Thai Grill in Koblenz

This is not at all authentic food, it is the Chinese version of Thai food, emphasis on Chinese style food. It was atrocious, the sauce tasted like nail polish remover. I am from San Francisco, CA, USA and I know cheap crappy Chinese food l when I see it, a combination of broccoli and other cheap veggies stir fried with an artificial sauce. The only thing that was edible was the rice. I also noticed the other Asian restaurants selling other Asian cuisines, Vietnamese and Japanese and I assume it is all owned by the same company. Beware, I guess my advice is don't eat at malls.

Had two different dishes for lunch there. The food was very tasty, the portions were large, we were quite full and for a really good price these days (€7.90 and €8.50). Recommended!

So RUDE! Would never in my life recommend such a place! The unfriendliness of the staff is just too much. The lady at the register was literally shouting at us for not having cash. I believe we pay not only for the food but also for the service, so don’t spend your money there. It is not worth it, trust me!

We ordered food and were not allowed to sit down. We were shouted at that we should move on and not stay in the fast food area. Food was so well. No recommendation super unfriendly. Staff super unfriendly! Better to eat opposite.

0 stars I have forwarded this disrespect that I and my family experienced there on April 5, 2023 to the upper floor. A shop like this should be closed immediately.

Unfriendly staff in all of Koblenz! My wife and I always get something from the Asian restaurant across the street and this time we wanted to give the Thai Grill a chance. Biggest mistake. We each ordered a portion of fried noodles. We also wanted to eat these on site and communicated this. Something was then said that we hadn't heard audibly, so we repeated again that we would like to eat the noodles on site, but there was no answer. Our pasta was then packed in take-away packs, which of course surprised us because we wanted to eat there. Well, we then paid and wanted to sit at the table there with the noodles. Just as we were putting the pasta on the table, the lady there aggressively almost shouted at us from the side: "Get out!" Don't sit! Get out, don't eat here!,, So we weren't allowed to eat the pasta we paid for on site. The “shop” has almost 20 seats, one of which was occupied, the rest was completely free. So we were thrown out with the baby in the stroller because our dish was apparently only for take-away. So we had to stand next to the shop, eating our pasta between all the people passing by and our baby in the stroller in the middle of it all. There were no other seats nearby. Customer focused? Absolutely non-existent Afterwards I read a few reviews here, the lady is probably always so into it when it comes to the sound etc. I/we really don't understand how someone can be like that. Then also to the paying customers. Who just wanted to eat their pasta in peace and quiet. Hygiene is also a thing there: The forks were placed directly on the counter instead of on our pasta packages. The pasta didn't taste good and was basically drowned in sauce. Both my wife and I were hanging over/on the toilet at home afterwards. I have never experienced anything like this, not in Koblenz, not in Germany and not in other countries either. So in the future we will get our food from the neighboring Asian restaurant again. At least there is an absolutely nice and friendly tone and service there. So if you want better quality, service, friendly staff and would also like to eat something on site, it's best to go to the Asian restaurant directly opposite. P.s. for all card payers: At the Thai Grill you can only pay in cash.

Big catastrophe. Unfriendly is very important here. There was no one there and it was all too much for the lady and when I asked for the receipt it was all over. I wasn't even allowed to sit down. Not recommendable.

Food cannot be beaten in terms of bottomlessness, price is ok.

Ordered something to take away. The vegetables were moldy and had insects in them. Luckily I saw it before I ate it. This shop should be closed, it really is a danger for everyone.

Unfriendly service, actually it's a shame there's no reason for the unfriendliness. You just want to order and are shouted at. The food doesn't taste good either. EC card doesn't work either, only cash payment 🤨

Beim einkaufen etwas schnell essen dürfte das Prinzip dieses Thai Imbiss sein. Nicht besonders gut , nicht besonders günstig, nichts besonderes beim Geschmack . Aber es geht schnell und die Mitarbeiterinnen sind auch ein bisschen freundlich.

Essen ist gut. Preis Menue A3 8,50 € ist ok. Leider sehr wenig Platz zum sitzen, nur Barzahlung und unfreundlich. Dann doch eher gegenüber..

Mein erster Besuch im Imbiss Thai Grill. Preise waren ansprechend aber auch eher günstig angesiedelt. Ähnlich wie beim Asiaimbiss TT aus der Löhrstraße. Einen Gaumenschmaus habe ich dadurch schon mal nicht erwartet. Zuerst keine Begrüßung durch die nicht gut deutsch und zusätzlich noch verständlich sprechende Bedienung. Essen war in Ordnung dafür das es ein Imbiss ist, aber auch absoluter Durchschnitt für asiatische Küche. Das rote Thai Curry sah auf dem Foto deutlich roter in der Farbe aus als auf dem Teller. Denke da wird auch eher an der Paste gespart. Zudem habe ich nicht das Gefühl das hier Kokosnussmilch genommen wird. Schmeckt eher nach Sahne. Wie gesagt 5 Euro für ein rotes Thai Curry Gericht mit Huhn, da darf man die Erwartungen nicht zu hoch ansetzen. Achtung keine Kartenzahlung nur Bar, dafür allein gehe ich zukünftig nicht mehr hin. Habe gesehen gegenüber beim anderen Asiaten gibt es die Möglichkeit mit Karte zu bezahlen.

War jetzt schon des öfteren dort. Nettes Personal, sehr saubere Küche und das Essen war auch immer gut. Habe dementsprechend nichts auszusetzen. Immer wieder gerne.

Leckeres Madras Hühnchen, schön scharf mit herrlich knackigem Gemüse und einer leckeren Soße mit Kokosmilch. Ich war hier zum ersten Mal und positiv überrascht. Ich komme gerne wieder. Nettes Personal und saubere Küche. Zu empfehlen

Freundliches Personal. Restaurant ist sauber und originell eingerichtet. Speisen waren alle frisch. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Werden bestimmt noch mal wieder kommen.

Kann nicht ganz mit der Konkurrenz gegenüber mithalten, ist aber ok
