I was taking a walk and saw the shop - there are lots of similar shops on the street - but what caught my eye here was the fresh bread that was being prepared in large quantities at the counter in front of the customers, which also gave off a wonderful smell. I only wanted a bite to eat and opted for a fresh, homemade vegetarian pide, which tasted delicious. The service when taking my order was also very courteous and friendly. I gave the ambience three stars because I think it's difficult to give a snack bar more ambience. But it's a manageable, and overall clean, tidy dining room. Certain things, but they're small things, could be kept cleaner, like the ceiling lights, but that's really nitpicking - only special people like me sometimes look up at the ceiling 😂. There are leftovers here and there, but as I noticed, people are wiping, tidying, and cleaning in between meals. It gets pretty busy, so it can happen that they can't keep up with the wiping. The only thing I would criticize are the Coca-Cola drinks, although that's just my personal opinion regarding the current political situation. Many restaurateurs don't change their Coca-Cola or Pepsi selections for fear of losing sales, but I'm sure since the food tastes so good, no one would mind. Just a tip: Sinalco lemonades also have a humanitarian stance. Otherwise, I can recommend the shop and will try a kebab next time to form my own opinion. I also found the price/performance ratio to be very fair.

When you get a little hungry... 😄 The doner kebab plate is truly huge, with a generous portion of meat. The salad and fries are fresh, and the sauce is delicious. At €13, it's truly more than good value, and you'll definitely be more than satisfied, and it's truly delicious. The staff is also very friendly, and you can sit comfortably in the shop.

I ordered a doner kebab and specifically emphasized when ordering that the meat should be cooked thoroughly. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case – there were raw pieces, including a very large, almost completely raw piece. After I complained, the half-eaten doner kebab was opened with the same tongs (they use for other doner kebabs) and thrown away in annoyance. I then said I could simply take my money back. The employee who made the doner kebab reacted very annoyed and said in an unfriendly tone, "Yes, you can have it." The man at the cash register then said he would take care of it. The second doner kebab was also mostly undercooked. I didn't eat the second doner kebab either, and was done after four or five bites. A Turkish family at the next table also noticed the raw meat and the behavior and commented to me that this was completely unacceptable. This was all the more incomprehensible given that the place wasn't busy (around 7 p.m.) and had plenty of time to cook it through. I didn't understand what the problem was.

As always, the doner kebab was delicious, with beef and just tomatoes and onions. I always enjoy coming here.

I eat there regularly, and the kebab tastes just like kebabs should taste; it doesn't have to be a modern imitation. One of the few places that still values homemade bread and meat. The boss is super friendly, but the workers sometimes seem stressed, but that's no surprise given the amount of work. Overall, it's my number one place for something quick and tasty to eat!

Wowzers! The Grillmeister kebab shop is hands down one of the best kebab shops in Bavaria. If you’re in and around Nuremberg and are looking for the best kebab in the city, then this is definitely worth coming to. If you’re new to kebabs then I must warn you, once you’ve eaten one of these, you’ll definitely judge every other kebab you ever eat. In this last week I’ve eaten kebabs in Italy and Mallorca and I’ve probably eaten over a thousand in my lifetime. So when I find a random kebab shop like this then it’s only fair I share it with the world. Inside the Grillmeister you have a lot of options and everything is freshly made. In fact the owner showed me into the kitchen as I remarked how delicious everything looks. Additionally I genuinely rarely see such a clean gastro of any kind. The whole restaurant is spotless and doesn’t smell of any cheap cleaning chemicals. The kebab itself was full to the brim of goodness and they have a mild sauce that is slightly hot and if you’re like me, I chose to add extra chili flakes. If I were to come back to Nuremberg this would be the first place I’d come! The employees were all very friendly and 8 euros for probably Bavaria’s best kebab is a steal. Also anyone stuck in the airport, this is just 10 minutes away! You won’t regret it.

It was my favorite kebab shop for a long time, but the new prices are an absolute disgrace, you could say it's a rip-off €6 for a kebab box, considering how much it cost back then, I only visit very rarely or not at all anymore. I've never had such a poorly topped kebab for €7. Every time you get a different amount. Sometimes a well-filled and delicious kebab and sometimes this one. That was our last visit. That's not worth €7 to me.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) Been there again after a long time - unfortunately had a very bad experience. We ordered two chicken kebabs and ate them there. We were shocked to discover that some of the chicken was not cooked properly! Unfortunately, we had already eaten half of the kebab at this point. I pointed out to the store manager that this shouldn't be done as it poses a serious health risk - especially for my pregnant friend. But instead of dealing with the problem, the employee just shrugged his shoulders and said: “Yes, lunch break always has to be quick because there is a lot going on.” This statement stunned me! Time pressure should never be an excuse for poor hygiene and improper preparation. Uncooked chicken can have serious health consequences! An apology? None. Compensation or reimbursement? Not either. More attention must be paid to hygiene and correct preparation. Actually a clear case for the food authority! We won't eat here anymore.

I wanted a slightly spicy kebab and got the hottest kebab in the world. It just doesn't go well with the kebab. Otherwise pretty boring taste.

The kebab bread was crispy, the sauce was delicious and the vegetables were fresh. Overall also very rich. But the meat was still pink and could have been cooked better. It was cold in the restaurant, not a pleasant atmosphere and the toilets were a bit dirty. The staff were very friendly. At €7, too expensive for the standard All in all not recommended.

I have known the previous owner of this Lafeb for over 18 years. He previously had the Karakaya Döner snack bar on the same street and handed it over to another one. After that the quality was no longer the same. Now he has also sold Grillmeister to his employee. Here, too, the quality fell very rapidly. Today I had an argument with the Grillmeister employee because he didn't fry the meat properly! Since I have seen this lack of quality many times, I will no longer set foot in this store. You have to fear for your health if you are served raw meat! If I want to eat raw meat, I go to a Chinese place and eat sushi and not to a Turkish place or a kebab stand!!! It's a shame that the new owner can no longer maintain the quality!

Disaster! Went there yesterday, first repeated the order 10 times, waited for half an hour for the guy to prepare a salad plate with a bit of meat - repeated again at the 11th time, salad then meat and kebab sauce ready, nothing more was asked for. Afterwards I got a kebab plate with fries, which is not possible, especially after half an hour. Everything was swimming in fat and meat couldn't be gotten from just raw meat. Tapeworms are guaranteed. And the employee is laughing cheekily the whole time! The boss just drank on the cay with his family, didn't do anything when he was called, didn't do anything shortly before leaving the shop even though he was the boss and paid €65 for raw meat and fat!

Tip for new visitors: The Dürüm is a lot bigger than the kebab in the bread ;)

Terrible! I used to be a regular customer there because the quality was once good. Back today after a long time. Falafel Dürüm: big but poor quality. Falafel was completely tasteless and dry, hardly any sauce on the salad, no spices whatsoever, even the flatbread was limp and tasteless. Never again. 👎🏼
