The Kumpir in Hamburg

Very tasty! I like the friendliness and the delicious food. I think it's great that you can put together your own Kumpir. And I loved that they offered me a vegan sauce without me even asking.

I've enjoyed coming here for years, but unfortunately the store has taken a negative turn. The older gentlemen from before were so nice and tried so hard. The gentleman behind the counter doesn't seem particularly motivated or friendly. He hardly makes any effort to mash the potato properly and you only end up with lots of pieces. It used to be really nice like puree. The ingredients are simply slapped on top. Today the potato was completely burnt because it had probably been in the oven for a long time and you could taste it. It's a shame that you pay so much for it and then get such quality. You should really work on it.

Unfortunately there was a hair in my food. When the boss doesn't work, I find the employees very strange.

The store has been my absolute favorite store for almost ten years! The ingredients are always super fresh, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. What's particularly impressive is that the owner even remembered my favorite ingredients - I like to customize my meals and it's really great that the team here is so attentive. The shop is a real family business and the warmth you feel there is simply unbeatable. What also excites me is the strict adherence to the hygiene rules. Since I am very picky when it comes to the cleanliness and quality of food, I feel completely comfortable. It's always a highlight to eat there when I'm in the area. A place that really combines heart and quality!

Probably the best “Kumpir kebab shop” in Hamburg. Real flatbread, great meat, fresh salad and delicious sauces. Definitely our favorite kebab.

Probably the best buddy in Hamburg. DANGER!!!! No run-of-the-mill review from someone who has no idea about food. An honest review, from someone who can also cook well. The staff is very friendly and what you get for your money here is unbeatable. To be honest, I'm surprised that this store doesn't have a branch north of the Elbe. The potatoes harmonize perfectly with the sauces and ingredients. It's damn good, depending on the choice, the ingredients have always been fresh. #unreserved recommendation. Atmo, yes what can you say, there is nothing special inside and the surrounding area is not a pretty spot. The younger friend did not seem very friendly to me, or maybe that was his character, but this is not an excuse. This was my second visit, the first time I went with my wife, the second time I went alone. I think he was received very coldly and the potatoes were small. I think the baked potatoes should be bigger and I don't think I will ever go there again, we pay for that meal and eat it. I had a hard time not arguing with my friend, as if he was doing everything by force. You pay 11 or 12 Euros for at least one baked potato with a drink. In my opinion, this should not be the reward. It's not much we expect, just a smiling face.

In my opinion, The Kumpir is the best kumpir shop in Hamburg. All in all, super tasty and recommended.

Super nice owner, run by the whole family, everyone loves it! The food is one of our all-time favorites. It tastes really delicious and isn't that heavy on the stomach, the portion is really big and is definitely enough, some people won't finish it all :)

So the Kumpir was really tasty, you could tell that the ingredients were fresh. But the staff wasn't great, unfriendly and unprofessional. The ambience isn't that great either, you feel more like you're in a kiosk than in a restaurant. The tables are uncomfortable and the chairs have no backrest. But the shop is clean and the food is good too.

The Kumpir is really very tasty, the best even in Hamburg. Unfortunately I have to deduct two points because this evening's employee (a slightly younger one) showed really poor service. Ok, you can understand that some customers don't behave completely and he has a bad day as a result, but not being able to say hello or goodbye to the customer, preparing the kumpir with a whim, as if you were forcing him to prepare the kumpir, I really don't find it customer-friendly . I really enjoy coming to The Kumpir but today I was disappointed by the staff's service.

Super delicious buddy, go there that's how it is actually. Since the young man has been working there, he has been extremely stingy with the portions. You pay so much for a buddy, even a small portion, if he's there we don't go or hope he doesn't do our buddy.

It was very tasty, the selection was plentiful and the owners were very friendly! There are some vegetarian options available too!

Mega leckere kumpir Variationen. Für mich ist Chicken Knoblauch take-away die beste Variante.

Ein kleiner aber sehr feiner und leckerer Laden gegenüber dem Phönix Center in Hamburg-Harburg. Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgäste und es schmeckt einfach unglaublich lecker. Nach dem man hier einen Kumpir gegessen hat, schmeckt es irgendwo anders garantiert nicht mehr! Der Besitzer ist super nett und seine Portionen sind auch immer sehr großzügig. Auch bei extra wünschen ist er immer sehr bemüht. Weiterhin viel Erfolg! Bis zum nächsten mal.

Food was really good, people were also good but they needed to hire more employees for fast delivery. There was a long waiting queue, that was the only drawback otherwise the food was really good. ☺️

Sehr netter älterer Herr (Besitzer) der Sohn hat noch ein Kumpir Laden in Hamburg- Altona beide Läden sehr sauber. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und frisch und vor allem gesund. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Dein Kumpir wird so gemacht wie du es möchtest, leckere Soßen. Danke bitte bleibt so wie ihr seid

Schmeckt immer gut und freundlich .

Ich esse schon seit über 10 Jahren da mein Kumpir und für mich ist es der Beste Kumpir Laden in ganz Hamburg. Super Zutaten, immer frisch, mega Lecker und eine große Auswahl. Man bekommt ein große Portion wo man auf jeden Fall von satt wird. Der stets freundliche Inhaber füllt die Kartoffeln mit sehr viel Sorgfalt. Ich bin begeistert und kann es jedem weiterempfehlen. Der Laden ist klein aber fein. Bin sehr zufrieden und für mich lohnt es sich extra eine halbe Stunde nach Harburg zufahren um dort ein Kumpir zu essen. 😘

Ich bin immer wieder gerne dort, freundliches Personal und schmecken tut es auch. Einziger Abzug man hat leider nicht so viele Sitzmöglichkeiten und etwas zu eng.

Sehr geile Idee, die mega umgesetzt wird, einfach, aber genau das macht es manchmal aus.

Die Kartoffeln sind sehr lecker und die Zutaten schmecken immer sehr frisch. Ich finde es klasse, dass man sich die Zutaten selbst aussuchen und seine Kumpir immer individuell bekommt. Es ist top, dass man auch mit der Karte bezahlen kann.

Me gusta el sitio, está muy céntrico, el personal es amable, las patatas están bastante buenas y te llenan bastante el plato, los precios son competitivos y los productos siempre se ven frescos y en buen estado, tienen mesas para comer dentro y fuera del local, aunque también puedes hacer tu pedido para llevar. Creo que solo aceptan pago en metálico, pero tienes un banco en la acera de enfrente
