I go here every now and again for lunch and have never been disappointed. It's particularly cool how quickly the dishes are served considering the lunch break!

Food completely expired ordered via Wolt. The bag was completely soaked and I had to clean the apartment after I received the food. For the other dishes the sauces were tasteless and full of oil. Hardly any meat even though we only ordered chicken and beef. I don't want to know how hearty they would have been with shrimp. No recommendation, the food didn't taste authentic or anything else that I could have made better at home, the ingredients that were promised weren't even available and the Masaman curry was the worst I've ever had in mine have eaten life. 0/5 stars

Like in Thailand! I don't need to say anything more about it :-) a pleasure! A little more expensive, but the quality is really very good.

The food was OK, but about 10 euros more expensive than you'd usually pay for for the same in Germany (I've eaten at a lot of Thai and Vietnamese restaurants throughout the country). The coconut soup was watery and some of the ingredients were on the raw side, but the curry was nice. The service seemed quite impersonal.

Met there for lunch. The lunch menu is gigantic, the prices are more than pleasing at €10-12. The quality of the food and the service are excellent. The restaurant is centrally located in Wiesbaden and can also be easily reached by public transport. Unfortunately there is no outdoor area, but the furnishings are very harmonious. Thumbs up!

The atmosphere is nice and the service is top. Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. The beef salad was swimming in sauce and had nothing to do with authentic Thai cuisine. The beef also had a strange color and texture. I also had Tom Yam soup, which was unfortunately a bit watery, but the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. My friend chose the duck in tamarind sauce, which tasted rather artificial and anything but authentic. We have already been to Thailand a few times and eaten in various Thai restaurants in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden and unfortunately we have to say that improvements need to be made here.

Thai Banyan is the perfect place to eat outside during your lunch break. You can always get a seat here at lunchtime. The lunch menu offers a wide selection of vegetarian and omnivorous dishes at reasonable prices. The dishes are prepared quickly and have a good portion. The service is always a bit slow here. Especially when a lot of things are ordered for pickup. However, all employees are very friendly.

I really love the restaurant. When I miss thailand, i go there. The colors, aromas, flavors, ambiance, and music, just gives me a good break from the hustle of the day. Ofcourse at times when it’s crowded, the service might be a bit slow, but otherwise they are attentive and nice. The food is amazing… specially the curries and stir fries. The portions are satisfying. Definitely i recommend it.

We spontaneously drove to Wiesbaden and then thought about testing this Thai. From the outside the restaurant looks very small, but it is deceptive because it goes way back and is quite large. The menu overwhelmed us both - too many dishes and quite confusing. We ordered the following as starters: 1x No. 5 - Sa Teh Gai (EUR 7.20) 1x No. 11 - Kraduk Muu Thord (EUR 6.90) The starters were both very tasty. The peanut sauce on the satay skewers was particularly great. The ribs also tasted excellent, the sauce was more of a BBQ sauce that was served with it. For the main course we had: 1x No. V42 - Wunsen Tofu Soup, small (EUR 6.90) 1x No. 35 - Laab Gai (EUR 13.90) The main courses were also really good quality. I ordered the Laab “pet” and it was really spicy. I missed the greens in the Laab (cucumber, beans, cabbage) to tone down the spiciness a bit. What bothered us a bit was the "old-fashioned" decoration on the plate, which no one really needs. Otherwise a good Thai restaurant that can definitely be recommended.

One should never draw conclusions about the inside from the outside. From the outside you expect at most a snack bar, but once you're inside you see a very nice restaurant. The dishes are authentic and really delicious. The service is very friendly and attentive. The menu is huge and even allergens are listed

Das Essen war aufgewärmt. Habe noch nie ! so schlecht asiatisch gegessen. Außerdem viel zu teuer. Atmosphäre und Lage sehr billig.

Keine Ahnung wie es zu „170 x ausgezeichnet“in den Bewertungen kam. Viele angedickte Saucen, eine Karte wie beim Chinesen - Thaiküche habe ich so noch nicht erlebt. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Servicepersonal. Kurz und direkt: Ich war sehr enttäuscht, für mich war das nichts.

Yesterday we were on a business trip for training in Wiesbaden and spontaneously wanted to go to the Thai restaurant, everything was great and we were served friendly and immediately. The food was also very tasty and very nicely prepared. Can only be recommended.

This afternoon we were totally impressed by the beautiful Thai restaurant in downtown Wiesbaden, which really serves up authentic dishes and can delight its guests. The food was hot and of the best quality. We are already looking forward to other dishes next time. The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. We clearly recommend 5☆

Good place, if not fantastic. Crispy chicken salad was really really good, can recommend. Nice interior, too. The soup was nearly awful, however - just thin and soapy. Do not recommend.

Business in Wiesbaden. Rarely eaten so tasty and spicy. 3🌶️🌶️🌶️ on the map were accurate. To go portion unfortunately a bit too small 😜 but completely ok for 11€. Nice ambience. Recommendation 100% ....So far nothing comparable has been found in Hamburg.

The Thai Banyan has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. The restaurant is always busy and it is strongly advisable to reserve a table. The structure of the restaurant is rather narrow and long and the seating is a little more cramped, and the noise is a little louder, as a result. The service is fast in a positive sense, almost too quick at times, as you first have to get through the very extensive menu. In many restaurants, especially when it comes to the menu and the extent of the menu selection, the rule is that less is more, and you can't leave that alone here. The menu is really extensive and will certainly be found in one way or another among many Thais. Everything is standard – no, far from it. The taste of the food is of course a little adapted to European standards, but everything tastes very fresh and very good given the extensive range of dishes on offer - a real masterpiece. A place where you can eat good Thai food - just like that. No star cuisine or anything like that, but you can't put up with that every day. For me personally one of the top three Thais in Wiesbaden.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet.

Eltern mit kleinen Kindern scheinen hier nicht erwünscht zu sein. Kinderwagen sollte draußen stehen bleiben. Hochstühle gibt es keine. Und Essen würde mind. 45 Minuten dauern. Wir haben das Restaurant wieder verlassen. Dieses Lokal hat in den letzten Jahren extrem nachgelassen und Mitarbeiter unfreundlich geworden.

Sehr leckeres und bezahlbares Essen. Ich reserviere immer sicherheitshalber einen Platz, da das Restaurant immer gut besucht ist.

Ambiente, Service und die Speisen waren top. Alles frisch und lecker zubereitet. Sehr gerne wieder.

Von aussen wirkt es unscheinbar. Aber innen ist es wunderbar! Mein liebstes Pad Thai Tofu der gesamten Region!

Sehr guter Thai. Gerichte vielfältig und immer wirklich gut. Ambiente ist jetzt nicht prall aber auch nicht furchtbar. Für den Mittagstisch ok, fürs gepflegte Essengehen eher nicht. Ich hole zu 99% ab. Personal sehr freundlich.

Wir waren während eines Wiesbaden-Aufenthalts gleich 2x da, weil es uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Frische Zutaten, gute Zubereitung, freundliches Personal. Gerne wieder. Gute Portionsgrößen. Am Wochenende lohnt es zu reservieren. Es war an beiden Abenden sehr gut besucht.

War und ist auch noch mein Lieblingsthailänder in Wiesbaden. Leider wurden die Preise "KRÄFTIG" erhöht und beim letzten Besuch war ich nicht 100%tig zufrieden mit dem Essen. Kann ja mal vorkommen. Was mich erstaunt hat, war das die Chefin (glaube ich) während meine Essenspartnerin noch am speisen war, die halbvolle Reisschüssel und den Rest meines Geschirrs abgeräumt hat. Nun - haken wir es als schlechten Tag ab, den jeder mal haben kann.

Besser nicht mit Lieferservice bestellen. Verpackung und Essen waren enttäuschend.

Was für eine Auswahl! Und tatsächlich sehr lecker. Also bisher noch keinen besseren Thailänder in Wiesbaden gefunden :) alles natürlich relativ zu Thailand selbst .

Heel mooi Thais restaurant in het centrum met goed authentiek eten en lekkere cocktails!

Von dem unscheinbaren Äußeren sollte man sich hier nicht irritieren lassen. Sehr freundliches Personal, ein schönes Ambiente, saubere Sanitäranlagen und vor allem ein extrem leckeres Essen haben eine kleine Familie heute sehr glücklich gemacht. Definitiv eine, vielleicht sogar die bisherige Empfehlung unter den Wiesbadener Thai Restaurants.

Absolutely delicious food, best Thai I’ve had in Europe. The first bite of the Tom Yum and I knew this was going to be a great place. Then the main course of a shrimp stir fry was incredible!!

Sehr schönes, authentisches, Thai Restaurant mit einer ausgezeichneten Küche, nicht der günstigste, aber Preisleistung stimmt.

Wir waren zu dritt um 18:30 Uhr an einem Donnerstag hier. Ich habe nie darauf geachtet, dass hier ein Thai ist und war sehr gespannt, was meine Liebste hier rausgesucht hat. Die Karte ist für meinen Geschmack etwas unübersichtlich, aber das ist ein subjektiver Eindruck. Es gibt halt sehr viele unterschiedliche Gerichte, wenn ihr es eilig habt, dann guckt vorher online in die Karte und sucht Euch was raus! :-) Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war gar nicht lang und das Essen sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind reichlich bemessen, der Preis in Ordnung. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es im Ambiente für die Musik, die für meinen Geschmack etwas zu laut war, aber ich hätte ja auch was sagen können! Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Preis angemessen. Wir hatten den Vorspeisenteller , ich die 217 und mein Mann gebackene Ente mit Pfefferkörner .Ein Traum. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und macht auch Mal einen Scherz. Wenn wir wieder einmal in Wiesbaden sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Waren durch Zufall hier, nach einem Besuch des Weihnachtsmarktes, vorbeigekommen. Durch das tolle & interessante Design wurden wir neugierig und haben sogar einen Platz bekommen. ( Nachfolgende Paare, Gruppen hatten nicht das Glück. Reservierung sicher sinnvoll ) Nach Aufgabe der Bestellung kam zeitnah unser Essen. Sehr lecker und für uns geschmacklich mal komplett was Neues, im Gegensatz zum "Standard-Asia-Restaurant*. Gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch von Wiesbaden

Die Begrüßung war kühl und wirkte gezwungen und lieblos. Ich hatte nur 2 Vorspeisen (zum Glück), eine war eine vegetarische Gemüsesuppe, die nach Tütensuppe schmeckte. Der danach bestellte Glasnudelsalat war langweilig gewürzt. Beides wirklich das belangloseste Thaifood, was ich jemals gegessen habe. Der Service war schnell, aber nicht empathisch, fast unfreundlich. Die nachbestellten Gewürzsoßen wurden nach wenigen Minuten wieder weggenommen, da der Nachbartisch auch nachwürzen wollte. Preise finde ich für die Qualität völlig überzogen. Es gibt wirklich deutlich bessere thailändische Küche in Wiesbaden.

Server corrected order before we even realized it was in correct! Duck was excellent! The ambiance was wonderful as well! Beautiful ascetics! A must stop for food and drinks!

Die Auswahl der Speisen ist nicht einfach, da die Karte schon sehr vielseitig ist. Empfehlenswert ist den Empfehlungen der Karte zu folgen. Das Gemüse hätte vielleicht etwas knackiger sein könnnen, die Gewürz und Geschmackskomposition war aber sehr gut abgestimmt. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn viel los ist kann der Service allerdings schon als hektisch empfunden werden. Positiv ist die Akkustik, da man sich gut unterhalten kann. Alles in einem trotzdem ein sehr empfehlenswerter Thai.

Da hat alles gepasst. Freundlicher Service, ein schönes Ambiente, das Essen war wirklich gut und reichhaltig. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, Preis Leistung past.

Ich gebe gerne 4/5, weil es mir durchgehend gut gefallen hat bei Thai Banyan. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, auch wenn es sicherlich deutlich an das europäische Publikum angenähert wurde. Trotzdem ist die Auswahl größer als bei vergleichbaren Lokalen und das möchte ich hier prämieren. Der Service ist super freundlich und lustig, aber stellenweise war die Abstimmung zwischen den Bediensteten unklar und der Service damit durcheinander (Getränke doppelt gebracht, später dann vergessen). Das tut dem positiven Erlebnis aber kein Abbruch! Verhältnis Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung.

Beim ersten Mal haben wir Corona bedingt Gerichte zum Abholen geordert, Qualität und Geschmack waren mittelmäßig. Thai Curry eher lieblos, Gemüseauswahl überschaubar. Die Ente war ok, aber nichts besonderes. Der zweite Anlauf war ein Essen mit Freuden im Restaurant vor Ort. Service mittelmäßig und nicht aufmerksam. Das Essen war wieder mittelmäßig. Erneut Thai Curry (ich dachte, vielleicht war’s beim letzten Mal einfach ein schlechter Tag). Aber ich wurde auch dieses Mal enttäuscht. Im Vegetarischen Curry erneut überschaubare, langweilige Gemüseauswahl. Keine Kräuter, insgesamt sehr wässrig. Ein Glas Rheingauer Riesling schlug mit 9,60 Euro zu Buche! Bei dem Preis würde ich zumindest erwarten, dass der Wein im richtigen Weißwein Glas serviert wird und nicht in einem winzigen Ikea Glas…. Fazit: insgesamt zu teurer für die Leistung, die man bekommt. Thailändisch kann man in Wiesbaden besser essen….eine dritte Chance wird es nicht geben.

Teuer aber es schmeckt echt gut - was man empfehlen kann ist die Mitnehm-Karte - ist günstiger aber kleinere Portionen...
