Nice staff and simple but nice restaurant. The food is tasty but in my opinion too expensive for the portions. Even my 7 year old son couldn't get enough of the sushi plate. Waiting times were also relatively long. Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars

The food was very tasty, service was friendly, prices were ok but the seating wasn't really nice. The dining room and sanitary facilities are ancient and in need of renovation. Better to pick up food.

Small, nice restaurant with two employees. The sushi here is very tasty. It takes a while to order, but in my opinion the waiting time is worth it. No 5 stars because the food wasn't completely filling.

Sushi is really great! The mixed platter for 2 is particularly good. Nevertheless, I found the sushi with truffle a year ago, for example, much better than it is now.

The restaurant is really very careful, the packaging is of high quality and made of paper (environmentally friendly), unlike other sushi restaurants that use plastic packaging. The food was extremely tasty. Furthermore, the owner and the entire team are very nice and hospitable!

Delicious food at a fair price, although my glass noodles with beef could have been seasoned a little more. The homemade iced tea was very tasty - but contained too much ice to fill the glass. Conclusion: I would like to go there again, overall everything was right for a fair price. 👍

Top restaurant, we haven't had such good Asian food for a long time and were very satisfied. It was very busy and the background noise was a bit loud, but the service had everything under control. I can therefore highly recommend the service as well as the quality of the food. From sushi to pho to homemade lemonade everything was excellent. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to this culinary experience. Keep it up. Our 2-year-old daughter was immediately given a child seat and was warmly welcomed by the staff. There was never a moment where you felt like you weren't welcome with the child.

The food for me today was rather bland and lacked a lot of spice. Certainly ok for a quick meal. I had the feeling that you weren't really welcome with a small child.

(Updated recently) my experience November 2022 : There are absolutely many things different about this sushi bar. I love the ingredients they used like caviar , lime slices and sprouts. And lotus!!!! It was a long time I didn’t eat lotus and suddenly i ate it here. The salmon sashimi set really worths it. And creamy sushi was very delightful. I really wish i could come here more often if the prices could be more flexible. They work only a few hours a day but they serve very energetic and strongly positive. The take away time is also very reasonable. I am really gonna miss this place when i get far from it one day. Also i love the silver splash of color on the main food stone dish. I don’t know how you found this material but it was so beautiful on the black dish. My experience October 2024 : the ratio between price and quantity of the food provided is sillily grown in a country that we hear the inflation is falling. It doesn’t make sense to me. I feel sorry that i have to tell the truth although i had good feelings about them before. 🌹

Was looking for something to eat on the Cannstatt side for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious mango salad, really slightly tasty udon noodles, friendly service and good price-performance ratio. Gladly again.

Too stupid to know Vietnamese, but she looks like a foreigner and understood all the conversations at the checkout =D We went for lunch on Friday and ordered two 71 Bun Bo Nam Bo. Well, you have to mix with the food until you get a comment in Vietnamese "You dig two holes in the two bowls" =D how nice!! 4 points for food, minus 3 for staff! It doesn't work at all.

It was my first time here, but I was completely convinced! All dishes were very tasty. The tempura prawns in particular were an absolute banger! There is also sushi on the menu at really fair prices.

You can sit comfortably outside, there are clean high chairs for you Small children and the staff is very friendly. The sushi is really tasty and reasonably priced. The hot dishes are also good and made primarily with fresh ingredients. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience :)

We spontaneously came across this restaurant through Google Maps after a visit to the zoo. Nice service, very good food and super tasty homemade ice tea. The ambience is also clean and inviting.

We were in Stuttgart at the weekend and were hungry for Asian food. After the reviews on Google were very good, we reserved a table by phone. Everyone was very friendly, the food was excellent and really authentic! Products very fresh and crunchy, sushi at the neighboring table looked very tasty. Can recommend Thai-Viet without hesitation!! July 14, 2024 We were back in Stuttgart and had Thai Viet planned. Like the first time in February 2023, the food was totally delicious and authentic.

Very tasty and reasonable prices.

Certainly ok for a quick, cheap meal. But if you love a bit of flavor and especially Thai food, this is probably not the place for you. My vegetarian red curry was made with cream and barely any coconut milk and very little flavor. Unfortunately not Thai at all. Too bad.

Unfortunately, the prices have doubled from 2023 to 2024, but the owners cannot compare themselves with other sushi restaurants in Stuttgart because it is “just” Cannstatt, simple and therefore NOT attractive anymore. Apart from that, the portions are far too small and NOT Thai but at most simple Vietnamese cuisine, without any special and authentic ingredients. Unfortunately no longer recommended. Very disappointing.

Top quality when it comes to sushi, top quality when it comes to warm cuisine. It used to be an insider tip, but is now quite well attended, and rightly so.

Sushi as a starter was amazing! With some gold as decoration (I thought I was in Nusr-Et). I have yet to visit a sushi shop in Stuttgart that makes this delicious truffle cream. The main course was also very nicely prepared and tasted fabulous. Breaded chicken in a creamy peanut sauce. Service was very courteous, attentive and friendly. Conclusion: They have definitely won us over as new customers! Thanks for the nice evening and see you next time :)

Delicious Asian food, peanut sauce with duck... I can only recommend it. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. Payment can be made in cash or Paypal, until recently no EC card.

Had a spontaneous meal here. Unfortunately, the curry didn't taste like anything and the consistency was more like pudding. The portions were very small, none of us were really full afterwards. Service was great, but wouldn't come again.

simply a disaster - stale frozen goods. You couldn't eat it. I had number 31, the chicken was marinated in some kind of vegetable broth and tasted rancid. The restaurant is an imposition and has nothing to do with Thai cuisine.

Hmm für Stuttgart günstig, aber mir fehlte ein wenig der pep die würze.

Ich bin momentan beruflich in Stuttgart und bin so froh diesen Laden gestern auf Google Maps gefunden zu haben. Das sushi ist sehr gut aber auch das restliche Essen (ich habe zwei Abende in Folge viel zu viel gegessen weil so lecker). Vor allem die nigiri mit flanierten Lachs und Trüffel. Perfekt! Für die Preis Leistung zahlt man in München das 3-5fache (für das sushi mindestens)! Meine “Ausgaben” waren nur so viel, weil ich für 2 gegessen und getrunken habe. Tolles Preis leistungsverhältnis!

Das Essen das wir uns heute nach Hause geholt haben war echt lecker. Das Sushi wurde frisch zubereitet und mega lecker. Nach der Pandemie werden wir auf jeden Fall auch im Lokal speisen, bis dahin holen wir es uns nach Hause. 5.7.21 Zum ersten Mal nicht mit Heim genommen, wir sind entspannt draußen gesessen. Das Essen war super (siehe Bilder, das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wir kommen wieder. Leider ist nur Barzahlung möglich, das ist nicht zeitgemäß.

Wir waren heute spontan hier essen. Ich kannte das Restaurant bereits, jedoch mein Mann nicht. Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt voll kommen. Wir hatte einen großen Hunger und dementsprechend auch einiges zu essen Jedoch war ich immer zu langsam mit dem fotografieren 😅!. Als vorsortiert hatten wir Sommerrollen einmal mit Shrimps, Hähnchen und klassische Edamame. Als Hauptspeise hatte mein Mann das Lachs Pfännchen und ich die Udon Nudeln mit Rind und Garnelen. Außerdem wollte mein Mann noch die Sushi probieren. Wir waren beide zufrieden und sind bei der Menge natürlich auch satt geworden. Ich hatte ein homemade icetea mit Lychee Und Granatapfel. Ich kann’s nur empfehlen. Super freundliche Bedienung und super Service on top noch gutes Essen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Müde nach einem Ganztagesausflug in der Wilhelma, haben wir nach einem Restaurant in der Nähe gesucht und fühlten uns von den vielen positiven Bewertungen angesprochen und haben uns daher für das Thai-Viet entschieden. Das Ambiente mag nicht jedermanns Sache sein, aber was den Geschmack der Speisen angeht, sind wir hellauf begeistert. Megalecker, frisch und knackig und mit perfekt abgestimmter Würze. Der Service war sehr freundlich und herzlich und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das war für uns der perfekte Abschluss eines wunderschönen Tages. Waren vor Ort für Sushi. Essen war gut, Preis Leistungsverhältnis fair. Kann man machen, gibt aber definitiv bessere Sushi woanders….

Ambiente limpo e atendimento muito bom.

Ich bin sehr gerne zu Thai Viet gegangen, hatte allerdings in letzter Zeit schon das Gefühl, dass die Qualität des Sushis nachgelassen hat. Heute war dann leider ein Haar im Essen, auch das Restaurant sah nicht ganz so sauber aus im Eingangsbereich.

Thai Viet war einmal eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Bad Cannstatt. Gestern, auf einem Sonntagnachmittag waren wir dort zu zweit und wurden total enttäuscht - sowohl vom Service als auch vom Essen. Wir nahmen draußen Platz und wurden dort wie andere vier Gäste ignoriert. Der Koch kam einmal raus, begrüßte alle und ging dann wieder. Keine Servicekraft zu sehen, auch nicht, nachdem wir uns die Speisekarte selbst holten. Also wechselten wir an einen Tisch im Restaurant. Dort waren wir die einzigen Besucher, trotzdem dauerte es ewig, bis wir bedient wurden. Wir bestellten 2x die traditionelle Pho-Suppe, ein Mal mit Rind, ein Mal mit Huhn. Wir bekamen dann jeweils eine mickrige Schüssel, die Brühe schmeckte nach nichts, keine Brühe, kein Gewürz, lediglich etwas Minze, kein Koriander. Das Fleisch ebenso mittelmäßig. Die Bedienung stellte uns Sriracha-Soße hin und meinte wir sollten halt nachwürzen. Als ich mich beschwerte, dass die Suppe nicht traditionell ist, ohne Gewürz, wurden Ausreden gesucht, dass die meisten Deutschen kein Koriander mögen und man daher auf die Gewürze verzichte. Man habe dafür ja bisschen Zwiebeln reingemacht… sehr enttäuschend, das war die schlechteste Pho meines Lebens und ich habe schon viele probiert. Als Ausgleich/Entschuldigung angeboten wurde uns nichts. Kartenzahlung auch 2023 noch immer nicht möglich… Die Gyoza zur Vorspeise waren okay und meine Besuche Monate zuvor auch, daher 2 Sterne. Werde es irgendwann nochmal versuchen, aber derzeit bin ich maßlos enttäuscht.
