The food was delicious. The buffet was promptly replenished, so there was always plenty to go around. The chocolate fountain was a big hit with the kids. And the tiramisu (with alcohol) was absolutely delicious, in my opinion. The service was always attentive. Plates were cleared promptly, and we were frequently asked if we needed anything else.

We chose this restaurant after visiting a Christmas market. We hadn't made a reservation and politely asked if they had room for three people. The response was a very direct "Come in here!" And we were immediately led from the reception desk into what looked like a storage room. Since this didn't meet our expectations for a cozy restaurant experience, we left after a quick look around.

A great place for those who appreciate a wide selection and an all-you-can-eat menu. The price was €24, and for that you can try a huge variety of dishes: shrimp, mussels, squid, salmon, rolls, sushi, meat, and a huge charcoal-Chinese grill where the chef cooks everything right in front of you. The dishes are constantly updated, the food is fresh, and the seafood was a particular delight. The staff is very polite, plates are cleared quickly, and the service is attentive. The interior is beautiful, with lots of decorative elements, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Drinks are not free, but the selection is good. Overall, the restaurant left a very positive impression – a great place for a family dinner or a group meal. I think I'll be back!

We went to the Chinakrone restaurant in the evening and left completely satisfied – so satisfied, in fact, that I immediately felt compelled to write a review. From the moment you walk in, you get the feeling that a well-coordinated team is at work: friendly, attentive, and organized – and despite the full tables, nothing feels hectic or chaotic. This is exactly how you want a relaxed restaurant visit in the evening. The absolute highlight for me is undoubtedly the large, abundant buffet. And by that, I don't mean "just okay, you can find something," but a truly impressive selection where you immediately realize that they've made sure everyone finds something they like – whether you prefer classic dishes, are adventurous eaters, or are simply very hungry. The selection of appetizers alone is so extensive that you almost have to restrain yourself to leave room for the rest. From crisp salads and a variety of small bites and finger foods to typical Asian appetizers – everything looks fresh, is neatly presented, and is constantly replenished, so the buffet doesn't look "empty" even later in the evening. The same high standard continues with the main courses: many different dishes, various sauces, and different meat and vegetable options – and not just seasoned the same, but truly diverse. I especially appreciated that everything was at a pleasant temperature, the food was cleanly arranged, and you could tell that regular checks were being made. This might sound like a small detail, but at a buffet, it makes a huge difference between "mass catering" and "we're making an effort." The grill station is also really cool: you can select raw meat directly from the buffet and hand it over to be freshly grilled. This is not only delicious but also adds a bit of an experience to the whole evening. I love this combination of a "sample buffet" and "freshly grilled to order" because it offers both variety and freshness. Our grilled food was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had that typical grilled flavor you'd expect. And then there's another element that made the visit truly special: the serving robots! Yes, you read that right – robots bring your grilled food to your table. It's not only convenient but also kind of funny and simply fun, especially the first time you experience it. Despite this, it doesn't feel like a show replacing the service, but rather a modern addition. The staff were still present, friendly, and helpful – the robots simply provide a little "wow" moment and ensure everything arrives quickly. Finally, I have to mention the dessert selection, because it was also excellent. It's not just "a bit of fruit and that's it," but a lovely selection, allowing you to end the evening with something sweet. That's exactly what I like: first something savory and hearty, then something light or sweet – and you can put together everything in small portions without it being too much. All in all: Chinakrone is a top buffet restaurant for me in the evening – a large selection, well-organized, a fresh grill station, friendly service, and then the robots as a modern extra. We felt comfortable, ate well, and would go back without hesitation. Highly recommended!!

For €12, expectations were already low, but were unfortunately still disappointed. The food was reluctantly replenished and some of it even tasted musty. There was no fish in the sushi, the beef dish consisted only of onions, and the chicken was completely misshapen and gristly. The toilet constantly smelled unpleasant, and unfortunately, it's not far from the buffet… no thanks!

Not recommended (and no, I'm not from the competition, which doesn't even exist in Nordenstadt). We hadn't been here in ages, and the price was the first shock. 19 euros for the main course (no. 99) and 7 euros for the inedible summer roll with prawns. I'm happy to pay a bit more if the quality is good... but it wasn't. The summer roll (no. 2) was unseasoned and dry, and the peanut sauce was oversalted and tasted awful. The main course was spicy (it wasn't mentioned on the menu), and the rice was hard and dry... an experience I definitely don't need to repeat.

On Saturday evening, I went to the China-Krone restaurant in Wiesbaden with my family (there were five of us, including a small child), and it was truly the worst experience I've ever had there. I found a large, sharp piece of plastic in my mouth, right in the middle of my food! I immediately stopped eating, took my plate and the piece of plastic straight to the bartender, and wanted to report it. His reaction was unbelievable: he just laughed at me and said, "Well, what am I supposed to do about that?" When I explained that it was dangerous and that I had almost cut my tongue, he just kept laughing. Then he even claimed it wasn't plastic, but fish, even though I don't eat fish and the dish had nothing to do with fish. I have a strong aversion to fish, and it definitely wasn't fish, but a piece of plastic. This wasn't the first time something had gone wrong there. I've given the restaurant several chances: • On my first visit, there was a hair in my food. • The second time, there was suddenly fish in the dish, even though I had explicitly ordered it without fish. • And once, I was even forced to order a drink for my toddler because he had his own water bottle – otherwise, we wouldn't have been allowed to sit there. I was really patient for a long time, but after this weekend's experience, I've finally had enough. When paying, I explained the incident to the waitress, and her "compensation" was a small plastic toy – as if that could make up for the disgust, the danger, and the complete failure of the service. We paid a lot of money, no one was full, and I went home with a bad feeling and a piece of plastic in my hand. In short: Disrespectful treatment of guests, zero sense of responsibility, poor hygiene, and absolutely no customer service. After three bad experiences, all I can say is: Never again! I hope management finally takes such complaints seriously before someone gets seriously harmed.

This was our favorite restaurant for many years, and we celebrated many special occasions there. But after our visit yesterday, I'm very disappointed. The dishes had no flavor other than salt. After the meal, even the cola didn't taste sweet anymore. Why did they do that? Perhaps to encourage people to order more drinks and eat less from the buffet? I suffered from nausea all night. Although I didn't eat that much, I apparently exceeded my salt tolerance many times over. It's a real shame—the food used to be really good here.

We've been enjoying going here for several years now. It's not a fancy Asian restaurant where you can get everything from Korean to Vietnamese and sushi to Chinese, but it's also not a cheap Chinese takeaway. This is an honest, very good Chinese restaurant, ideal for families. There's a small outdoor dining area in the back courtyard, but it's not very romantic. The food is consistently delicious, and for a Chinese restaurant, they serve surprisingly good wine. The service is attentive, fast, and friendly. It's great that you can park in the courtyard. Please note that the restroom is in the basement and therefore not wheelchair accessible.

Large Chinese restaurant! Great buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant itself, however, doesn't have the most cozy charm. It's located right in a shopping area. Plenty of parking is available. Very friendly staff. Plates are cleared quickly, and drink orders are also taken very quickly. A fantastic selection of food (hot, cold, sushi, dessert, etc.). Never again. One star is still too many. We wanted to go there today as a small group of five people to celebrate my mother's 82nd birthday. We were initially very politely invited to our table. As my mother has stomach problems and the buffet isn't worth it for her because she can't eat much, she, like me, opted for an à la carte dish. Not really a problem... We've done that several times in other Chinese restaurants. But apparently that's not allowed here. My mother and I would have had to sit at a different table away from our family because it was apparently not permitted to sit together with the family serving the buffet. I find that absolutely outrageous. I wanted to speak to the manager, but he apparently didn't have time for us. We used to eat at this restaurant with friends once a month, but we will definitely never set foot in this place again.

What was on offer was, with all due respect, a complete disgrace! Not to mention the selection! The food was cold! No matter what you chose... cold! At the "big" dessert buffet, there was nothing to be seen except fruit! The quality and taste of the food were abysmal! The sauces tasted like water with a bit of powder on it! Everything was completely unseasoned and a monotonous mess! When paying, we said it wasn't good and everything was cold! The waiter said, "Then you should have stirred it!" I was a guest at this hotel this week. Highly recommended; I think they have really reasonable breakfast prices and a solid breakfast for that. Dinner in the hotel's own restaurant wasn't great in terms of service on three different evenings. On one occasion, I was overlooked for about 20 minutes; on another, instead of specifically requesting two "more" croquettes, I was served only two croquettes, and I still got the salad I canceled. On the third evening, I specifically asked for more sauce and more croquettes, and I got a completely normal plate, just like the day before... Communication with the wait staff was only semi-professional, as they didn't speak German very well. The food was OK! The swimming pool and especially the sauna area could do with some renovations. It feels dated! It's also dark and gloomy there, at least in the evenings. I also find the fact that the smoking table is right in front of the main entrance and the central area, reception, elevator, and bar, unpleasant for non-smokers. Otherwise, a good hotel! The reception staff was very nice. The online check-in process, advertised by email, didn't work at all! The email complaint received only a one-liner response, with no real solution to the problem.

We had a wonderful time at Chinakrone, a Mongolian-style all-you-can-eat restaurant that offers an incredible variety of dishes. I went there with my family, and we were all impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The concept is fantastic – you can choose from a wide range of meats and fish, including unique options like zebra and kangaroo, and have them freshly cooked right in front of you. There’s also a great selection of Chinese dishes, sushi, and absolutely delicious desserts. Everything we tried was full of flavor, and the food was both fresh and perfectly cooked. It’s the perfect place for family gatherings, where everyone can find something they love. We left full and happy, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!

There's a wide selection, including things I wouldn't have expected in an Asian-Mongolian restaurant, like kangaroo, zebra, shark, and tomato mozzarella. But... It's a huge restaurant and very loud. Depending on where you're seated, you're either far from the buffet or right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The food is brought by robots with "cute" cat faces. We sat farther away with our large group, which means the robot travels longer distances and stops at other tables. If no one is there to take their food from the robot, it stands there forever, and your own food gets cold until the robot finally moves on. Also, other guests reach over or grab the plate to see if it's part of their order. I've seen several times a plate go through several hands before being returned to the robot. That's unappetizing and unhygienic. Unfortunately, you can only order either buffet or à la carte per table. It's a shame if there are seniors or children present who want to eat less. You have to order your barbecue sauce with colorful clips on your plate. The stressed-looking waitress didn't tell us this when we asked, and the clips aren't on the grill either, but on one side of the buffet. So we got completely unseasoned food. There's a lot to choose from, but some of the cooked food is blandly seasoned and overcooked, the salad is blandly presented and tastes bland. Two soups looked sticky, and dessert looked boring, like it came from a discount store; we didn't try either. Ice cream, some of it turquoise-pink, tasted like it came from a bulk pack. We had virtually no service. "Eaten" and full plates were mixed together on the table. However, we weren't checked to see how much we ate, nor were we pressured to tip, as was sometimes stated on Tripadvisor. We've already been to 2-3 Asian-Mongolian restaurants where we enjoyed our food. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case here. We definitely won't be coming back. We only went because the birthday party was taking place here. Otherwise, we either wouldn't have come or would have left immediately. I can only advise against the experience.

The food is plentiful, but there's far too much MSG everywhere. You'll be extremely thirsty for several hours after eating. The good thing is that you can come with larger groups; there's plenty of seating. All-you-can-eat costs €25 per person from Friday to Sunday, and the drinks are a bit overpriced (a 0.4-liter glass costs €3.90). Overall, it's okay for a Chinese restaurant.

July 27, 2025: The Chinakrone should be closed because there was a case of assault, unequal treatment (discrimination), and unhygienic handling of food and groceries. Restaurants like this should have their license to operate their business revoked. June 15, 2025: Another review: We won't be going here again. Servers drive around with cafeteria-style carts to place the cleared dishes on. It has a cafeteria feel. They don't discreetly clear the table, but instead eagerly wait for you to finish your plate so the clearers can clear it. But they're overzealous and wanted to clear a plate that was still being eaten, just because someone was dabbing their mouths with a napkin in between. This created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. At the buffet, I was waiting in line for the chicken curry when a waitress was busy refilling the food, and a blue rag dangled from her hand all the way down into the buffet food. Yuck, how unhygienic. She then waved the rag around the buffet station. Yuck. And as a nice eye-catcher, one of the clearing guys scratched his genitals. Seriously! Not again. The staff urgently needs training in customer service and behavior, as well as hygiene! Here it is from 2024: Everything was fine, but you should stay away from "kimchi." It tasted spoiled to me, and I reported it to the waitress because I also felt a bit sick after eating it. The waitress said that kimchi just tastes like that and you should inform yourself about kimchi beforehand! I found that a bit presumptuous and not customer-friendly. Hello, I felt sick! And I paid 22.90 for the buffet and couldn't clean it out as much as I would have liked. Regarding kimchi, it's a fermented vegetable. But it tasted "sticky and spoiled." That spoiled taste that comes from boiling over oil. No one can tell me that's how it's supposed to be. I once ate spoiled pasta salad, just a forkful, and then spat it out because that spoiled taste of sticky, boiling over oil was just as bad. Whether I'll go there again is questionable.

Barrier-free access, including to the toilets, made it possible for me, as a physically impaired person, to go out to eat with my friends. Unfortunately, when we ordered, the disability-friendliness was over. My friends ordered food from the buffet. Since I can only walk with a walker and can only walk with difficulty and with pain and cannot stand freely, I wanted to order a menu for myself. I got the answer that this wasn't possible because a buffet and menu mixed at one table was not allowed. That was like a slap in the face for me. So having to rely on help again, less independence again. Those responsible for this decision would do well to put themselves in the shoes of someone affected and let humanity prevail over greed for profit. There is certainly a fear that someone who had the menu could unjustifiably have something else brought from the buffet. I can't explain this arrangement any other way. It's a shame that this makes life even more difficult for disabled people...

A few years ago I gave it a 5, it was a different atmosphere and a different menu (much richer). Today I can't give it more than 1 star, because you can see the arrogance of the workers on their faces, when you haven't finished eating yet, there's still 30 minutes until closing and they grab everything off your table, they wash the entire room while there are still customers, as if they were in a hurry to get you out. The food lately leaves a lot to be desired, you give them fried zucchini and you get them literally raw, not to mention that the assortment is very poor. If you come 2 hours before closing, you only eat what's left, they don't refill the sushi, they don't refill the fruit. You pay and you get the impression that you still have to smile at the workers. They even have the nerve to ask you how much tip you want to leave directly, without any hesitation. From a beautiful restaurant, it has become a public catering establishment where it is no longer worth wasting your money and good mood. Ps.: a few months ago, the kitchen was being cleaned, namely the hood was being wiped directly above the products that were being fried. So I was amazed at how the dust fell on top of the food. When we were there, there was a buffet with a very large selection of skewers, including sushi and various dishes from pork to beef to fish. There are also fresh foods, including pork, beef, lamb, and fish, which you can choose and then place on the counter for the chefs. The chefs stir-fry them in a wok, and a robot brings the finished dish to the table. The restrooms could be a bit tidier. The staff is very friendly.

I regularly use Chinakrone via Too Good To Go and am usually very satisfied – the dishes are delicious, filling, and seem freshly prepared. The menu is varied and offers good value for money. I would also like to eat in the restaurant, but unfortunately, we can't bring our dog inside. That's a shame – otherwise, it's really great!

A lovely restaurant that we really enjoyed during our meeting with several friends. I can't say much about the service, as at a buffet you're naturally responsible for your own needs. We were asked for drinks every now and then, so everything was fine. The buffet selection was constantly replenished to meet demand; everything was fine overall. A pleasant three-hour stay.

Yesterday, 06/22/2025, we were celebrating a birthday. Almost everyone was feeling bad in the morning. Diarrhea, vomiting. The child has been vomiting all morning, watery diarrhea, fever. Yesterday, my husband said that it felt like the food was not fresh. And it was very strange that there were few people on Sunday. I want to say that, unfortunately, the restaurant has gone bad. It's a shame. It was our favorite place to celebrate birthdays. Also, the restaurant employee constantly stands and watches you, like in prison, what you eat. This did not happen before and you felt comfortable. But now it is very uncomfortable. Flies fly around the restaurant and land on the food.

We used to enjoy eating here. Unfortunately, dogs have been banned from the restaurant since February 2025. We were escorted to the smoking area in the parking lot. We had to pay by card in advance. When we pointed out that we had only paid inside after our meal, we were told, "We paid by card two years before we ate!" The lady serving was very rude. The buffet food was very limited. The fried food was very greasy, and the sushi tasted absolutely nothing. The breading around the breaded chicken was still raw inside.....pre-made sauces were overly peppery, and the peanut sauce was watered down. All in all, a rather run-down atmosphere.....a real shame; we'd rather spend our money elsewhere in the future.

Today, my girlfriend and I visited the China Krone restaurant in Wiesbaden. We had barely sat down when a waiter came over, took our drink order, and immediately asked us to pay for the buffet and drinks in advance. I politely asked why we couldn't pay at the end as usual. The waiter explained that it had been happening more frequently recently that guests had eaten and left without paying. For this reason, in certain cases, they would collect their bills immediately. We were generally understanding and paid. Shortly afterward, however, more guests arrived at the restaurant. None of them were asked to pay in advance. They could order, eat, and pay as usual. This left a somewhat unpleasant impression on us. We initially planned to talk to the staff about it, as we believe the same rules should apply to everyone—regardless of who you are. Ultimately, however, we decided against it because we were already disappointed with the general treatment and didn't want an unnecessary discussion. We didn't stay long, even though we had paid in full at the beginning. The feeling of being treated unfairly spoiled our appetite. We ate very little and left the restaurant early. The food itself was fine, but the service had a significant impact on our experience. Unfortunately, we didn't feel welcome. A return visit is therefore unlikely. Respect begins with fair and equal treatment of all guests.

Café Sugarbaker is a real little miracle for all lovers of sweets and cozy cafes! I just fell in love with the atmosphere of this place - warm, stylish and very welcoming. Here, every dessert is like a work of art: delicate cakes, fresh pastries and delicious coffee drinks. I especially remember the cheesecake - it melted in your mouth and left a pleasant aftertaste. The staff is very friendly and attentive, thanks to them, the visit became even more enjoyable. This is an ideal place to meet friends or just to pamper yourself after a long day. I will definitely come back here again for a new portion of inspiration and sweet pleasures

It was near the end of the day, so the food wasn't as fresh, and that is entirely understandable. Service was really nice, fast and polite. Food options are not as big as some other buffets, but good all in all, also some very nice tiramisu was part of the dessert options. We had dinner on a Thursday evening I believe and it was not too busy.

The price is ok, considering that it is "all you can eat", but after the sushi trays were emptied, they were not refilled, so basically, you have to eat "what's left". If it's still a buffet, the customer must eat what he likes, not what's left. I can confirm this as I have eaten elsewhere at Chinese and the trays were regularly refilled with food. Unfortunately, for sushi lovers, I can't recommend it.

Disappointing experience when paying - despite good food The two of us went to the China Krone restaurant. The food was mostly good, but unfortunately some of the meat was raw - a clear negative point. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was initially friendly. However, what really marred the entire experience was the behavior when paying. The price of €63 for two people was still okay for the selection on offer. However, we were really harassed when paying. The waitress immediately asked, "What about tips - do we prefer to tip in cash or with a card?" and repeated this question several times in an unpleasant manner. We found this to be intrusive and inappropriate. It's a shame that what was actually a nice evening ended up having a bitter aftertaste due to such unprofessional behavior. We probably won't come again.

Here you are being watched. We were in this restaurant for the second time and had the same experience: actually everything was fine. Price/performance is average, the service staff are friendly. But; I don't understand why the guests here are always watched by an employee. Other guests also noticed this behavior and found it annoying. A man with a black/red T-shirt walks around there, looking at what you're eating. Absolutely terrible.

Good day! I rated the food and service at 4. The last time the sushi looked and tasted not very fresh. In general, the service is good, but there was a problem with the reservation of a table for 7 people - my name was not found on the list. Fortunately, we were given a table after all. As always, the food was extremely diverse and delicious. Especially as an Easter menu. But what annoys me beyond measure, and will also mean that we will no longer visit the restaurant, are the buffet prices for children. There may be some who take full advantage of the offer, but that is probably the minority. The Easter menu was charged €19 for ages 5 and up and the full €29 for ages 11 and up. I just think that's absolutely outrageous, especially since it wasn't possible to eat a la carte. These were the most expensive fries of my life. Therefore an absolute no go in the future.

The food is very tasty, there is a lot to choose from so there is something for everyone, especially when the Mongolian grill is included. The food always appears very fresh. The refills are usually very good, except for the sushi. Unfortunately, these are always sold out very quickly and Petsonal is always busy and I don't think they can keep up with them very well. However, if you ask them nicely, the matter will be investigated and you will get what you want! The staff is generally really nice, except for the ladies who clear the dishes. Unfortunately, they don't understand German, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but you can tell that they aren't exactly happy in their job. The ambience is very large, but nicely decorated and you can still block out the background noise and the many people. The price for the whole thing is completely reasonable. If you come for lunch, the grill is closed on some days but the food is cheaper. Overall, I always enjoy coming back and the staff remembers you or is so confident that it seems 😂 you feel comfortable.

The whole team is so incredibly nice and attentive. A huge compliment here! The ambiance is more reminiscent of an American diner, but everything is clean. As soon as a guest leaves the table, someone immediately comes to clean the table thoroughly, no matter how busy it is. Great! The food tastes good, but not exceptional. I was very disappointed with the peanut sauce, but it could be much better. I found it very bland and the consistency was too thick. The vegetables in my noodles could have fried in the wok for a minute longer, as they were almost raw. I didn't mind the bell pepper as much as I did with the broccoli! But I would like to stress at this point: this is my subjective taste experience. In terms of quality, there was nothing to complain about, and the portion size was enormous.

This evening, on our way back from the Rheingau region, we fancied dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Kaiser Palast has been there for many years and is quite popular. We arrived at 5:30 pm and about 20 minutes later the restaurant was almost full. The spring rolls were delicious, and the main courses were very generous and flavorful. The very friendly service, the ambiance of a classic Chinese restaurant, and the reasonable prices for Wiesbaden make us want to return.

Their ramen is really delicious. I've been eating there for a few years and I can say it tastes better than many ramen restaurants in China. I highly recommend the standard beef noodles or the spicy beef noodles. The hand-pulled noodles are delicious and even the soup is tasty. I've seen the price go up from 11 to 13 per bowl. 😭 But compared to their side dishes, they taste just average.

A great location easy to get to. The food was fresh and tasted really nice I had the number 41 fried rice with veggies and sausage and a guava juice 🥤. The prices are reasonable and the service friendly and helpful.
