Sehr tolles Familien lokale. Das Essen war sehr gut . Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend...es war eine Freunde das lokale zu besuchen

Zunächst möchte ich sagen das ich nur sehe, sehr selten eine Bewertung abgebe. Ich bin geschäftlich viel in DE, Österreich und Schweiz unterwegs und gehe wenn möglich griechisch essen. Ich muss wirklich sagen das mir das Essen hier am besten geschmeckt hat. ( ist natürlich Geschmackssache). Das Preis - Leistung Verhältnis ist super. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und ich habe mich total wohl gefühlt. Der Gastraum ist weniger grieschich sondern mehr uralte, rustikale Gaststätte und das mag ich persönlich sehr. Sollte ich mal wieder in Regensburg sein werde ich sicher dort wieder Essen gehen.

Wir waren am 28. März zum Geburtstag meiner Schwiegermutter bei Stefanos Taverne in Regensburg – und es war wirklich ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Schon beim Ankommen merkt man sofort die herzliche, freundliche Art des Gastgebers, der sich wirklich Mühe gibt, jedem Gast jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Sonderwünsche sind hier absolut kein Problem und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und entspannt – genau so, wie man es sich in einer guten griechischen Taverne wünscht. Auch das Essen war durchweg hervorragend. Mein Mann hatte Gyros-Kalamari ganz klassisch, wie auf der Karte beschrieben, mit Tomatenreis und Beilagensalat – alles sehr lecker und frisch. Unsere Tochter bestellte das Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes. Das Schnitzel war wirklich perfekt: goldbraun, knusprig gebraten und eine tolle Portion – richtig, richtig lecker. Meine Schwiegermutter hatte Kalamari mit Beilagensalat und konnte bei der Bestellung ganz unkompliziert den Tomatenreis gegen Kartoffelchips tauschen, was problemlos möglich war. Ich selbst habe Sardinen und Kalamari bestellt – die Sardinen leicht in Mehl gewälzt und knusprig ausgebraten, die Kalamari paniert, dazu Tzatziki. Statt Tomatenreis habe ich mir einfach eine Pita gewünscht, was ebenfalls ohne Probleme möglich war. Dazu gab es noch einen frischen Beilagensalat. Zu trinken hatten wir 0,5 l Weißwein, zwei Fassschorlen und eine Sprite. Als schöne Geste gab es außerdem noch einen Uzo aufs Haus, was die typische griechische Gastfreundschaft hier wunderbar widerspiegelt. Wir hatten für 12:30 Uhr reserviert und konnten ganz entspannt sitzen bleiben – es gab keinerlei Zeitdruck oder das Gefühl, schnell wieder gehen zu müssen. Das fanden wir besonders angenehm. Auch die Parkmöglichkeiten sind unkompliziert: Wir haben direkt gegenüber an der Straße mit Parkschein problemlos einen Parkplatz gefunden. Fazit: Ein wunderschöner Besuch mit sehr gutem Essen, herzlicher Gastfreundschaft und entspannter Atmosphäre. Wir hatten einen tollen Geburtstag und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend und der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich :-) Wir werden sicherlich bald wieder kommen!

War in Ordnung, aber nochmal griechisch essen würde ich hier nicht gehen. Das Lokal ist groß, es gibt genug Plätze und sieht jetzt nicht nach typisch griechischer Gaststätte aus. Mit den Parkplätzen ist es etwas schwierig am Abend. Unser bestellter Gyros war etwas zu trocken, die Vorspeisen fast alle frittiert, die Preise zu hoch. Positiv sind die durchweg freundlichen Bedienungen und ein sauberes Lokal. Aber leider kein Geschmackserlebnis.

Preis-Leistung sehr gut, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, sehr gute Qualität, tolles Ambiente…. Gyros mit gegrillten Kalamaris - spitze! Komme sehr gerne wieder!! ….schon allein wegen der - nicht 0815 Musik - und ihrem guten Ouzo aufs Haus….;-)

Tolles Essen und super Service. Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier bei Stefanos - alles bestens, auch bei der Abrechnung sehr flexibel!

Delicious food as always 🤗 The staff were very friendly, quick, and attentive, also as always! We arrived at 5 pm (within minutes the restaurant was almost completely full). We had planned to come at 6 or 7 pm, but everything was already reserved... The waiters could have used roller skates, but despite the stress, they were very organized. No guest had to wait long, and the food and drinks were served very quickly 🤗 We will definitely be back!!!

Tired and hungry from the trip, Taverna Stefanos was a natural choice. The good reviews added to the appeal. We weren't disappointed. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were given a nice table. The service was friendly and quick. The food was very good, and the portions were generous. Back home, this restaurant, which is very popular with locals, would be our regular.

Neither the dinner plates nor the rice and fried potato plates were preheated. Therefore, one star deducted. If the plates had been preheated, it would have been a dream. I loooove walking into a restaurant and receiving a super friendly welcome. The staff is open and attentive. And the food: simply amazing! The gyro is sliced ​​very finely. We'll be happy to come back, even though we're not from Regensburg.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a great taste experience. The gyro was very fatty and the meat skewer was very tough. The beans were completely overcooked. For me, this is the worst Greek restaurant I've ever been to...and I eat Greek food almost every week!

A good Greek restaurant in the city of Regensburg. We received a friendly welcome and were served well. The price-performance ratio was good. A definite recommendation.

Last night, we stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for dinner. Locals recommended it to us. We had a wonderful evening here. The staff is efficient, everything is clean, the food is top-notch, and we had an exceptionally good ouzo. It wasn't frozen, but rather perfectly tempered, yet still unusually mild. The desserts were also excellent. If we're ever in Regensburg again, we'll be back! Keep up the good work!

We were there today, March 16th. 25 around 5 p.m. for two, first time without a reservation. very friendly and courteous service!! Food was fresh and tasted exactly as it should. We will definitely recommend it to others and come back more often ourselves.

Tough calamari, dry gyros, nothing fresh, just a small side salad that matches the ambience of the restaurant. Also very expensive. Next time it's better to go to the kebab shop because they have fresher things.

Very good food and always friendly staff, even if you overstay a few minutes after opening time. I've been there a few times when they were still in the previous building and the place has remained true to itself at heart. If you are offered a schnapps on the house and are not a fan of ouzo, you should try the house liqueur, very sweet and fruity.

We've often been to this actually very tasty Greek restaurant, but this time (November 21st) all of our side salads were extremely salty. It's still edible, we don't want to have any food thrown away, but it's no longer good. And unfortunately this time I was very disappointed with the calamari from the grill, quite hard to bite into, almost chewy, that shouldn't be the case in a restaurant. And a friend also regretted having had the fish platter because everything was very dry. We hope we've had a bad day and that this doesn't become a permanent situation due to some personnel change...

I went to Taverna Stefanos for the first time today. I have to say, the best Greek far and wide. The food was delicious and the entire staff was extremely friendly, courteous and quick. I felt very comfortable here and would love to come back.

The service was top. Calemaris weren't baked through, that was because there was too much going on on a Saturday. But it's my food and I have to pay for it.

Unfortunately not a particularly positive experience. I ordered a Greek salad and grape leaves stuffed with rice. The salad consisted mainly of lettuce leaves with just a few tomatoes, cucumbers and just three olives. There was hardly any dressing and to my surprise I had to order the bread separately, which brought the price of the salad with bread to over 20 euros - far too expensive for this quality. The stuffed grape leaves were also disappointing. The rice in it was completely overcooked and mushy and overall lacked flavor. I couldn't eat the dish and therefore can't recommend it.

For me it is one of the best Greek restaurants in Regensburg

I would have loved to have had more vegetarian dishes but the chicken was also extremely good! I asked for a blanket since it was quite cold around 9 p.m. and the waiter actually offered me his jacket. That was very sweet! Thanks again!

Very happy with my choice today, Delicious food and friendly staff. I can particularly recommend lamb here, and the homemade galaktoboureko as dessert. Portions very good, prices a little higher but justified by the taste. Also cozy atmosphere and well lit.

We would love to come back and can recommend it to anyone looking for a good Greek restaurant. The prices are a bit higher but they are okay for the quality.

Unfortunately the waiters were too stupid. We got our starter before the drinks. The food went out in absolute chaos. The food was super tasty.

In our experience, gyros and calamari have unfortunately deteriorated in taste over the last two visits. But we also communicated with you directly! Hospitality continues to be top.

Were in the beer garden. Food was delicious. I would have liked a little more calamari but it was plenty. 2 people 1 drink each €52. The beer garden is definitely great in summer and seat cushions were offered. Staff was super nice.

The food was all good so far, but the taste could still improve a bit. Price a little high but now almost normal for every Greek unfortunately. Cola wheat just under 5€...
