Great restaurant, very nice people working there, excellent service, and a truly extensive food selection. If you plan on dining in the evening, however, you should reserve a table in advance. I've been there many times and have always left happy.

The food was good. Service seemed to vary quite a bit depending on who or what you were. Unfortunately, there are no non-smoking outdoor seating areas. The wait for food was about 20 minutes, which was a bit too long for us for two salads.

Two days ago, four of us went there for dinner. We had a reservation, but were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. We sat outside, parallel to the water. It's very nice here; you can sit comfortably under an awning, close to the water, and relatively quiet. The service is great! We were served ouzo (with a jug for refills) and a Greek dessert is also on the house. The menu is very varied. There are few vegetarian main courses, but there are plenty of vegetarian starters, which you can easily combine with additional potatoes or fries to create a large main course portion (I was very full). The rest of my family eats meat and fish and was also very satisfied! Large portions and delicious! The servers were very friendly, and it was a lovely evening! The prices for the main courses are quite reasonable, but the portion size is absolutely fine! And there's also something for those with a smaller appetite or budget. - Card payments are not possible (at the moment), so please be aware of this. - We were very satisfied and can only recommend the Asteria!

A Greek restaurant with heart and hospitality! Aside from the delicious food, you always feel like a welcome and, above all, appreciated guest. I've become a regular and am always greeted like a member of the family. So far, I can only report that the food has been excellent. Everything is prepared very fresh and delicious. Addendum: Even after 7 years, Asteria is my favorite Greek restaurant!

Unfortunately, the card reader has been broken for more than 10 years now, which is quite a long time even by Berlin standards.

Had dinner here. Very good food. Probably the best dinner we had in Kopenick. Staff is very polite. Also speaks several languages. I will definitely return here again. Highly recommended

The restaurant has a great view of the water. You can sit inside or outside on the large covered terrace. It's the perfect way to end the day. The service is friendly and attentive. The portions are very generous, and the food is delicious. The carafe of ouzo to start your meal and the Greek dessert on the house are a nice touch. I recommend making a reservation. Please note that payment is currently only possible in cash. The restrooms in the basement are only accessible by stairs. We had a lovely evening with delicious food and a view of the Dahme River during a stunning sunset – priceless. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful view of the water, and we enjoyed the food immensely. We had the garlic bread, grilled halloumi, and the mixed grill. Dessert was on the house. We also experienced Greek hospitality with the ouzo. Ya Maß 🥂

The food was quite tasty. The location, right on the Dahme River (Luisenhain), was superb. Unfortunately, payment is only possible in cash, but this is announced well in advance. Alternative payment options would be welcome and should be standard these days.

Restaurants garden has amazing sunset view. Portions were so big, we struggled to finish them.

I was here on August 1, 2025 and had reserved a table. When we arrived, Waiter 1 showed us a table. It was in the middle of the room, and we wanted one of the other tables. We were allowed to choose another one, but not the one in the corner. We were still waiting for a few people. Meanwhile, a family arrived who didn't want the seat assigned by Waiter 2 and wanted the table in the corner. Absolutely no problem for the waiter. When our drinks were served by Waiter 1, he constantly looked around the room, never making eye contact with any of the guests. Waiter 3 asked what we wanted. My answer: I'm vegan and would like a nice salad. Those who had meat received a side salad, and there was bread and plenty of ouzo. When everyone received their main course, I received a small side salad. 😳 Luckily, I had ordered pita bread... When paying, we pointed out again that it was a bit unfortunate to only receive a side salad as a main course. Then waiter 3 came to the table like a fury, brought out a menu, and said I had specifically asked for a small salad. He was furious, blamed me, and stomped off. That has absolutely nothing to do with hospitality and service. I'm aware that veganism is a foreign concept to many people. However, many people do manage to show interest and make an effort for their customers. Unfortunately, it's difficult in this restaurant.

We were there yesterday with a reservation. The fact that the food took a long time due to the broken receipt printer (information only available upon request) is only partly the restaurant's fault. But the wait would probably have been more pleasant with a second ouzo ;-). At least they offered a free dessert. The food was delicious.

We were lucky enough to snag a table at short notice. The whole family is still raving about the absolutely delicious food. Sitting on the terrace in the sunshine was more than pleasant. A very pleasant evening, not least because of the excellent service.

We went there for work, and it was absolutely delicious!! You can sit outside almost directly by the water, the service was great, and the food was, for me, the best I've ever had at a Greek restaurant. The garlic bread, in particular, was incredibly delicious. I had a bit of a hard time with the subsequent (also delicious) grilled dish. The only thing I found a bit too loud was the music, but otherwise, it was truly top-notch! Edit 05/08: I ate here again yesterday with a small group, and it was once again incredibly delicious. I can still recommend the restaurant without hesitation =]

Very beautifully located with a terrace overlooking the water. The food is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, it's very popular, so it's very busy and noisy. The waiters are very attentive and very friendly. However, due to the number of tables, they were sometimes a bit overwhelmed. In any case, we had to wait a while to order a drink or dessert. One negative I find is that you only have to pay in cash, regardless of the total amount on the bill. I think card payments are appropriate.

A fantastic Greek restaurant on the waterfront promenade in Alt-Köpenick. The food is incredibly good and delicious. You get the complete Greek experience, almost like being on vacation. Lovely appetizers, the meat perfectly prepared, and a sweet dessert and a Greek mocha for dessert. Absolutely recommended!

El peor servicio de la historia. Hemos prevenido 45 minutos para empezar y 1. 5 horas cuatro plato principal. Tienes que preguntar todo 3 veces al menos, pan, agua helada, etc. El pescado tampoco se cocinaba tan bien. No recomiendo

The location is fantastic, with a great view of the Spree River. The restrooms aren't wheelchair accessible, but they're clean. The service was friendly. The wait for the bill can take a little longer when the place is busy, but that's perfectly fine. We only had salad, which was good. Unfortunately, the eggs weren't that fresh; they were very blue. Unfortunately, you can't just deduct half a point. Otherwise, everything was great.

This is, without exaggeration, one of the most wonderful restaurants we've ever been to – Restaurant Asteria Köpenick. And we already know: We'll be back! We came here completely by chance on July 7, 2025 – we were literally just walking by. We had a special occasion for a celebratory dinner, and as a family, we felt that a restaurant on the riverbank, away from the busy streets, was the perfect place. From the very first moment, at first glance, we loved everything. The staff is attentive, friendly, polite, and always with a smile – any concerns are resolved quickly and professionally. The menu offers an excellent selection for vegetarians, but there are also great dishes for meat lovers. There really is something for every taste! Everything was incredibly delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and our food was served promptly. We had a really lovely time here.

After attending Greece I’ve tried multiple Greek restaurants in Berlin and, no doubt, that’s the best of them! The portions are so generous. Service impeccable. Aubergines were perfect, just like your grandma’s homemade meal. I wanted to try Moussaka, they do not do it, but waiter advised me something similar and it was a blast! So creamy, rich, delicious. Friend ordered calamari and they were very tender and savoury. They complimented us with ouzo and silky yogurt with jam.

Excellent Greek restaurant, very tasty, large plates of food. Of the minuses, I can point out the slightly incompetent staff, who after the rain could not wipe the chairs on the street for seating and at our requests, pretended that it was impossible, as if we were asking to make a Spartan horse. All they did was wipe them with napkins and sit down. I would have given it a 5 if the staff thought more about the customers.

A "classic" Greek restaurant with a great location/veranda overlooking the Spree River. My chosen meal (grilled feta cheese appetizer, gyro plate, souvlaki, and meatballs) was delicious and served after a short wait. The true highlight of this restaurant is the always friendly service, who sang a multi-part Happy Birthday three times during the evening on certain occasions and always made sure to refill the ouzo. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Highly recommended, gyros and lamb could still be improved but otherwise a great experience.

Very good food with fast service and a pleasant atmosphere. Upon entering, you initially think you're entering a backyard, but then you have a view of the water.

I don't understand the good reviews here. The restaurant seems to thrive on its good location. The service seems rushed and, while humorous, doesn't seem to enjoy their work. The gyro was very gristly and definitely undercooked. And when the need arises, it seems no one can help. What a shame.

Very crowded at Pentecost, rather crowded and late service. The food was rather standard: the gyros weren't crispy, and the steak was too expensive for the quality. No main courses for vegetarians (moussaka). The ouzo jug and dessert were nice.

The only good thing about this place is the proximity to the water. I didn't like the food; it was far too greasy. The salad for the main course only included a few grated carrots and white cabbage. We didn't even get plates for the starter. The waiters are irritated and completely stressed. When you bring them fresh drinks, they don't collect their empty glasses. Ouzo isn't offered before or after the meal, let alone on the house. After the meal, we were given dessert on the house, fruit with yogurt. But we had to wait so long for the bill that when the plate was carelessly placed on the table, we no longer had any appetite for dessert. In short, careless service. They forget that you don't go to a restaurant just for the food. We won't tip, and we won't be back.

On a day like this, it's clear that the food wouldn't be on the table in 10 minutes. We had our time, and that didn't bother us. We'd be happy to come back.

A truly beautiful restaurant with a great location and atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. It was definitely worth a visit. We were not only full at the end, but also delighted. If we ever find ourselves in Köpenick again, we would definitely go back to Asteria.

Definitely feels like you’re on a Greek island, they will treat you like that and the water side view supports the experience. One of the few places I found to serve Galaktoboureko, Greek traditional milk pie. The chefs surprise meal is equally delicious. And you get self-service ouzo, please don’t drive if you stop by.

If you want meat, the assessment may be different. As a vegetarian you only have the appetizer side (and the side dishes). The food was mediocre in terms of taste and some of it was carelessly prepared. It's practically priceless. In my opinion, a little overpriced for the quality offered. The service was okay, although the Union game probably caused a rush of guests, but it also seemed overwhelmed in parts. Only the view is worth a visit. Ah, and you should have your own website by 2025. So with a menu.

We regularly have a company outing there, the food is very good, the starter is delicious, the main course is great for everyone. Service was quick and friendly and the view of the water was priceless. If there was something that wasn't good, it was our volume 😉, sorry about that!

The food we had was super tasty, the service was really nice and the ambience right on the Dahme could hardly be better. The only small criticism: you couldn't pay by card. These days, pretty weak. Still highly recommended.
