I showed up in Frankfurt following a 5 hour train ride, hungover and hating myself. Decided to grab some spring rolls from ThaiTime, might just be the best spring rolls I've ever eaten. I felt like a new man.

I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at "Spé Sim" restaurant. I noticed that the bill included charges for items I never ordered, as well as significantly inflated prices. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and feels like outright theft. When I questioned the charges, I did not receive a clear or satisfactory explanation. Such practices damage the restaurant’s reputation and break the trust of customers. I hope serious action will be taken to prevent this from happening again. Sincerely.

The service at this restaurant was incredibly disrespectful —the waiter added extras I never asked for, and the receipt didn't include my exact order on purpose to scam customers without them noticing. When I questioned the bill, he suddenly acted like he didn’t understand English, even though he was perfectly fluent one minute ago. Then there's the crazy grandma that showed up screaming at me as if I was commiting a crime or something. The whole thing felt manipulative, and while the food was okay at best, it certainly wasn’t worth the stress or shady behavior.

Nice selection, good taste, correct prices and big portions which was great. All in all very good. I recommend.

Pad Thai with chicken is delicious. The size is pleasantly big and price is reasonable.

We found it by chance looking for something for dinner and the truth is that everything we tried was very good. The owners very friendly.

I was there at 11:30 a.m., the store should be ready for business by then. The owner hadn't even prepared the kitchen, told me in English "the chef isn't there" and made me wait 20 minutes. I told her politely that I was happy to wait. But she never came to take the order, but then she got a call and then she started cooking?! I spoke to her and she just said with half an ear while cooking, without even looking at me, that she was “overwhelmed”. She said I should “order the simplest things possible.” 1. People don't understand German here 2. The opening time was not kept, I had to waste my time 3. People don't approach you, don't even look at you, as a customer you have no idea how to behave 4.At the end I should order something that SHE WANTS I can well imagine that the store would normally have been different. The cook seems to be missing, the owner must be overwhelmed. But if you've been running a store for a long time, you have to make sure that the store runs smoothly. If not, don't open the store...? If it is not possible to take orders due to an accident, then allow it. I ended up having to leave the store. The owner didn't seem to mind... I didn't feel taken seriously as a customer at all. This is intended to be constructive feedback. I wish in the future they only open the store when it is ready for operation.

I’m Thai and I’m in Frankfurt for business. I’ve been missing Thai food a lot, and this place is amazing — so many delicious dishes!

I went there because Koreans had good reviews, and it was really delicious.. It's shockingly delicious.. I added pad thai + chicken, added shrimp to a tom yum goong-like soup, and added duck to fried rice. It was all so delicious. The owner was very friendly and even took credit card! The store is quite large and nice. Ordering and receiving food are all self-service! I want to stop by next time I come to Frankfurt. May you prosper, boss^^

The dining environment is relaxed and comfortable, and the food is quite delicious; however, the dish I ordered should have lemongrass, but it actually didn't, which is a pity.

Whenever I'm at the train station in Frankfurt, I get something to eat here. I usually always have rice lit curry. It's super delicious! You get the food very quickly, which is convenient. I can highly recommend Thaitime!

Great food. The older lady (maybe one of the owners) working there is super nice to talk to and helpful, speaks English too. Like the look of the place and the "self serving" idea behind it is cool too (you pick your dish up when it's ready, take the dishes/bottles back to their place).

I had a nice time here. I ate the red curry and duck and it was okay. The place was less busy when I visited and that's great. I marked the service as 3 although I had a good server but I feel better needs to be done when you enter in explaining that it's a self service and where you can find some items. My friend and I were sitting by the side so when we got served we didn't have any cutlery and had to ask for it and it just came, we had to ask for serviette before we were told it's self service and where I could get the serviette from. Overall, I will recommend this place.

Best Thai food place out there! We visited all the way from Mexico and every plate was made from scratch at the moment. We highly recommend Tom Yum soup and Pad Zitronnengras. Owners are super nice and friendly, a must visit if you’re looking for a good place to eat :)

After returning from Thailand I went to this restaurant and I can say that it feels like eating like in Thailand!

Sunday 12pm. There was already a team waiting in the kitchen, and the Thai grandmother (the owner) personally cooked the food... All you had to do was look at the menu, write down the number of the menu you wanted to eat on a piece of paper, and give it to them... Every time the food was ready, the grandmother shouted at them to take it, which made both people who were already eating and those waiting in line nervous. The food is pretty good, but I really need a kitchen assistant or a cashier. After finishing lunch, the hostess took a break for 1-2 minutes after cooking and went to pay for the cash, but she treated me strangely, as if I had made a mistake... She also gave me the wrong change, so I went to check it again... And I couldn't figure out why my mood was fluctuating while cooking... (Keep in mind that if you order pad thai, you just have to pay extra while choosing tofu or chicken.) Just pay more and go to a clean Thai restaurant with at least 2 basic staff. There is only one person in the store who takes orders, cooks, and pays, so of course she's busy, so please hire someone, the owner's grandmother. If your chef is injured and out of the kitchen, that's your problem.

Good food and incredibly nice service

Unfortunately it wasn't tasty at all. The lady wasn't rude, but she messed up our entire order and wanted to save something somehow and blame us. The drinks weren't that expensive, hence one star ⭐️ but we can't understand the positive review! The €50 hurt us. We're not coming anymore!!!

Super authentic Thai food at fair prices! Worlds better than the Asian shops in the train station. So it's better to go to Thaitime, where the value for money is right. Clear recommendation!

Passed the restaurant after arriving in Frankfurt and sat in because of the nice atmosphere. I was warmly welcomed by a nice lady with whom I immediately started talking about Thai cuisine. Ate an extremely excellent Pad Thai that you can't find anywhere else. And generally had a very nice evening. I can only recommend it to every traveler (like me) or all locals.

You won't find authentic Thai cuisine here. If you suffer from complete confusion of taste, you might see things differently. In terms of taste, at least 50% of all Asian snack bars are better. But they don't claim to be a restaurant. It's worrying that this store actually does it. It's best to give it a wide berth...

Highly recommended Thai food here , big portions and affordable. I had Green Curry Duck with Rice. The Duck is Crispy and tender. Authentic Thai Food. Vegetarian options is also available.

I went here for the first time tonight after reading reviews and the recommendation of hotel staff! It was beyond what I expected! The food was so delicious and tasty! We ordered three dishes - fried rice, pad thai, and tom yum goong - and the portions were huge and the taste was excellent. In particular, the noodles are exceptionally delicious. The chewiness is the best Pad Thai I've ever had.👍 Definitely come!

Had the phad krapow, different to the ones I had in Thailand, had alot more vegetables in , but very tasty and huge portions . Staff speak good English and are friendly. 11 euro so a good deal for the size .

Very nice restaurant with a beautiful open kitchen. It's well located, close to the train station but on one of the main streets so it's away from the train station craziness. We had Pad Thai and fried rice with tofu. The portions were very generous, and the food was delicious! Fresh, simple and tasty. The tofu was perfect, soft and juicy. The service was also very friendly and welcoming, which makes us want to come back!

This restaurant is everything and beyond! Wonderful food, kind owners (family owned) and just such a chill atmosphere. Best Thai food i have EVER had in Germany. Went here multiple days in a row because we knew how delicious it was. Price and portions are also truly amazing.
