We received a warm welcome and were seated immediately. Ordering was quick and the service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is also lovely and modern. We were also served delicious ouzo as an aperitif and after dessert. I'd gladly come back!

We don't understand the good reviews at all. The food is good, but otherwise, you're being exploited in terms of value for money. We were here because our regular Greek friend was on vacation. There's no comparison.

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:05 p.m. Our order was taken immediately, but our food didn't arrive until 9:35 p.m. The waiters were busy chatting with the customers. If you look well-off and they think you'll tip well, they won't leave your side. However, if you're modestly dressed like us and are also from abroad, you'll have to wait a long time. We still tipped because the food was delicious. If you're hungry, I recommend calling ahead and ordering food on the way, as it's impossible to get it served immediately. I don't plan on visiting again.

The selection of dishes is limited, but everything is top-quality. Especially authentic dishes, such as "Greek potatoes" (lemon potatoes). Hardly any Greek restaurant has them on their menu. The grilled beef liver was also world-class, and the gyro was perfect. Only the rice didn't quite match the flavor of the Greek cuisine. The service is very friendly, attentive, and quick. Everything is absolutely reasonable in terms of price. You should reserve a table, as it gets very busy.

Very good, traditional food in a modern setting. Delicious, especially the Kokinisto Stifado, but also the lamb chops, lamb fillet, and calamari rings. Also great: the sesame-battered feta cheese with honey and walnuts. Very friendly staff, fast service. The decor is modern and perfectly suited to a Greek restaurant. We felt very comfortable. The prices are a little higher than at other Greek restaurants, but reflect the products and quality. The value for money is absolutely reasonable. We'll be back! Awesome Greek restaurant! The service is top-notch, very attentive but not intrusive. The food is excellent! The appetizer was a dream, very generous but not too much. The gyro meat is super tasty. Crispy yet tender, perfectly seasoned. We'll definitely be back soon.

This is a delicious Greek restaurant. You can decide on your menu while chatting with the cheerful staff in a calm interior. Both the tomato soup and meat dishes were delicious. The only thing you need to get used to is eating ouzo after a meal.

The entire staff gives their all at all times; they're very present, friendly, and have a relaxed, informal atmosphere. No long waits. Meze very tasty, great combination! 5* Bacon-wrapped dates 4.5* Table bread 4* Salad for the main course 4*/ Coleslaw too sour 2.5*, dressing 3* Alexandro's plate - meat 4*, fries 5*, tzatziki unfortunately 2* (much too sour) Dessert: Loukoumades, with ice cream and honey 4.5* (served with a fork, ask for a teaspoon, otherwise you won't be able to get the delicious melted ice cream and honey off the plate) Mocha 5* The prices were OK, and the portions were sufficient and well-sized. We would have expected a little more love and passion from the kitchen with the coleslaw and tzatziki.

The food is delicious, but friendliness is different. Both the older gentleman and the young waitress gave the feeling that we were more of a nuisance and doing work instead of feeling welcome. It's a shame because everything else would be very good otherwise.

The restaurant is located in the middle of a residential area. I always drive past here but I was a guest here for the first time yesterday. We made reservations by phone and had the option to sit inside and outside. The waitress quickly brought us the menu. I ordered my gyros without onions and without me saying so, my salad also came without onions. I found this very attentive, and a lot of emphasis was placed on ensuring that every guest had a good time. Price-performance ratio is good, a good portion is quite large and fills you up. But not too full. Card payment is possible :) I'd love to come back

Service seemed a bit stressful. Unfortunately, the roasted potatoes weren't roasted...they may have had a quick look in the oven or microwave. The taste of the dishes was okay... knuckle, lamb fillet and metaxa pan with pork fillet.

Food was great, we ate outside, I found it very cramped, tables and chairs were too close together, you could always feel the chair from the other table behind you, which wasn't so nice.

Positive Table reservation is easy via the homepage. The food is good and the meat is of good quality. The portion size is balanced, not too small but not overloaded either. Negative An older gentleman greeted us at the entrance, presumably the owner of the restaurant, and assigned us the table. When we politely asked how long we would probably have to wait for the food since we wanted to go to an event straight after, the gentleman responded unfriendly. That's a shame because I didn't want to put any pressure on it, I just wanted to know if everything would fit in time. I ordered a plate of gyros with minced steak and fries with mayonnaise. The mayonnaise was not taken into account. After the meal the plates were cleared but nothing was offered for dessert or asked about the bill. The bill was only brought when asked. Conclusion The food was good but not great with gyros with minced steak. Service is poor, especially when it is actually the owner. Maybe it was just the Nordic cool way. Nevertheless, guests should be treated more kindly.

Went there spontaneously recently, the first impression was good. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We waited three quarters of an hour for our food. At least it arrived hot. The gyros had a rather untypical seasoning and did not meet expectations of Greek food. Regarding the Bifteki...what can I say, that didn't have much to do with it. Filled with tomatoes, pepperoni and feta, the filling and overall the meat were rather dry. Fries as a side dish were kind of sticky and had little taste. Tzatziki was on the menu and dill quark was served. The atmosphere was pleasant and most of the employees were friendly. What a pity…

We used to love going there, now the staff is constantly changing, correspondingly different quality of food on different days, no free ouzo, hardly anyone can pour beer anymore... no longer recommended at the moment!!! The quick answer is great, but unfortunately it doesn't correspond to our experiences!!! Please also compare with other portals (Tripadvisor etc), other guests rate them the same way (Ouzo only on request and then on the invoice...) 3 years ago the restaurant was actually in a different class! YES, we have rated the Alexandros in Niendorf!

I just had my food delivered. Always been very satisfied so far. Unfortunately I have to write a bad review today. Unfortunately, the tzatziki cup was only half full and some of the gyros were not cooked properly. Unfortunately, I now find the delivery fee too high. I think a gyro plate for €16.90 + €2.90 delivery fee is too much.

A nice, cozy restaurant. You are served by very friendly people here and the food was really good too! The two of us shared a starter, followed by a main course. We also shared dessert and were more than full.

Very nice restaurant... Pleasant size, nice service and the food is good too. I just think it's a shame that the prices for out-of-home sales, i.e. delivery, were also increased, even though that wasn't necessary and a tax rate of only 7% can still be applied for this. Therefore a star deduction and unfortunately also a few fewer orders from me.

We haven't been to this restaurant in over a year because the boss was rude and rude. And our favorite side dish was taken off the menu ;-) We were now invited with a group of 20 people and were surprised at how nice the staff were. Exchanged? Or new owners? We didn't ask... Because of the large group it was too cramped. Especially for the other guests. Food was delicious. Service okay... But it was really full. We're testing the restaurant again and if the boss from 2022 is still there, we'll unfortunately stay away again. But the food can be recommended :-)

Ein wunderschönes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Lokal mit wunderbar leckeren Speisen. Ouzo gab es zur Begrüßung und Verabschiedung aufs Haus und dazu noch ein nettes Pläuschchen. Wenn wir wieder nach Hamburg kommen, werden wir bestimmt nochmal dort essen und genießen.

Waren nur 2 Tage in Schnelsen und uns wurde der Grieche empfohlen. Wir kamen rein, haben sofort einen Platz bekommen und einen Ouzo als Begrüssung. Der Service war gut und schnell hatten wir die Bestellungen aufgegeben. Der Saganaki war ein Traum und die Leber wohl die beste die wir je gegessen hatten (klare Empfehlung). Durch die grossen Portionen war leider kein Platz mehr für eine Nachspeise :( Nächstes Mal kommen wir definitiv wieder!

Unser Lieblingsgrieche in Hamburg. Sehr authentisch, super freundlich und mit Gerichten, die nicht jeder Grieche bietet. Z.B. Feta im Sesammantel mit Honig und Walnüssen

Super lecker, schneller Service, trotz vollem Haus. Und sehr aufmerksames Personal. Eine absolute Empfehlung, und durch seitlich eingefasste und überdachte Terasse, kann man auch bei herbstlichen Temperaturen noch gut draußen sitzen.

Eine sehr gut und gepflegte Lokalität, egal was man aus der Speisekarte bestellt es schmeckt einfach nur gut. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Mann hat immer eines nettes Wort Für den Gast mann fühlt sich einfach nur Wohl und kann Abschalten. Ebenso kann man die Lokalität auch für Feierlichkeiten empfehlen. Wir haben im August die Hochzeit für unsere Tochter dort Ausgerichtet und es war Einfach alles Super wie es Abgesprochen wurde. Dafür noch einmal auf diesem Wege ein großes Dankeschön.

Wir mussten fast 1 1/2 Stunden auf das Essen warten. Das Essen war gut, auch wenn die als "griechische Kartoffeln mit Kräutern" sich als normale gekochte Kartoffeln, in Spalten geschnitten, herausstellten. Es fehlte jede "Ansprache" seitens des Gastgebers, es gab kein Brot, geschweige denn einen Uzo (den wir auf Nachfrage dann bekamen, aber er war später auf der Rechnung). Es ist ein x-beliebiges Restaurant geworden, kein "Grieche", Anspruch und wirklichkeit klaffen auseinander.

Der typische Grieche um die Ecke. Wir gehen hier immer wieder gerne hin. Freundlicher Service, einige Außenplätze und typische griechische Gerichte zu fairen Preisen auf der Karte. Hier macht man nichts verkehrt.

Über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet (vor Ort). Gyros war labbrig. Griechische Bratkartoffeln waren gekochte Kartoffelspalten in Soße. Portion deutlich kleiner, Preise gleich. Bin echt enttäuscht.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, im Restaurant Alexandros an einer Firmenveranstaltung teilzunehmen, und es war ein absolut perfekter Abend! Die Atmosphäre war wunderschön und einladend, was sofort für gute Stimmung sorgte. Das Essen war einfach köstlich - jedes Gericht war ein Geschmackserlebnis! Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, dass das Personal sich sehr um uns gekümmert hat und alle unsere Wünsche erfüllte. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Mit meinen Kollegen konnte ich einen unvergesslichen Abend verbringen und werde diesen besonderen Anlass im Restaurant Alexandros immer in guter Erinnerung behalten. Definitiv eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine großartige kulinarische Erfahrung in einer einladenden Atmosphäre suchen!

Schöner kleiner Laden! Personal ist immer freundlich und kompetent. Das einzige was lästig ist, du musst (solltest) reservieren. Der Laden läuft und das spricht ja schon dafür, dass er nicht schlecht ist 😉

Essen war super lecker, Einrichtung und Ambiente sehr angenehm, WC sauber und gepflegt. Personal war sehr freundlich und hat sich zwischendurch mal erkundigt ob noch etwas benötigt wird. Parken vor dem Restaurant kann abends etwas schwierig werden aber dafür kann das Restaurant selbst natürlich nichts. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert!

Kleines gemütliches Restaurant im Herzen Niendorfs .Waren schon unzählige Male dort und wurden nie enttäuscht .Das Essen ist super lecker und die Bedienung äußerst nett und aufmerksam …jedes Mal ein bisschen wie Urlaub !!!
