Very friendly service staff, great food, nice atmosphere, and Tellis, the owner, greets every guest personally. We absolutely love coming here.

The delicious food and the warm, welcoming staff mean I have to go there regularly because they're like real friends. Anyone who appreciates traditional cuisine with heartfelt service simply must go there!

I want to make it clear right away — the food was fine. My review is about the staff, though, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Everything started with two waiters who greeted us with horribly unfriendly, twisted expressions, and it only got worse with the management. The waiters were rude to every question we asked, from “where is the restroom?” to worse. It ended with one of the waiters yelling and swearing, even though we had our 10-year-old child with us. They were jumping around and almost wanted to fight because my husband mentioned that they were speaking to us in a disrespectful tone. Can you imagine that scene? 😁 It was a total nightmare. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I sincerely hope all the staff who were there that day get fired and sent to get some therapy for the good of everyone 😌.

If I were to recommend a Greek restaurant, this would be it! The food was world-class, and the lamb fillet and calamari were phenomenally delicious. They were always happy to help with any questions or requests. But the only thing that could surpass the food was the hospitality, which made me feel very welcome and always led to a short, friendly chat! All in all, definitely worth a visit! We didn't enjoy the food at all. It was completely bland, and the staff spent the entire time chatting with regular customers who seemed to be receiving preferential treatment. Please make an effort for all your guests. That would be great! 👍 Apparently, Bramfeld is still a bit of an oasis, but I really think all guests should be treated equally. We, who are familiar with Greek restaurants in many cities, simply cannot understand these positive reviews.

I went there for the first time with a friend. We got a cozy table without a reservation. The staff was nice and friendly. The food was also very tasty. The only downside was that after we finished eating and clearing our plates, we weren't asked again if we wanted anything else to drink. We sat and chatted for well over an hour after our meal. But apart from that, we would definitely go back because of the delicious food.

A very cozy Greek restaurant. However, the tzatziki, gyros, and souvlaki were tasteless. They lacked salt and that buttery garlic flavor. The rice wasn't classic Greek rice either, but rather rice smothered in a red, watery sauce. If this is supposed to be the best Greek restaurant in Hamburg, I recommend a visit to Hanover. There, within a 10 km radius, you'll find at least eight Greek restaurants that are significantly better and much cheaper.

The best Greek restaurant in all of Hamburg. The food is simply excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The service is superb; you always feel like you're visiting friends. We've been going there for so many years and have never been disappointed.

Friendly is something else entirely! The service is surly and very impersonal! We've experienced something completely different in other Greek restaurants. You don't feel at home here. The food is almost unseasoned, especially the zaiziki, which has no garlic, just plain quark. When we asked about it, we were told that if we wanted garlic in it, we had to ask, and then something would be added. Huh? The prices are overpriced and disproportionate. Luckily, there are other, more loving Greeks!

Very rude staff – we were completely ignored. After waiting for 20 minutes, no one came to our table (we were sitting outside), so I finally went inside and ordered two alcoholic beers at the cash register. Instead, I was given non-alcoholic beers, and even after I pointed it out, they insisted they were alcoholic – absolutely incomprehensible. You get the distinct feeling that guests who just want a drink aren't welcome. We were brought bread without asking, apparently as a sign that we should eat there instead. Overall, this was by far my worst restaurant experience in Hamburg. I really don't understand how this restaurant got so many good reviews. --

A really well run restaurant. Good food, as you would expect in a Greek restaurant. Very friendly service. Inside, especially in the winter garden area, there is an attractive atmosphere. A bit rougher outside due to traffic but still absolutely fine.

Yesterday we were at Tellis for the first time. A really very nice shop. It was very crowded as a result very loud. The food was super tasty 😋 The clean tables were also nice. The toilet was absolutely well maintained. We'd love to come back.

Really good Greek. Professional service, great gyros/sovlaki/tzatziki. Fresh salad too. Unfortunately the bread wasn't great beforehand and there was a bit of a wait. But when it comes to good food, I'm happy to accept that. Wheat well chilled - ouzo on the house. I would love to come here again. 100% recommendation!

Unfortunately I didn't like the food. The bread for the starter was very hard. I had bifteki and it consisted almost entirely of fat instead of minced meat, the minced meat wasn't really cooked through either, I don't like that. I said something, but unfortunately no waiter came to us to ask if everything was okay. The friend I was there with had the pan with Gorgonzola sauce, which was far too salty and didn't taste like Gorgonzola.

For 13 years we have been happy to come to the family team, where people love to come for a cozy short holiday with a delicious Greek break from everyday life.

We go there regularly and always feel very comfortable. Food is great, price performance is right.

Rude, unprofessional and aggressive... The staff makes this experience a truly bad one! The food is absolutely mediocre and represents Greece on a level that definitely doesn't motivate you to go on holiday there. In addition to the "waiters" who were happy to discuss things (the customer is definitely not the king here!), I found the last moments in this anciently furnished establishment to be very disturbing. If you don't look a guest in the eye during the dialogue and four Greeks end up standing in front of you babbling confused, aggressive stuff, I have my doubts about ever wanting to come here again! Why?!?! Conclusion bottom line: Boring "Greek" standard goods (albeit in a bland and dry way), gastronomically questionable staff and a final feeling of fear and disgust!

Top food with consistent quality for decades! Even the “small dishes” at the back of the menu will fill you up. Very tasty fried squid. The fries are always on point.

We were here for the first time today and are absolutely thrilled. The appetizer platter was really good, very plentiful, the grill platter was of super good quality and tasted very tasty. The service is friendly, funny and great and we really liked the atmosphere. We will come again.

Something got away. Had a platter for 2 people with 4 types of meat, 3 of which we had. One was missing. And according to the menu there was supposed to be a salad which we didn't have either. There were probably regular guests next to us who were being served, but they wouldn't even turn around and ask us. The giros are cut far too finely to eat and therefore far too dry.

That was terrible... all finished bags.... I had giros baked in a cream sauce with cheese... The meat was like rubber... The rolls beforehand were so hard, not edible... you wait 20 minutes for your beer 🙈 and the service was underground... friendly, yes... I can't recommend it...

Quaint Greek restaurant with a newly designed outdoor area. We always enjoyed the food. The new operator and his young employees are always friendly and nice. However, you should avoid the older men in service, who can be very unfriendly and disrespectful.

I enjoy eating Greek cuisine, there is no better restaurant far and wide!

We were in this restaurant for the first time. The service was nice and friendly, the starters were ok. However, the main course, lamb souflaki, was inedible. The taste was quite good, but it was so tough that the older generation could only eat it cut into tiny pieces, and the rest of us had to chew it quite well. Cheeky and unreasonable for the price. We should have said something straight away. Shame about the animal and the money.

A beautiful, well-kept restaurant in the heart of Bramfeld, where we have enjoyed eating regularly for many years. The pleasant ambience, the delicious food and the friendly service make your time there a “little experience”. An ouzo as a greeting and one as a farewell are also a tradition at “Tellis”. Smaller “special requests” such as fewer fries and a spoonful of rice as a side dish are always taken into account. Portions for small appetites can also be found on the extensive menu. The former owner and current restaurant namesake Telli is always on site and supports the crew with help and advice. Alex, as the next operator, is, like his employees, always in a good mood and always up for a little fun. Where the food tastes good and you feel good, you'll be happy to go there again! Typical Greek restaurant. Had gyros with souvlaki, and where there was a nice Greek salad. Value for money was right and it tasted good. During the week the opening times at 5 p.m. are a bit difficult if you don't want to eat anything heavy in the evening.

Small but fine Greek restaurant with delicious food and good service. Since it is always quite crowded here, especially on weekends, you should not go here without making a reservation. There is also a cozy bar counter here. Small flaw: A cloakroom is located right next to the waiter's corridor to the kitchen. This is not ideal if you want to undress there. The portion size is decent, and the meat is grilled to perfection. Insider tip: The white wine grape variety “Moschofilero”

The food is great, the staff is extremely friendly, the atmosphere is okay and the prices are okay. The fact that it is almost always full here in the evenings speaks for itself.
