The name Grillmeister is well deserved here; this kebab shop has several advantages. You can pay by card. The kebab tastes very good. The grill master is extremely friendly and accommodating. He also has a real eagle eye. Even though the shop was full, he knew it was my turn that day. Top, top, top. I can only recommend coming here.

I eat there regularly, and the kebab tastes just like kebabs should taste; it doesn't have to be a modern imitation. One of the few places that still values homemade bread and meat. The boss is super friendly, but the workers sometimes seem stressed, but that's no surprise given the amount of work. Overall, it's my number one place for something quick and tasty to eat!

If you’re in and around Nuremberg and are looking for the best kebab in the city, then this is definitely worth coming to. If you’re new to kebabs then I must warn you, once you’ve eaten one of these, you’ll definitely judge every other kebab you ever eat. In this last week I’ve eaten kebabs in Italy and Mallorca and I’ve probably eaten over a thousand in my lifetime. So when I find a random kebab shop like this then it’s only fair I share it with the world. Inside the Grillmeister you have a lot of options and everything is freshly made. In fact the owner showed me into the kitchen as I remarked how delicious everything looks. Additionally I genuinely rarely see such a clean gastro of any kind. The whole restaurant is spotless and doesn’t smell of any cheap cleaning chemicals. The kebab itself was full to the brim of goodness and they have a mild sauce that is slightly hot and if you’re like me, I chose to add extra chili flakes. If I were to come back to Nuremberg this would be the first place I’d come! The employees were all very friendly and 8 euros for probably Bavaria’s best kebab is a steal. Also anyone stuck in the airport, this is just 10 minutes away! You won’t regret it.

It was my favorite kebab shop for a long time, but the new prices are an absolute disgrace, you could say it's a rip-off €6 for a kebab box, considering how much it cost back then, I only visit very rarely or not at all anymore. I would advise everyone to think twice to eat there otherwise the shop is great.

I've never had such a poorly topped kebab for €7. Every time you get a different amount. Sometimes a well-filled and delicious kebab and sometimes this one. That was our last visit. That's not worth €7 to me.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) Been there again after a long time - unfortunately had a very bad experience. We ordered two chicken kebabs and ate them there. We were shocked to discover that some of the chicken was not cooked properly! Unfortunately, we had already eaten half of the kebab at this point. I pointed out to the store manager that this shouldn't be done as it poses a serious health risk - especially for my pregnant friend. But instead of dealing with the problem, the employee just shrugged his shoulders and said: “Yes, lunch break always has to be quick because there is a lot going on.” This statement stunned me! Time pressure should never be an excuse for poor hygiene and improper preparation. Uncooked chicken can have serious health consequences! An apology? None. Compensation or reimbursement? Not either. More attention must be paid to hygiene and correct preparation. Actually a clear case for the food authority! We won't eat here anymore.

I wanted a slightly spicy kebab and got the hottest kebab in the world. It just doesn't go well with the kebab. Otherwise pretty boring taste.

Disaster! Went there yesterday, first repeated the order 10 times, waited for half an hour for the guy to prepare a salad plate with a bit of meat - repeated again at the 11th time, salad then meat and kebab sauce ready, nothing more was asked for. Afterwards I got a kebab plate with fries, which is not possible, especially after half an hour. Everything was swimming in fat and meat couldn't be gotten from just raw meat. Tapeworms are guaranteed. And the employee is laughing cheekily the whole time! The boss just drank on the cay with his family, didn't do anything when he was called, didn't do anything shortly before leaving the shop even though he was the boss and paid €65 for raw meat and fat!

I have known the previous owner of this Lafeb for over 18 years. He previously had the Karakaya Döner snack bar on the same street and handed it over to another one. After that the quality was no longer the same. Now he has also sold Grillmeister to his employee. Here, too, the quality fell very rapidly. Today I had an argument with the Grillmeister employee because he didn't fry the meat properly! Since I have seen this lack of quality many times, I will no longer set foot in this store. You have to fear for your health if you are served raw meat! If I want to eat raw meat, I go to a Chinese place and eat sushi and not to a Turkish place or a kebab stand!!! It's a shame that the new owner can no longer maintain the quality!

Tip for new visitors: The Dürüm is a lot bigger than the kebab in the bread ;)

Terrible! I used to be a regular customer there because the quality was once good. Back today after a long time. Falafel Dürüm: big but poor quality. Falafel was completely tasteless and dry, hardly any sauce on the salad, no spices whatsoever, even the flatbread was limp and tasteless. Never again. 👎🏼

The taste of the kebab was okay. Sauce not outstanding. Good price. Service was good and friendly.

And the quality of the kebab varies very, very extremely, you would think that you would be in a different kebab shop every time, the meat tastes different sometimes and sometimes the tomatoes taste very strange. If you tell them not to put cabbage in it, they do it despite it. If you say there's not enough sauce, they make twice as much. Literally, they don't listen. That was my personal experience in this store that I would like to share with you. It's just my opinion based on the experiences I had there.

My long overdue review 😇 for the grill master! I've been visiting the grill master once or twice a week for more than 3 years now And I'm thrilled! I've never had a bad meal there and the service staff are all very friendly. The store is often very full, which is also a sign that the price-performance ratio is right! The kebab bread is made and baked in-house. The meat is ordered fresh from a butcher and not bought ready-made, as is the case with so many. (finished skewer) When we asked whether we could have more meat and sauce, the customer's wishes were completely satisfied. I think the store is very clean and I like the atmosphere. Based on many years of experience, I can only report positive things about the grill master and I can only recommend everyone to visit this kebab, which for me personally is one of the best kebabs I have ever eaten. Then enjoy your hunger everyone!

A few years ago it was one of the best stores, holding up well overall. I've been there a few times in the last few months and either a colleague was caught being unfriendly and shouting at me, even though I wanted to pay in cash and he had already switched the cash register to card. Then once I gave 10 euros and got 2 euros back as change. Two euros worth of shit and a friendly laugh. I don't know if it was the boss, but he was an older gentleman with a belly. So some people really think that just because you're not from here they can do anything with you? There are also good colleagues and that's why there is a plus point. Food is still okay. But there are better ones. That's why I always go to the other store, it tastes better and the people are correct. 😉

Although I specifically order a kebab with turkey, beef has been mixed in twice now. I don't eat that and can fish the beef out of mine first... Sorry but that's not possible.

The best kebab in the world (maybe). If my parents said "we're going to this kebab shop in town." I would get so mad because the good orange sauce (I don't know how to spell it) wasn't available at this kebab shop. And for me we're just too grilled Master go. I miss Germany sooooo much because I live in Greece.

I have to be honest, it wasn't my taste. The bread didn't get any love or wasn't warmed up, overall the kebab was much too sweet, I couldn't check whether it was the bread or the sauce or even the cabbage, I ate turkey, the skewers (also a skewer with beef ) actually looked okay. The salad was OK too, but it lacked acidity. I still felt nauseous the rest of the day, probably because of the intrusive sweetness.

By far Nuremberg's best kebab. The Dürum is simply amazing.

A kebab plate only consists of 9/10 fries and 1/10 meat plus salad, which only consists of onions. Unfortunately, it has diminished significantly. :( I'm gone now as a regular customer!

Very disappointing... I was no longer a regular customer at this kebab shop from now on!!! The meat of the Dürüm was inedible and as you can see in the picture it is DEFINITELY RAW!!!! After I wanted to complain about the meat to the owner of the fast food joint, he pointed out that the meat was normal and that he had already complained to the supplier. In my opinion, this is complete nonsense - the employees are either too incompetent or have a kink in their appearance because the meat was in no way "done". I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone!!!

Solid kebab at an unbeatable price. Positive: - The kebab costs only 6.50 euros. Unfortunately, the normal price today is around 8 euros. - The kebab is properly filled. You are guaranteed to be full. - If you ask for a lot of salad, they won't be stingy here. There is actually a lot of salad thrown on top. Negative: - Unfortunately, the bread is only put in the oven for a short time and not grilled until crispy in the contact grill. Otherwise the kebab is completely solid. Unfortunately I'm missing the extraordinary (lemon juice, pomegranate seeds, special sauces), but for the price the complaining is at a high level.
