Delicious doner kebab and large dürüm for a good price (€7-8). You can choose between turkey or beef, although I've never seen beef on a doner kebab before and therefore haven't tried it. The portion is a good size. The ingredients seem fresh.

I've been here several times now, tried the doner kebab, dürüm, etc. – sometimes you just have bad luck, so I thought I'd give it another chance... the sauce, the meat... I don't know, it just doesn't work. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the service. I won't be coming back. It's immediately obvious that the owner deletes critical reviews or bad ones, which makes the whole place even less appealing. I suspect my review will be deleted soon too.

€8 for a turkey dürüm of that size seems unreasonable to me. The dürüm is definitely too small. The Karakaya dürüm is cheaper and definitely larger.

My first thought was, "Wow, awesome—he's really piled on everything!" Because I was hungry, the first three bites were actually quite tasty. After that, though, I realized it was okay, but not exactly a flavor explosion. The lahmacun was alright, something you can have once in a while—but it's not a must-try. It's nice that you can pay by card.

Very disappointing. I was a regular customer at this kebab shop for a long time, but not anymore after this experience. The meat in my dürüm order wasn't cooked through; as you can see in the photo, it was raw. This is not only inedible but also a health risk. When I tried to complain on-site, I was told that the meat was "supposed to be like that" and that they had already complained to the supplier. In my opinion, this is incomprehensible, as the meat was clearly undercooked. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this shop. Addendum: The owner tried to have my review removed—however, the experience described is verifiable and true. Addendum: The photo is an original, unaltered image taken during my visit. I have also uploaded a screenshot of the metadata, which clearly shows the date, time, and location of the photo. ``` Furthermore, a few months ago there were significantly more reviews also reporting undercooked meat. These reviews have since been removed, leaving only two 1-star reviews. This shows that my experience was not an isolated incident and that the owner is apparently systematically trying to have critical reviews deleted.

Three places were displayed within a mere 300 meters. Since I'm a hobby cook and foodie, I chose Grillmeister, which has a 4.9-star rating, and the last review somehow appealed to me. I ordered a doner kebab with turkey meat for 7 euros. It costs about the same in my small town, so it was a fair price for me. The photos of the place reflect what you can expect. I liked the atmosphere when I looked around. People expecting a restaurant should actually go to a restaurant before criticizing the owner here. Everything was very clean: the shop, the counter, the floor, and the food preparation area. There were three customers ahead of me. Oh dear, but I didn't have to wait long at all to get my takeaway doner kebab. The staff, three in line at a time, were extremely friendly. You reap what you sow, and I was pleased. Now, about the doner: it was fantastic. The meat was juicy and not at all fatty, cooked thoroughly but not dry or burnt. The salads, etc., were fresh, and the freshly baked bread was soft and very easy to digest. I had a garlic sauce. The flavor was perfect (not too garlicky). I'm a big eater, and the doner was exactly what I was looking for. I was completely satisfied. In short: an excellent doner at a fair price, and the staff were very friendly! I was taking a walk and saw the shop - there are lots of similar shops on the street - but what caught my eye here was the fresh bread that was being prepared in large quantities at the counter in front of the customers, which also gave off a wonderful smell. I only wanted a bite to eat and opted for a fresh, homemade vegetarian pide, which tasted delicious. The service when taking my order was also very courteous and friendly. I gave the ambience three stars because I think it's difficult to give a snack bar more ambience. But it's a manageable, and overall clean, tidy dining room. Certain things, but they're small things, could be kept cleaner, like the ceiling lights, but that's really nitpicking - only special people like me sometimes look up at the ceiling 😂. There are leftovers here and there, but as I noticed, people are wiping, tidying, and cleaning in between meals. It gets pretty busy, so it can happen that they can't keep up with the wiping. The only thing I would criticize are the Coca-Cola drinks, although that's just my personal opinion regarding the current political situation. Many restaurateurs don't change their Coca-Cola or Pepsi selections for fear of losing sales, but I'm sure since the food tastes so good, no one would mind. Just a tip: Sinalco lemonades also have a humanitarian stance. Otherwise, I can recommend the shop and will try a kebab next time to form my own opinion. I also found the price/performance ratio to be very fair.

At €13, it's truly more than good value, and you'll definitely be more than satisfied, and it's truly delicious. The staff is also very friendly, and you can sit comfortably in the shop.

I ordered a doner kebab and specifically emphasized when ordering that the meat should be cooked thoroughly. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case – there were raw pieces, including a very large, almost completely raw piece. After I complained, the half-eaten doner kebab was opened with the same tongs (they use for other doner kebabs) and thrown away in annoyance. I then said I could simply take my money back. The employee who made the doner kebab reacted very annoyed and said in an unfriendly tone, "Yes, you can have it." The man at the cash register then said he would take care of it. The second doner kebab was also mostly undercooked. I didn't eat the second doner kebab either, and was done after four or five bites. A Turkish family at the next table also noticed the raw meat and the behavior and commented to me that this was completely unacceptable. This was all the more incomprehensible given that the place wasn't busy (around 7 p.m.) and had plenty of time to cook it through. I didn't understand what the problem was.

If you’re in and around Nuremberg and are looking for the best kebab in the city, then this is definitely worth coming to. If you’re new to kebabs then I must warn you, once you’ve eaten one of these, you’ll definitely judge every other kebab you ever eat. In this last week I’ve eaten kebabs in Italy and Mallorca and I’ve probably eaten over a thousand in my lifetime. So when I find a random kebab shop like this then it’s only fair I share it with the world. Inside the Grillmeister you have a lot of options and everything is freshly made. In fact the owner showed me into the kitchen as I remarked how delicious everything looks. Additionally I genuinely rarely see such a clean gastro of any kind. The whole restaurant is spotless and doesn’t smell of any cheap cleaning chemicals. The kebab itself was full to the brim of goodness and they have a mild sauce that is slightly hot and if you’re like me, I chose to add extra chili flakes. If I were to come back to Nuremberg this would be the first place I’d come! The employees were all very friendly and 8 euros for probably Bavaria’s best kebab is a steal. Also anyone stuck in the airport, this is just 10 minutes away! You won’t regret it.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) Been there again after a long time - unfortunately had a very bad experience. We ordered two chicken kebabs and ate them there. We were shocked to discover that some of the chicken was not cooked properly! Unfortunately, we had already eaten half of the kebab at this point. I pointed out to the store manager that this shouldn't be done as it poses a serious health risk - especially for my pregnant friend. But instead of dealing with the problem, the employee just shrugged his shoulders and said: “Yes, lunch break always has to be quick because there is a lot going on.” This statement stunned me! Time pressure should never be an excuse for poor hygiene and improper preparation. Uncooked chicken can have serious health consequences! An apology? None. Compensation or reimbursement? Not either. More attention must be paid to hygiene and correct preparation. Actually a clear case for the food authority! We won't eat here anymore.
