The service is truly abysmal. We waited over two hours for our food and finally gave up in frustration. This attitude towards the guests is simply unbelievable. Unfortunately, it's absolutely not worth recommending, which is a real shame.

If you want good Greek food, this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly, the portions are generous (I'm a big eater and had trouble finishing everything). The value for money is great, and the food arrives quickly. Keep up the good work.

A lovely, not-too-stylish Greek restaurant. The service was very fast. The food, unfortunately, was also slow. I would have preferred to have had more time to eat my warm starter first. The main course arrived shortly after the starter, so everything wasn't quite piping hot. But everything was really delicious. I would eat here again. Maybe just choose the starter first and the main course later.

Stopped in by chance, and the food was excellent! The zucchini starter and souvlaki were absolutely delicious! And you could even watch football while you were there. Very friendly service, and at the end, we even toasted "to my good friends."

We've been coming here for decades (we still remember the first restaurant across the street). The food is still fabulous, the beetroot salad excellent. An extensive menu, always humorous service. The Greek institution on the Schanze.

Ein absolut enttäuschendes Erlebnis. Ein Freund von mir wollte sich gemütlich das Dortmund-Spiel anschauen und war, wie es bei Fußballfans eben vorkommt, kurz ins Spiel vertieft – ohne sofort etwas zu bestellen. Kaum saß er, wurde er auf ziemlich unfreundliche Art darauf hingewiesen, dass er bitte aufstehen und den Laden verlassen solle, wenn er nicht direkt etwas konsumiert. Sogar das bloße Hineinschauen vom Bürgersteig wurde ihm untersagt – als wäre das ein Hochsicherheitstrakt und kein öffentliches Lokal. Nach einer lauten und unangenehmen Diskussion – die leider auch andere Gäste mitbekommen haben dürften – bestellte er schließlich Wasser und Bier, was ohnehin geplant war. Der Ton und das Verhalten des Personals (möglicherweise der Chef selbst) waren völlig unangemessen. Unsere größere Gruppe hatte eigentlich vor, den Abend dort zu verbringen. Nach dieser Szene haben wir uns jedoch entschlossen, den Ort zu verlassen und woanders einzukehren. Schade, denn es hätte ein schöner gemeinsamer Abend werden können – auch für den Umsatz des Ladens. So ein Umgang mit potenziellen Gästen ist inakzeptabel. Für uns war es definitiv der letzte Besuch.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was fresh and very tasty. The saganaki was very tasty. The menu was relatively small, but definitely fresh. Changing the menu wasn't a problem either. The atmosphere was also fine, except that the tables at the banquette could have been a bit further apart. It was quite tight between the tables to walk through.

We had just ordered drinks when the owner said people wouldn't have anything today because another drunk group came in and he smelled the money. We then said to him that we had ordered shortly before, but he said it still wouldn't work. Dealing with customers like that just doesn't work and I've never experienced it like that before

An absolute institution where you can always rely on good quality food (sea bream or lamb chops on the 1), you always feel at home and every way home is filled with a smile.

O Feuer is one of my favorite restaurants. It's always fun to come here. Great food, great staff and you feel at home. Costa is the soul of the restaurant. Even if it's full, you try to do justice to everyone.

Excellent, unique, the best Greek in Hamburg! I've been going there for over 10 years, often twice a week. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly and efficient. Vangelis, the chef, colossal!

We hadn't made a reservation but we still got a table even though it was very busy. The service staff were very friendly even though it was really very full. There was nothing wrong with the food, the price-performance ratio was right. Here, the guest's satisfaction is important. I can only recommend this location.

Drink and service were good. Everything else was subpar - we had gyros gratinated with Metaxa sauce. The meat was tough and gristly, The sauce was too weak for my taste and could have tasted more like Metaxa. The ambience was far too loud for a Thursday evening, we also moved because the table next door was blaring the whole store, but there was no reaction from the owner either. Not recommended for a date or anything similar.

The furnishings and ambience are average at first glance. That's why we first thought about whether we should go in at all. But appearances are deceiving... The staff is extremely friendly, motivated and hard-working and makes you feel welcome. The food was also absolutely great. Nothing out of the ordinary, no big frills, just basic solid and totally delicious. All in all, a successful evening and we would love to come back.

This 'Greek' tavern is obviously aimed only at a German audience. No Greek would find this food authentic in Greece. Supposedly alternative and St. Pauli-friendly, but unfortunately with no real connection to Greek food culture.

Best Greek in the area. The chefs know their craft, and their love for the spices that are sprinkled on the meat to round it off is amazing. We particularly recommend the grill mix plate and the lamb plate (the lamb is just good!). The starter salad here is also not standard but really something delicious. The service is very friendly and always tries to accommodate you even if you forget to make a reservation. Football games are particularly atmospheric because of the live broadcast, but can sometimes be very loud and crowded.

Professional, fast, familiar and fabulous food. We had a mega gyros and the lamb souvlaki were to die for. The service is charming but not intrusive. The Greek mentality can be felt everywhere. We felt super comfortable and will come back.

Unfortunately, after the drastic price increases, I can't afford lunch, let alone the evening menu. The Olympic flame has been an institution on the ski jump for many decades. The motto from the start was good, inexpensive food, even for those on a budget. More important than ever in the times we live in today. So this restaurant, which has already overcome many crises, is also an example of how life always goes on, and yet they still stick to their motto. The staff are absolutely attentive, friendly and accommodating, play a big part The success of these restaurants, most of whom have been there from the beginning, also speaks for this restaurant. We have always felt comfortable with you and will continue to do so in the future.

There were two of us on Saturday evening without a reservation and we quickly got a table. We got an ouzo on the house for waiting and at the end too. The food and service was great despite the crowds in the restaurant.

We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The food came relatively quickly. We also only ordered two starters. We found it very good that the food wasn't straight away came after that. We were able to enjoy the starters and finish them well before our food arrived shortly afterwards. It was very filling and very tasty. The waiter was very attentive without being intrusive.

It is a simple, nice, rustic tavern where the service is very courteous and friendly. The food is very good, the house wine is also highly recommended. I drank San Miguel on tap there for the first time and it was really, really good! TVs playing sports in the background.

Calamaretti with vegetables was very good. Small appetizer plate too. Gyros cut a little thick and still very fatty. But nice service and reasonable prices. There are also more frequent sports broadcasts.

Outstanding, extremely child-friendly service, incredibly delicious food and a very pleasant atmosphere in the store. We had beetroot and baked sheep's cheese first. For the main course, lamb kebabs with rice and salad first. Absolutely awesome, we were definitely not there for the last time. By the way, it's difficult to come by spontaneously - the store is always busy and for good reason!

I've been searching for a good moussaka in Hamburg for a long time, and I finally found it at this restaurant. The moussaka was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food overall was truly delicious. Highly recommend!

That was really disappointing. Had two lamb souvlaki and gyros, the food was extremely lame and very bland. When I asked if I could have some more oregano, I was told it was already in the food. In the end I had lamb (ordered medium well and received raw) and gristly gyros, which I have eaten better in a Greek "snack bar". The tzatziki also had no bang. So you wouldn't be able to recognize any of the food because it's just a bland monotony. Fries were seasoned ok. There was also an ouzo with the bill. Staff is normally friendly. Toilet facilities are very clean. I like to go to Greek restaurants often, so my rating may be a little stricter. And no matter what you do, order or request for the invoice, everything happens. 2nd attempt 06/24 Lamb souvlaki with gyros, fries and tzatziki. All the food was better than on the first visit, there was a lot going on that day, today it's raining and it's rather empty. Staff is not that attentive but friendly. What's really a shame is that you won't find pepperoni in a salad; coleslaw, which is actually known in Greece, is limited to a teaspoon. Everything is kind of business as usual. In any case, only the stove has fire here.

Top shop! Clear menu (which is meant as a positive point) with typical Greek specialties without any frills. Cozy atmosphere and always well attended. Reservation can therefore be an advantage. Very friendly service, delicious food and good beer. It can be that simple sometimes. Jamas!

Zero ambience, 5 grumpy-looking employees who just keep walking back and forth in the almost empty restaurant - the only nice and positive thing was the young lady from the service. The food had nothing to do with traditional Greek cuisine and that's how it tasted. A huge disappointment and not recommended.

Seldom eaten as badly as here. We ended up there spontaneously for lunch, I had grilled squid with a side salad for 13.50 euros. First there was a vegetable soup. The squid smelled very fishy that I was briefly worried about eating them. I still ate them with lots of lemon because I was hungry. My companion had gyros with Metaxa sauces. We were both very disappointed with the poor taste and lack of quality. Reminded us a lot of canteen food, with the theme of Greek week. Maybe less selection would make sense and instead high quality products would make sense. I rarely give so few points, but unfortunately I can't help it here. The service was attentive and friendly.
