Very Authentic. Quality you know from Asia is delivered here. I personally love soups, served in big bowls. Bigger is better 😁 And this is what you get here. "Khop kun khrap"

We had just arrived in Wiesbaden after a day of travel, and this delightful restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel. They had Singha beer, which we always enjoy, and dinner was delicious. Portions were generous and we left rejuvenated.

Authentic Thai food. Very good food, a wide selection, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Wiesbaden!

This place has some of the best authentic Thai food in Wiesbaden and probably Hessen. I highly recommend eating here.

The restaurant is very centrally located near hotels and has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious. Even drop-ins are warmly welcomed. Definitely worth a visit. I can recommend the fried noodles.

Food was delicious and freshly prepared server spoke English place was clean and decorated beautifully I totally enjoyed my appetizer and my main course will certainly be back next time we visit Germany

We have been happy with every dish so far. Things are right every time, and everything is delicious. Added bonus - They speak English. They have takeout. They take cards. As an American new to the area, this was perfect.

We were there on a Friday evening. Unfortunately it took quite a long time until our food was ready. Guests who arrived after us received their orders long before us. But the food was SO delicious that it was worth the wait. We'll definitely be back :)

Only had lunch special but well worth the visit.

This restaurant used to be our favorite to go to years ago. We went there last week, some menus were gone. I ordered fried fish topped with chilies sauce ended up getting fried fish with sweet garlic sauce. Thai tea is also not good, Kaeng Pa soup also not good. I asked the waitress where is the chilies and she said that how we made the sauce (only sweet and no spicy)😆why you bother to put spicy sauce on the menu then very disappointed with everything. It’s our last time here for sure. I wonder if the owner changed since Covid 🤔

Very tasty food. I can't say whether it's authentic. Unfortunately, I have never been to Thailand. However, I imagine the food to be the same way. The papaya salad was just great. For the main course I had Pad Thai. Also just delicious. At first glance, the prices are not cheap. But the quality and service are good. It is advisable to reserve. The tables filled up very quickly. We'll definitely be back!!!

Huge (too big) menu. Food came quickly and was okay, could have been a little spicier. But even good eaters were satisfied with the portion :-)

I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We wanted to try a new place and Thai Banyan it was. They have a warm friendly atmosphere, the French cafe music was relaxing, and the food was delicious. I started with the 3 shrimp appetizer and had Pad Thai for my main dish. I was very happy with both.

The food wasn't bad, but I've had much better Thai food. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. The wonton soup was very weak in terms of broth and the rice and vegetables in the main course were overcooked. Otherwise the taste was ok.

This place is really good. The Thai food is always fresh and delicious. One of two favorite Thai spots in the area. Their take out is just as good as dining in.

Something must have gone fundamentally wrong in the kitchen today. Not only us, but all the tables around us complained about the waiting time. It took us more than an hour from ordering to the main course. Others arrived before us and received their food even later. Everything wasn't even as full as usual. We've been here several times in the past and it was always good all around. I hope this was an exceptional case.

Since I'm evaluating the price-performance ratio, I can unfortunately only give it 3 stars. Simply too expensive for the food

Nice, cozy Thai restaurant with a very large menu. There is something for every taste here. Plus a large selection of cocktails and wines. The food tastes good, the portions are decent. The price-performance ratio is good. The service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is worth a visit.

The Thai Banyan is recommended. Reservation is required, the ambience is very nice. The meals are good.

We ordered food and after ordering I was called straight away and kindly informed about the waiting time, which I found really very accommodating. The food was very tasty and fresh. There is nothing to complain about.

I can really recommend this hostel and the Cuc Phuong National park tour. I met here many kind people and the tour was a really nice adventure.

I go here every now and again for lunch and have never been disappointed. It's particularly cool how quickly the dishes are served considering the lunch break!

Food completely expired ordered via Wolt. The bag was completely soaked and I had to clean the apartment after I received the food. For the other dishes the sauces were tasteless and full of oil. Hardly any meat even though we only ordered chicken and beef. I don't want to know how hearty they would have been with shrimp. No recommendation, the food didn't taste authentic or anything else that I could have made better at home, the ingredients that were promised weren't even available and the Masaman curry was the worst I've ever had in mine have eaten life. 0/5 stars

The food was OK, but about 10 euros more expensive than you'd usually pay for for the same in Germany (I've eaten at a lot of Thai and Vietnamese restaurants throughout the country). The coconut soup was watery and some of the ingredients were on the raw side, but the curry was nice. The service seemed quite impersonal.

Met there for lunch. The lunch menu is gigantic, the prices are more than pleasing at €10-12. The quality of the food and the service are excellent. The restaurant is centrally located in Wiesbaden and can also be easily reached by public transport. Unfortunately there is no outdoor area, but the furnishings are very harmonious. Thumbs up!

The atmosphere is nice and the service is top. Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. The beef salad was swimming in sauce and had nothing to do with authentic Thai cuisine. The beef also had a strange color and texture. I also had Tom Yam soup, which was unfortunately a bit watery, but the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. My friend chose the duck in tamarind sauce, which tasted rather artificial and anything but authentic. We have already been to Thailand a few times and eaten in various Thai restaurants in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden and unfortunately we have to say that improvements need to be made here.

Thai Banyan is the perfect place to eat outside during your lunch break. You can always get a seat here at lunchtime. The lunch menu offers a wide selection of vegetarian and omnivorous dishes at reasonable prices. The dishes are prepared quickly and have a good portion. The service is always a bit slow here. Especially when a lot of things are ordered for pickup. However, all employees are very friendly.

I really love the restaurant. When I miss thailand, i go there. The colors, aromas, flavors, ambiance, and music, just gives me a good break from the hustle of the day. Ofcourse at times when it’s crowded, the service might be a bit slow, but otherwise they are attentive and nice. The food is amazing… specially the curries and stir fries. The portions are satisfying. Definitely i recommend it.

We spontaneously drove to Wiesbaden and then thought about testing this Thai. From the outside the restaurant looks very small, but it is deceptive because it goes way back and is quite large. The menu overwhelmed us both - too many dishes and quite confusing. We ordered the following as starters: 1x No. 5 - Sa Teh Gai (EUR 7.20) 1x No. 11 - Kraduk Muu Thord (EUR 6.90) The starters were both very tasty. The peanut sauce on the satay skewers was particularly great. The ribs also tasted excellent, the sauce was more of a BBQ sauce that was served with it. For the main course we had: 1x No. V42 - Wunsen Tofu Soup, small (EUR 6.90) 1x No. 35 - Laab Gai (EUR 13.90) The main courses were also really good quality. I ordered the Laab “pet” and it was really spicy. I missed the greens in the Laab (cucumber, beans, cabbage) to tone down the spiciness a bit. What bothered us a bit was the "old-fashioned" decoration on the plate, which no one really needs. Otherwise a good Thai restaurant that can definitely be recommended.

One should never draw conclusions about the inside from the outside. From the outside you expect at most a snack bar, but once you're inside you see a very nice restaurant. Das Essen war aufgewärmt. Habe noch nie ! so schlecht asiatisch gegessen. Außerdem viel zu teuer. Atmosphäre und Lage sehr billig.

Keine Ahnung wie es zu „170 x ausgezeichnet“in den Bewertungen kam. Viele angedickte Saucen, eine Karte wie beim Chinesen - Thaiküche habe ich so noch nicht erlebt. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Servicepersonal. Kurz und direkt: Ich war sehr enttäuscht, für mich war das nichts.

Yesterday we were on a business trip for training in Wiesbaden and spontaneously wanted to go to the Thai restaurant, everything was great and we were served friendly and immediately. The food was also very tasty and very nicely prepared. Can only be recommended.

This afternoon we were totally impressed by the beautiful Thai restaurant in downtown Wiesbaden, which really serves up authentic dishes and can delight its guests. The food was hot and of the best quality. We are already looking forward to other dishes next time. The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. We clearly recommend 5☆

Business in Wiesbaden. Rarely eaten so tasty and spicy. 3🌶️🌶️🌶️ on the map were accurate. To go portion unfortunately a bit too small 😜 but completely ok for 11€. Nice ambience. Recommendation 100% ....So far nothing comparable has been found in Hamburg.

The Thai Banyan has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. The restaurant is always busy and it is strongly advisable to reserve a table. The structure of the restaurant is rather narrow and long and the seating is a little more cramped, and the noise is a little louder, as a result. The service is fast in a positive sense, almost too quick at times, as you first have to get through the very extensive menu. In many restaurants, especially when it comes to the menu and the extent of the menu selection, the rule is that less is more, and you can't leave that alone here. The menu is really extensive and will certainly be found in one way or another among many Thais. Everything is standard – no, far from it. The taste of the food is of course a little adapted to European standards, but everything tastes very fresh and very good given the extensive range of dishes on offer - a real masterpiece. A place where you can eat good Thai food - just like that. No star cuisine or anything like that, but you can't put up with that every day. For me personally one of the top three Thais in Wiesbaden.

Eltern mit kleinen Kindern scheinen hier nicht erwünscht zu sein. Kinderwagen sollte draußen stehen bleiben. Hochstühle gibt es keine. Und Essen würde mind. 45 Minuten dauern. Wir haben das Restaurant wieder verlassen. Dieses Lokal hat in den letzten Jahren extrem nachgelassen und Mitarbeiter unfreundlich geworden.

Sehr leckeres und bezahlbares Essen. Ich reserviere immer sicherheitshalber einen Platz, da das Restaurant immer gut besucht ist.

Wir waren während eines Wiesbaden-Aufenthalts gleich 2x da, weil es uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Frische Zutaten, gute Zubereitung, freundliches Personal. Gerne wieder. Gute Portionsgrößen. Am Wochenende lohnt es zu reservieren. Es war an beiden Abenden sehr gut besucht.

War und ist auch noch mein Lieblingsthailänder in Wiesbaden. Leider wurden die Preise "KRÄFTIG" erhöht und beim letzten Besuch war ich nicht 100%tig zufrieden mit dem Essen. Kann ja mal vorkommen. Was mich erstaunt hat, war das die Chefin (glaube ich) während meine Essenspartnerin noch am speisen war, die halbvolle Reisschüssel und den Rest meines Geschirrs abgeräumt hat. Nun - haken wir es als schlechten Tag ab, den jeder mal haben kann.

Was für eine Auswahl! Und tatsächlich sehr lecker. Also bisher noch keinen besseren Thailänder in Wiesbaden gefunden :) alles natürlich relativ zu Thailand selbst .

Heel mooi Thais restaurant in het centrum met goed authentiek eten en lekkere cocktails!

Von dem unscheinbaren Äußeren sollte man sich hier nicht irritieren lassen. Sehr freundliches Personal, ein schönes Ambiente, saubere Sanitäranlagen und vor allem ein extrem leckeres Essen haben eine kleine Familie heute sehr glücklich gemacht. Definitiv eine, vielleicht sogar die bisherige Empfehlung unter den Wiesbadener Thai Restaurants.
