Absolutely delicious. Terrible name for the restaurant really… doesn’t let you know how great the food is and I assumed it was a burger place. The eggplant, chicken etc all spices for the gods. Will be back here frequently.

The food is ok but somehow not fully meeting the exepectations. The waiters were sitting at one of the tables and smoking, which was not the atmosphere we were looking for. Their halwa cookie was good.

I ordered hummus with extra beef on the side. The hummus was good but unfortunately the portion was extremely small especially for an 11 Euro Hummus plate without any topping. I am really disappointed as the reviews here and on uber eats were really good and i was excited to try this place. Unfortunately I will not order from there again as this portion is just too small although the quality and flavors are good. Note for the owner: if this is supposed to be a starter and this is the price please make it clear so people don't get confused. Answer to the owner: Your comment is really offensive. I order frequently in Berlin hummus and the portions are decent but this one was just too small. In the picture it does look half full but in reality it was a quarter full. The meal was hummus without an egg so i did not remove anything.

The place was rather empty when I arrived, though admittedly this could be because it was a rainy thursday afternoon. It's self-service, but the employee was very friendly and carefully cleaned my table when I asked. I ordered the hummus with chicken as well as a rhubarb lemonade, and I have to be honest that I was rather disappointed. I do like that the hummus had some tahin sauce in it, and the food was ready really quickly (suspiciously so), but the chicken and sides were not warm enough, and they could've used more spices. The egg on top had a good texture, but likely pre-cooked and therefore wasn't as good as the typical ramen age. The pita (lebanese bread) was really good though.

I can't recommend this place enough! I reached out to inquire about gluten-free options and ended up having one of the best meals in the city. The owner, who is also the chef, came in on his day off to personally ensure there was no risk of cross-contamination. The hummus, as many have said, is probably the best you'll find. We shared a Biryani that could easily feed five people—delicious and perfectly spiced. Their spiced chicken is just amazing. Highly recommended, especially for celiacs or anyone seeking a savory meal.

Lovely location on a cute street opposite beautiful old church. We had the Arabic spiced chicken and the Bademjam on hummus. Out of this world taste. And then the cookies ! Lightning fast service. Reasonably priced. Plus the owner is so warm, friendly and shares openly about his experiences. Loved chatting with him. Too bad it is our last night in Berlin, otherwise we would come back. Thank you for treating us so well !

Very good food and superb service but limited seating.

Came for a quick lunch with my teenage daughters. One daughter has celiac disease and can eat only gluten-free food. As soon as I mentioned it, the chef / owner said "I get it completely; my ex-girlfried has celiac and I know all about it." He quickly went through each menu item, telling us which were gluten-free, which could be made gluten-free, and which she should avoid. We all agreed the food was excellent, and my daughter appreciated very much having a lot of choices. What a delight.

Had dinner there with a friend and we chose the spiced chicken and we weren't disappointed. It was to the point and in combination with the spices, a dream. We were also very impressed with the sauces, a perfect combination We'll definitely be back.

My favorite dish is the Arabic Spiced Chicken.. can never go wrong with that and now just recently tried the extra spicy version of the Biryani chicken with rice and it was the REAL DEAL!! So many places in Berlin that claim to have a spicy dish but it’s just mid..but here you will see that they aren’t messing around!!

I just ordered and was extremely pleasantly surprised. It tastes great, but it would be cool if salads were offered. Without salad it is a bit dry

Stopped in for a snack and ended up trying much more great food. The man working was really friendly, he made us fresh orange juice and showed us pictures of his adorable dog, Moose. Would highly recommend stopping in!

I found something completely different than what was presented to me via Neo Taste and the appearance in Google. Chaotic, uncomfortable, dingy atmosphere. Complete silence with no music. Service is offered virtually without words. The taste of the food was ok. Small portions, not fresh. Completely exaggerated prices for what you get.

They have a chicken biryani on the menu now, which was absolutely fantastic. Rich, earthy, bright, and flavourful, it has everything you want from a biryani that you don't find at most restaurants in Berlin!

My cash is worthless in this store? Yes, it is. They won't take your cash, only cards. And now they are also hiring shady companies to remove bad reviews. Sorry but criticism shouldn't be fought with censorship. You don't take cash cause it's more work for you. Lazy. Btw, my comment is here because I had to answer a formal letter of removal, requested by you. So you are fighting criticism with censorship, it just didn't work this time. And please, don't lie to people saying you do this for transparency. Every purchase can be accounted for in cash as well, you don't need a digital signature and personal data of all your customers. You just don't want to deal with having change every day or maybe you don't trust your employees. How come every single spot in Berlin takes cash but you won't? Get real

Arabic chicken at The Eatery used to be my absolute favorite lunch, but over the years my experience has severely deteriorated. Apart from getting more expensive (just like any restaurant really), the portion is now heavily reduced. I remember having this 3 years ago and being almost too full to finish my plate, and now the single portion is simply not enough. I don’t understand, the meal has nothing fancy, it’s rice, hummus, labne and spiced chicken. Such a shame, it’s difficult to find a simple yet tasty dish in Berlin. I still give everything else 5* just because I love the place, but I think management should be aware that old customers will probably not stick around anymore. The key of a good restaurant is knowing how to consistently deliver an amazing experience.

Very bad service, staff was not welcoming and very neglectful, zero warmth in the place. Food was mediocre and obviously (not even well) microwaved. It’s mainly a place doing deliveries and doesn’t offer a nice atmosphere to eat inside

The food may be good but "No service, no cash and no German" is a little too much Prenzl Berg at once. The furnishings are also quite spartan. Well, whoever likes it! :-)

The chicken is literally one of the most delicious morsels of food that you can find in Berlin (a city that is normally barren of spice). The person running the place is so passionate about the food and it really shows. You have to try this place! My only suggestion would be to add a tiny bit of veg or salad or something to complete the dish. Otherwise total perfection and cannot recommend this place enough.

Passion for cooking and an appreciation of great flavour combinations is clear to see at this unassuming eatery. We stumbled upon this restaurant at lunch time by chance. Upon entering we were greated with a very pleasant aroma and a very friendly memeber of staff. The decor was quite bland industrial and boring however the food and service was anything but. We ordered the Bedjamen on Hummus with Arabic chicken which was served with a warm loaf of bread. Every element on the dish was excellent. We left the place raving about what we had just ate and remembered it for the remainder of our holiday.

Food was okay, but comparing it with the pictures you can see here the portion of rice versus the protein you order is different. I ordered the aubergine and it was tasty but it wasn't that big and came with way to much rice. The price is too expensive for what you get and there isn't a real service as it is more self service style.

We love Arabic chicken. It is one of our favorite meals in whole Berlin! For me, one of the best things was the sabal that went alongside it. Unfortunately you guys just changed the sabal and it is very salty and does not taste good :( I heard you have trouble with importing the original sambal but please continue to try to get it again. Without it the dish is not the same for me anymore. :( Will you get it back soon? Thank you so much & we love you guys Alex

Da Eatery servono cucina mediorientale contemporanea, sana e gustosa, servita con cura e spiccata capacità di presentazione: le pietanze non solo sono davvero buone, ma anche esteticamente molto invitanti! Il locale, nel quartiere di Mitte, è piccolo ma accogliente, perfetto per una pausa pranzo da soli o in compagnia di un paio di colleghi/amici. I prezzi sono contenuti. È possibile pranzare in loco oppure scegliere la formula takeaway/delivery.

Small restaurant with inside and outside seating, great fresh handmade food, friendly attentive waitress, good prices.

Well worth a visit - the food is amazing, interesting and delicious. You enter, and the exotic smells of spices and chicken tantalise you, and you have no option but to choose something. You pay, take your cutlery and go out to a street table with a buzzer. The smell dances in your nostrils until after just a few minutes, the buzzer screams. At last, you eat, and your mouth sings to the same tune.

Ich bin leider total enttäuscht worden: Über UberEats bestellt und abgezockt worden: 1. Das Kamouneya kostet bei UberEats 4€ mehr, dass sind über 30% mehr. Wie ist das zu rechtfertigen, wenn ich sogar noch eine Liefergebühr bezahlen muss? 2. die Menge des Kamouneya sieht auf dem Bild viel größer aus, als es wirklich der Fall ist auf dem Bild sieht man mindestens 12-15 Fleischstücke, es waren nur 5 kleine Stücke Fleisch im Gericht. 3. Geschmacklich war es in Ordnung, nur leider kalt! Ich hätte mich gerne direkt bei der Eatery beschwert, nur leider gibt es keine Telefonnummer. Achtung, hier wird man abgezockt und hinters Licht geführt!

Since I tried one of their specialty sandwiches during Corona, I wanted to come back to try their signature dish - the Arabic Spicy Chicken. 🤤 The hummus, the labneh and that spicy sauce combined with the perfectly juicy chicken have been an absolute delight! 👌🏼😁 My colleagues had the Arabic Spicy Veggies and were as happy. You pretty much cannot go wrong if you give The Eatery a try. 👍🏼

Small little restaurant that does a lot of takeaway! Note, there is no toilet here. Service was very friendly, though our waitress did not speak much German. Food took a little longer than expected to arrive, but was worth the wait. Very tasty, great portion sizes and a good range of choices to choose from.

Good food, simple, delicious, staff is friendly, seating is limited, when it is warm it is nice outside. If there is one thing I can be annoying about is that the rice was a bit dry and needed a tiny little bit of salt. Other than that a nice casual place. I am sad they don't work on weekends, not easy to get there for lunch if your office is on the other side of Berlin, but in the end this is a subjective thing, nothing to do with the place.

Exquisite cuisine, nice and cozy Place and friendly and smiling personnel! The bademjan(eggplant) was delicious and I also had the Lemongrass chicken which was out of this world. My friend Had the Arabic spiced chicken, very particular and tasty! Definitely a 'Must Go' Place in this area!

I have been here several times and the quality is quite high and the staff is nice, nevertheless this time we took 2 dishes with chicken and basically there was no humus at all. Besides I have been trying to get the carrot cake since 6 months without any luck, it's always in the menu but never available unfortunately. I was a bit disappointed this time to be honest!

Unfassbar leckeres Essen!! Nur die sich ständig (!) ändernden Öffnungszeiten sind wirklich schade! Ich verstehe eure Hintergründe nicht ganz, denn das Essen ist so lecker, wir würden viel öfter bestellen, als wir können. 3x die Woche nur Mittags aufzuhaben ist leider nicht ausreichend. Daher einen Stern Anzug. Stellt bitte mehr Leute ein, damit wir auch in Zukunft noch mehr von diesen wirklich fantastischen Essen haben können! 💯👌🏻Danke!!

I got there at 15:00 , 1 hour before they close and wanted to take out some food. They told me they are already closed . I told them then change your hours online. The manager got very rude, smiled sarcastically and told me to leave. Absolutely no customer service and very rude. Very very disappointing!

Interesting place. Very unique and charming (Berlin industrial style). The chicken is tender and well done, but hummus is served cold! If you are looking for a belly warming protein boost - be warned.

Good food, but the opening times on google maps are misleading. It says they are closing at 16 at lunch, but when I came to them around 15 they said they are always closing at 15 and just forgot to update the time here. I was in a hurry and needed to worry and quickly search for a new place to eat… Two days has passed since then and I see they sill havent updated the time here, and it takes literally one minute…

The Arabic spiced chicken was flavorful. (Mind you flavorful food is hard to find in Germany as most food here taste very mild like eating air) The sweet potatoes and eggplant were on point. Perfectly roasted. Everything that we ordered taste really good and healthy. This is one of my favorite restaurant in Berlin! Service was friendly. Place was clean and relax. If you are around Mittel this is a definite a good spot to meet up. (Would be nice if they have non caffeinated hot drinks.🍵)

Food is just sooo good and unique. We eat here regularly and keep hoping that it's open (since opening hours change). Very flavourful, writing this makes me want to eat it again :) Not the coziest place to sit, but the food is worth it. There's also enough space inside to fit a stroller.

Food is good but the portion size for 12 Eur is ridiculous. We told the guy but nothing happened. Apparently portions used to be bigger, so not like the pictures anymore

Usually good, but sat for lunch today before 1pm and was told all but two of the menu items were available. Ended up paying €11 for half a sweet potato. I can't eat dairy and asked if I could swap the Labne for hummus, but was told that regardless of the swap it would still cost €3 to add.

Es war lecker und perfekt fürs Mittagessen. Allerdings war das Lemongrass Chicken etwas zu salzig und der Reis ein bisschen zu trocken, also nach meinem Geschmack. Daher 1 Stern Abzug. Alles andere war gut.

Nice place for levantine/middle east food. A relatively short selection of best food they cook. The chefs are from India and Croatia who enjoy cooking.

Our favorite meal during our week in Berlin. Each bite was like an adventure of flavors, with so many delicious spices popping through. It was a bit higher priced for lunch, but very well worth it, both due to the delicious food and friendly service.

Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, mit der beste Hummus den ich in Berlin hatte und auch das Hähnchen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Mein Lieblingslokal auf uber eats! Das einzige was ich etwas bemängeln muss sind die neuen Öffnungszeiten und die Verfügbarkeit von Gerichten, zumindest auf uber eats. Leider wohne und arbeite ich zu weit weg, weswegen ich bestellen muss :/ Ich würde mich freuen wenn ihr wieder länger auf hättet und wenn es auch mal Sachen außerhalb der regulären Karte zu uber eats schaffen. Aber kein Grund für mich Sterne abzuziehen, das Essen ist wirklich absolute Spitze!

Great food! Very tasty! I am going there very often. However, when i ordered once via an application, this was more expensive than usual and i also found it smaller... This is a pity ... As a restaurant you are using external apps to make sure that you get advertisement and extra customers. This expense should not be granted to your customers who are ordering online.

I rushed to make the 15pm last order and I made it, I was in the restaurant at 15pm. The person before me ordered but the staff told me that I was too late and I needed to come again tomorrow. I understand they are just doing their job but it was very disappointing 😔
