Was here on a Saturday and had to wait a bit at the door, but the wait was manageable at about 15 minutes. The Tonkotsu Ramen was fine and filling, the service was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Unfortunately, the karaage was a bit too greasy for me personally and the selection of background music took a bit of getting used to (first calm Japanese pop music, then suddenly Eminem 😅)

Ramen is great, personal Asian super gentle and available. Hanno has various variations and different volentiers. Ramen doesn't come in Giappone but it doesn't come easily. Prezzi alti ma in media con i prezzi della città. Very good ramen, super friendly and helpful Asian staff. They have several variations and would like to try more. Ramen not like in Japan, but very close. Prices high but average with prices in the city.

Visiting Takumi for a few years already, and it's always been amazing. Can recommend for anybody willing to experience authentic Japanese cuisine! The Takumi Miso Soup is hands down the best one I've ever tried, and the rest of the menu is more than enough to satisfy any hungry person's needs. On top of that, they have original Japanese beer as well!

One of the more legit and authentic Japanese food in the area. I recommend the gyoza.

This is a ramen shop run by a Japanese person. From the greeting to the ramen itself, you can feel like you're in Japan. (However, please note that there is no water service.) Miso has garlic in it, so I often eat Dandan noodles.

I had the vegetarian ramen. It was good but too expensive. Most ramen costs around €20. The portion is very large. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

An atmosphere in which you feel comfortable. A small and fine shop with an open kitchen, super nice staff and excellent food. Frames (for me miso frames with an extra egg) are very popular in the cold season.

In short: overhyped It's hard to understand why the store is so hyped, or the competition in Munich is just bad. There were 4 of us, 3 of whom ordered a soft egg as an extra. All 3 eggs were ice cold (fridge temperature) and hard boiled. And within less than 5 minutes we were pressured to order 3 times. At first the Tantan Men weren't available, which is why we said we'd need it again...they gave us 1 minute and the waiter was there again. Please note that we don't know yet, he left and at the same moment his colleague stood there and wanted to take the order without leaving...incredibly unpleasant. Gyoza was obviously frozen and the takoyaki was probably also ready-made, especially since they had very little taste. Prices are questionable even for Munich standards... they sell perfectly normal ramen as "premium ramen" for €20 and up. Sorry, but regardless of whether it was Vienna, Berlin, Zurich, etc... better ramen was eaten everywhere and it wasn't treated so carelessly.

A very popular place for Asian cuisine not far from the Old Pinakothek. Wide variety of ramen. I took the signature miso ramen. Very tasty broth, I really liked it. The establishment itself is always almost completely full. Sometimes there is a line in front of the entrance of people wanting to get inside. The staff is polite and responsive.

Great place for ramen in Munich. Dishes are freshly prepared, tasty and well priced. From all the snacks on the menu, the gyoza are surprisingly good. The team is fast and very friendly.

Probably the best ramen I had recently! There you have a lot of choice, ranging from vegetarian and non-vegetarian ramen to gyoza. The prices are a bit higher than other places I tried in the past, but I guess that's just Munich :)

Delicious setting but unfortunately not the service expected. The staff gets three! Tables at the back of the restaurant while my companion and I were squeezed into a table with strangers. No go. And I don't want to watch the bored staff sleeping on the tables either / that would be a little better with a partition or something like that! Food was very tasty and great. I hope this gets resolved and I'll be happy to come back :)

I find the service poor. We are asked to share a table with another couple, though there was a free table. We asked whether we could move to the free table and were told no the table is for restaurant staff. There were three tables reserved for staff break and two staff members used two tables. It just didn’t feel right that each staff member used one table each and we as guests needed to share a table with another couple, especially there was still one table free… :( I didn’t feel welcomed, this is very pity, I’ve never felt like this in Japan. The food is okay and I wish they will also bring Japanese service here :)

You need to queue up, the taste is average, worse than local ones, the noodles are a bit hard, the soup is salty, and the tamagoyaki is a bit overcooked. I miss the variety of ramen in Japan.

I'm a Japanese person who eats ramen about three times a week in Japan. I've eaten ramen in many countries overseas, and this was by far the most delicious ramen I've had overseas. I think it will sell well even if it comes to Japan.

The short version: NO RESERVATION. NO TAKEAWAY FOOD. NO SERVICE. HUMANITY DOES NOT EXIST. The long version: After Takumi was recommended to us when it came to ramen, we traveled from the south of Munich to Schwabing to see the “Ramen Place to Be” live. The first three times we tried to get a table in the evening, we honestly gave up when we saw the eternally long queue in front of the restaurant - because what you need to know: reservations are generally not possible here. Instead, you just stand in line no matter the weather. It's okay, you can live with it somewhere. So next time I'll do it for lunch. Some tables free inside. In total, there were 3 other groups waiting at the door with us, none of them got one of the coveted tables because none of the groups were full. Then you have to wait in line until everyone is there. In winter, at -10° with a heavily pregnant woman and a friend with a 6 week old baby. Even when you ask whether your friend with the baby can wait inside, you only get a heartless “no exceptions”. Finally inside, ordered ramen, food actually tastes very good, there's nothing to say, despite the exorbitant prices - you pay just under €20 for the signature ramen - which - let's be honest - is just a noodle soup. We order a ramen to go on site for a friend who can't be there, pay and leave. A few weeks later we wanted to repeat our ramen adventure, unfortunately a friend's child got sick. Since after Covid you have learned not to go to a restaurant with a sick person, no matter how small, I went to Takumi alone an hour before the lunch break (here's a big tip if you still want to go to Takumi after this review - from 1:30 p.m. - After 3 p.m. you don't have to queue anymore, there are enough tables). Maybe 5 tables occupied inside. I order 3 ramen to go - the waitress says “not possible to go, no exceptions”. I explain to her about our sick people that I drove across Munich with my baby just to get Takumi Ramen, that taking leftover ramen with you or for friends if you eat there yourself 3 weeks earlier wasn't a problem either, that I would also pay for the take away dishes. Doesn't matter. No exceptions. The waitress turns away and leaves, the chefs look puzzled. Me too. Nothing like that has ever happened to me in my life. Apparently Takumi doesn't rely on paying customers or prefers people to sit down in the restaurant if they're sick. Dear Takumi - you make good ramen at high prices but humanely and when it comes to service you really still have so much to learn. Doesn't fit the otherwise friendly, accommodating Japanese style. Just a disappointing experience, we definitely won't be coming back.

One of the worst takumis I've been to. The ramen was either completely tasteless due to the broth or tasted burnt. The gyozas were catastrophic, even frozen ones for €2 from the Asian store were better. The meat was unseasoned and gray. The Shoyu Special advertises meat and minced meat, although I hardly saw any of the minced meat. The best tip is to look for another Takumi in Munich and avoid this one.

I would just say that the best ramen (in Munich) is here. The price is not without its price, but it is justified due to the quality and good taste.

All food is delicious and fresh

This is a very bad experience. First of all, in terms of noodles, their noodle base cannot be called ramen at all. It is worse than instant ramen noodles. In addition, I also added an extra soft-boiled egg, but in the end I only saw it. I was very disappointed with the hard-boiled eggs, but overall I don’t recommend them.

I have been there with my girlfriend and her sister who are both Japanese. They told me that this Ramen is very good and reminded them of home. For me, it has been the first time and I will 100% come back again. Absolutely delicious! I had the Tan Tan Ramen and some Takoyaki. The staff was so friendly, cheerful and authentic.

I got the Tan-Tan ramen and the miso ramen. Everything was really good! Having eaten ramen all over the world. I can safely say their miso ramen is authentic. I saw a lot of reviews about the Tan-Tan ramen, but it was a little too thick and nutty for me personally. The miso ramen was absolutely delicious, it is salty and packed with flavour just like in Japan! I wanted to tip but did not have any cash and for some reason I could not tip with card. They didn’t seem upset at all thou, I just felt really bad.

as a tenkitsu ramen enthusiast, it was honestly a disappointment. the broth didn’t have even a little of the unique pork bone authentic taste and it was very salty, the only thing giving it any charm being the red ginger topping. the broth itself didn’t seem to have any ginger cooked in or any other ingredients to add depth and complexity like bonito flakes or mushrooms. 😕

There are different variations of delicious ramen here. The restaurant is busy, so you should plan for waiting times.

It is clearly communicated online that takeaway food is offered, but on site it is announced that only starters can be ordered to go - and no ramen 😁 Ramen can only be ordered from Wolt, but the customer is not allowed to order ramen to go on site. Very very annoying.

Prices were quite high and the quantity, especially of the starters, was very small. Seaweed (5€), small half teriyaki chicken without side dish (10€) and special Shoyu Ramen (16€). The pork belly from the ramen was thin and seemed to be overcooked, the ramen itself was too salty and poorly seasoned. I've definitely had better and more authentic ramen in other cities! The green "hot" tea was far too thin and lukewarm. I definitely wouldn't recommend TAKUMI!

I would like to rate the food, but after we drove an extra hour to Munich today (Sunday) and then opened it in front of closed doors, I can't do that. It would be great if you kept your information up to date on the internet.

Honestly I found the ramen a bit disappointing. Mostly pork ramen and very few meat inside. The chicken one had pieces where 2/3 was the deep frying.

The vegetarian ramen soup is well seasoned - I didn't miss meat as a flavor ingredient! However, the noodles tasted like instant noodles to me, the egg was almost cold and had a strange consistency. All vegetable toppings are raw. With the egg and corn (extra toppings that are not included as a base) a normal portion for a whopping €19.80 without a drink, starter or dessert. Overall, the lunch was okay, but it could be improved a lot compared to homemade ramen and therefore the prices were way too high...

Conclusion: delicious Japanese ramen and a franchise company from Düsseldorf's Takumi. Table reservations are not possible. If you want to avoid the queue, you can stop by from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Ramen: Overall, the quality of the ramen is good. If you're looking for authentic ramen like from Japan, this is the closest thing you can get. The highlight are the silky ramen noodles. There are a few potentials for improvement here: The soup base has a weaker taste compared to Düsseldorf's quality. There is a larger points deduction for the meat, which could have used an hour longer cooking time. The ramen egg was okay, the yolk could have been a bit softer. Service: friendly and fast service Restaurant: simple and simple place for a snack. Nice atmosphere.

The service was really nice and you immediately felt at home. The food was also quite good, but we all thought that the Takumi in Düsseldorf was better and the menu was more appealing, so we deducted one star. Overall it was good, but if we're in Munich again we probably won't visit the store again because it didn't blow us away like it did in Düsseldorf. I wouldn't take the green tea again either.

Very good ramen and fast service. Unfortunately it is always overcrowded and therefore quite loud. Likewise, the prices are almost outrageous for ramen soup. One person can quickly get to €35.

Tasted good, but coming from out of town, this restaurant doesn't beat our favorite ramen spot. There were ten of us here and unfortunately we couldn't eat together, making it unsuitable for large groups. The food was great and good, the eggs were unfortunately overcooked, the noodles tasted like instant noodles, which unfortunately several guests noticed. Unfortunately the price performance wasn't that good because it was quite expensive... Tempura vegetables were very tasty and fried chicken was super tender and juicy. Staff super nice, but prefer to order in English :) So generally good, but still room for improvement. But it is definitely one of the better Rameon restaurants.

I ordered ramen soup. It wasn't on the menu that this soup was made with a peanut base. When I was served the soup, I noticed the smell of peanuts. Since I have a severe allergy, I kindly pointed this out to the waitress. The Asian woman pointed out to me in a relatively unfriendly manner that you should get the allergy list in advance before ordering something and that she would therefore not be able to accommodate me because it was my own fault. I couldn't eat the soup for €15.99 anymore. With such an expensive soup shop, it would be really reasonable to want to keep a customer, but that's apparently not the case here! Never again..
