Very tasty food, decent portions and a very good beer.

Great Schäuferla…..but unfortunately….. We actually wanted to eat duck, which was on the menu but had probably not been available for a while…. And the fact that even though the dessert order was taken before 9 p.m. and then the kitchen suddenly closed is not a proper orientation towards a satisfied guest... it's a shame

Online reservation didn't work, nobody knew about it even though the reservation had been confirmed online. We still just got a table, food is ok. Weller beer is a matter of taste, mine is not. All in all, a recommendation if you don't plan on coming by car.

Very appealing ambience in the large dining room with some slightly separated areas at the edge. Very good cuisine, perfect service. Prices raised. Reservation recommended, but not always necessary. Also suitable for carting.

Everything superlative Impeccable service

Very funny location. Electricity generation and economy in one building. The furnishings have a lot of flair, not a typical inn but rather a spacious hall. At the top of the gallery there are 8 tons of home-brewed beer in steel barrels. The generator is running next door - inaudible. The menu also includes several vegetarian main courses! You should definitely eat the cabbage rolls filled with buckwheat. Delicious tomato sauce, delicious puree, delicious salad. Meat eaters don't miss out either. Extensive drinks list. The staff is consistently friendly. Unfortunately, our service man was pushy; I guess I wanted to set the mood. Regardless: The Thalermühle is recommended.

This unique venue is located in the former power plant of an old mill, offering a charming and distinctive atmosphere, perfect for celebrations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special place to host an event.

Honest, excellent quality, Franconian "soul food" without unnecessary frills. Both Schäufele and Gans were simply good! Service was super friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Gladly again!

I would like to write in a little more detail. We recently reserved a table on a Friday evening. When we arrived, the waitress gave us a "Monday menu" without comment. When we asked, we were given a normal version with drinks and the information that only the dishes on the reduced menu were available. The reason is probably a lack of staff in the kitchen. At the bar there was a notice for a current special beer. That wasn't available to us either, only to our fellow shareholders. That really annoyed us and that's why there are only 3 well-intentioned stars. The food was delicious and the service was able to organize a lot more from the kitchen. The dining room is very nice, but the seating was so tight that some people were constantly jostling. To sum up: we didn't really feel welcome. Too bad! ...but we'll try again because it could be nice...

We left the Thalermühle fed up and happy. Everything was really good, the food was great, the service was top notch, the price was reasonable and absolutely fine. So ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice restaurant on Wiesengrund near the large parking lot. Delicious Franconian food, something for everyone. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is a clipboard, this could still be improved. Toilets are available on the upper floor, a baby changing room and a toilet for people with disabilities are available on the ground floor. Unfortunately, there are few parking spaces in front of the door; these should be left to guests with walking difficulties. A short walk and you have enough parking space at the Erlangen large car park. I didn't see any play options for the little ones, so it's better to take activity materials with you.

Delicious. Fast service. Not that cheap. The "pink fried pork tenderloin" was not pink, but still very tasty. We were all very satisfied. The beer also tastes very good.

Super tasty food, large portions, top service and fair prices. The dining room is a bit rustic, down to the cobwebs in the higher elevations, but cozy.

For the steam beer brewed on site only for friends with min. Asking for 500 euros per month is a big impudence...it's not that great by the way...I've already tried it...but the scenery and surroundings are still great!! Update: 500 rags once for the home brew Of course, beers are still way too expensive🙈🙈. Greetings from a local 😉

We were passing through and spontaneously stopped here. Very friendly service, we even brought water to the dog without us having to ask. The food was also very good.

Nice beer garden, service depends a bit on the day. Parking for bicycles on site, cars have to go to the large parking lot nearby. Portions are rather large in my opinion, take a Tupperbox with you if you want to save waste.

Nice little beer garden, somewhat secluded just outside Erlangen. Service was super nice and food was great. The menu offers Franconian cuisine and always something additional that is not on the menu. Unfortunately there are no play facilities for smaller children.

Very very nice. The decor is awesome, the beer is good and the food is delicious (the schnitzels were fried in a pan with butter to taste). The service was also super friendly and there were coloring books and crayons for the children. I'll definitely come here more often! I can't wait for their own beer to be brewed there and I'm already looking forward to the beer garden next summer.

Authentic local brewery. I liked the lager a lot. Great amount of food. Actually the portion was too big for all of us. But delicious.

You have to be able to eat Schäufele with a spoon and that's what you do here. The sauce with it is also super tasty and definitely not a packet sauce. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere was also very nice. The beer garden on the Regnitz is also nice. Very cozy. (:

I can't judge food. We were there just for a beer during a bike tour. Outside the opening times. Still super friendly and the beer was simply great. Will definitely go there again and then also for dinner. So all in all worth a visit.

Very tasty food, I had by far the best Schäuferle here. The ambience is amazing, with a beautiful view of the Regnitz. The service was unbeatable, always friendly and always with the right message.

I ordered and ate homemade spaetzle, spaetzle was not homemade, spaetzle cheese was convenience sauce, asked the waiter beforehand if there was homemade spaetzle, confirmed, later asked the second waiter, said no and then said yes, actually no homemade spaetzle and sauce was "horrible". There was also a note on the internet that additives were used for shelf life... but not available on the local menu... Colleagues had eaten Schäufle and were satisfied, but I also saw that phosphates, flavor enhancers, etc. were used.... All in all, simply a “no go” experience in my experience!

A bit remote and inconspicuous, but a pearl. From the friendly service, the rustic but cozy atmosphere, many tasty beers to honest local dishes - you won't miss anything here. The scooping was excellent, the wheat beer was tasty - we'll be back.

The food is delicious, the service is a smooth 12/10 and the look of the restaurant is super modern but at the same time it has an older style. Overall, this store more than deserves the 5 stars in every area.

We had our Christmas party here. The food was good overall. I liked the Kaiserschmarrn as a dessert the best, along with the horseradish soup as a starter. The atmosphere is nice and the service was friendly, but we often forgot the drinks we ordered.

We went to the Thalermühle for the first time today and we really enjoyed it there. The service was very friendly, the food was served quickly and tasted very good (we had Schäuferla and Hirsch). Plus a good beer and everything in an original setting! The only small points of criticism: the path to the Thalermühle leads over a footbridge without any lighting, and it was a little too cold in the restaurant for our taste. But overall a very nice evening!

Sehr idyllische, ruhige Lage abseits der Verkehrsströme. Leider kam ich außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten an, weshalb ich über Speisen und Getränke sowie den Service nichts berichten kann. Das wird aber beim nächsten Besuch Erlangens unbedingt nachgeholt!

Absolut begeistert von meinem Besuch in diesem Lokal! Das Essen war außergewöhnlich lecker, und der Service übertraf alle Erwartungen – so freundlich und zuvorkommend. Obwohl es keine direkten Parkmöglichkeiten vor Ort gab, war der größere Parkplatz nur einen kurzen 3-minütigen Fußweg entfernt, was überhaupt kein Problem darstellte. Insgesamt eine wundervolle Zeit mit meinen Kollegen! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen in der Thalermühle. Wir waren angenehm überrascht vom Service . Das Essen, gute Bürgerliche Küche, war ausgezeichnet. Das Bier von der eigenen Brauerei war sehr gut. Reichhaltige Speisekarte und tolles Ambiente hat uns überzeugt. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste mal.

Update: Mittlerweile muss man zu den beliebten Zeiten einen Platz reservieren. Lala hat der Thalermühle richtig Schwung gegeben. Prima Location!

etwas abseits, doch empfehlenswert. Im Flussauenbereich völlig alleine stehend, gibt es unmittelbar an der Brauerei und dem Biergarten dennoch keine Parkplätze. Dafür in wenigen Schritten vom Großparkplatz erreichbar. Der Gastraum traditionell eingerichtet. Trotz Vollbesetzung an dem Tag nicht zu laut. Die Speisen ebenso traditionell, auffallend groß portioniert und perfekt zubereitet. Vielleicht der 2. Kloß beim Schäuferle fehlend. Die Bierkarte hält für jeden etwas bereit, die Weinkarte übersichtlich. Die Bedienung freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell.
