I highly recommend this restaurant; it's great, delicious food. Generous portions and good value for money. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. You're served promptly, even when it's busy. I was offered a free ouzo before dinner, and another ouzo after paying the bill. Great restaurant, I'll definitely go there again.

We didn't have a reservation on a Friday night and were lucky to even get a seat, as it was packed. Nevertheless, we got our drinks within 10 minutes and our food within half an hour. The portions were very generous and absolutely delicious. The staff were always prompt and super friendly. Highly recommended!

Very delicious food with friendly service. Meat grilled to buttery tenderness, delicious fries, tasty paprika rice, delicious salad, and well-chilled drinks. A good year and a half ago, we were also able to hold the funeral service for my mother, who had passed away at the time. It was also very dignified, friendly, and delicious. For that alone, I'm still grateful to Restaurant Artemis to this day! Thank you so much for everything! ♥️

We went shopping in the Centro in Oberhausen and ate here for the first time. EVERYTHING is just right here. There is nothing to complain about, value for money, super tasty, staff is nice and accommodating, clean and a relaxed atmosphere :). Can only be recommended!!!!

Nach vielen Jahren mal wieder hier zu Besuch gewesen. Draußen Art Wintergarten gesessen, Dach war geöffnet Klasse. Bedienung kam sofort, freundlich auf Zack. Lammkotelett sehr empfehlenswert wenig Fett sehr lecker, Pommes top. Preise sehr gut, lediglich majo um Einwegtüten ist out. Kommen gerne wieder

Great food, totally delicious, great service and now the best part, I have gluten intolerance which isn't a problem there. They are very knowledgeable about the topic there. A separate pot with separate oil is used for fries. Of course this is done separately. You are great. Thank you for the lovely evening.❤️

The staff is super friendly and the food is very tasty. Every type of meat on the mixed grill plate was very tender, juicy and delicious. It's worth eating there. But it's best to reserve a table in advance. The store is usually very full, especially on weekends, which is a good sign.

After a short-term reservation was possible, we visited the restaurant in a larger group. We were warmly welcomed and two tables were quickly pushed together. The service was quick, attentive and the food was served to our large group at the same time. All participants found the food to be tasty and good, and the portions were relatively large, as is usual with Greeks. Only the side salad was significantly behind the other dishes. The dressing was very mayo-heavy, the iceberg lettuce was a bit bland and unfortunately there was no coleslaw. The invoice presented at the end was more than adequate for the service provided.

What can I say, we went out to eat with our 3 year old son today to try it out That works with him, unfamiliar surroundings and full shop. We were greeted at the door by the boss and led directly to the table by a lady who immediately placed a coloring book and pencils in front of our little one. Simply a dream. Drinks arrived quickly, red wine was very tasty, ouzo before the meal was just perfect. The starter arrived after a short time, the creams and the tzatziki were very tasty and the bread was crispy. Ordered main courses. After less than 30 minutes and the starter was finished, the main course arrived. Very tender, well-seasoned meat, crispy fries and crispy salad. Nothing mushy, everything fresh, hot and crispy, just as it should be. Unfortunately I have to admit that due to the portion size we were no longer able to try the dessert. The child was allowed to choose a lollipop accompanied by the really great service, they were always well looked after. Just a perfect evening! Many many thanks to the entire team. We'll be back!

My favorite Greek restaurant in Oberhausen for what feels like 100 years. Always delicious, always fresh, always familiar. Sakis and Maria are more than just innkeepers, they are like family to us.

A visit to a restaurant is not always just a meal. It is also the service of the employees, the ambience, simply the feel-good factors that make an evening a wonderful event. Wherever people work, mistakes happen. The only question is, how do you deal with these errors? That's what happened to us yesterday when a cellar spilled a drink on me, a mistake that can happen in the rush. It felt like the entire staff came to our table one by one and apologized. The boss came and took over the entire bill. We had a nice chat. You are a great team and have a great culture of error. A “thumbs up” from us. We'll be happy to come back (then with dry pants).

On November 1st been there for the first time. Read a lot of reviews beforehand, so expectations were high. And what can I say? Everything is true!!! Although packed, there was still room for four additional people. Service friendly, quick and attentive. The innkeepers create a “family feeling”. Food is delicious and portion sizes are reasonable, drinks are replenished without waiting and a quick chat with the innkeeper when you leave. Overall very good and definitely worth further visits. A favorite restaurant of my family for many years. Fine, home-style Greek food. It's always delicious and if I could I would give the service even more stars. Mr. Boss welcomes every guest with a sincere warmth that is second to none. The same goes for how the staff treats children.

My absolute favorite restaurant! The food simply tastes great. Regardless of whether it's a starter, main course or dessert, there is something for everyone and in my opinion the price is perfectly reasonable given this quality. Special requests will be taken into account as far as possible. And if it's just fried onions for the son. Which, according to him, were “The Hammer”. ;-) Everything is freshly prepared, there is no pre-cooking and keeping warm. The carrots in the salad are freshly grated, the meat is cooked to perfection, fried, grilled... The chocolate soufflé for dessert is baked HOME, not something warmed up in the microwave from the subway. It takes a little longer, but it's definitely worth the wait! The mango ice cream and cream rounds the whole thing off perfectly. But not only the food, but also the service is great. Always friendly, quick, attentive and always available for a nice chat whenever there is time. During the week you can risk showing up without a reservation, at least with three people. On weekends it makes more sense to make a reservation. Even though we were kindly pushed in between when we were careless enough not to make a reservation. Thank you again for that. We always enjoy coming back. You are the best! ♥

We came from Ludwigshafen to spend some lovely days in Oberhausen. We discovered the restaurant by chance and I can only recommend everyone to eat there. The food, whether starter or main course, was a poem. Meat so tender, baked potato perfect, I could talk about it for days. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again

We reserved a table for five people a good two weeks in advance. We were greeted in the entrance area and immediately put off because the telephone rang. The owner mumbled something and went into the kitchen. An employee then tried to help us, but unfortunately she had no overview. This impression was confirmed when the owner returned, first looking for our reservation and then for a free table. We asked if it was possible to sit outside, which he had to think about first. He led us to a table at the back of the conservatory that was clearly intended for four people and said it would fit five. Especially since the table next to us was so close that the person would have hit their chair against the neighboring table and would have had to get up every time to make room for the other guest. Apparently it wasn't enough, there was barely room for five plates and glasses. My friend told him that politely but firmly, to which the owner replied that there were only tables for 4 or 6 people. My friend replied that 5 people required a 6 person table. When we asked him whether he had a table for 5, he said no and when we asked him why he even accepted the reservation if he didn't have a table, he became very angry. He wouldn't argue with us and threw us out with the words: "Please leave the restaurant now." I thanked him with "Thank you very much for the expulsion", and when he started to ask what I meant, I just replied that everything had been said. Then came another reply that I no longer understood and I said when leaving the restaurant, he should keep his mouth shut. This is actually not my style, but such behavior and the way he treats his guests is simply disrespectful and cheeky.
