Absolutely exquisite spicy duck with coconut milk and bamboo. With a perfect Primitivo far exceeded my expecting.

I feel the good ratings are a bit misleading, and I’m honestly a bit sad that I spent my lunch there. The dish I wanted wasn’t available, so I was recommended to try the Pad Kra Pao instead. Unfortunately, what I got reminded me more of train station food than actual Thai cuisine. Someone in the kitchen clearly loves soy sauce. I won’t be coming back.

We discovered it by chance, and it was incredibly delicious, with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The food arrived reasonably quickly, and the price is great. I highly recommend it 😍

Not a restaurant that leaves a positive impression. Fast food (reflecting the modular system of a run-of-the-mill Asian restaurant), orders are placed at the counter. Prices are not necessarily low. Unfortunately, the flavour is not "authentic" but rather bland, and the preparation is generally rather crude. Sufficient to satisfy your hunger, but not really tasty or interesting.

I've been to Der Thai several times now and have been completely satisfied every time. The food always arrives very quickly and is of consistently high quality. I particularly like how incredibly friendly and accommodating the staff is every time. You feel truly welcome and well looked after here. A great restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic and, above all, affordable Thai food in a pleasant atmosphere. Der Thai has since become one of my regulars in Frankfurt!

I have a clear recommendation for Der Thai. I've been there several times now, and the food is delicious. I especially recommend the fried dishes. Furthermore, the service is very friendly and attentive. Specific requests are immediately accommodated. The location and ambiance are top-notch. There's plenty of room for larger groups, too. 5 stars from me.

Great and very tasty food. I highly recommend it and would gladly return. The staff is also very friendly. The only drawback is that, like in almost all restaurants in the Bahnhofsviertel district, dogs are only allowed outside, which makes them very difficult, especially in winter. We would definitely come back 🫶.

A pleasant surprise on Kaiserstrasse at around 1:00 p.m. There was no wait to place our order. We then sat down at a table outside, which was immediately thoroughly cleaned by the very attentive, motivated, and friendly staff. After a short wait, the food was served. The portions were very generous and the food was truly delicious. The Krapao Gai was as spicy as expected. If you want to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine, this restaurant is a good choice. Prices are slightly above average.

I had the fried duck with red thai curry, peas, peppers, exotic fruits and coconut milk (number 29), it was our (me and my family) first time having thai food and we all loved it, the rice in the coconut milk was soo good it didn't even felt like the usual white rice we're used to Btw, if the owner's reading this, I'd really love to know what the white round things were, it was delightful, we think it's litchis but we're not sure

Thank you for the delicious food! I usually have the red curry fried noodles. The only thing I don't like is that some of the good dishes contain pineapple. But you can leave it out, so no penalty!

I've avoided this restaurant on the main street, Kaiserstraße, until now. Unjustly so. It offers solid quality at reasonable prices. The chicken dishes start at €13.50. My Gai Phad Gra Prau special with minced chicken was tasty and a medium portion. It still had bamboo shoots and beans on it, but I couldn't find any Thai basil. My request for Thai spice was fulfilled. It was a medium portion. The price was €15.70. Friendly service. Card payments were easy.

If you’re Thai, you might want to eat elsewhere — the food is very “Germanized” and lacks authentic Thai flavor. I ordered the Duck Basil stir-fry and found only two basil leaves on the plate. It gets the job done.

A friend and I visited Der Thai at Kaiserstraße on 29th May for dinner. We both ordered Vegan rice dishes (#95 and #96 on their menu). Somehow the food quality was off, and we are both sick one day later. It has been an unpleasant experience.

Well, I have to say that staff is nice and fast and location is good. Food wise I say it's alright. Not bad but Just also Not great. Price is ok however, I don't think the che is Thai. The finesse and taste and mixture is not right enough. I had special phat Thai tom yang and this salad i love but here it was 😒 (papaya) I tried it only I won't return. Anyway thank you.

The restaurant is very good. The food is delicious. My boyfriend goes there often. Every time the service staff is very good. But last Tuesday, a beautiful female employee with long hair and eyelashes and dark makeup asked for my boyfriend's number and volunteered to give my boyfriend a massage. I think she must have come to work in the wrong place. It will ruin a good restaurant. Normally, employees should not behave like this. Please give me a warning.

I have been a customer from the very beginning and, with a few exceptions, have always been very satisfied. For me top 3 Tai Food in Ffm.

We came here with a friend after a concert around 21.00 to grab something warm to eat as it was cold and windy outside. The restaurant was quite empty, 2nd floor was closed. A waiter brought to us the menus and quickly took our order. We both had the coconut milk soup with vegetables and chicken, a plate of Wan Tan to share + piña colada. The food came fast, was served in beautiful bowls and the soup was extremely delicious! The waiters were friendly and polite. Would really like to come back and try their Pad Thai.

I had a red curry with duck meat and it was delicious!! Especially, the fried duck was really delicious. However, the amount of sauce was small, so by the time I was halfway through, there was almost no curry sauce left. Even though the portion of rice was small, the sauce felt small. I paid total 20.5€

We found this place by chance. Nothing bad to say lol, the food was great and the price was perfect. Thier was also english speaking staff which was a plus.

This is the worst Thai restaurant I have eaten in Europe, we ordered Tom Yum Goon, he gave me the chicken soup, both soups were very sour, no taste of lemongrass and chili, the pad Thai was served with sweet and sour sauce, not tamarind sauce, the beef salad looked like the beef was cooked in water, mixed then put on the salad with no taste, the chicken rice and dim sum plates ordered later were not worth mentioning. It is an insult to Thai culture indeed. The best part is the beer only.

Für die Zugfahrt habe ich mir 2 Belegte Brötchen geholt. 1 Berliner Schrippe mit Salami und eine mit Salami und Ei. Sehr gut Belegt, ein komplettes gekochtes Ei war auf der Salami Schrippe. Geschmack hervorragend sehr zu empfehlen.

We were there with a group (15 people) and had a minimum consumption!! From 25!!€ per person, as if you don't make more sales with 15 people per se. The food was okay, but not special, the background music got louder and louder, even though we had asked for it to be adjusted. We had another round of meetings, The used dishes stood there the whole time without being cleared away. Due to the minimum consumption, we also ordered a cappuccino, which came after about 15 minutes and was cold. In the meantime, people kept coming with bags to the office Admission demanded... very strange. We had chosen the restaurant because of its proximity to the Hbh and the good reviews, but the minimum consumption alone only justified one star. The service itself was nice, but had no room for maneuver

Compared to other Thai restaurants, the food seemed less authentic and tasted more average. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit pleasant. The atmosphere is somewhat affected by the location in the train station district, but this is beyond the restaurant's control. The restaurant is fine for a quick lunch break, but you shouldn't expect culinary highlights here.

It's quick and good, either earlier or later than lunchtime. Only the basic volume is extremely high, making it difficult to have a conversation. Acoustic panels would have to be attached to the ceiling

Very tasty authentic Thai. Locally spicy and additional chillies. Just awesome. I was there during my lunch break and just enjoyed it. The restaurant is recommended. You can sit very comfortably upstairs. Waitress was very friendly. You have to pay before eating. That's good because you don't have to wait for the bill afterwards. Reasonable prices and enough space. You don't have to wait long. Come again!

I always go to eat there and even convince my colleagues to have lunch in this Thai place, today had a very disappointing and rude situation where i asked the woman from the staff to sit on a table and she said it will be tight and offered a table at the very end of the restaurant which was very dull and chairs had no backs which was very uncomfortable so i said that we will be ok with a tight place and she agreed after putting our stuff on the table another woman from the staff came running saying in a rude attitude that we’re only allowed to sit on dark table . All my colleagues had already ordered so we had to sit in where they put us. I’m never going there or bringing any colleagues, will look for the next Thai place probably plenty of other good options with respectful staff and flexibility to sit if a table is free ,minus the attitude

This is a great place to spend the evening after work with tasty food. Also recommended for a snack after or before the opera/play performance as it is located around the corner. The prices are fair. The staff friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Food is super fast. We didn't think the quality of the meat was that good, it wasn't really hot and you could tell everything was prepared and it wasn't freshly cooked.

The steaks are just disgusting, three friends and no one liked it, as if they slipped us expired ones, I’m not picky, but this steak is terrible, and they brought the same pizza, I completely do not recommend this place

In summer it's also nice to sit outside on Kaiserstrasse, there's always something to see there.

Spacious restaurant with good food offerings. Nothing really outstanding, but quite solid and not too expensive. Recommended for the lunch break because it's quick. I wouldn't come here after work, it's a bit uncomfortable.
