Cozy restaurant, very friendly and accommodating hosts and delicious food.

Very friendly staff, delicious food (gyros with tzatziki). We even got a complimentary ouzo beforehand. We will definitely come back.

There were three of us, and we had a fantastic meal! The gyros was delicious and, most importantly, not greasy at all. We'll definitely be back! It's well worth the trip from Haan to Solingen.

We visited this restaurant for the first time as it had the best reviews among all Greek restaurants. My parents are big fans of Greek cuisine and invited us here. Of course we are used to different food, but we still enjoyed it very much. Personally, I would recommend ordering some tzatziki for the bread as a starter - then it's even better. Each of us had a starter, all of which were excellent. We were also impressed with the main course, especially the potato slices that came with it, which were really a highlight, as was the bread, and even better with tzatziki.

We've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed! The food is always excellent. The kitchen and service staff are always focused on customer satisfaction. We always have been, and we will continue to come back for a lovely evening enjoying delicious food. Thank you to the entire team at Taverna Mykonos. The best Greek restaurant for miles around! I've been coming here every Tuesday for well over a year, and I'm always impressed! Great food, a lovely manager, and very friendly staff, including the kitchen staff, who simply know what they're doing! Keep up the good work, but it doesn't get any better!

I've been coming here for many years, but I've never been as disappointed as I was today. I usually order the same food, and the price is now €10 more than usual. Okay, everything has gone up in price, but today was the first time I didn't get full, and the price increase is unacceptable to me. Not only that, but I also felt like I was being completely rushed off; reordered drinks didn't arrive, and empty glasses don't bother the staff at all. I'll be looking for a new Greek restaurant; I won't be eating here again.

Sorry, but I went out to eat again today. The food was inedible, the rice was way too salty. I told the waiter that it wasn't that good, and they just laughed at me.

Yesterday I ate at Mykonos for the first time in a while. I hadn't ordered the "Mykonos Grill" in many years, but yesterday I finally did. Memories of 30 years ago came flooding back. It's still delicious, and there's still plenty of it :-) It's great that Mykonos (the last of three restaurants in the area) is still there!

We've been going there for decades because the food is truly delicious. The tzatziki, in particular, is the best!

I've been a regular customer there since I was a child. The food is really very good, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're on vacation. Minor criticisms: - Unfortunately, the portion sizes of the dishes have been drastically reduced. - No more decorations on the plates, no more pepperoni on the farmer's salad. It's always been a part of the menu. It's a shame. - The online price list doesn't quite match the menu. Still, 5 stars, we'll be happy to come back :)

The whole team, including Katja & Ioannis, is simply adorable! The food offers a wide selection of typical Greek specialties! The menu has recently been expanded to include two more highlights! (Just stop by ;-) ) For me and my family, this is one of the best Greek restaurants in Solingen and the surrounding area! A cozy evening at the Taverne Mykonos in SG-Höhscheid is always worth it!

I was looking for a Greek restaurant for meses. Google showed me Taverne Mykonos. Based on the good reviews, we reserved a table there. The food arrived relatively quickly after ordering. I had asked if the bread could be grilled or toasted, but this was unfortunately declined. The meses came on one platter, not on separate plates as I've come to expect from my countless vacations in Greece. The selection was limited, and I had hoped for more. No fish, no meat, just vegetables and dips. The value for money at Taverne Mykonos is very good, and the service is very friendly. Parking is available on the street nearby.

We really can't understand the 4.7 average rating here. Worst Greek food in a long time. Sorry, but it's true... I'll try to keep it short... So, I ordered tzatziki in advance. It was way too garlicky and therefore way too spicy. Unfortunately, there was also dill in it. Yes, unfortunately, some people do that. Unfortunately, it didn't taste like "anything more." Then we had saganaki as an appetizer. Carelessly placed on a plate with an olive and a slice of carrot. Unfortunately, there were no onions. It was edible, but nothing special. The bread that came with it was just OK... The side salads, however, were really great. Great and tasty salad. Homemade coleslaw. Top-notch olive oil. The main course, however, was unfortunately very disappointing. I had a farmer's plate, my wife a Mykonos plate. In this case, it was a good thing the portions weren't very large. Farmer's plate €23. These fried potato slices weren't our cup of tea. Plain and in a strange consistency with a bit of paprika powder on top. Maybe they should have tried adding salt. The gyro was half-raw and way overseasoned. The same goes for the mini meatballs. The liver was extremely thyme-dominant. The skewer had very small, diced, tough pieces of veal on it. The liver was sliced ​​quite thinly and extremely soft and mushy in the mouth. The whole meat had an extremely smoky flavor, as if it had been artificially enhanced with flavoring. It was all too extreme. Although we also have a smoker at home and love a good smoky flavor. By the way... yes, we've also been to Greece several times. By the way, we chose the restaurant based on the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, once again, it just doesn't mean anything. This was a total flop...

It was my first time there, and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and everyone was very friendly. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended. I've had quite a few tzatzikis in my life, but this is truly the best... The prices are definitely reasonable.

Solid Greek restaurant. Every evening is like a short vacation.

The food is very tasty, the service is friendly and individual requests are taken into account. Portions are generous. The restaurant is always busy and busy. Only - the restaurant can't really help it - the customers (I see them going in/out) often park on the sidewalk and in or immediately before/after the curves. An appeal: The road is wide enough, please park with all four tires on it. If a lot of people are eating/smoking outside, you can no longer get through as a pedestrian. The lowered sidewalk on the curve is there for a reason, and as a driver it's dangerous to have to turn blindly. You can definitely find other parking spaces nearby. Thank you very much.

We come to Mykonos regularly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. However, last Sunday we were very surprisingly disappointed. We asked to sit at a free table further up front. We had reserved because it was my mother's birthday. The lady who had assigned us the place reacted very rudely and called in the deputy boss. He didn't want to give us the space and reacted very annoyed and rude. It wasn't full at that point. We ended up sitting near the front but were very shocked at the surprisingly rude behavior. In addition, when the table was set, the plates were noticeably dirty. This had never happened before. We asked for new plates and pointed out the dirt. The younger man with glasses also reacted very rudely and rolled his eyes as he walked and cursed in Greek (?). We got new plates. We didn't understand the reaction because there's nothing personal about pointing out plates that were accidentally not washed properly. That evening, however, things were taken personally. This resulted in us not being offered any new drinks, nor was the table cleared. Only when we wanted to pay were we noticed again and the plates were cleared away. The sound makes the music. We asked in a normal tone for another table and also pointed out the dirty plates. Especially since it wasn't the first time we asked for a table further up front and it had never been a problem. Unfortunately that was the last time we were there for us. It's a shame and unexpected and even though this tavern has enough regular customers and they don't care if we come back, which we felt very clearly, the anger was so great that I couldn't resist listing this negative experience here.

The two of us ate there for the first time. Everything we tried was delicious, the meat was tender and the starters were all very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it and will definitely visit again.

Mixed starters / meze (1 portion) are best enjoyed with two or three people, followed by a main course. The host had pointed out the large portion. Satisfactory in taste. Bread lightly grilled, oiled and with garlic would have been the icing on the cake. Very clean shop, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere.

Very friendly and accommodating with good food.

We recently dined at this restaurant and the food was good and we enjoyed it. However, there was one point that bothered us: At the beginning we were served ouzo, which we left behind because we still had to drive. When we finally paid, the waiter told us to let us know next time if we didn't want ouzo otherwise he would have to throw it away. I wonder why you don't ask if you want the ouzo beforehand instead of just serving it. Unfortunately, this inflexible approach annoyed us and will mean that we will no longer go to this restaurant.

Our absolute favorite restaurant, and has been for so many years. Just yesterday we were there again and enjoyed delicious food and great service. We now live in Wuppertal, but we're always happy to make the journey. See you next time

The food was very tasty and the service was quick and friendly. The steak was tasty but not the most tender. The baby calamari was on point and the lemon sauce that was served afterwards should be included as it goes very well with it. The Mykonos plate was plentiful but some tzatziki would have made it perfect.

I've been going to this Greek restaurant for almost 20 years and have always eaten very well. The furnishings aren't to my taste, but the partition walls mean it's not that loud. The service is always great. The food is to die for. This is the best salad dressing I've ever tasted. The sliced ​​potatoes and meat are also highly recommended. The gyro meat was very tender and the fish was very fresh. The service was very accommodating and very friendly, we felt very welcome.

There was a lot of ribs, but very dry. I recommend adding at least the Zazicki.

We were in the restaurant for the first time. Since it is the restaurant with the best rating in all of Solingen, we had high expectations. A table was specially reserved for 2 people. When we arrived there were only questioning looks and people talked for a while in Greek (the feeling arose as if nothing about our reservation was in the book and so a solution was being sought) luckily there was apparently still something available anyway and we were escorted to the table. First of all, all the employees were friendly. When it came time to order the food, the good mood of the lady who served us was increasingly gone? Since I'm pregnant, I asked about alcohol in the dish. Unfortunately, the lady didn't know whether there was actually alcohol in the dish or not, but she "thought" there was. Okay, so when you asked me again about another dish whether there was alcohol in the sauce, you were looked at questioningly and got a questioning answer that it was an onion sauce and there couldn't be any alcohol in it? So I specially ordered this dish. The lady also seemed slightly annoyed when my husband ordered and the restaurant wasn't full. When my dish arrived, as feared, there was alcohol in my onion sauce (which, according to the lady, couldn't have any alcohol for that reason?) So my husband was allowed to enjoy the food (who, slightly tipsy, confirmed the strong alcohol taste and its effects). Since I can't eat much anyway, I had my leftovers from my husband's actual dish packed up. The lady was also very annoyed and didn't believe us (apparently, since I hadn't finished) that we enjoyed it. The reaction made me feel bad and I had the feeling that I had to justify why I couldn't eat as much. But even then the lady just seemed disinterested and annoyed. It was supposed to be a nice evening, but unfortunately that wasn't the case given the circumstances. We definitely won't come back because the staff doesn't seem to know what's in their dishes or doesn't even ask in the kitchen when they're unsure and seems to get annoyed with even the smallest questions. It's a shame because the food was actually quite good.

When we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and shown to the table presented. Drinks were ordered quickly and served chilled. The memory card leaves nothing to be desired for me. Through a Google search for a Greek restaurant in Solingen, my daughter spontaneously came here on a Sunday afternoon and got a table without a reservation (very nice welcome and great service). Our food was really tasty and we will be back in September, even though it is over 30 kilometers away

We were guests here for the first time today. The salad as a starter was very tasty, the dressing was simply amazing. For the main course, my husband had the grill plate special and I had the gyro gratin. Very good gyros, seasoned well and prepared with a lot of love as it tasted. The tzatziki is to die for! The best thing I've eaten out so far. The service is also top notch and the furnishings are really nice. You just feel good.

We had dinner here for the first time in the evening. The decor is typically Greek, the service was friendly. Unfortunately, a request for changes regarding the Meze was not responded to. The bread for the tzatziki was not baked and tasted a bit dry. Flatbread would be better here. The potato slices were very crispy and tasty, the side salad was simple but tasty. The meat on the grill plate was good. The souvlaki skewer was juicy, the meatball was good, the gyro was a bit dry. Leftovers that we didn't manage to make were very nicely packed up for us. In conclusion, everything was good but nothing extraordinary.

We went to the Mykonos tavern on Regerstrasse again today and can recommend it with enthusiasm!! Very nice and cozy atmosphere, extremely fast and really attentive service. As always (we have been going to this restaurant for over 12 years), the food was absolutely great. In our opinion, there is by far no better Greek restaurant than the Mykonos Tavern on Regerstrasse. It was just a very nice evening again today and we are looking forward to the next visit!!
