Es ist immer wieder ein Genuss, perfektes Essen gepaart mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die Lübecker Altstadt. Ein Service, der heute schwer zu finden ist. Waren rundum zufrieden.

Großartiges Essen, toller Kellner, superlustige Kellnerin - ein phantastischer Abend…Highlight war noch der Kümmelschnaps-Tipp als Absacker….

Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Es hat eine Toplage, einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Lokal, einen sehr netten Service und eine außerordentlich gute Küche. Ich komme auf alle Fälle wieder. ….Mit meinen beiden Hündchen natürlich. 🤗🫶

Very nicely located modern restaurant at the harbor with a great view. Service is great, as is the food, although it's upscale, but it's worth it. The selection of drinks, including cocktails, is very good and also price-wise, with the exception of the wine, which is noticeably overpriced.

A great restaurant with a great view over the museum harbor. Food is top class at fair prices. The children's meals in particular are lavish and very affordable. Great for an evening for two but also very suitable for families.

The Newport is absolutely worth seeing. Sitting in the glass annex is almost like sitting outside. The service is very attentive but not intrusive. A relaxed atmosphere immediately arises. The food is very good and the price-performance ratio is good to very good. What is striking is that there is an attempt throughout to give familiar dishes something new by adding new side dishes and spices. This works extremely well. Of course it's not exactly cheap. But not only in comparison to other restaurants of this quality, overall more than adequate. We have been there twice now and will definitely come back. In addition to the cool harbor atmosphere, the relaxed parking situation also contributes to this. Upate: We have been there several times and have always been thrilled.

Today for the first day of boating in the Newport Marina, I ate a delicious plaice in the restaurant and it was as delicious as always! Thanks to the friendly team, we'll always come back 🥂

The food was good, but there was still room for improvement with the spices. Unfortunately, there were drunk people at the time who were intentionally smoking cigars. Many guests felt harassed. The service didn't intervene. Too bad. Chairs outside are very old. Floor very outside very unkempt.

Vor zwei Jahren waren wir über Licht und Schatten sehr enttäuscht, aktuell haben wir hier zweimal sehr lecker gegessen. Insbesondere waren neben dem jeweiligen "Hauptdarsteller" auf dem Teller auch die Beilagen raffiniert und sehr wohlschmeckend zubereitet. Sehr gefallen hat uns auch der emsige, ausgesprochen sympathisch lockere und kommunikative Umgangsstil des Service-Personals. Somit haben wir zwei sehr schöne sommerliche Frühabende auf der Newport-Terrasse genossen und sind froh, es nochmal versucht zu haben! Wir werden wiederkommen!

Erg lekker eten, goede service ofschoon het druk was. Er was gezegd dat het lang kon duren voordat de gerechten gebracht konden worsen, keuken had het erg druk . Na 20 minuten hadden wij het voorgerecht en toen wij het aten vroeg de serveerster of ze het hoofdgerecht al door kon geven omdat ze een grote groep verwachten. Goed meegedacht vonden wij. Ons hoofdgerecht kwam 20 minuten later. Hebben ervan genoten.

Wer eine moderne Umgebung für das Abendessen sucht, ist hier absolut richtig. Und mit der angeboten Qualität des Essens hat sich das Newport den Platz unter den Toprestaurants in Lübeck wirklich verdient. Schon die Vorspeisen waren großartig: gebeizter Hamachi und getauchte Jakobsmuscheln. Beides handwerklich perfekt, überaus wohlschmeckend und wunderschön angerichtet. Gleiches gilt für die Hauptspeisen: Karree vom Iberico-Schwein und Perlhuhnbrust Supreme. Kann kaum besser gemacht werden, bravo! Auch das Newport gehört für uns zu den Restaurants, die wir gerne wieder besuchen.

We were at the buffet in the restaurant with 30 people for several hours. Starting with the competent preliminary discussion on planning through to the celebration, we received extremely friendly advice and a very courteous welcome. We were all impressed by the very good food, the always attentive service and the maritime atmosphere on the pontoon and in the pavilion. Many thanks to the entire team! We are already looking forward to the next visit!

Great ambience with a beautiful view of Lübeck's old town and the Untertrave. Food really well done. The service had a bad day though. As a greeting, I was greeted with the water my predecessor had just poured over my pants. I tried to take this with humor. But since we wanted to take a look at the menu before ordering a drink, we were initially ignored for 30 minutes. We were then able to get rid of our order after being explicitly reminded. We were not asked about any other requests such as a second drink, dessert or coffee after the main course. We ended the evening with a glass of wine somewhere else.

Das Essen hatte eine hervorragende Qualität und der Service war sensationell. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal dort und nicht zum letzten mal. Vielen Dank an das gesammte Team.

We were in the harbor. It was once again very nice here with good service.

There were three of us for dinner and we were all very enthusiastic. Our highlight from the kitchen was the vegan watermelon tartare. My scallops would have liked to have been cooked for a little less time, but the composition of the dish was super tasty, especially with the pea cress. Vegan tagliatelle tasted great! The sorbet variation was a fine finish, especially the basil sorbet. Big compliments to the bartender. The in-house Piña Colada interpretation and the Sicilian Sour couldn't be beaten in terms of seriousness! Also a big thank you to the outstanding service team! Had dinner last night with four people. The menu has a nice selection with good variety for everyone. The food was very good and presented in a very nice way. Very tasty cocktails (I can recommend the Lemon Tai!) The location is on a harbor, which gives a nice view of various boats. Finally, the building: truly breathtaking, what a design! Highly recommended to spend an evening here. The location also seems very suitable for parties and weddings.

We were guests in the marina for two nights and took this as an opportunity to try out the attached restaurant. We had a great evening with great cocktails and very tasty food and today we tried the "Schifflein Deck Dich" service. What a brilliant idea! Yesterday I had the pleasure of getting to know NewPort for the very first time. I was booked from Rostock as a DJ for a wedding in Lübeck. Beforehand, I was able to talk to the event manager via video about the events and get to know Newport for the first time. I was warmly welcomed on site and was able to set up my equipment. Although the use of a fog machine is not approved because of the active smoke detectors, it is also possible. The staff does a very good job, the food was a dream and the location itself is mega. We always enjoy eating here. A very nice restaurant with a great location right on the water and a large open kitchen. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. There is a good selection of food that is beautifully presented and tastes great. The bar is also recommended, with very good and detailed advice on drinks. I can only recommend coming here for a visit.

Man ist immer wieder überrascht, welch tolle vegetarische Speisen hier angeboten werden, aber auch Nichtvegetarier kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Wenn wir an der Ostsee Urlaub machen, ist ein Aufenthalt im Newport stets gesetzt.

One of the best restaurants in Lübeck, Hallibut Filet with Risotto was very tasty, waiters were very nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. Reservation is very necessary to sit inside.

Mir gefällt das Newport sehr. Auch wenn die Küche nicht nach meinem Geschmack ausgerichtet ist( ist halt kulinarisch ein anderes Konzept) komme ich trotzdem gern vorbei . Der Kaffee schmeckt wirklich gut, eine Kleinigkeit findet sich auf der Speisekarte trotzdem. Und der Service ist immer um Professionalität bemüht. Unabhängig der Person wirst du freundlich behandelt. Deshalb sitze gern hin und wieder auf den Liegestühlen, um auf´s Wasser zu schauen. Manchmal sitzen wir auch beim Kaffee oder einer leckeren Currywurst drin. Die Soße ist mit Sicherheit nicht aus dem Plastikeimer,sonder noch aus frischen Zuatetn hergestellt. Das schmeckt man auch.

I was "again" in Newport with my family (my wife's mother and our daughter) for my wife's birthday. The food was fantastic and our daughter and my wife's mother loved it. My daughter just said: she'd never eaten something like that before. I'm just saying: listen to the "old ones" and smile. Conclusion: simply top class, nothing, absolutely nothing to complain about. My very special thanks to Paul: Thank you for the rose, Thomas (you know, my wife's heartfelt wish), Flo, Anna (who always laughs and smiles so beautifully, heartwarming) and Noah (our main table waiter and advisor in difficult life situations. ..which cocktail do you recommend? Every year at Pentecost we have our Grand Banks Rendezvous. This is a meeting of several ships of the same brand (Grand Banks). This year we were in Lübeck at the Newport. The berths are great and we were looked after by very friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant. The food was excellent!!! The “Grand Banks family” agreed! Recommended at any time!

We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant! The restaurant is very stylishly furnished with an open kitchen. The view of the Trave, ships and the skyline of Lübeck are very beautiful. The map is small but nice. There are both regional and international dishes (fish, meat, pasta and vegan dishes). Prices are on the high end - but we weren't disappointed. Cocktail, starter and dessert and the main course - we found it very tasty and finely prepared. We felt comfortable from the start - thank you very much!

Very nice restaurant with excellent food and a beautiful view of the harbor (from the winter garden). We had reserved in the winter garden. That evening there was a family celebration at several tables. When we arrived we were informed of this and asked if we still wanted the reserved space. Even during the meal, the employees asked several times whether everything was OK. Despite the noise level, we felt very comfortable there and the food was excellent. There is also a nice asparagus menu. In any case a recommendation.

I have been here several times now and always receive a warm welcome. The entire team knows what they are doing and knows how to do the job. It stays human and you can laugh a lot together. The advice on food and drinks is excellent. Nowadays I usually order the recommended dishes and then let the waiters choose the drinks themselves. As a result, I got to know many delicious wines and cocktails etc. and often thought outside the box. When my wife was unsure about the white wine, she was poured several wines and was able to choose her favorite. Craziness. The food is exceptionally good. It may cost a euro or two more, but when you see how much craftsmanship goes into the plate, it's justified by the time it takes to serve. In my opinion, the taste and presentation are worth a star. The ambience is also wonderful, except that the heating is turned up too high. I recommend loose clothing. But that's really the only thing where I can find something negative. I was able to spend many wonderful evenings here with friends and business partners that were worth every penny

Limited menu selection, wine didn't taste good, soft drinks served in bottles.

We each had a vegan starter, main course and dessert. Everything was extremely tasty and much more imaginative than the usual chickpea curry 😉 The service was very friendly and also competent when we had questions; it could only have been a little more attentive after the main course.

That was pretty disappointing. I had the goat cheese as a starter and the plaice as a main course. The starter was just OK, but nothing special - for this price I expected a lot more and I'm used to much better. Main course was below average - fried potatoes were burnt and carelessly seasoned and served, plaice was very watery, poorly seasoned (the diced ham doesn't help either) and also carelessly prepared. This cucumber remoulade didn't work at all from a culinary point of view. As mentioned, this overall would already be below average, but at this price it is subpar. Therefore only one star for it. If the price was reasonable, there might have been 2. The table in a neighboring niche was sterile, dark and without any view - but very loud, so that it was difficult to converse in a lowered tone. The icing on the cake was a large piece of plastic in the salmon carpaccio that a colleague bit on. Of course the chef came and apologized, offered a replacement, etc., but something like that shouldn't happen. This doesn't even happen at a chip shop around the corner. This is a catastrophe for restaurants in this price category. I'm still trying to understand why the store was so busy and has such good reviews. I couldn't find anything positive.
