This is the OG kebab since 1979, from which Imren emerged. This is where they learned their craft back then. Perfect kebab. 100% Yaprak with a layer of lamb fat on the skewer. Friendly service❤️

Unfortunately there was nothing wrong with the kebab, it had a neutral taste and a rather unpleasant smell. Price-performance ratio doesn't fit here at all. The only good thing was the bread. The choice of salad to top the kebab was also very poor. Don't come back again.

I've been a Tekbir customer for 22 years and the taste hasn't changed and the quality is as good as it was the first day. It's very rare for this kebab shop to put its skewers fresh in the morning and get his meat from the butcher around the corner who offer top quality and organic meat. Everyone is very nice to work with and it's very familiar. The tea is free and everything here tastes incredible. The rice pudding is highly recommended as a dessert and is made fresh every day. €7 for a steak kebab that tastes so good is extremely fair and citizen-friendly. I would give 10 stars if it were possible 😍

The japrak skewer was an absolute highlight: layered meat with lamb fat on top, incredibly juicy and a smooth 10/10 in terms of taste. The store was super clean, including the toilet (which you don't find often). In addition, the employee/boss was extremely friendly and accommodating. The overall package of quality, cleanliness and service is simply unbeatable. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for the tea on the house!

The meat used to be different, today it hardly contains any spices, the meat no longer has any bite and doesn't taste like anything. I've given the store a few chances and now I won't be going there again. Some employees are so stingy with meat (man with short gray hair for example) that you don't get enough meat even at the big kebab. There are enough yaprak kebabs in the city that are 100x better than this. And with the "new" tomato sauce on the kebab it doesn't taste any better - everything is still bland

I've been buying kebab there for over 20 years, absolutely one of the best snacks in Berlin, I've only just been there again.. What you should know, you have to like lamb. They have a Yaprak skewer. The meat is of the best quality, salad and bread are always fresh. The price/performance ratio is great. You should keep in mind that lamb is more expensive than veal. Otherwise, it's quite cramped to spend time inside, which is something you have to like.

One of my favorite kebabs in Berlin. The meat is unique and not like any run-of-the-mill kebab shop. The taste is a bit reminiscent of shawarma, but still very unique and special. I recommend everyone to try the kebab.

A perfect kebab! The meat is indescribably good and the salad is still crisp and cold even late in the evening. The portion size was perfect, not too big and especially not too small. I will definitely recommend Tekbir and have now found an excellent alternative to the well-known standard Berlin doner kebab with minced meat. Honestly guys, it's not worth comparing how good this kebab tastes!

Also a real original, I would say, please correct me, as far as I can remember, the first real layered beef skewer in X-Berg... But be careful with the lamb fat that is on top of the skewer, it tastes like that too ... I love it, many others don't... try it. I highly recommend it!

I noticed the kebab skewer as I was walking past in the area a few months ago. There is REAL MEAT on the skewer. No homogeneous mass. Meat. Piled up. Not stretched with bread and sawdust. Yes, exactly no sawdust. Unfortunately I don't know who their supplier is. It could even be that they make their own skewers. I won't eat kebab anywhere anymore unless I see a skewer like this. I think it's called Yaprak Döner. I'll wait another 3 months until I'm back in the area. Until then, I'll take a look at the skewers in the other stores, but I haven't seen one like this in Charlottenburg yet.

Visiting Berlin again after a long time and I can say that the kebab is still the best in Berlin. Price performance is just right, and in my opinion the people who criticize here have no idea what a good kebab is. I come from a family that was also in the business and I just know what a good kebab needs and that's what you get at Tekbir. Finally had a decent kebab in Berlin, I come from Mannheim and most of the kebabs in Berlin are really forgettable, despite good reviews. For me, doner kebab means real meat, not minced meat or chicken. And here you get meat, consisting of lamb/veal and skewered in layers, with the so-called "kuyruk yağı" on top, which is the fat from the tail part and gives the meat the necessary taste when it runs from above onto the meat, plus it's crispy Bread and a bit of salad, that's it, no vegetables and 5 sauces to hide poor quality meat. What's unusual is that the meat also has a slight hint of cinnamon, which is more in keeping with the Arabian region, but I found it very tasty. Fries hot, crispy and well seasoned. Afterwards, a good Turkish tea and a piece of baklava as the perfect ending. If you just want to eat a real kebab without any frills, this is the place for you!

Bester Döner mehr kann man nicht sagen....

Ein charmantes kleines Lokal mit einem freundlichen Besitzer. Man bekommt auch Tee kostenlos. Im Döner wird nur Kalbfleisch verwendet, das Rezept soll Original aus Anatolien sein. Allerdings gibt es einen Stern Abzug, da das Kalbfleisch im Döner für meinen Geschmack etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und trocken ist. Der Besitzer neigt dazu, mehr Öl zu verwenden, was den Döner ölig macht und den Genuss beeinträchtigt. Ich kann es daher nicht allzu oft essen.

Eine echte Überraschung. Dieser Döner Laden ist eine echte Perle, super saftiges und richtig lecker gewürztes Fleisch, frische Zutaten, erinnert mich an Imren. Das Fleisch ist hier heiß und frisch im Döner, freundlicher Service. Parken ist da eher schlecht, aber mit viel suchen klappt das auch irgendwann. Totale Empfehlung für diesen Laden, völlig underrated!

Leider überhaupt nicht meinen Geschmack getroffen, Fleisch hatte eine eigenartige Würzung (Zimt?). Ansonsten waren die Produkte frisch und Bedienung nett.

Vorzüglicher Döner. Vielleicht etwas klein, aber von bester Qualität, nicht so ein undefinierbares Pressfleisch wie meist. Und ein sehr freundlicher Wirt außerdem. Ich komme bestimmt öfter.

Hier gibt es den besten Döner überhaupt! Das Fleisch besteht zu 100% aus geschnetzeltem Schichtfleisch. Nicht so wie bei fast allen anderen Dönerläden, wo das Fleisch zum großen Teil oder sogar komplett aus Hackfleisch besteht. Die anderen Läden vekaufen also meistens Schrott! Der Salat war lecker und frisch. Die Pommes Frites sind auch superlecker!

Türkiye'de böyle bir döner hiç görmedim yemedim. Yoğun ağır baharat ve yağ tadı vardı. Ette dana etinden ziyade keçi ya da koyun eti olabilir,hatta et değilde kıyma demek daha doğru.Lezzet olarak Türk usulü bir döner değil. Porsiyonu kendimi zorlayarak bitirdim. Türk yaprak döneri dana etinden olur,ve cüzi olarak kuzu eti karıştırılır. Baharat neredeyse hiç katılmaz,belki marine edilir. Ama bu baharat ve yağ tadını hiçbir zaman öne çıkarmaz. Ama bu dönerde kullanılan et,sos ya da yağ çok ağır bir tada sahipti. Belki de bu tarzı sevenler vardır ama bu bana göre değil. Patates kızartması da diri ve iyi pişmemişti. Salatası iyi ve tazeydi.İyi olan bir diğer şey personelin güler yüzü ve yemek sonrası ikram ettiği çaydı.

Ich war vergangenes Wochenende hier. Es ist ein kleiner, unscheinbarer türkischer Imbiss. Das besondere hier: es wird echter Döner Kebab verkauft aus geschichteten Kalbs-/Lammfleisch. Wer hier einen „Standarddöner“ aus billig Hackfleisch erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Geschmacklich wirklich lecker. Die Portion ist etwas kleiner, als anderer Orts, was aber durch die Qualität mehr als kompensiert wird. Der Tee geht aufs Haus und leckerer Nachtisch ist auch im Angebot. Ich werde aufjedenfall regelmäßiger hier essen!

Ich bin extra von Hamburg nach Berlin gefahren und dieser Döner hat mich so überzeugt, der Geschmack war so intensiv lecker dass der Geschmack vom Rind noch 7-8 Stunden im Mund war. Vorallem die Tomaten waren auch sehr frisch.

Tips: go earlier or on a weekend before the trompo (yeah, I don't know the Turkish name for that vertical spit) is all carved down. Always add sumac, cabbage and pickles.

We had Adana kebab & doner. They were both tasty. The guys there were welcoming & warm. The doner was made of layered meat and not like common doners in Berlin which are made of minced meat.

Kein Standard, besser. Portionen sind klein, aber sehr lecker. Spezieller Döner Kebap mit SesamSoße. Check es selber aus, die Menschen sind meist freundlich und respektvoll.

Selbst in Berlin muss man mittlerweile suchen, um Döner zu finden, der nicht aus einer Hack-Wasserpampe besteht. Hier gibt es Scheibenfleisch (Lamm) und dazu sehr leckeres Brot. Ich komme wieder!
