I've never had an iced coffee served without whipped cream. There's actually no cream on the menu either. So it was rather disappointing.

No longer recommended since the change of operator. The ice cream selection is average and nothing special in terms of taste. Has totally degraded compared to before. If the customer then wants to pick up the cake that the waitress had forgotten from the buffet, the answer is "Don't stress about it, you'll just have to wait 10 minutes." Another piece of cake at our table had hair on it, so we sent it back. At least that worked 😉 If the staff were more approachable and friendly then........ But it is what it is. Then you just have to wait until we come back.

We went to the ice cream shop again on Easter Sunday. Unfortunately we were very disappointed this time, for the first time in years. The bread with avocado was old and not like the usual fresh whole grain bread, and the rolls were no longer of the same quality as before. But the cheek was that we were given scrambled eggs with bacon and fried bow ties. Since our appetite was gone, we didn't want anything new either. The fact that it was then charged is more than audacious. If our next experience is so negative again, the ice cream shop will have lost us as a long-standing customer forever.

The ice cream here always tastes very good and is recommended. A lot of it is done by yourself.

We have visited the Kaulsdorf ice cream shop many times and have always been absolutely satisfied with the food and service. But we have to make some compromises during our visit today. After a short meal we found a fly in the scrambled eggs. We complained - we were also offered a new scrambled egg - but we had lost our appetite. When we paid we discovered that the 'fly scrambled eggs' had been charged. I just don't think that works. I hope that was just a big exception!

Yes you can, unfortunately it is acoustically very loud in the back room. You should book the winter garden for a private celebration. The breakfast is very tasty and very extensive.

Delicious cakes from our own pastry shop, ice cream in many variations and portions. Very nice, accommodating service, even if it gets a little more crowded on sunny weekends.

We wanted to have a coffee today...we were initially seated at the door (it was nice and cold) because apparently there was no room in the back. Then we left after 20 minutes because we were ignored and no order was taken. It was our last visit.

The ice cream was okay. The queue of people was even larger.

It's illusory to casually grab an ice cream on your hand on a Sunday while walking by the ice cream shop. Too many people appreciate the delicious ice cream, so you have to plan for 20-25 minutes, or you can try to get a spot in the garden when the sun is shining. The selection of ice cream creations has decreased in the last two years but, like everywhere else, the prices have increased.

The first rays of sunshine lured us to the ice cream parlor for Women's Day. Great selection of ice cream variations and cakes. Service was very nice, despite being extremely stressful. At the end there was a rose for the women. Thank you very much, we'll be back.

We spontaneously visited our regular ice cream parlor and unexpectedly noticed a change in operator. Service was significantly compromised: the indoor area was empty, ordering took a long time, street sales were given priority, and payment required our active intervention. The ambience, the attention and care of the staff left a lot to be desired; the cleanliness, especially of the toilet facilities, was poor. Until 2015, this café was a popular meeting place for us and our family gatherings. Under these circumstances we will go to another ice cream parlor in the future.

Well...it's really worn off. Everything outside was sterile, unfriendly, uninviting. Everything gone for the kids. There is a lack of liveliness. Maybe a little more lightness and friendliness, less stiffness from the staff.... I'll check back and hope it gets better.

It was very good here again. No matter whether it's an ice cream sundae or a delicious cake... and the coffee is very good anyway. 👍🏻

I can't say anything else, I just got ice cream to take away today. Service very nice. But there is a but... 3 scoops with cream, 7 euros. Yogurt/mango and hazelnut delicious. Salted caramel was sooooooo salty, I would have discarded any savory dish, whether it was a soup, salad or steak, as being too salty. The trick with salty caramel is that the salt is only noticeable as a hint and therefore has its own uniqueness. With this ice cream you chew on coarse grains of salt and have your mouth full of them, it's really disgusting. In the photo there are grains of salt from a little ice cream, just a spoonful full. And there was very little cream.

My parents recently had breakfast there with friends and unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be...we really enjoyed coming there for breakfast or ice cream, but unfortunately things have changed due to the change in operator and we won't be going there anymore... It's a real shame

I was invited to brunch today to celebrate two birthdays. I was thrilled! A lovingly laid table and outstanding service. The shop is modern and very cozy. The cake display looked inviting. I can highly recommend this store!!!

The cake is a stunner. In summer the ice cream is also highly recommended. There is a very large selection.

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated significantly since the change in ownership. We used to often go here for breakfast or ice cream. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Now there has been a change of ownership and the guest is feeling this extremely. We waited an hour for breakfast. 30 minutes for the drinks. The staff is completely overwhelmed. We will no longer have breakfast here and unfortunately we will no longer recommend it to our friends. Very, very sad ☹️

As always, I had a Canadian Nut Dream sundae. Unfortunately the nut mixture consisted mostly of almonds. Service was very good!

External appearance okay. Old-fashioned interior. Service OK. Price performance is not justified, especially for ice cream sundaes. For children from €8 (two scoops of ice cream + gummy bears or Smarties). For adults from €10 A “normal person” can’t afford that!

I think it's really nice here and I'm always happy to come back. The service staff is very friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

I was there on September 22nd, 24, there was a military tone, when I came in I wanted to sit at a table for two, the waitress with a very loud tone, young man here are assigned the seats, behind me there was a German couple who were allowed take a seat at the table that I wanted to sit down. I felt discriminated against because I still have blue eyes and am blonde. Maybe the lady should think about whether the way she treated the customer was right. My criticism only applies to the waitress.

I have known the ice cream shop for many years and have always enjoyed the combination of feasting and children's play area. In the meantime, new owners have sacrificed the gaming opportunity for even more tables in order to secure income, not least through overpriced ice cream sundaes. The guests accept it because ice cream is a part of summer. But I won't come again because I absolutely don't see the price-performance ratio, especially since the quality of the ice cream has deteriorated. It's a shame when greed wins over quality. Visited for the first time today and what can I say, I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast selection is really great, you'll be surprised with healthy treats on your plate, the staff is friendly and not intrusive and the prices are completely reasonable. Top business 👍🏻.

The ice cream was tasty, but for €1.80 per scoop it was very small and very runny. Yes, it was hot, but the ice cream had already run away in the refrigerated store. The waitresses were friendly and nice, but also a bit absent.

We were here yesterday with 11 people. Of course we made reservations in advance, which worked out great. It was very well attended. The staff was very friendly even though it was very busy. Everything we ordered came very quickly and was of very good quality. We'd love to come back.

We used to enjoy going to the ice cream shop very often. Unfortunately, the quality of the ice cream deteriorated extremely after the new owners took over. The service isn't always the best either

Went to the ice cream shop again for a long time today. When carrying the stroller in, the waitress felt disturbed. When we arrived at the place we were asked whether the stroller could be left outside. (It was raining at the time.) The sundaes have shrunk significantly in size. Unfortunately disappointed.

A typical iced coffee with a very good selection and great friendly service. We didn't know about coffee, but thanks to our daughter we now know where to sit well and get good food plus very good ice cream

Unfortunately, the charm of the past is no longer there (beach chair)..and pre-ordering is almost mandatory, probably because of the staff shortage...but the breakfast and the ice cream are still super delicious...

Here you can get ice cream, cakes, crepes and much more. The prices are okay. There are seats inside and outside and toilets available. You can park on the side of the road.

The ice cream shop in Kaulsdorf is really no longer an insider tip, because if you want to have breakfast on Sunday, you should have a reservation if possible or be very lucky. The breakfast selection is very plentiful and varied and all sorts of extras can be ordered. The friendly and diligent service team deserves special mention. Always a friendly word on your lips with a dose of Berlin charm.

The dining room is attractive, the garden areas are inviting and very shady thanks to the large umbrellas. The ice cream and cake are very tasty and homemade, the sundaes for 10-12 euros are not very big. We found the prices a bit excessive for the location. Table service was fine, but started with a rather unfriendly reprimand upon entry that you were being seated in the garden. We simply overlooked the sign because of the line of walk-in customers, but that could be friendlier. Payment by debit/credit card is only possible without a tip, but unfortunately the waitress was left behind.

Always a relaxed atmosphere and very attentive service, with the heart in the right place.

A very wide range at really fair prices. The staff is very nice and they are happy to respond to individual customer requests. The ambience in the outdoor area invites you to linger for a longer period of time. An absolute insider tip. However, you should reserve in advance by phone during peak times.

We had reservations for brunch for a birthday party! The table was lovingly set! The food on offer was plentiful and the selection was appetizing and tasteful! Drinks were served quickly! We feel very comfortable!

Our favorite ice cream shop with many different and delicious ice cream flavors. Cakes and tarts are also very tasty and the prices are still tolerable. (2018) We are now in 2024 and the ice cream and cake are still very, very tasty. Unfortunately, inflation has left its mark here too, so we're now more likely to eat a scoop (or two) to go (instead of an ice cream sundae).

Was there with my girlfriend. As soon as you walk in you can feel the warmth. We were served excellently, there was great coffee, cake and an ice cream sundae. I was visiting my girlfriend in Berlin from Hamburg. We had an exceptionally good breakfast here. There is a huge selection. Everything looked very appetizing and tasted very tasty. The staff is very friendly. I would love to come back on my next visit to Berlin. Greetings from Hamburg.
