Always friendly, delicious food and drinks, where the price and performance are perfect.

On November 1st been there for the first time. Read a lot of reviews beforehand, so expectations were high. And what can I say? Everything is true!!! Although packed, there was still room for four additional people. Service friendly, quick and attentive. The innkeepers create a “family feeling”. Food is delicious and portion sizes are reasonable, drinks are replenished without waiting and a quick chat with the innkeeper when you leave. Overall very good and definitely worth further visits. Number of people: 16

A favorite restaurant of my family for many years. Fine, home-style Greek food. It's always delicious and if I could I would give the service even more stars. Mr. Boss welcomes every guest with a sincere warmth that is second to none. The same goes for how the staff treats children.

My absolute favorite restaurant! The food simply tastes great. Regardless of whether it's a starter, main course or dessert, there is something for everyone and in my opinion the price is perfectly reasonable given this quality. Special requests will be taken into account as far as possible. And if it's just fried onions for the son. Which, according to him, were “The Hammer”. ;-) Everything is freshly prepared, there is no pre-cooking and keeping warm. The carrots in the salad are freshly grated, the meat is cooked to perfection, fried, grilled... The chocolate soufflé for dessert is baked HOME, not something warmed up in the microwave from the subway. It takes a little longer, but it's definitely worth the wait! The mango ice cream and cream rounds the whole thing off perfectly. But not only the food, but also the service is great. Always friendly, quick, attentive and always available for a nice chat whenever there is time. During the week you can risk showing up without a reservation, at least with three people. On weekends it makes more sense to make a reservation. Even though we were kindly pushed in between when we were careless enough not to make a reservation. Thank you again for that. We always enjoy coming back. You are the best! ♥

We came from Ludwigshafen to spend some lovely days in Oberhausen. We discovered the restaurant by chance and I can only recommend everyone to eat there. The food, whether starter or main course, was a poem. Meat so tender, baked potato perfect, I could talk about it for days. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again

We reserved a table for five people a good two weeks in advance. We were greeted in the entrance area and immediately put off because the telephone rang. The owner mumbled something and went into the kitchen. An employee then tried to help us, but unfortunately she had no overview. This impression was confirmed when the owner returned, first looking for our reservation and then for a free table. We asked if it was possible to sit outside, which he had to think about first. He led us to a table at the back of the conservatory that was clearly intended for four people and said it would fit five. Especially since the table next to us was so close that the person would have hit their chair against the neighboring table and would have had to get up every time to make room for the other guest. Apparently it wasn't enough, there was barely room for five plates and glasses. My friend told him that politely but firmly, to which the owner replied that there were only tables for 4 or 6 people. My friend replied that 5 people required a 6 person table. When we asked him whether he had a table for 5, he said no and when we asked him why he even accepted the reservation if he didn't have a table, he became very angry. He wouldn't argue with us and threw us out with the words: "Please leave the restaurant now." I thanked him with "Thank you very much for the expulsion", and when he started to ask what I meant, I just replied that everything had been said. Then came another reply that I no longer understood and I said when leaving the restaurant, he should keep his mouth shut. This is actually not my style, but such behavior and the way he treats his guests is simply disrespectful and cheeky.

There were seven of us there and we were seated at a table that was far too narrow. I felt like I was sitting on the lap of the person next to me. It was very stuffy and warm and the service sometimes took a long time. The food was okay, but the meat was a bit tough so I couldn't eat some pieces. Unfortunately, the food wasn't really presented in an appetizing way, which I found a bit of a shame. The baked potato with the tzatziki was very tasty. The prices were also quite high for the entire package.

Really very nice, warm staff. Despite being busy, attentive and very hard working. The portions were sufficient and generous. An absolute recommendation is the chocolate soufflé!! Ambience and furnishings could be modernized.

A cozy restaurant with a family atmosphere. The food was very tasty, varied and the price/performance ratio was absolutely okay. There is no long waiting time and you always ask if you are satisfied. Dessert is also highly recommended.

Very nice; warm and cozy restaurant. The owner is very friendly aswell. The starter was very delicious, the main dish was alright but i’m used to better Greek food. It is however not that expensive so it was a good price for good food. We also got a free ouzo and free salad.

We ate there yesterday. I must admit that I didn't expect such a big variety of food and every single one to be so tasty! My kids couldn't stop saying "yummy yummy in my tummy". I'm looking forward of eating there again. If you haven't yet gone to Artemis restaurant, then do it NOW!!!

Immer wieder lecker,egal ob vor Ort oder zum mitnehmen. Haben gestern dort eine Platte für 2 Personen geholt. Das Gyros war total hart,und einfach ungenießbar. Ich habe sowas noch nie dort erlebt, habe einfach dort angerufen, und gesagt,das es diesmal enttäuschend war.. Nach einer kurzen Rücksprache mit dem Chef, erklärte mir dann die Mitarbeiterin, das es schonmal vorkommen kann,da es der erste Schnitt war,und sagte mir dann,das wir 2 Portion Gyros gut geschrieben bekommen. 😊 Danke. Haben heute wieder was geholt,Und wie immer sehr lecker.

Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut. Der Service, sprich Bedienung ließ manchmal auf sich warten. Das Ambiente fand ich nicht so ansprechend. Wir haben zur Straße gesessen, im Wintergarten. Die Heizung war angestellt auf sage und schreibe 30!! Grad. Unerträglich. Einigen Gäste war es zu warm, die haben sich kurzerhand umgesetzt. Preise sind ziemlich üppig.

Es war klasse dort. Das Essen schmeckt super, der Service sehr sehr freundlich. Kann ich zu 100 % empfehlen.

Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, schneller Service. Wir gehen sehr gerne dort essen. Was ich allerdings bemängeln muss/möchte ist: die Portionen sind kleiner geworden und die Preise erhöht. Mir ist die wirtschaftliche Krise dank der Corona Pandemie usw. bewusst, jedoch finde ich entweder die Portionen kleiner machen oder belassen und die Preise erhöhen. Trotzdem werden wir immer wieder gerne dort hingehen. Wir lieben das essen dort🥰

Mein Mann & ich haben letztes Jahr unsere Hochzeit in der Taverne Artemis mit ca. 50 Gästen gefeiert. Die Location wurde für uns nach unseren Wünschen dekoriert und der Sektempfang war genau zur richtigen Zeit vorbereitet. Das Essen wurde für alle perfekt geliefert, jeder Gast hat uns nach der Hochzeit auf das leckere Essen angesprochen. Vater & Tochter & die Servicekräfte sind ein absolut eingespieltes Team die mit ihrer lockeren Art jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ablesen. Wir waren vorher schon öfter dort & gehen immernoch gerne dorthin. Egal was wir bisher auf der Karte bestellt haben, es war immer perfekt. So wie man sich einen richtig guten Griechen vorstellt. Das Essen war leider nur lauwarm, der Gyros sehr fettig und nicht mehr cross, Pommes waren ungesalzen und "wabbelig". Es war sehr voll, wir haben trotzdem einen Tisch bekommen, Bedienung war super freundlich und zuvorkommend

Essen und Ambiente waren gut, ich werde das Lokal bestimmt nochmal aufsuchen.

Wir waren gestern in der Taverne Artemis essen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker und die Hauptspeise hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, das Fleisch war sehr saftig und lecker. Der Service war sehr gut, sehr freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Wir waren dort zum ersten aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal.

..es war wie immer sehr lecker - weiter so! Kommen immer wieder gerne!!
