It's a great place, the food is delicious, and the staff of Asian origin were always friendly. But this time we encountered different employees – their behavior was terrible. They didn't come to our table at all, were rude, and gave us a very unpleasant welcome. We always enjoyed coming here, but it's a shame they've hired some incompetent people now. We'll never be back.

The food was simply amazing – every dish tasted fantastic, and you could tell that it was cooked with a lot of love. The service was also excellent: super friendly, attentive, and yet relaxed, making you feel right at home. What we especially appreciated was the wide variety of dishes, ensuring there was something for everyone.

Hospitality is an absolute disaster! Today I placed my second delivery order with Noodlemaker, and both times it was a complete catastrophe. The first time, through Uber Eats, the food arrived massively late, one of the four main courses was missing, and one of the appetizers arrived with a tiny portion, not even the size of my palm. My attempt to complain by phone failed because no one spoke German or even English. Two years later, I wanted to try again through Lieferando. After the promised delivery time had passed, I checked the app and was shocked to see another 40 minutes of delay. I immediately called Noodlemaker. This time, the person I spoke spoke reasonably good German, but the customer service was a disaster. They said my food was already ready, but no driver had come. When I asked them to cancel the order, they laughed and told me I'd have to take care of it myself. They couldn't even tell me if I would still receive the food. I then said that it would be cold anyway: he didn't care and that wasn't his problem. I asked him if he always treated his guests like that and that I had a different idea of ​​what hospitality meant, to which he replied that I wasn't his guest, but rather Lieferando's customer. I pointed out that I was also a customer on-site and that, as a restaurant owner, he should actually be concerned about customer satisfaction. He then told me again that I should take care of it myself, that he had to leave, and ended the conversation. I'm sorry, Noodlemaker, but that's really about the worst kind of hospitality I've ever experienced. The food was always really delicious before, but they won't be seeing me again. Such unprofessional behavior...unbelievable! Actually, after the hygiene problems communicated in the consumer window, I shouldn't have ordered from there at all; this was a lesson learned.

Not the first time here. Even though I stay at a different city, I still visit this place very often in the winter time. Nothing can compare with the warm noddlesoup in the winter:) the taste is original without try to match westerners taste;)

The place was large, but the noodles didn't seem to have much flavor. The restaurant wasn't full, but the ordering process was incredibly slow. The waiters didn't interact with us at all and wouldn't say a word more than necessary.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the environment was clean and well-organized. I was satisfied with the service, and the dishes came in quite large portions. It was my first time trying this particular dish; while it wasn’t exactly to my taste, I really appreciated the fact that the noodles were handmade and the dish had a fresh flavor.

I always order Lu Lamian (vegan), noodles in broth with (what feels like a measured amount) potatoes, cauliflower, wood ear mushrooms, tofu, and carrots – unfortunately, the amount of tofu is very small compared to the other vegetables. I'd prefer fewer noodles, but consistently four pieces of tofu instead of one or two. Sometimes the broth is also very salty, and other times it's very mushy.

The food was not really my taste, but asides from that it's okay.

The place was clean. Noodle and soup were authentic, and it felt just right to have hot soup when it was 2C outside. Service was not that quick, although they did not have a full-house. I was left waiting at the table for more than 5 minutes until menu was provided. No one took my order until almost 10 mins after. However, the food came out quickly.

The ambiance and the food are good and met my expectations. However, I have found the service to be very poor on several occasions. The staff are not very attentive. Furthermore, after I've been asked to find a seat, I'm arbitrarily moved without any explanation. Then, other people are allowed to sit at the table where I had been sitting. It wasn't reserved. I have to ask for help far too often before I'm served.

The food was delicious and tasted very similar to what you'd find in China. So, if you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, this is the place for you (I was in Xi'an this year, and you can find these dishes everywhere on the street there). There's a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options.

The noodles were delicious, I'll add a star! But the service was really strange. When the restaurant was still quite empty, we were immediately berated by a server as soon as we entered. She yelled, "How could you just walk in like that?!" "You'll upset the foreigners!" "Don't you see the sign outside?!" We were completely confused, wondering what we had done. Then we saw two foreign customers standing at the door, looking around. Oh, they were two "foreign" customers waiting in line. Let me ask you this: 1) With the restaurant so empty, who would have thought those two were waiting in line? 2) Since you're personally greeting the guests, why didn't you do your job properly? Chatting with the chef neglected the customers, leaving them standing there unsure what to do. 3) The two foreigners didn't say anything, yet this server immediately started yelling at us, accusing us of upsetting them. 4) After talking to other staff, we learned that your restaurant has many "uncivilized" Chinese customers who like to cut in line, upsetting foreigners and damaging the image of Chinese people. Have you ever considered that perhaps there's something wrong with how you've placed your signs? When there aren't many people in the store, who would expect to have to queue? Many restaurants have customers who come in and find a seat themselves. Are you just assuming that all Chinese people like to cut in line?

A restaurant that's very friendly to foreigners but arrogant towards Chinese people. Those who know, know. :)

Delicious! The price is reasonable too, just over 20 RMB per person. First time here, ordered the dishes shown in the picture. The pickled bean curd sheets were the best I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant in Germany. Perfectly soaked and mixed, with just the right amount of saltiness. A perfect side dish (Düsseldorf's Zhuge Grilled Fish should definitely learn from this!). The beef noodles tasted exactly like beef noodles. The oil-splashed noodles would be even more appetizing with a little vinegar (personal preference). The braised egg wasn't cracked open, so it was a bit bland. The roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was amazing! Full of braised flavor without being too salty, you could taste the meat and the braised sauce. The meat had skin, meat, and tendons, and the taste and texture were just like in China. Unfortunately, the small flatbread was too chewy; I had slightly weak teeth and couldn't bite it a bit. Even so, I could eat here every day.

I love the selection of handmade noodles – just my taste! My kids especially enjoy sitting at the front of the glass wall and watching the noodles being freshly prepared. Great concept, superb quality, and a lovely atmosphere – highly recommended!

The best Chinese noodle restaurant in Germany, and even Europe. The taste, ambiance, and service are all top-notch. The chefs in the central kitchen hand-pull the noodles. The flavor is authentic, and I love the broth! The prices are reasonable, but the atmosphere is elegant and quiet. ❤️ Highly recommended 👍👍 (The owner is also very handsome ☺️). Side note: I've seen some European reviews that are quite unfair: these noodles don't come with any vegetables. If you want the kind with carrots and broccoli—sorry, that's not authentic Lanzhou ramen.

The food was delicious, but the service was extremely unfriendly. Very pushy. She came to take the check while we were still eating. I was still chewing my food and was asked to pay. After I pointed out that I was still eating, she still stood at the table and watched me chew. A terrible experience!

The noodle soups are delicious and authentic. Unfortunately, the fried noodles with shrimp were almost unseasoned and far too oily. The service was very attentive, and the restaurant is child-friendly. So, if you stick to the soups, this restaurant is a good choice.

Their ramen is really delicious. I've been eating there for a few years and I can say it tastes better than many ramen restaurants in China. I highly recommend the standard beef noodles or spicy beef noodles. The chef's hand-pulled noodles are very tasty and even the soup is delicious. I've seen the price go up from 11 to 13 per bowl. 😭 But compared to their side dishes, they taste just average.

We ordered two noodle dishes and the cucumber salad via Uber Eats. The Lamian wok with beef tasted like a neutral oil. The Chinese Bolognese was also rather mediocre and tasted like a pre-made seasoning mix. The cucumber salad was delicious, but too expensive. I really wish I could write a better review.

Unfortunately, this restaurant's service is very slow, even for Germany standards. The beef skewers were dry and chewy, the mushroom skewers were undercooked. Over 30 minutes to order for our party of 3 is unacceptable. The potential for being exceptional is there but the service was below standard.

I like that more and more Lamian restaurants are opening, and The Noodlemaker is definitely among the top. During my visit, it wasn't busy, so there was plenty of space, it was very quiet, and I was able to sit by the window. The food arrived very quickly and was exactly as expected, with a very diverse flavor, unlike many other restaurants, yet still familiar if you've indulged in Chinese cuisine outside of buffet Asian restaurants. (Nothing against buffet temples, they're just unfortunately very one-sided.) What I really like is that you can choose the type of noodle you want to go with your noodle dishes, and extras are also readily available. The menu offers a lot of variety, and you can decide whether you want to enjoy a special, a large main course, or many smaller side dishes. I opted for a mix and had absolutely no regrets; the fried tomatoes may sound simple, but they're guaranteed to explode with flavor in your mouth. All of this was rounded off by friendly service, very quick and courteous, as well as a not too intrusive ambiance, which takes you away from your everyday life for a moment.

There are four adults and two children in our group. We ordered two bowls of braised beef noodles, one bowl of Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles, and a few small dishes. The braised beef was very tender and delicious, and the preserved tofu was tasty too. It was amazing—we’ll definitely come back next time!

Holy crap, we have tried so many noodle shops in germany and the states. It's not a michelin star restaurant but damn does it have the best noodles we've ever had so far. I've been going there on and off for years, and I've ordered from there several times. The quality and uniqueness of this restaurant continue to impress.

I love this place so much. First, the atmosphere. I love how spacious and cozy it is, especialy when you can people watch from the full glass windows overlooking the ground floor of the mall. Secondly, the food. I tried several dishes, but I love their Youpo Lamian (with 3D noodle) with beef the most. My second favorite is their newly limited spicy beef noodle soup. I hope they make this dish permanent to the menu. Also in 3D noodle. I tried their other noodle types but 3D suits me the best because it has some interesting texture and bite to it. The noodle soup is not the best I’ve tried in my life, but the beef inside the soup is amongst the most tender it can get. But the Youpo lamian is better than other dry lamians I’ve tried. I also especially love how affordable the food is yet one portion can fit almost 2 people.

If I could give zero stars, you would have gotten them. Don't go there. Never again... the very last straw. According to the Lieferando website, you get your money back from the store where you ordered if you return the item. See photos. Noodlemaker Wiesbaden should do more research before using a service.

I opted for the Chinese Bolognese, but unfortunately, it was served without potatoes and cucumbers. The server also didn't ask me which type of noodle I'd like. The portion was okay, but I was hoping for a bit more. When the server finally arrived, I tipped her at the end, but she didn't say "thank you." She pocketed it without a word. At that moment, I regretted tipping her. Therefore, it was my first and last time there.

Very disappointing. The waitress hardly spoke any sensible German sentences, only a single word, and only answered “yes” or “no”. Important questions about allergens such as gluten or glutamate were not understood. Food full of flavor enhancers, hardly eaten. No apology or demand. just quietly cashed in In addition, the round table smelled strongly of fresh paint, which was very unpleasant. Unfortunately not recommended.

Super delicious food at fair prices. There were four of us here and we all ordered something different. Various varieties made in-house, mostly as a soup. Sometimes with meat, sometimes vegetarian. We were all thrilled. The food looks very tasty in the beautiful Asian bowls. And it tastes the same too. I had wok noodles in a soup with beef, slightly spicy. Cost just under €15. The portion was enough to fill you up. There is nothing to complain about in terms of service.

Was visiting Wiesbaden and went to The Noodlemaker for lunch because of the wok menu offered. Did not like the experience much. Beef wok did not taste like a dish prepared in the wok at all. Plain noodles, little meat, raw vegetables, almost no sauce. My friends ordered two beers among other things. They got a short instead of tall for one. And had to remind twice before they got the second one.

Tried the Lanzhou noodles — authentic and tasty.

Great variety of noodle dishes. I had the Mala Lamian — spicy but flavorful, just the way I like it. The beef was tender and the pak choi added a nice crunch.

If you're into dry noodles, try the Youpo Lamian! Wide, chewy noodles with garlic and chili oil — so simple yet so addictive.

The Noodlemaker in Wiesbaden is simply great! The dishes are incredibly tasty, freshly prepared and the portions are more than generous. The homemade pasta in particular is a real highlight – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is modern and cozy. If you love Asian cuisine, you should definitely stop by here. Absolute recommendation!

A lovely restaurant with a great idea. Unfortunately, the appetizer was an overcooked, brown, tasteless egg, extremely sweet fried tomatoes (should it be like that), and poorly prepared gyjos. I wouldn't recommend the noodle soup. The noodles were tasty, but unfortunately, the noodles were just wobbly and flavorless. The service was very friendly, though. It was nice to be able to watch the noodles being prepared.
