I go there and eat it sometimes, and the Ranjou ramen was edible even if it was a little salty, but the other bibim noodles were too salty even if they were salty. I think it was pickled with salt. When ordering, you should ask for it not to be salty in advance. Normally the young people were friendly, but the older woman I saw for the first time was very unfriendly. I think they only smile at customers they know. Before you see the taste, let's talk about the taste before the end.

The food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have a reservation and were still warmly welcomed. My food could have just been a little more seasoned and a few more vegetables would have been great. But that's the only thing I consider "negative".

Two stars for the ambiance, the rest not a good value for the money. Service slow, the kitchen passed late that one of the ordered dishes was sold out. Meanwhile, the rest sat on the counter waiting until the server would bring it out together. 4€ for a cup of jasmine tea, asked for hot water to top of the small glass, the charge for that is another €1. I won't be returning for awhile.

I went there on a recommendation and unfortunately I have to say nothing really blew me away. You had to wipe the table first so as not to get your clothes dirty. The skewers were completely over-seasoned, so much so that I had to scrape down the dry spices to see the very dry beef on the skewer. The edamame were quickly partially warmed up in the microwave, there were a few warm ones to be found among the ice cold ones!! The main course - ramen - was hard to beat in terms of lack of imagination and the bok choy that was brought in was unwashed and raw. The iced tea came from a 1.5 liter plastic bottle (when asked, it was declared fresh). The sluggish service staff was completely uninterested in criticism. Well, you become smart from experience. I cannot and will not recommend this restaurant.

There were four of us eating there and someone warned us that she didn't like the food. But 4.6 stars as a review attracted us. Unfortunately a disappointment. We had several side dishes, fried rice, two noodle dishes and meat kebabs. UNFORTUNATELY NOTHING WAS DELICIOUS! Noodle extremely oily and strange flavors. But we seem to be the exception with 2 stars. But as our daughter said “Every Asian snack is better”… I would say that too now.

Very tasty dishes, great selection and interesting concept. We were super happy with the food and the friendly service. The chili oil that is on the tables also tastes particularly great.

Worst Asian in a long time. Sticky tables. Dirty window panes to the kitchen. Noodles totally oily and bland. Far too expensive for that. Not recommended.

The food has been greatly improved since we last visited. However, we waited for a long time until we were asked to order though the guests came after us were offered to order before us. However, the male waiter was very friendly, delightful and devoted. We were not asked how the food was though. Nice atmosphere and ambience. There was something wrong with the speaker. Sometimes it was very silent and suddenly very loud.

I have been coming here regularly since this place has opened. The noodles are always nice and bouncy. All the La-mian soup dishes are delicious and even the dry noodles with lamb is really tasty. I haven’t had a bad experience here. The service is polite, quick, and food is consistently good. RECENTLY, they added liang pi!! I used to have liang pi when I lived in NY and this place hits that craving. It is a vegetarian Chinese cold noodle dish that is packed with flavor! It isn’t 100% legit, but it is still yummy! It’s hard to get good Asian food in Germany, so for Germany— this liang pi is definitely a winner! I ordered two dishes of the liang pi because it looked “small.” The reality is that it’s probably the same amount of noodles as the soup dishes, except it’s not swimming in soup. One order of the liang pi and an appetizer will be good enough to fill someone up!

It was our first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere and service were delightful. We ordered 2 different soups, which were really delicious until … we both experienced food poisoning around 1h after leaving the restaurant. I’m really shocked as the food tasted great. We had different dishes but the noodles seemed to be the same so I’m guessing that was the problem. I’ve tried to contact the restaurant about the issue, before writing the review, but unfortunately I was ignored. Thus I’m forced to publish a bad review of the restaurant. Shame..

I went there on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. We were welcomed in a friendly and smiling manner. We hadn't made a reservation beforehand, but we still got a great spot. In retrospect, the service decreased a bit as soon as there was more going on; we were basically forgotten. Nevertheless, the food was super tasty, super fresh. The selection isn't big but it's still good. You can decide which noodles you want, from extra fine to thick. There is something for everyone. Otherwise, I also found the location nice, with traditional/modern furnishings. Very interesting.

Was there with my friend. It was great! Incredibly beautiful decor, while you wait for your food you can watch the noodles being made. The food arrived incredibly quickly and was incredibly tasty. The side dishes are also very good. The food is very nicely prepared. If you don't manage to do it all, the rest will be packed up for you to take with you. Great price! Definitely a recommendation!

Three of us went for dinner this afternoon. The first portion came 12 minutes before the other two portions. A side dish for the first portion came about 15 minutes after the main course. There were hardly any guests there, so it couldn't have been due to stress. Far too expensive for the mini portions of the side dishes and skewers. 7.50 euros for approx. 50 grams of meat. There was a lot of dirt under the tables.

The freshly made pasta is an absolute delight and the sauce is incredibly flavorful. I think it's particularly good that you can choose your favorite pasta for each dish, with something for every taste. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, ideal for a relaxing evening. If you like Asian cuisine, you should definitely stop by here. The only minor point of criticism: the service isn't quite as good as we would have liked.

Absolutely delicious! They also allowed us to bring in our pup who is a shepherd but he is well behaved and just laid there but it was super kind! I think about this place all the time but I’m 2 hours away but next time I’m in Wiesbaden I’ll be back here! The hand pulled noodles are just phenomal

The best Lumian and noodle soup in town. Modern furnishings, always very fast service and very nice.

The homemade noodles were simply amazing. The dishes seemed quite Chinese to me, even though I've never been there myself. Nevertheless, the mixture of noodles and vegetarian toppings and meat tasted very good. Criticism: I found some of it very oily.

Disappointed at best. The broth was overly salty, all we could taste was salt in both our dishes. The skewers tasted good, but they arrived cold, somehow colder than room temperature. But the worst thing was the noodle dough. The chefs clearly had the skills to hand pull the dough into noodles, but the consistency once cooked was absolutely not what real Chinese hand pulled noodles have. Will not be back.

Nice restaurant, well decorated and adapted for children. Huge portion of noodles. Good quality noodles. Not a lot of quantity of other ingredients except the noodles. We would have preferred less noodles and a bit more quantity of other ingredients. Overall a good address!

The restaurant really surprised me positively during my visit. It's located in a shopping center near the train station, which makes it particularly convenient if you're looking for a quick, yet quality bite. Despite its location in a busy shopping center, the restaurant offers a welcoming and modern ambience that invites you to linger. The furnishings are simple yet stylish, creating a pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The menu is diverse and offers an impressive selection of dishes, which made it difficult for us to decide. For this reason, in addition to the two main courses we originally planned to order, we treated ourselves to an additional dish to try more of the cuisine. The noodle soups that the restaurant is known for were well seasoned and the broth was very flavorful, but I personally liked the dishes with the various sauces even more. The combination of tender meat and rich, balanced sauces was a particular highlight and exceeded my expectations. What particularly sets “Das Nudelding” apart for me is the excellent price-performance ratio. The portions are generous and the quality of the ingredients and the careful preparation are clearly noticeable. You really get a lot for the prices quoted here, and you can tell that the emphasis here is on fresh and authentic ingredients.

2 stars for the friendly service and the ambience. However, a restaurant must be convincing in terms of taste. My pasta was soaked in butter, it wasn't tasty.

I've been here many times and the noodles are delicious, chewy and plentiful. The side dishes are also delicious, the fried tofu and mutton skewers are must-orders every time. In the shopping mall, there is air conditioning and the dining environment is very good and spacious. I also like the attitude of the waiter. Crush Flan's shop in all directions.

The pasta is fresh and is produced by hand in a “glass kitchen” in front of the guests. We have always received our food very quickly and always enjoy eating there after a long train journey. For us, the food is typically northern Chinese.

Perfect service, very tasty food. Small children's meal on request. The homemade iced tea is highly recommended.

An unexpectedly authentic restaurant located in a shopping mall near the main station, offering good service, though it can be a bit slow at times. The menu is small but features a nice selection of dishes, with a wide variety of noodle types. You can even watch the chef hand-pull the noodles behind the counter. As for the taste, I tried the Mala Lamian, which was very spicy but, unfortunately, a bit bland. The Bok Choy was not well-prepared, as it still had some stalk/stem. My friend had the Youpo Lamian, which we both highly recommend, especially for garlic lovers.

I am a pasta and noodle lover . I have tried many restaurants across the world and always look for fresh made pasta/noodles.. This noodle bar is a go to. My favourite dish is „youpo noodle”. Great environment , very helpful staff. Especially the guy who runs the place.

I always enjoyed going there for dinner with my eight-year-old son. We were also very satisfied except for my last visit. As you can see in the picture, there was a piece of hair in my food. At first I thought maybe it was my hair but it was firmly grown into homemade pasta. They were very nice and immediately brought me something new and didn't charge me for my food. Very charming, as it should be, but it would be nice if a little more attention was paid to hygiene when preparing the pasta. I'm in despair as to whether I'll eat there again! Definitely 5 star quality but 1 star deducted for that reason. Sorry Noodlemaker 🙏

This is a very pretty place with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and rich with flavor. The portions are generous, making the prices very reasonable. The handmade noodles were a highlight, and you can even see them being prepared. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. Additionally, the staff was very accommodating; the lady working there was kind enough to let us leave our food and pick it up later. Highly recommended!

The soups take some getting used to, some people would like the soups a lot, others not so much. Unfortunately there is very little choice when it comes to soups, which disappoints me a bit as all the soups taste very similar and unfortunately it's not my taste. The service is lacking, the main thing is to bring the food and leave quickly. We didn't even hear a “bon appetit”. So you can still work on the friendliness a little, a smile is absolutely enough, I personally don't expect much, but you see a smile more often from the chefs than from the service. The ambience is really nice. Enough space, a nice restaurant and peace is what you get here, but in my opinion the LED lights fit into a rather older restaurant. In my opinion, the outside shows more than what you get here. It's a shame, although I have to say that I haven't tried the wok dishes yet. Overall, I would rate my visit to Noodlemaker as a mediocre experience.

There is a waitress in the store who has a really bad face. It affects my mood when eating. Many classmates and friends who went there were scared away by her, so I didn’t go. If you are not a relative of the store, I suggest you quit. It will affect the business in the long run.

The food there is a matter of taste... Service was very good at first, but when we wanted to pay we had to be persistent with the staff. The ambience and furnishings are great for the location in the shopping center.

Not a very pleasant experience. Service was nice, quick amd very kind but food was far away from good. Vacuum noodles, very greasy and with almost no flavour. Very disappointing.

Went there this afternoon and the store wasn't very busy. Unfortunately I can't say much about the service because it wasn't noticed either positively or negatively. The atmosphere is very nice but a bit older. But actually very well furnished. However, the food is super tasty and I can only recommend it. I would come back for that at any time.

Great dishes and super nice service! In this restaurant, customers come first. If there is (very rarely) something to complain about, it will be taken care of immediately. The different types of noodles ensure that there is something for everyone✨ I love the Lamian wok! I can also recommend the crispy tofu. I hope the restaurant stays with us for a long time🫶🏽

Been going since they opened. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The spicy noodle soup is the star but the fried rice is also surprisingly good.

We had freshly "pulled" pasta, which was served with a finely balanced taste and fresh ingredients.

First Service lady was a bit strange when I asked for the noodle without meat because my friend is vegetarian and we wanted to share the dish. At the end I ordered it for myself with meat and I regretted it. Taste was flat and plain. The noodles was just a chunky piece and try. My friend ordered the vegetarian noodles with the garlic sauce. It was good but nothing special to be honest. Also very chunky. At the end I didn’t eat my noodles at all. I was not asked by the service if everything was ok, since my bowl was untouched. So we didn’t tip as well. Therefore we were treated accordingly :(

The service was unorganized. They sit people but do not remember the order of seating and served patrons out of order leading to long wait periods for some.

Located right next to the Wiesbaden train station, open on Sundays, credit card friendly. Impromptu Sunday evening visit, no reservation, 4 people immediately seated. Ordered Mala Lamian and added shrimp, portion was bigger than expected, perfect amount of spicy, blown away by the noodles! Highly recommend!!

I had their spicy beef soup with standard noodles and it was awesome! The broth was delicious and I paired it with their skewers. I cannot remember the name of either of the options off the top of my head, but I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. I think it was the Lamian? Their hot tea is also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful when I asked about the menu.

Unfortunately the waitress was busy with everything except the service. The food was cold, unseasoned and really bad. The prices are high for that. Never again.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. We were greeted, shown to the table and we didn't get any cards, so we had to swipe them using the QR code ourselves. Several waitresses walked past our table several times without saying a word and without even looking at us. The tables next to us and around us, as well as customers who arrived much later than us, were already being served. We sat there for 30 to 45 minutes without ever being served, hoping that someone would come. When no one came after 40 minutes, we left again. So I have no idea whether and what tastes good there or not. Anyway, bad service. They probably didn't even notice we left.

It's still the original team of Flan, and the noodle chef is still the best. Unfortunately, the noodles are a bit lumpy. It feels like it's made first and then left in the refrigerator for some time. It's not really made on the spot. The girl who delivered the drinks was probably tired, so she said it was a blessing in front of us, but I didn’t seem to know her very well...

The food was good and the portions are big (most likely you will not be able to finish it), however it took a while, was very loud, and quiet costly.

Noodles were good, service was good.

We ate there for the first time today. We walked in and weren't greeted. We then got the menu ourselves. We waited quite a long time until someone came to us and took the order (before that they often walked past us without reacting). The lamb skewers were very tasty. The rest was very tasteless and not worth the price. When we paid, the waitress walked from table to table without saying a word. We won't come again.

Overall good average. The noodles were good, the meat is not of the highest quality. Service was nice, but not always intuitive. Okay for a lunch break...but nothing more.

Lieblingsnudeln in Wiesbaden. Ich liebe dieses Restaurant! Die Nudeln hier (ich nehme immer die Nummer 8, vegetarische Nudeln) sind unglaublich lecker Von den Portionen wird man auch vollkommen satt! Service ist auch gut Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, wenn ihr am Hbf seid.

Die Ambiente ist schön, Bedienung sehr höflich und das Essen schmeckt unglaublich gut.

Einfach zu lecker klare Empfehlung:)
