In any case, I've eaten here many times, even with larger groups, everything is always great, the prices are quite reasonable for the quality you get here.

It's been a long, long time since I've eaten Greek as well as I did here! All the dishes are amazing. Started with the extremely fresh, crunchy starter salad. The meat dishes are extremely juicy, well seasoned, and have a delicious charcoal grill aroma. Large portions. Tsatziki like in Greece, great. In terms of price, everything is very consumer-friendly, price-performance ratio is TOP! Authentic ambience, no kitsch, no clutter. Staff very friendly. We loved it and will definitely come back.

The food tasted amazing and the service was super good. A nice place for conversation while still hearing a cheery murmur around from the other conversations. The people there were extremely nice and they also had lots of vegetarian options. Definitely coming back!

Delicious food with lots of choice (many vegetarian options), especially the eggplant croquettes were delicious. And a good portion. Nice quiet but not too quiet atmosphere and very friendly service. We will definitely come back when we are in Berlin again!

Anyone expecting authentic Greek cuisine here is in the wrong place. Even the house wine and Aperol are not recommended.

Nice location near Charlottenburg Palace, opportunity to sit outside on a small side street, cheap lunch... the gyros could have been a little more seasoned, but the meat was otherwise very good and lean.

Taverna Karagiosis is an absolute gem near Charlottenburg Palace! The atmosphere is simply fantastic – super cozy, with incredibly friendly hosts who make you feel at home straight away. The food is not only delicious but also very affordable. I come here regularly and am amazed every time. The table top in particular is an absolute highlight for anyone who loves good food. The selection of dishes is varied and the quality is consistently excellent. Another plus point is the taverna's artistic touch: the walls are regularly decorated with new paintings by local artists. You can even purchase these works of art if you particularly like something - it's almost like a small gallery where you can enjoy delicious dishes at the same time. Overall, Taverna Karagiosis is a clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food in a unique atmosphere. A must for anyone traveling near Charlottenburg Palace!

Food wasn't good. Not appropriate for the price. The service and ambience were fine.

We ate very well, eggplant stuffed with vegetables, lamb with quince and prunes and pre-smoked eggplant with yogurt. We will be back. Maybe a few dishes from other oriental regions would make the menu even more interesting

We have often been satisfied guests there over the decades and have now visited the restaurant again after a very long time. All the dishes we ordered tasted good and were plentiful. Good price-performance ratio, including the drinks! The service was friendly and quick, but with a little more care and demand it could still sell a drink or two. Unfortunately, sitting on the garden chairs without cushions in front of the restaurant is not particularly comfortable. Overall, the visit surprised us positively and we will definitely be back soon!

Update! Service desert !!!Choosed a seat outside. An employee stood in the door and watched this!!! Then, like the previous visit, nothing happened!!! After 5 minutes my companion said: we're leaving.... Never again

Right on Klausenerplatz in the beautiful Klausenerplatz neighborhood, this restaurant has existed for as long as I have lived here. Very tasty food in a cozy atmosphere. Changing art exhibitions on the walls loosen up the taverna atmosphere. Unfortunately there are only a few seats in front of the restaurant, which are always fully occupied when the weather is nice. The price-performance ratio is consistent. I really enjoy coming here!

Prices were increased everywhere - or portions were reduced. But here everything stayed almost the same. And it still tastes incredibly good!

We were there for the first time today (Friday evening) and absolutely loved it. Even though it was busy, we managed to get a seat outside, the food and drinks came quickly and everything was delicious. We'll definitely come back again!

The food is very good. My favorite is the lamb with quinces, plums and fresh carrots; the sauce is well seasoned! The tzatziki is super creamy. The service was very friendly. I'll be back.

Larger groups can easily wait an hour and a half for their food. The meat is really tasty!! The portions are not large. The toilets leave a lot to be desired!

This restaurant can be defined as a Greek/German/Turkish fusion, instead of pita the typical Turkish bread is served, and sauerkraut as a side dish. The dishes, however, are plentiful and good and with excellent prices. Family service and welcoming environment with Greek music in the background.

Jedno z naszych ulubionych mieksc w Berlinie. Prawdziwa Grecja na talerzu, dobry souvlaki i zupa z soczewicy. Znamy tę restaurację od ponad q5 lat i niezmiernie ją polecamy

Ich fand es recht ungemütlich und das Fleisch war sehr Fettdurchzogen. Das Gyros war nicht durchgegart.

Das Essen war warm und Gyros sollte schon heiß sein. Geschmacklich sehr gut und für den Preis zu empfehlen. Wer in Ruhe essen möchte, ist hier falsch. Wir werden es trotz allem noch mal besuchen. Der Geschmack des Essen hat uns überzeugt. Klare Ortsempehlung.

Klassische griechische Küche sehr lecker!

Familiär. Sehr freundlich. Ich hatte Lammschulter mit Couscous. Ist nichts für jmd der mageres Fleisch mag. Dazu sehr leckeren (selbst gemachten) Tzatziki.

Das Essen war gut. Der Service auch. Die Preise allerdings sehr gut. Wer hier gut und günstig essen gehen möchte, wird zufrieden nach Hause gehen. Wer hier beste griechische Küche und einen 5 Sterne Service erwarten, eher nicht. Wenn man sich die Speisekarte und die Preise anschaut, sollte einem klar sein was man zu erwarten hat. Verstehe manche Kommentare hier nicht. 1*-Bewertungen sind hier unverschämt und absolut fehl am Platz.

Lange auf die Bestellung der Getränke gewartet. Essen war nicht gut. Hähnchenfilet komplett versalzen. Zaziki mit getrockneten Kräutern gemacht. Keine frage zwischendurch ob wir noch was trinken wollen. Wir haben uns nicht wohlgefühlt.

Schöne Taverne in Charlottenburger Kiez . Gern im Sommer vor der Tür und die Seele baumeln lassen bei kaltem Rezina und einer guten Dorade

Sehr nett, Essen lecker, aber etwas weniger gewürzt wäre noch besser, nach dem Essen hatten wir alle Brand. Die Stühle an der Strasse wären mit einem Kissen nicht ganz so hart aber alles in allem ein ordentlicher Grieche

Essen gut, die Tintenfischtuben zart, Bifteki gut und "zurückhaltend" gewürzt, Preise (inflationsbedingt noch) okay, aber extra aus Prenzlauer Berg dorthin, dafür ist's nichts Besonderes. Aber gut, dass wir die Taverna Karagiosis ausprobiert haben.

Super Essen und der Wirt sehr freundlich

Netter Grieche mit klassischen Gerichten. Man sitzt drinnen und draußen schön und wird freundlich bedient.

Die kleine Mittagskarte überzeugte voll. Das Essen ist gut, ob mittags oder abends. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich. Es herrscht eine nette Atmosphäre in dem kleinen Lokal, und der Ouzo zum Abschluss tut sein Übriges zu einem gelungenen Essen.

Angenehm "urige", originäre Atmosphäre in natürlich gewachsenem alt-68er,Kiez, wo die Menschen einander kennen. -- Gutes Essen, guter Wein und vor allem: ein sehr freundlicher Wirt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Schlichte uns bodenständige Taverna. Die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut.

Etwas karg ist die Einrichtung in der Tat, war aber für uns kein Manko, wir saßen sehr gut an einem der vorderen runden Tische. Ist ein alteingesessenes gemütliches Restaurant, wo wir sehr gerne verweilten mit freundlicher und aufmerksamer Bedienung. Sehr gut die Vorspeisen, besonders die Linsensuppe, aber auch der Houmus und der Feta Fournou. Hauptgericht auch sehr ansprechend: Taskebab, Mousaka oder der Wolfsbarsch (mit 19.50 das teuerste Hauptgericht auf der Karte). Vom Naussa raten wir eher ab, Jever vom Fass ist kaum zu toppen.

Gutes Essen, aber sehr voll gewesen und sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet.

Sehr solider Grieche mit übersichtlicher Karte ohne Überraschungen. Der Service ist freundlich und flott, selbst wenn es voll ist oder eine große Runde bedient werden will klappt alles perfekt - echte Profis! Die Speisen sind gut bis OK, können aber nicht wirklich begeistern. Guter Standard halt. Der große Gastraum ist schon sehr hallig und es kann laut werden. An den Wänden gibt es wechselnde Bilder von Berliner Künstlern in durchaus ansprechender Qualität. Im Sommer sitzt man ganz entspannt vor dem Restaurant, es gibt nur sehr wenig störenden Verkehr und gegenüber ist der grüne Klausener Platz - großartig!

Typisch griechisch! Eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Niemand lässt sich vom Personal stressen und alle sind sehr freundlich und entspannt. Die Kellner nehmen sich Zeit für einen und das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Einrichtung ist wie man es aus Griechenland kennt spartanisch, was aber passt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Preise sind fair. Ein Restaurant indem man die Gesichter aus dem Kiez immer wieder trifft.

Leider bekommt man unter dem Schild "Griechische Küche" nur sehr selten etwas anderes als Berge von Grillfleisch mit Pommes inmitten von kitschigen Säulen und Aphroditen. Und hier plötzlich in einem ebenso unprätentis wie gemütlich eingerichteten Lokal der wahre Geschmack von Griechenland. Wir waren rundum begeistert!!!
