Very tasty and fresh Greek cuisine, with tzatziki and tarama (fish rye cream) made by the chef at very good prices. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and cozy and the staff is very attentive and friendly. I would like to strongly recommend the restaurant.

The service was very friendly and the portions were sufficient. Unfortunately, there is a lot of room for improvement here. “Fried” potatoes are served without anything fried instead of fried with bacon and onions. However, this is actually what it says on the menu, but I wouldn't call it fried potatoes. According to my husband, the bifteki was said to have had no filling, contrary to the description on the menu, or had so little filling that it was completely lost, otherwise his grill plate was okay. I chose the fish plate. The shrimp were fried whole, so you still have to remove the head, legs, tail and intestines when eating them. I also had to debone parts of my fish, which fortunately was quite easy. Since everything seemed to be either deep fried or greasy, it ended up being quite a mess. The chef should do this fiddling for the guests or it should be noted on the menu. The calamari was good and the second fish fillet was boneless. The salad at the beginning was absolutely fine, the "mixed" side salad for the main course was nothing more than a few strips of lettuce with a lemon wedge. All in all, it was still tasty.

We had a very good meal here again. Service is great.

Sehr leckere saftig kross angebratene 3 kleine Lammkoteletts; mit Gemüsereis, großem Klacks Tzatziki und knackig frischem Salatbouquet. Gutes Teller Aussehen. Schnelle freundliche Bedienung. Räumlichkeiten freundlich, sauber, Licht und dennoch gemütlich. Drinnen - schöne einzelne Sitzecken als Nischen zum gemeinschaftlichen Sitzen (oder auch alleine) abgeteilt. Draußen - Platz zum Sehen und Gesehen werden. Gute Karte. Nach meiner Meinung liegt hier ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vor.

The restaurant is comfortably furnished. When it comes to eating, I have to point out that there is a plate that has a cross-section of Greek cuisine on it. The taste is also very good. I recently visited the Taverna Olympia in Königswinter and was completely impressed. The restaurant offers authentic Greek cuisine that is truly a delight every time. Particularly noteworthy is the warm and friendly hospitality of the team - you immediately feel welcome. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with family or friends. The selection of dishes is varied and every one I tried was freshly and deliciously prepared. My favorites were the tzatziki and the gyros – both simply outstanding! The portions are generous and the price is absolutely fair for the quality on offer. The wine selection also leaves nothing to be desired. I will definitely be back and can only recommend Taverna Olympia! 5 stars!

Not the best Greek in general, but the best here in the area. Gyro quality varies greatly. But you feel very welcome.

A real insider tip in Königswinter! Here you can find the best Greek specialties, including the tastiest gyros with fries and salad in the whole city and surrounding area. Definitely try it! There is also a super cozy atmosphere in the restaurant and a team that is always in a good mood and friendly. The service leaves nothing to be desired. Bon appetite!

The food in the store was halfway okay, although the portions were very manageable for a Greek restaurant. However, an absolute no-go was that you can only pay in cash in the shed, which nothing and no one pointed out. Well, they'll know why.

The salad wasn't fresh and there was only cheap iceberg lettuce with some cherry tomatoes. My wife had fried prawns and they were far dry and also not freshly prepared. Every Chinese snack bar can do that better. The beer and cola were the only highlight in this place. It's really a shame. The concept of preparing food should be revised again. Unfortunately I can only give 1 star. The restaurant deserved more but the food was just too bad. Furthermore, payment can only be made with cash. The information is missing when ordering. That's a no go. The guest cannot have to run to the ATM to get cash. Dear owner of this restaurant. Please improve your concept with food and quality. It will be worth it in the long run.

Been there several times. Unfortunately, the quality and quantity have decreased significantly. The waiter didn't listen attentively, I had to turn 180 degrees... neither the drink was ordered that way nor the salad. One large beer and salad without carrots. Both were wrong. When I paid, the waiter pocketed everything himself without me saying anything. The portions were also better.

As a hiking group of 12, we had a table reserved outside two hours before arrival. When we arrived we were already expected and greeted very friendly. As soon as we ordered, the drinks arrived. We didn't have to wait long for the various dishes either. There was nothing to complain about. Everything was OK in terms of price too.

We had a platter for two, which was delivered very quickly and contained all the meaty delicacies of Greek cuisine. There was also rice or fried potatoes and a tzatziki dip, which alone would make me visit the store again. So now the complaining at a high level. We would have also taken a platter like this for two with fish on it. Which we would never have taken. Schnitzel. That seems cheap. The store doesn't need that.

Sitting outside the restaurant in pleasant temperatures and being served a rich and delicious meal by a very friendly gentleman. We recommend!

If you order plaice fillet here and are happy that you only have to pay €20 for 3 micro pieces of fish in greasy breadcrumbs and limp frozen potato pieces, you are in the best hands here. Not me!

Essen war super lecker, schönes Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal! Absolute Empfehlung!

Das Essen hat nicht mal Imbissqualität. Es wird vorallem fritiert. Pommes dünne billo TK. Fisch ist aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Gyros war trocken und versalzen. Der Kinderteller hatte eine Portion Zwiebeln oben drauf. Die überbackenen Auberginen waren komplett labrig und ungewürzt. Das Tzatziki war frisch und gut. (Wahrscheinlich woanderes eingekauft.) Brot: altes türkisches Fladenbrot getoastest. Wein, Glas 6-8€, aus 2l Schraubverschlussflaschen. Personal ist nett, Ambiente aus den 80gern.

Essen war ok, nichts besonderes. Personal sehr freundlich.

Preis-Leistung ok. Eins meiner vier Lammkoteletts war noch komplett roh von innen. Man kann nur bar bezahlen. Und das innere dieses Ladens war altbacken und sah heruntergekommen aus. An den kleinen Tischen und Sitzecken war auch nicht viel Platz. Ich fand's alles sehr ungemütlich

Keine Empfehlung. Meine Frau hatte ein typisch griechisches Menü mit Gyros, Souvlaki und Bifteki. Das war soweit in Ordnung. Ich habe mich für den Fischteller entschieden. Ein Fehler ! 4 Sorten Fisch mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Erwartet hatte ich 4 kleinere Stücke frischen Fisch, knusprige Bratkartoffeln, lecker Salat. Bekommen habe ich TK Ware, meiner Meinung alles durch die Friteuse gezogen. 3 Calamari Ringe, 3 Sardinen, 3 Garnelen, die nicht aus der Schale zu pulen waren, weil knallhart fritiert, sowie 2 x Fisch eckig, mit dicker Panade. Der Salat bestand überwiegend aus Eisbergsalat, gepimmt mit ein wenig frischem Gemüse. Sollte Dressing dabei gewesen sein, dann ohne Geschmack. Auf Vorhalt gab die Servicekraft an, es wäre aus der Pfanne gekommen. In der Speisekarte steht sogar explizit, frittierte Bratkartoffeln. Hatte ich übersehen, kannte ich vorher auch nicht als Zubereitungsart für BRAT-Kartoffeln. Für mich das Schlechteste, das ich in letzter Zeit serviert bekommen habe.

Wir waren in der Taverna zu zwei. Das Essen...der Salat war einfach nur sauer. Ich habe Gyros gehabt, leider sehr grob geschnitten und qualitativ leider nicht gut. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente war schön.

Das Gyros war leider etwas trocken. Der Service dafür außerordentlich gut und freundlich. Viel Platz Außengastro in Fußgängerzone.

Und hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Gericht für 2 Personen war eine wirklich große Portion!Und die Bewirtung war sehr freundlich! Gerne wieder!

Der griechische Salat war leider nicht wie ich ihn gewohnt bin. Das Dressing war zu spärlich verteilt sodass der untere Teil des Salats geschmacklos war. Auch wirkte das ganze etwas spärlich zubereitet.

Spontanes Essen in Königswinter! Essen war lecker, aber es wird extrem unterschieden zwischen dem „normalen“ essen und dem Essen von der Tageskarte. Kosten tut es fast gleich, die Menge vom Tages Gericht, viel weniger. Dann ging karten Zahlung nicht, das sollte man den Gästen vorher sagen. Ich holte Geld am Automaten, mir wurde versichert, dass es kostenfrei ist! Heute sehe ich dass ich 5,99€ Gebühr gezahlt hab. Also ich ärgere mich, das Essen an sich war oke, nicht übermäßig gut 🤷‍♀️

Ajuinenringen geserveerd in plaats van calamaris Wij wilden onze dag afsluiten in Königswinter met een leuk Grieks gerecht. Het restaurant was proper. Wij bestelden visschotels met 4 soorten vis. De salade schotel was ok. Er werd ingegaan op de vraag of wij in plaats van gebakken aardappelen, frietjes konden krijgen en dit was geen probeem. Maar toen wij onze visschotel kregen, bleken de calamaris ajuienringen te zijn. Vol ongeloof bleek dit bij alle schotels zo te zijn. De frieten waren ok maar de bijhorende mayonnaise was ongeveer 2cc, ruim onvoldoende. De bodem van het sausschaaltje was juist gevuld. Extra mayonaise bestond uit kleine zakjes die aangerekend werden. De gebakken vis was zeer waterig en smaakloos. De menukaart is dubieus opgesteld, je hebt prijzen van voor 18.00h en na 18.00h. Je wilt menu 125 bestellen maar dan word je naar bv. menu 80 verwezen, wat hetzelfde is, maar duurder. De dranken werden hoger afgerekend dan de prijs die geafficheerd stond. Deze handelwijze is echt niet oké, dit is oplichterij. Absoluut te mijden.

I had dinner at this restaurant last week with some friends. Service was ok (nothing extraordinary but not bad), food wasn’t good unfortunately. The schnitzel was just a frozen schnitzel from rewe. So was the fish. A bit expensive considering that it wasn’t that good :/

Super leckeres Essen. Wir waren an 2 Tage hintereinander dort essen weil es so gut geschmeckt hat und der Service 1a war. Draußen konnte man klasse sitzen ohne Autoverkehr.

Das Essen ist schmackhaft und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. ES GIBT AUCH EINE Mittagskarte.

Hier op een avond gegeten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Lekkere knapperige en vers afgesneden gyros met frietjes en tzatziki, een fris slaatje daarbij. Prijs 14 €. Leuk interieur en je voelt de griekse vibe. Prima !

Na de Duitse en Italiaanse maaltijden hadden we behoefte aan iets anders en gelukkig diende er zich een Grieks restaurant aan. We bestelden een lekkere dolmadakia vooraf, kregen een salade als tussengerecht en twee hoofdgerechten (vis en vlees). Uiteraard een ouzo toe. Voor vijftig euro goed gegeten, De bediening is heel vriendelijk.
