I have never eaten a saltier gyros, I tried drinking Leistungswasser, but it didn't help much.

No other restaurant has this flair. Sick Joore kumme mir us kölle hehin. Delicious food. Great service. And the old pictures on the walls can't be paid for with money. Efcharisto. Na eiste panda kala. Poli Eijea na echete panda. Ta leme stin Ellada File mou.

Very small portions for a high price. The portions are ridiculous. Today was my first time there, and also my last. I paid €65 for three people and was hungry again afterward. Here in Düsseldorf, you can't finish the portions; there's so much on your plate.

For years, I've spent an evening here every time I visit Hamburg. It's authentic and very good. Anyone expecting glamour is wrong here; other values ​​are more important than others!

The gyro was delicious and crispy, and the tzatziki was also tasty. What still warrants two stars, however, was the incredibly small portion. At Greek restaurants, they often serve way too much – but even by that measure, this wasn't a normal portion, but rather an appetizer at most. And then, as a side dish, some dry flatbread and sour, slightly fermented-tasting coleslaw. Everything is getting more expensive, and the location is certainly difficult, but I think it's better to have a decent portion with good sides for a few euros more than to leave disappointed and unsure guests. I won't be going back.

Small taverna with a nice boss who serves himself. The facility is mentioned in the description as “factual”, so it fits. The portions are not generous, but that is probably because the filling side dishes most people are used to, such as fries or rice, are not included. The taste is really good. We noticed the quaint restaurant as we walked past during the night watchman tour. When we asked for recommended restaurants, our city guide recommended it shortly afterwards. Our visit more than fulfilled expectations. The food is excellent and high quality. The tzatziki tastes homemade and intense and the small dining room exudes authentic Greek charm. If you didn't know better, you might think you were sitting in the middle of a long-established restaurant in Greece. The older owner told us with a smile that the food was still served in the classic Greek style without fries and told us that the restaurant had existed at the location for over 50 years. Paintings from 1977 hang on the wall. The restaurant is older. We are absolutely in love and will definitely be back!

Don’t come in here without humor this is an old place still here and it is what it is , small, with typical local flair l a bit rundown but heartfelt Food is good, beer is cold and the crowd is interesting, a wild mix of people from all ways of life, filmmakers businessmen s_x workers and tourists a great reminder of the good old days where empathy was high at stake

A small Greek restaurant in the middle of Davidstrasse. There are few places available, but the two owners, a slightly older man and a slightly older woman, do everything themselves. Serving, preparing and serving food. The boss is really extremely nice. There was always a little chat. I can definitely say the gyros are one of the best gyros I have ever eaten in my life. Absolutely spicy, juicy, great in taste and simply delicious. I can really recommend it.

The food was very tasty - not as overloaded as many other Greeks, everything was to the point. The boss himself was the waitress and had everything you would expect from an older Greek - wit, charm, hospitality...you just feel at home. In my opinion, the ambience is really nice, or what I imagine a Greek place to be like - not pompous but simple, original and cozy. When I'm back in Hamburg, I'll definitely come back :-)

The shop is very small and half snack bar/half restaurant. Everything is a bit ragged, but sparkling clean. If you like chic, you probably won't be happy here - I was. ;-) The food is very tasty, but the portions are manageable for the price. Ich hatte mich aufgrund er Tatsache, dass es sich hier um ein alteingesessenes Restaurant handelt, darauf verlassen, hier sehr gutes Essen für mich und meinen Gast zu bekommen. Leider wurde zumindest ich absolut enttäuscht. Ich bin 55 Jahre alt und war in meinem bisherigen Leben schon in vielen griechischen Restaurants, da ich das Essen sehr sehr gerne mag, aber ich bin noch nie so dermaßen enttäuscht worden. Ich hatte mir nämlich das Gyros in Metaxa Sauce mit Käse überbacken bestellt. Als ich dann sah, dass der Koch eine Kokotte aus dem Kühlschrank nahm, Frischhaltefolie entfernte und das Gefäß in eine Mikrowelle stellte, wurde ich bereits skeptisch. Nachdem die Mikrowelle klingelte, entnahm er das Gefäß, legte Käse oben hinauf und stellte es in den Salamander zum Überbacken. Ich bekam also Gyrosfleisch vom Vortag, welches nun in der Mikrowelle im eigenen Saft und einer Metaxa?? Sauce erhitzt wurde. Es schmeckte wie labberiges gekochtes Fleisch, die vermeintliche Sauce war dünnflüssig und fast geschmacksneutral. Das knusprige, was man vom guten Gyros kennt, war vollkommen auf der Strecke geblieben. Ich habe noch nie so bescheiden gegessen wie dort! Sechs, setzen. ich freue mich jedoch für alle Gäste, die dort bisher gut gegessen haben, ich jedoch werde es nie wieder ausprobieren.

If you're looking for that, you've come to the right place! The Gyros Special is a clear recommendation! Delicious. Appetizer platter also delicious, although not exactly cheap. Was recommended to us by the night watchman tour on our tour as the best Greek in St Pauli. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as fantastic as it was advertised to us. Gyros were out, the bifteki was dry, the salad wasn't great either, and I was missing rice or fries. The tzatziki wasn't like I know it from the Greeks either, with little cucumber, a lot of dill and otherwise rather bland. I also found the portions to be rather small. We sat outside so I can't say much about the ambience, it's ok I mean. The friendliness was ok and you also got an ouzo after your meal, as I usually get from Greeks. And as is often the case in Hamburg, you can only pay in cash.

Simply fantastic, the service is so nice and so authentic and really honest and such service. Normally I don't write reviews but I have to dream about the older, nice gentleman who does the service. I've never experienced anything so nice, and the gyros are so juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, wow. Unfortunately, I had special requests because I don't like salad and certain vegetables, and they were accommodated without any problems. Really a must in St.Pauli.
