The best baked potato in Hamburg

The night before, we went to the Seehaus and paid four times for the food, but it was better. The lady was super nice :)

The baked potato was not filling at all. It was not tasty either. It seemed like there was no cheese or butter. There are much better ones in Istanbul. It was the wrong choice for me.

I usually order kumpir during my lunch break, but this pizza was just as delicious.

This place was perfect for my kid who has many allergies! The atmosphere and service were great. The potatoes are delicious.

For the past two to three months, an advertisement for the lunchtime special "Pizza for €9.99" between noon and 2 p.m. has been hanging in the window, as you can see in the first photo. I wanted to test it out yesterday with a friend. Upon entering, we were simply asked whether we were picking up or wanted to eat in. We wanted to eat in. Afterward, we weren't given any further attention. The person turned around and immediately started preparing potatoes. Since we weren't the only customers, we assumed the other customers would be served first. Nevertheless, the behavior seemed strange; they could have at least taken our order. After two to three minutes, it turned out that the potatoes were for us, whereupon we clarified that we wanted pizza, not potatoes. This wasn't well received, and they tried to persuade us to have potatoes instead. We persisted, however, with the pizza, which we ultimately received—after some discussion. The pizza was fine in terms of size and toppings, but the base was relatively dry and hard. I wouldn't order it again. When we paid, we were charged the regular price; the lunch special was apparently over (we were there around 1 p.m., so definitely during the special). We didn't discuss it any further; the initial discussion about whether we should get a potato was enough for us. We decided that this would be our only and last attempt there.

Very delicious food. The owner is a super-nice woman. I can recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely be back.

The kumpir was very tasty and the service was very friendly. All the ingredients were fresh, you could see that and taste it. There are enough seats available and there is also a terrace with seating.

I was here for the first time today and I'm absolutely thrilled! The Kumpir was super tasty – fresh, generously topped and perfectly seasoned. I particularly liked the combination with chicken, couscous, Russian salad and jalapeños – highly recommended! But not only was the food great, the lady on site was also incredibly warm and friendly. You immediately feel welcome. I will definitely come back – absolute recommendation!

Ate a kumpir for the first time in my life and was more than thrilled! It tastes very good and everything is fresh. The owner is very nice and accommodating. I would love to come back at any opportunity!

Unfortunately, despite the name, “The best baked potato” is not the program here. The large vegetarian selection is positive, there are a lot of toppings. Unfortunately the portions are very small. When putting it together, you only use one tablespoon per ingredient. If you want more, it counts as a double topping or you pay extra. This means that a portion to fill you up quickly becomes quite expensive. The toppings taste quite good, but I don't think the sauces are that good. This makes the Kumpir a bit tasteless overall; it could be much spicier. The staff is friendly. However, the atmosphere for sitting is not super cozy, it is more of a to-go snack. Overall, I don't think the price-performance ratio is right here.

Good day, Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to try the food. It says on the internet and on the door that it is open until 8 p.m. and in winter until 4 p.m. But since it's not winter yet, I'm wondering why it's already closed at 7 p.m. I am very disappointed because I drove an extra 30 minutes here. I was actually just there to ask if I could use the toilet. She explained to me, business-like as the lady was. The toilet was only for customers so I bought an ice cream. In the end she still charged me 1 euro for going to the toilet. The ice cream didn't taste good and the toilet wasn't clean.

We had dinner there and it was super delicious. The owner was very helpful and hospitable. We felt very comfortable. The store is highly recommended for good value for money, a nice atmosphere and friendly staff :)

I can definitely recommend this place. The food is delicious and the toppings are always freshly prepared. It is possible to take the food with you. This is very relaxing and can be combined with a walk.

I really like the concept. Here you get a good baked potato - but especially in exciting, exotic versions. In the picture in “Mexican”. So you can try things out. The atmosphere is playful and the staff is friendly. The shop is bright and invites you to have lunch for two.

I ordered food via the Too Good to Go app, so please understand my review from this perspective. I know that I can get food from a shop or restaurant at a very reduced price, but here neither the food nor the service (the owner herself) was up to par and it doesn't make me want to go there again as a "full-paying" person. If the ladies were hoping to generate new customers by advertising on Too Good to Go, then I was really scared off today. Not a kind word, the portion was ridiculous (a total of 3-4 tablespoons of potatoes, a spoonful of beetroot and some cucumber and salad dressing) and then there was an eyebrow twitch when I handed over the bowl I had brought with me. Well, others can really do it better and I'm happy to spend money on good food. This was a test for me to see whether the shop could do something, but the concept really doesn't work. I also don't understand how you get involved with Too Good when they're open until 8pm and then start throwing out deals at 2:30pm. When it comes to acquiring new customers, you have to deliver. But that's not the concept of Too Good to Go, it's expressly about customers getting what's left. But even that was really not enough here. But as I said: complaining on a high level, but I certainly won't go there again. If anyone has watched the Instagram promotional video, they will be disappointed.

Great concept and very nice staff. There should be a lot more often. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fair, especially for such delicious and healthy food. I had the salmon Kumpir and thought it was great. It would be even better if the vegetables were warm too, but that would probably be too much effort. It's a shame there was no soft ice cream, but no wonder in November. I'll probably have to come back again in the summer when I'm back in Hamburg 😊

Zufällig haben wir den Laden entdeckt, als wir auf der Suche nach Eis waren. Das Softeis kommt aus Dänemark und hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Im Laden waren alle super lieb und herzlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in Hamburg sind :)

즉석으로 빨리 만들어주지만, 의외로 식사 대용 가능하다. 양이 많고, 재료의 종류도 다양하다.

The food was quite tasty but nothing special, the atmosphere and interior were quite bland though. Also at the end we were given the wrong total, off by 11€ and when we asked about it, it was wrong a second time until we calculated it correctly ourself which was rather odd. Also apparently the Credit Card terminal was already turned off or something so it wasnt possible to pay by card and we had to go get some cash which was irritating

Den Laden haben wir zufällig beim spazieren in Hafen City entdeckt. Super Location, tolle Bedingungen, nette Atmosphäre und last but not least, Bester Kumpir! Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir in Hamburg sind ☺️

Für eine schnelle Mittagpause ganz angenehm. Preis Leistung ist gut. Atmosphäre trotz netter Bestuhlung etwas zu laut, da der Tresen Bereich nicht von den Sitzgelegenheiten abgegrenzt ist - also hört man viel geklapper und jede Bestellung mit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt auch problemlos Sonderwünsche.

Die neue Inhaberin ist sehr nett & zuvorkommend. Alle Zutaten und Kartoffeln werden täglich neu zubereitet, was man auch rausschmeckt. Mein Favorit ist der Kumpir „Istanbul Style“. Immer wieder gerne hier 👍

Sehr nette Verkäuferin, gute Auswahl und Super lecker. Man kann schön im oder außerhalb des Restaurants sitzen und das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist Spitze!

Schöne, ruhige Lage. Kumpir „Istanbul Style“ war lecker, Bedienung war freundlich.

Sehr lecker und nette Bedienung. Der Preis ist leider höher als die meisten in Hamburg, aber dafür eine schöne Lage.
