Super nice and very tasty Greek

A very nice place, the interior delights with the atmosphere, the gentleman and lady who served us were very nice, took care of every detail and often asked if we liked it. We are writing this place down and we will definitely come back here

My first visit and not my last. Excellent food, absolutely great service from the owner and the interior is reminiscent of Greece and its history.

Look at the pictures These are children's portions for adult money Service came to clear the plates and there was no question as to whether drinks were needed We sat there for almost two hours without paying attention Thumbs down! Service was there very quickly at 3:00 p.m. It wasn't busy. The lunch menu was great but the normal menu was also available. The food came very quickly and was excellent. Very good portion, not too greasy. All in all, highly recommended.

Hello, good evening, we are passing through from Braunschweig or here in Berlin on business. Very pleasant, authentic restaurant. Absolutely familiar, tidy and great cuisine, for the service and the kitchen.

It was a special day when I was there and the opportunity to feel comfortable was complete, warm and friendly, homely and the food was prepared with love, which I personally saw in a discreet way, fine, tasty and gourmet. Traditional smack and ouze at the end free.

We made a reservation through their website and it went smoothly. We ordered two chicken dishes and one rump steak dish. They were all super delicious 🤤 what made the experience really nice is how welcoming and friendly the service is. Also they are really generous; portions were good and they offered us free dessert and shots at the end. Would definitely visit again :)

The staff is very friendly and helpful and all orders are processed very fast with minimal waiting time. Lastly the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommended!!

I visited this Greek tavern with my friends and all of our expectations were fulfilled. The staff is very friendly, always there to help and our orders were quickly processed in a pretty low amount of time. The menu is enormous and is filled with delicious traditional Greek dishes that will certainly leave you pleasantly surprised. The interior of the tavern is also generously decorated and heavily influenced by ancient Greek architecture creating a unique atmosphere. If you visit Berlin this tavern is a must!!

In this kitchen there is magic, positive magic. Atmosphere okay, a bit too much decoration, top service. One star deducted because the portions are quite reasonable for the prices.

Update 08.2024. It hasn't become more expensive, it's just that the plates and portions are smaller. If there is a lunch menu, I expect cheaper prices and no smaller positions! You can clearly see the difference in the photos (12.90/18.90). It doesn't work that way... 02.2024 - Nicely decorated, nice service, tasted good, but for 17.90 euros the portion with a dollop of tzatziki was too small or too expensive for me. No bread on the table. Unfortunately, drink prices are borderline.

Great food with vegetables and tasty rice in addition to meat. Plus they are super friendly and have lots of neighborhood history on the walls.

We had lunch 3 times today, gyro plate and pork skewer. The meat was very tasty, but the fries were too hard. We were a bit shocked when we saw the portions, it wasn't even children's plate level. We are also aware that the lunch menu is generally a little smaller, which is okay. But the plates were really cheeky and, in my opinion, a rip-off. Even my son had to laugh at his schnitzel and he is 4. But the service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately we won't be eating there anymore because you just leave the restaurant hungry for the money you pay there. Unfortunately we had to go out to eat again afterwards.

The prices are now a disgrace. For small dishes 14-17 euros - that's out of proportion. This is the new approach of restaurateurs: reducing portions and making prices more expensive. If you can't get your head full. Because of alleged crises etc.

Very nice attentive staff. Salad is sour. Grill plate is manageable, but tastes good. I was able to change the side dish to garlic potatoes, which definitely deserve this title. Chicken with Metaxa sauce very thin and too expensive for the price. There was an ouzo on the house when paying at the end. Seating in the outside lighting is very tight.

Very tasty food. We had three starters (garlic bread special, fried zucchini, taramas) and four main courses (chicken skewers including a side salad, calamari including a side salad, small gyros, children's schnitzel). There was nothing to criticize about any of the dishes, it was simply delicious. The service was very courteous and friendly. Due to Mother's Day there was a long-style red rose for every woman 🤩. That was just beautiful.

Super delicious food in a very authentic restaurant. The gyro in metaxa sauce was a 10/10! There is Greek Mythos beer on tap, which we really liked. The service was super nice and everything was served quickly. We'd love to come back.

We stopped by here for lunch because we heard it was very good. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to the table. We chose something from the lunch menu: 2x gyros for 12.50 and 2x mixed plates for 13.90. It was really small portions for the price! A person has become full but only because they don't eat much anyway! The three of us would have liked to eat something more. Well, that's probably the case at lunch 🤷‍♀️ The food tasted good and you could eat it. You can park anywhere on the street for a fee if you can get a space.

I'm sorry, I ordered a dish for €16. OK, not the biggest plate to expect, but I've never gone home hungry after visiting a restaurant. No bread, no salad. Whether VAT and more cost, Everything was different. Then I cook myself and don't go out to eat in such a location anymore. But the staff was friendly.

The place is rather a deli shop than a restaurant. They have already prepared stuff which you choose and they warm up and serve to you. The owners are Greek and very nice. It’s a cozy place if you want some calm and traditional Greek food.

After we came across this Greek restaurant by chance, we were immediately excited and in love with Taverna Hellas Wedding! I have never had such good quality before!! Here you can tell that the food is made with love and service to the guest. You are greeted very friendly and you practically feel like you are at your mother's house. So far we have had absolutely nothing to complain about. The portions are decent, the price/performance is completely fair and the service/conditions are top. Absolutely recommended!!!☀️☀️☀️

We don’t know exactly who worked on the interior of this restaurant, but we think at a minimum – the ancient Greek goddess Hestia. The attention to detail is simply amazing, especially considering that from the street this place does not seem particularly remarkable. Unlike many Greek restaurants, here you can get the luxurious Mousaka (€18.90), which, judging by its size, can feed half the restaurant. Wir sind sehr gerne hier. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Und das essen ist immer sehr lecker und ausreichend.

Ein griechisches Restaurant, dass sich bemüht, jedes Klischee Griechenlands zu erfüllen. Statuen, Akropolis, Gemälde, alles wundervoll nachgebaut, es ist drollig und man kann sich amüsieren. Das Essen ist wirklich gelungen und reichhaltig, es dürfte mehr gewürzt sein. Der Service ist perfekt! Ich vermisste das typische Abschlussgetränk aufs Haus, das ich bei jedem Griechen bisher bekam.

Essen war ok. Leider sehr kleine Portion, wenig Gyros und ein Spieß vom wenigen Zaziki abgesehen. Laden wirkt sehr veraltet.
