Erawan Thai how can i ever thank you! My husband and I were looking for food as a late hour, we had just come from a work event that went long. We asked many restaurants if the kitchen was open and all said it was too late. Erawan the food smelled so good and we asked if kitchen was open- they were closing but they stayed open just for us! We ordered quickly and honestly we were blown away! So tasty! We had pad Thai and curry paneng- so delicious! Service was so nice! Seriously some of the best Thai food I ever had. My husband and I both thought it was one of the best meals we’ve had in Germany. Thank you so much!

Very sophisticated decor and delicious food! Quite clean and quiet, a typical German restaurant (the menu has eight pages of drinks and two pages of food). 😂👍🏻 All in all, it's worth the experience!

So far the best Thai that I have eaten in Wiesbaden. The lunch set is reasonable and do try the Khad Pao. It is very good.

I usually never give bad reviews, but I'm still annoyed to this day, even though it's been two or three weeks since my visit. After waiting 80 minutes for the main course and several times for drinks, our food finally arrived. The four of us had to share a small bowl of rice. When we asked if we wanted the rice for all of us, we were told they would bring us another bowl. It didn't arrive for another 15 minutes, however. But then the most unbelievable thing I've ever experienced in a restaurant happened. The waiter seriously asked us who was paying for the rice. After all, we had ordered additional rice. The cocktails were mostly made of ice and weren't worth the very high price. The two stars are for the food, which was good but unfortunately cold because we had to wait for the rice, which we were still supposed to pay for.

A very pleasant evening. We were there with 10 people. We all really enjoyed the food and you can even order Thai dishes (e.g. massaman curry) that are not on the menu. The wait staff was SO nice even though we were a large, confused group. Thank you for a great evening in your restaurant!

We were here a few times before Corona and always liked it, but now we were disappointed. The menu was pretty small. We didn't find any pork and only one dish with beef. Mostly chicken and goose. Our chicken dish was very tasty, the beef crumble was rather poor. The cocktails were overfilled with ice and quickly tasted watered down. There used to be a great Mai Tai here, lovingly mixed and decorated with a number of ingredients. Now you have the feeling that you are getting a ready-made broth with lots of ice lumps, no decoration whatsoever.

In 2025 and no dogs “allowed”. Well, then no.

Fantastic Thai dishes. I was thrilled when they allowed me to add the spices to my Pad Thai myself - as I find in Germany many restaurants lower the spice level too much.

Good food, and nice ambience. The service was great too. You can find Vegan options here. We ordered Papaya salad which was a little bitter because of the lemon rind in it. Also ordered the chilli beef which was quite nice & loved the mango sticky rice.

The Erawan was once a great restaurant but now every visit there has become half a nuisance. The quality of the food has deteriorated, things are forgotten (even to take away) and the service is not just such prices.

Schönes Restaurant. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir waren zu dritt. Alle waren begeistert. Ich hatte als Vorspeise Som Tam. Das war super lecker. So gut hatte ich es zuletzt in Thailand bekommen. Als Hauptspeise hatte ich Gai Pad Med Mamuang war ebenfalls sehr sehr gut. Kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

In my opinion, the restaurant is in a well-located location, but unfortunately the outdoor area is a bit too noisy as it is right on the main street. But it certainly has its vibe. But very comfortable inside. The service was also very friendly and the food was really very good! The minced chicken with rice and chili is my favorite dish! Will go there more often!

We were here for the first time today and were completely thrilled: the service was extremely friendly and attentive, the dishes were very tasty and plentiful. The price-performance ratio is also right. A highly recommended restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Had Tom Yum Kung and Pad Thai, with some Thai tea for the drink. Was a full house so I just sat at the bar. I had a perfect seat and view. The staff are very friendly and efficient and always attending the customers. Food is very good and spice level can be hotter if you want, just ask, which I did. Probably should make a reservation on the weekends. 👍👍

It was first class. The new generation comes with a new, reduced menu; many of the old dishes are no longer available. The portions are smaller... as a regular customer you unfortunately no longer feel like you're being picked up.

Had a papaya salad and spring rolls as a starter. The fish and vegetables with tofu were delicious. The nice service at the bar particularly rounded off the evening. Very good drinks! Gladly again. We are excited!

Es war mal wieder ein richtig toller Besuch! Auf der neue kleinere Karte sind super leckere klassische Thai Gerichte die mega lecker präsentiert werden! Die Cocktails sind 1A, freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch:)

We have reserved a table for our small Christmas party. We had a dog with us that was no bigger than 35cm long and 20cm tall. When we got there we were told that dogs were not allowed. We then asked if it would be okay if we left it in a corner under the table. We asked normally. This suggestion was then rejected in a very unfriendly manner by an older lady at the counter. We've never experienced anything like this before. We then left and were able to eat at another Thai restaurant. It is completely okay and understandable if animals are not allowed. But we found it surprising and sad to be rejected so rudely. Very unfortunate.

The service was friendly, but I've never had to wait so long for my food in an Asian restaurant (over 1 hour). I didn't like the chicken, the sauce was watery and unfortunately the taste was disappointing. I had a lot more expectations.

Bin leider sehr enttäuscht vom Lokal... Haben Vorspeise/Nachsspeise/Dessert Bestellt. Portionen sehr klein und sehr teuer geworden und die Qualität hat sehr nachgelassen. Für Geburtstagsgäste leider auch keine kleine Aufmerksamkeit... Leider schade. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

Sehr schöne Location, unterer Bereich erinnert an ein Weinkeller/Gewölbe. Grünes Curry war spitze, Service sehr freundlich und nimmt gerne Sonderwünsche entgegen.

War mal mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Essen ist toll, keine Frage. Preise sind erhöht worden, wofür ich noch Verständnis habe, aber die Portionen sind im Verhältnis deutlich kleiner geworden, zumindest wenn man zum Mitnehmen bestellt. War sehr enttäuscht und bin leider nicht satt geworden. Würde deshalb nicht mehr bestellen.

Sehr gutes Essen! Aber ziemlich teuer bzw. Portionen könnten größer sein

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen. Das Personal ist umfassend nett und zuvorkommend. Die Location an sich ist einfach schön und geschmackvoll. Der Lautstärkepegel geht, wenn man oben sitzt. Wir waren Anfang des Jahres schon mal hier und können deshalb folgendes feststellen: Das Angebot auf der Speisekarte ist etwa nur noch ein Viertel so groß wie vorher und enthält auch nicht mehr alle Basics, die man erwarten würde. Das Gericht, das ich hatte war gehackte Ente. Ein winziger Teller mit etwa 4 Löffeln trocken gebratener Ente mit dem Obligatorischen Topf Reis. Lauwarm. Keine Sauce oder dergleichen. Kein Vergleich zu dem, was ich hier früher mal hatte. In dem grünen Curry meiner Begleitung waren grade mal 4 Garnelen. Was bei einem der teuersten Gerichte auf der Karte schon etwas wenig ist. Außerdem kamen die Gerichte etwa 10 Minuten zeitversetzt. Unterm Strich war es im Vergleich zu früher eine Enttäuschung. Ich verstehe den Sparkurs in diesen Zeiten ja, aber hier kratzt er am Image des Restaurants.

Wir wollten samstags dort zu Mittag essen! Die Öffnungszeiten waren geändert, ohne dass die Änderungen im Internet vermerkt waren. Also waren wir 40KM umsonst gefahren, nur wegen der Nachlässigkeit der Restaurant-Besitzer! Das fanden wir dann weniger lustig!

Wir kamen früher regelmäßig über den Rhein um im Erawan bei sehr guten Speisen ein paar schöne Stunden zu verbringen. Leider wurde die Auswahl auf der Karte drastisch reduziert und bietet nur noch wenige Gerichte insofern kein Vergleich zu früher. Preise für Getränke waren auch relativ hoch z.B. Aperol 9€. Sogar auf die Warmhalteplatten auf dem Tisch wird jetzt verzichtet, was aber bei einem ohnehin nur lauwarmen Gericht schnell zur Abkühlung führt. Das Essen selbst war ok, aber auch kein Vergleich zu früher und realtiv teuer im Vergleich zu anderen Thailändischen Restaurants . Schade.

Das beste Thai-Restaurant in Wiesbaden

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir haben von der Mittags Karte bestellt. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß und preis Leistung passt auch. Man kann draußen sitzen und die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Kann es jedem nur empfehlen.

Eins meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Wiesbaden. Viel Auswahl für Vegetarier (und natürlich auch Fleisch- und Fischesser), immer lecker und Portionen zum satt werden. Meine Favoriten sind das Pad Thai und das gelbe Thai Curry. Angenehme Atmosphäre und sehr freundliches Personal.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung. Aussenbewirtschaftung möglich (Wetterabhängig, direkt an der Taunusstrasse), Tische und Stühle kann man für größere Gruppen zusammenschieben.

Besseres Thai Essen habe ich außerhalb von Thailand noch nie gegessen! Die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung und der Service ist super. Allein dafür lohnt sich eine Fahrt nach Wiesbaden :D

Das Essen war gut und die Preise okay. Beim Service ist aber deutlich Luft nach oben! Wir waren zu siebt dort und fünf wollten Getränke nachbestellen... War gar nicht so einfach! Und zum bezahlen dann einzeln nach unten an die Kasse...

Leckeres Essen, leider die Portion verglichen mit anderen Lokalen relativ klein. Ja, Inflation, ja Preise sind gestiegen aber es ist dennoch schade, wenn man nach dem Essen noch ein Grummeln im Bauch hat. Ambiente wirklich schön, Personal ebenfalls freundlich

Aktuell mein Lieblings-Thai in Wiesbaden. Sehr leckeres Essen mit hochwertigen Zutaten. Die Cocktails schmecken auch gut. Preise im höheren Bereich aber im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalitäten in Wiesbaden in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich habe schon mehrfach dort gegessen. Es ist sehr lecker

Der beste Thailänder den ich je kennengelernt habe. Schon vor über 20 Jahren hatte er die besten Cocktails. LEIDER MUSS ICH MINUSPUNKTE VERGEBEN. Ich habe bei meinem letzten Besuch mit Frau und Mutter wieder mal dort gegessen, und danach gesagt dass ich gerne ein Familienessen planen würde, und das es wohl mindestens 10 Personen werden. Die Chefin sagte das es kein Problem sei wenn ich mindestens 4 Wochen vorher reserviere. Gesagt, getan. Ich habe für 20 Personen +, und 8 Wochen im voraus reserviert. Jetzt bekomme ich eine Absage weil nicht genug Personal da ist, und weil man außerdem sowieso wahrscheinlich zu hat an dem Tag. Das stimmt mich echt traurig, komme ich doch nur zum Essen ins Erawan, wenn ich mal in Deutschland bin. Wirklich schade, aber ein anderer Wirt wird sich über die Gäste und das Geld freuen.

Waren zu fünft im Erawan und sind rundum zufrieden.Beim Mittagstisch ist das Preisleistungs Verhältnis unschlagbar.Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hat uns gut beraten.Wir kommen wieder.

Schade. Am Samstag um 13:00 standen wir vor verschlossener Türe. Keine Info auf der Homepage oder direkt an der Tür.

Das Essen war richtig gut, falls wir mal wieder in Wiesbaden sind, kommen wir definitiv nochmal. Preis und Qualität stehen in einem sehr guten Verhältnis.

Wir haben es wieder mal hier versucht, aber es hat sich nach unseren letzten Besuchen (da hatte ich nichts geschrieben) leider nicht zum Positiven geändert. Für den doch sehr starken Lärmpegel können die Gastonomen nichts tun, aber wir konnten uns quasi nicht unterhalten. Unsere Vorspeisen kamen sehr Zeit verzögert und waren zum Teil nur lauwarm. Die Hauptspeisen waren auch nur lauwarm und man hat auch leider die Warmhalteplatten nicht mehr im Gebrauch. Nach 1 Stunden fühlten wir uns "abgefüttert" und werden das Restaurant in Zukunft meiden....eigentlich sehr Schade

Leider sehr enttäuscht wir haben 4 Gerichte bestellt und alle 4 Gerichte waren ungenießbar passt auch leider preislich nicht.

Ich mag das Thai Essen hier. Es ist sehr lecker. Ich hatte die letzten 4 Wochen 4x entweder etwas geholt oder dort gegessen und wurde nie enttäuscht.

Great Thai food. Service was excellent. English menu- extensive wine list and many many choices on the food menu. Prices in the €12-22 range with duck and seafood the highest.

Thai-Essen war lecker, Service war freundlich allerdings nur zu Beginn gut erreichbar. Leider wurden auch die bestellten Gerichte verwechselt und teilweise vergessen.

Wir waren gestern mal wieder bei Erawan, einem unserer Lieblings-Thai-Restaurants (und wir kennen wirklich einige im ganzen Rhein-Main-Gebiet). Die vorstehende Kritik können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Wir wurden bisher immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient und das Essen war immer ausgezeichnet. Wie gesagt, für uns ist dieses Restaurant eines der besten Thai in der Umgebung. Natürlich kommt es vor, dass dort sehr viel los ist. Aber dann ist es doch verständlich, dass man auch mal auf einen Platz warten muss (Reservierung sehr empfehlenswert) oder dass das Essen nicht gleich serviert wird. Die hervorragende Qualität der Speisen hat uns immer wieder für alles entschädigt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder zu Erawan gehen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Wir waren seit längerer Zeit mal wieder bei unserem nun Ex-Lieblingsthai:sehr enttäuschend, da Hauptgericht sehr salzig, zudem fettiger und nicht mehr so raffiniert abgestimmt, wie wir es gewohnt waren. Cocktail total überzuckert. Leider müssen wir uns nun einen anderen Thai suchen. Adios!
