K'Ups Gemüsekebap in Berlin

***UPDATE*** Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating from 3 to 1 star. After a good six months, a friend who was there with me that day received information that the owners intend to take legal action against the review. This behavior, driven by an obvious inability to accept criticism, is speechless, but it explains the good rating for this shop. So, they'd rather care about a critical review (which, incidentally, is true) than about the poor food quality or cleanliness. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** The doner kebab is probably rather average. The bread is nothing special, and they only serve chicken. The vegetables were unfortunately a bit soggy and consisted mainly of large chunks of potatoes. The sauces are tasty, but were used quite sparingly, even though I ordered them all. The cheese was also good, and the salad, etc., was fresh. The shop is small and could be tidier. The cleanliness was just acceptable.

Extremely tasty kebab. Super crispy bread that is not your run-of-the-mill bread. One of the best kebabs I've ever tasted. Prices are reasonable (7€). Very good quality of the goods used. The ambience is...well...order the kebab and eat it quickly. There is little space inside and things don't look any better outside. Customers are therefore more likely to be walk-in customers. Preparation is quick and takes on average 5 minutes, but can sometimes take longer if there is a big rush. But it doesn't matter, because you can eat really tasty food here. Clear recommendation.

One of the best kebabs I've ever had in Berlin. With grilled vegetables and a generous filling. €6 and €6.50 for the whole-wheat version.😋

Super tasty kebab. I ate the chicken and vegetable kebab. The employees are quick and friendly. The store is well attended. We were just able to get a table. In summer there is the option to sit outside.

A delicious kebab, worthy of being on par with Ruyam. Delicious, crispy, juicy meat, sauces do not kill the taste of vegetables and meat, fresh and crispy roll, fantastic grilled vegetables and salad. Only the portion is quite small, but the price is also adequate.

The kebab is really good! One of the best in my life! I really appreciate a lot of attention to details, especially, they spread the sauce evenly on the spread which makes the food much tastier, a lot of the kebab shops don’t bother! The bread is crispy and soft, also apart from the normal salad, they added some baked vegetables and chips, cheese and lemon juice, which makes it fancy!

probably my worst döner experience for a shop that has such a good rating! 1. no red cabbage??? 2. quantity: i ordered a little döner box and barely had any meat or salad. the box feels empty and is not filled to the top like most döner places do. definitely not worth the price 3. the meat in itself was bad, completely soft as if it's only fat and not real meat, while half of the bits were burned. it was the last chunk left on the skewer, but it's not an excuse 4. slow service and it's hard to understand why. long queue awaits the 1 star is for the toilet that was really clean and had soap, which is rare :) but that was the only nice part of it....

A beautiful, well-kept place that you are not ashamed to invite someone to and a great price - this is what I remember most after visiting K'Ups. It was the cheapest, most profitable kebab of my entire kebab trip. And full appreciation for that! The kebab itself was very good, but not the best I've had - it's a solid, average kebab among the best in Berlin. In the middle of my personal ranking. I recommend checking it out!

It was delicious and exciting to be able to choose other sauces and wholemeal bread. I really liked the hummus and garlic sauce and everything was prepared quickly and freshly. I will definitely use the wholemeal bread again

We finally found this place again. Taste 100/10 - more delicate Gemüse Kebap than Rüyam Gemüse Kebab - for top Berlin kebabs

Overall a solid vegetable kebab. There are only deductions for the bread, which was too dry and crispy for me personally. But there are also other types of bread, e.g. whole grain, maybe they are better. Otherwise, delicious vegetables, fresh salad and no expense was spared on the sheep's cheese. Waiting time on a Saturday afternoon was very short.

Very good kebab, well-seasoned crispy fries and fresh, crisp and clean salad. Price-performance fits. Both the falafel and vegetable kebab were excellent, especially with the whole wheat bread.

Good value for money - fresh vegetables, pickles, feta cheese and a touch of lemon juice. Meat slightly burnt for a light crunch. Half a point is deducted for the fact that a little too little sauce is put on the kebab and the staff is quite slow.

A great shop - great team, very tasty kebabs and luckily never too crowded even on weekends. I like coming here!

Kebap is one of the best things to eat in germany. However this place is NOT it. Somehow this place has high reviews, but if you are looking for an amazing kepab…try another place. Bread was too thick and dry, and the meat was cold and too salty. The quality just isnt at this place.

Unfortunately, the product was not good and hygiene was not taken into consideration. I always say this once; If the main ingredient in gemüse kebab is chicken meat, it may include skin, cartilage, etc. There shouldn't be things like that, there should be meat. The piece of skin we found even had feathers on it. We even noticed that it was on the plate. If it was in a wrap, you wouldn't see it, you would eat it. Unfortunately not. It gets stuck in your teeth, so you can't chew it. We did not find this place adequate in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. In general, the business seemed a bit adrift. So everyone is in their own world. I was really surprised. It is thought-provoking that it received such high scores from so many people! I won't go again and I don't recommend it to anyone. Whatever we experienced was written in the kindest way possible. Are only high scores allowed? Can't stomach criticism? Then you will pay attention to your work.

Döner is amazing however it’s not really the best in town because the meat filling is little, bread is thick, and sauces aren’t extra enough to provide the desired juiciness to the Doner. If they work on that I promise they can change my mind

It's stupid when Google Maps says "Dogs allowed" and you're greeted with a "Dogs must stay outside" sign when you get there. Also have no control window. Can't put my dog ​​on a leash or hand it to a stranger to order.

It used to be my go-to shop when visitors came and I wanted to show them a really good kebab. Since the renovation, neither the kebab is good nor is the price justified for the small portion. I'm not going here anymore. There are much better alternatives for less money. Most of them also taste better. It's a shame, but that's how it is sometimes.

The chicken burger was so good and we had large chips between 2 of us which could have fed 4. Staff were friendly and helped us choose and brought the food to the table.

Well, went there one afternoon based on the good reviews. Service unfriendly and sweaty. Fries were forgotten, when I asked, they said I hadn't ordered any fries and only after the salesperson called in did the colleague finally prepare them. I was held back (“ready in 2 minutes”) and they obviously took their time, so I had to eat my Dürüm without my friends. The taste in the wholemeal dough is also not convincing, I would describe it as a standard kebab. Dripping with fat and it's leaking out. That messed up my entire pants. Won't be coming back again.

Just when you think that all the kebabs in Berlin are more or less good, here comes the disappointment. Flavors not blended, poorly assorted vegetables, haphazard and assembly line service, very hot inside and microscopic tables outside. Very bad.

I will say that we went to this neighborhood to try a Kebab. Some of the lineups in the area were huge. Luckily, this one was quite manageable. The time spent in line gave us a good chance to figure out what to order hahaha. There are not a lot of complicated choices - basically, chicken in the traditional "pocket" style bread (perfectly toasted), in a wrap, or deconstructed in a box. There is also a vegetarian option. Putting it together - pick a sauce or two and choose toppings. There are a couple of sides such as fries, halloumi cheese, and salad. As for drinks, there are no alcohol choices (see pic). The staff is very friendly and extremely busy. The owner, in the chaos, did not get frustrated as we worked through language and hand motions hahahaha. Very good spot. Thanks.
