My absolute favorite restaurant in Solingen. Great food & great service.

I haven't been here for a while and I think it's great again. Starters delicious, plentiful and visually delicious. A grilled plate that I couldn't finally finish. It's a shame there won't be nice weather tomorrow. So be it. Only the parking situation is unpleasant and you must book a table in advance, even during the week.

I enjoyed a Greek salad on the way to Solingen that was very fresh. The vinegar and oil dressing was homemade and incredibly delicious, a delight!!!

We had dinner here for the first time in the evening. The decor is typically Greek, the service was friendly. Unfortunately, a request for changes regarding the Meze was not responded to. The bread for the tzatziki was not baked and tasted a bit dry. Flatbread would be better here. The potato slices were very crispy and tasty, the side salad was simple but tasty. The meat on the grill plate was good. The souvlaki skewer was juicy, the meatball was good, the gyro was a bit dry. Leftovers that we didn't manage to make were very nicely packed up for us. In conclusion, everything was good but nothing extraordinary.

We went to the Mykonos tavern on Regerstrasse again today and can recommend it with enthusiasm!! Very nice and cozy atmosphere, extremely fast and really attentive service. As always (we have been going to this restaurant for over 12 years), the food was absolutely great. In our opinion, there is by far no better Greek restaurant than the Mykonos Tavern on Regerstrasse. It was just a very nice evening again today and we are looking forward to the next visit!!

The food was very tasty. My husband was thrilled too. The service was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is very nice. We felt very comfortable. We had grilled plates with gyros and three kinds of lamb (grilled to perfection). Unfortunately I don't remember the exact name. We would be happy to come back. I forgot to take photos.

We went to the restaurant for the first time with friends following a recommendation. We liked it very much. Atmosphere like on vacation. Very clean and well maintained. Our food was great! Steak, gyros and salad tasted very good. A delicious salad dressing, the roasted potatoes were crispy but not greasy, the portions are large. The staff was very friendly. We had a great evening and would love to come back.

We had severe stomach problems after visiting the restaurant. I am pregnant and even had to be hospitalized. The owner told us while we were visiting the restaurant that many employees were sick. Afterwards I found out that many guests had had stomach problems for more than 2 weeks. Why do you only act after such a long time and accept that other guests could become infected?

Top address in Solingen. The food is incredibly delicious - try it yourself - whether meze, baby calamaria, gyros, lamb etc... a Greek dream. The team goes above and beyond every day - the service is always very courteous and very friendly - we have been coming back for years and will continue to do so.

I have enjoyed eating there with my family for many years. The food is still delicious! Definitely our “favorite Greek” in Solingen. Of course...let's be realistic...The prices have risen significantly and unfortunately the portions have also become smaller at the same time. But that doesn't change the taste and the always friendly staff. You always feel good and even if the portions are smaller you still end up “overeating”. Only wish: Children's menus should not cost more than 7.50 euros and include a small drink! No matter which restaurant...That's just not ok!

After visiting with the family everyone got gastrointestinal problems. Did you find out from the newspaper that the health department closed the restaurant because of norovirus? Dozens of employees and guests infected with the virus. Everything is kept secret on the Mykonos website. Perhaps there are blatant hygiene deficiencies in this restaurant? We and our friends and acquaintances can no longer visit the restaurant.

Edit 2024: Noro virus alert on March 2nd, 2024. Went there with 6 people, 4 of them drank their hearts out the next day. It wasn't funny! Original review: Does a Greek have to offer Metaxagyros? Lt. This does not exist in Greece. I want to believe unseen. :) It's a shame anyway. It's also a shame that the replacement product, gyros baked in onion sauce with cheese, then comes out of the oven far dry. Where was the sauce? Couldn't find anything in terms of taste or appearance. My companion's fish was fried to death and just as dry. I'm often told that it's great in Mykonos because you're often asked if you'd like something more to drink. Unfortunately, I have experienced the opposite on ALL my visits so far. I've been there about 5 times now and you'll only be asked once if you'd like something more to drink. After that, no one comes and you have to shout or sit in front of an empty glass for hours. Apparently there is no longer any need to earn money, because everyone knows that in the catering industry you earn most of your money from drinks... Why do I still give 3 stars? Because it should reflect all my visits cumulatively. And at least the food has been better in the past than the last time I visited. Edit June 2019: The salad with gyros is awesome. The salad dressing is great and in combination with the gyros including the marinade is world class. Therefore increased to 4 stars. But drinks still come very sporadically.

We caught norovirus there last week for 80 euros. My whole family plus small child! Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones affected. The Food Inspection Office confirmed this to us. It's a shame, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We were very satisfied again. The atmosphere is still very cozy, everything seems very inviting. The staff is really very friendly and helpful. The boss still serves personally. For our taste, the food is the best in the area. We have tried many Greek restaurants, but we like it best here. We always like it.

There were 5 ladies there, 3 of them had to deal with the worst gastrointestinal infections a day later and were on sick leave for over a week

We were there with 15 people and were able to enjoy delicious food and great service. Everything is done here to make a visit to the restaurant a particularly pleasant experience. Prices are absolutely reasonable! We'd love to come back!

Ich war leider dieses Mal enttäuscht. Es war wie immer ziemlich voll, was aber grundsätzlich kein negativer Punkt ist. Durch die einzelnen kleinen Nischen ist es trotzdem gemütlich. Jedoch die Dame die uns bediente war erstens nicht aufmerksam und zweitens schlecht gelaunt. Ich fühlte mich fast so als ob ich stören würde. Gegessen habe ich Gyros mit Zaziki. Bisher war ich immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen, aber dieses Mal war das Fleisch sehr durchwachsen. Alles in allem war der Abend eher mäßig

Tolles Essen in einem tollen, Inhaber geführten Restaurant. Seit Jahren gleichbleibende hochwertige Qualität der Speisen und vom Service. Der Bauernteller, vorab ein Bauernsalat, sind absolut zu empfehlen.

Ich war vor 30 Jahren das erste Mal hier essen. Seitdem besuche ich das Restaurant regelmäßig oder bestelle für die Familie etwas zum Abholen. Es ist in Solingen und Umgebung tatsächlich das beste griechische Restaurant, da die Speisen immer gleichbleibend hochwertig und schmackhaft sind. Seit 30 Jahren hat Yannis immer gute Laune und nimmt sich Zeit für seine Gäste. Vielen lieben Dank für den regelmäßigen "Kurzurlaub" nach Mykonos 🤗 Bleib so wie Du bist und mach so weiter. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend mit tollem Essen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und Preis, Leistung war auch angemessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können somit das Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen .

Wir waren am Sonntag zum 1.x da. Jianni hat uns unser 1.Mal ausgesprochen angenehm gestaltet. Die Vorspeiseplatte, Salate und Gerichte sind sehr schmackhaft. Man merkt schon das die Gerichte frisch zubereitet werden und so manches Rezept aus dem Familien Fundus gezaubert wird. Vielen Dank nochmal für den netten Nachmittag und Eure Gastfreundschaft! Wie immer alles sehr gut und lecker!!

Wir gehen mehrere Male im Jahr zu "unserem" Griechen. Wir sind stets sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen, den Mitarbeitern und dem Ambiente. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr freundlich, selbst wenn viel Stress ist. Der Chef ist immer zuvorkommend. Das gesamte Team fragt regelmäßig nach, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir fühlen uns immer herzlich aufgenommen. Das Essen überzeugt uns immer wieder aufs Neue. Sehr sehr lecker. Man sollte allerdings besser immer einen Tisch reservieren, manchmal ist sonst alles voll. Alles in allem ein wirklich gutes Restaurant mit tollen Mitarbeitern, einer typisch griechischen Einrichtung und einem sehr guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis.

Ein tolles Restaurant! Sehr zu empfehlen. Hier wird Service vom Herzen her gelebt. Meine Frau und ich waren gestern das erste Mal im Mykonos und waren wirklich begeistert. Die Qualität des Essens war super. Wir haben gespürt, dass sich hier jemand sehr viele Gedanken macht. Allein die hausgemachte Salatsauce war unfassbar lecker. Aber auch das Hauptgericht und der Nachtisch waren super! So gut das Essen so perfekt der gesamte Aufenthalt. Es fängt mit der kleinen Einleitung in der Karte an, wie die Philosophie des Essens dort gelebt wird und zieht sich im Service durch. Wir wurden sehr gut bedient mit einer Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit, die man sonst tatsächlich eher aus südlichen Ländern kennt. Für uns sind es 30 Minuten aus Hilden aber die fährt man gerne für einen so schönen Abend! Danke!!!

Taverne Mykonos - eine ambivalente Essenserfahrung. Herzlicher, bemühter und flotter Service, der uns sehr gefallen hat. Vorspeisen und Salat ein echter Genuss. Preise absolut vertretbar. Wir kamen aus dem Schwärmen kaum mehr raus, bis die Hauptspeisen gereicht wurden. Alle drei waren gut, wurden dem Level der Vorspeisen jedoch nicht gerecht und wirkten unscheinbar. Wir testen beim nächsten Besuch andere Gerichte und lassen uns gerne auf eine neue Erfahrung ein

Nach meiner Meinung ist das der beste Grieche in Solingen (zumindest von denen ich kenne). Natürlich passieren auch mal kleine Fehler aber wenn man etwas sagt werden diese umgehend korrigiert. Bin dort immer zufrieden und hat mit Abstand das beste Zikizaki😁 und der Bauernsalat ist auch der beste 👍👍👍. Danke fühle mich dort immer willkommen, weiter so. Allerdings sollte man vorher reservieren da aufgrund der oben geschilderten Dinge der Laden immer voll ist.

Große Speisenauswahl, gute Qualität, zügigeBedienung

Das erste Mal war ich mit 11 dort und jetzt 31 Jahre später ist es für mich immer noch wie früher und vor allem gibt es dort das beste Essen was ich je im Restaurant gegessen habe und meine Kinder bekommen jedesmal ein Eis geschenkt. Ich werde ,sofern es mir möglich ist, noch weitere 30 Jahre hier essen gehen. Ich hoffe nur das sich irgendwann was an der Parkplatzsituation ändert

Na ja.....wir wollten Freitag dort essen Es war sehr voll. Auf die Frage nach einem Platz für 3 Personen wurden wir zunächst abschätzend gemustert, dann wurde uns ein Tisch im vorderen Bereich zugewiesen. Aber ihr habt Zeit ? Worauf wir bejahten. Hatten wir ja a auch. Als allerderdings nach einer Viertelstunde keinerlei Notiz von uns genommen wurde, gingen wir. Ein absolutes No-Go, nicht zumindest Getränke anzubieten! Unser schnupper Essen für einen runden Geburtstag mit 40 Personen hatte sich damit erledigt. Aber, wir würden anderweitig fündig. Es wurde nicht nur ein gelungener Abend. Die Geburtstagsfeier ist unter Dach und Fach. Über die Qualität des Essens kann ich sagen. Denke, daß aber nicht mehr probieren zu wollen.

Ich gehe gerne in dieses Restaurant.Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft.Die Fischgerichte und die Rinderleber finde ich besonders lecker.Das Tzatziki ist sehr cremig und lecker.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.Die Inneneinrichtung erinnert mich an meinen Urlaub in Korfu.Das Ambiente ist einfach schön.
