Well, actually I shouldn't announce this publicly at all, since the places are very limited and already in demand... Absolute top class! Simply great! But I won't reveal any more.

Very tasty food, extremely nice service. Really highly recommended.

I was organizing a work holiday dinner for 20 people. I had gone to the restaurant previously before and always like the food, so I thought it would be a good choice. All of my coworkers loved the restaurant and the food. We were given a small menu to choose from, which included an appetizer buffet and a main dish. The appetizer buffet was varied and amazing. The main dishes were chicken skewers, a fish plate, a mixed meat plate, baked eggplant, and lamb. Everything tasted delicious. The service was also really great. They were very attentive to our table, explained what everything was, and were overall very cheerful and happy. We were also served a couple of rounds of ouzo on the house. Everyone stated that they loved it and wanted to come back again on their own. Thank you again for hosting us!

Wonderful atmosphere - almost family-like. We always feel very comfortable and cared for. Food very good and attractively served.

It's somehow unforgivable that we've been living in Vaihingen for six years and haven't found this Greek pearl. Ashes on my head! Super cute little restaurant, absolutely loving and attentive service and really delicious Greek food. There's nothing more to add except that I still don't understand how I didn't find Elijah before. Absolutely recommended. P.S.: The mixed starter platter was brilliant, but I forgot to take a photo of it beforehand. The beetroot with goat cheese and honey was a poem!

super delicious restaurant!! Very nice people there!! The only small suggestion for improvement: Extend the automatic light in the toilet, install a changing table, provide paper towels Gladly again at any time!!

I recently bought a pyta gyros to take away and it was delicious in itself. Everything was good except that the meat was very tough in some places and it was very tiring to eat. Ambiance is nice and service so mediocre.

A small but very nice restaurant! We had such a relaxing and fun evening! The waiters were in such a good mood and were very accommodating and extremely friendly - we have rarely been served like this. The service was excellent, the food was great and very fresh (pasta is homemade!). We will definitely come here again. Thanks to the whole TAVERNA team!

5 stars are still not enough. Service excellent, food cannot be described in words. No matter what was eaten, everything tasted GREAT🤩🤩🤩 Very comfortably furnished and there is also a nice outdoor area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

They are great people at Elia. EM matches were on so super busy. But as alway food was good but not as good as usual. So maybe skip while the EMs are in town.

The place was old, not repaired at all, at first I said okay, but the order didn't come as I thought, the calamari had plastic trash and greasy meat in it, still not cooked well. What worried me The best thing was the menu where there were no prices and I believe they were making the bills based on their ideas and judging people based on how rich or poor they looked. He only told us the price verbally. All of this cost €70, something I never thought would happen again

Lunch: Gyros with fries, tzatziki and a small side salad for €13. It sounds more expensive at first, but here as everywhere else the purchase prices have risen and 19% instead of 7% VAT is due again. There's definitely nothing to complain about in terms of taste. Gyros and tzatziki were really good.

Amazing place for greek food in stuttgart. Their food tastes really authentic, the staff are nice and friendly and the atmosphere is excellent and perfect for a nice dinner experience. We were two and between us had the falafel platter to start with and the Elia meat platter from the main course and a jug of red house wine for the table. We loved the taste, quality and portion size of everything. Will definitely go back.

This is some of the most authentic Greek you’ll find in the area. The atmosphere is incredibly comfortable and homey, and not overly done. They created the most authentic greek experience in the area. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Nothing over the top, just quality ingredients cooked well. Everyone in our group agreed - it was the most relaxing dining experience in recent memory. This place was recommended to me by a Greek friend as the most Greek-like place around, and they were 100% correct. Amazing. Will go back.

A really exceptionally good Greek restaurant with excellent food and especially garlic fries are recommended. Furthermore, the restaurant's ambience makes it very inviting and offers a menu that is not overly large, but offers something for every eater. The only negative thing that can be added is that one dessert was baked in the same oven as the fish, which unfortunately was tasty afterwards 😞. But otherwise the restaurant is really excellent and we will definitely come back!

Food is great and the staff are super friendly. It might take a while for the meals to prepare but since the restaurant is normally full, it’s kinda understandable. The place looks cozy and the atmosphere is great. Make sure to reserve a table before you go

My outsourced living room. You come home to friends and just feel good. Plus super tasty food. For example, I love the beetroot starter with honey, sheep's cheese and walnuts.

Everyone was disappointed, there wasn't much going on, we waited over an hour for the food, very expensive and very little on the plate. Service was bad. Plates were cleared away without asking, and we didn't even ask if everything was OK, etc. ... It was the first and last time there...

Gutes Griechisches essen - kann man nix sagen - und preis Leistung ist auch Top

Kleines Restaurant mit super netten Personal. Das Essen schmeckt sehr sehr gut. Wir hatten zum einen Fisch Dorade und Gyros Teller Metaxasouce. Auch Vorspeisen orderten wir und lecker Getränke. Die Dorade wurde sogar nach dem servieren bei uns am Tisch direkt filetiert. Einfach super. Danke auch für den Ouzo zur Überbrückung der Wartezeit ... denn leider hatten wir nicht reserviert da wir dachen Montags ist es sicher nicht voll , weit gefehlt , das kleine Restaurant scheint beliebt und ist sehr gut besucht. Danke und weiter so.

Mal was ganz anderes, kleines Restaurant mit sehr gutem u bemühten Personal. Es ist anscheinend immer voll am Abend. Wir mussten etwas warten da nicht vorbestellt. Die Wartezeit am Eingang wurde mit einem Ouzo aufs Haus belohnt. Das Essen war sehr gut u auch viel. Jeder Vor u Hauptspeisse. Fisch Dorade super zubereitet u beim Servieren am Tisch filetiert , super. Gyros mit Metaxasoße war auch sehr gut ... nur aufgrund der üppigen Vorspeise Feta nicht zu schaffen. Es gab noch weitere Ouzo. Es war super u TOP Personal. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren das erste mal hier und würden wir aus der Gegend kommen, wäre ich definitiv Stammgast. Ein Traum an Service, das Essen war so lecker und dazu große Portionen. Ich hatte mir was außerhalb der Karte gewünscht und es war kein Problem. War super!

Wir hielten am 1.12. unsere Weihnachtsfeier in dem Lokal Taverna Elia ab. Das Essen war ausgesprochen gut, die Bedienungen waren aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Die Hauptspeise war gut, die Vorspeise herausragend. Besonders die Auberginen/Zucchini "Chips". Nächstes Mal esse ich nur Vorspeisen 😄 Das Brot hätte vielleicht ein bisschen frischer sein können und mir war es etwas zu laut. War halt sehr voll (besser reservieren am Wochenende). Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam, trotz vollem Laden. Ich würde einen Besuch auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

I love the "family feel" of the place. It has just the right size and atmosphere to really enjoy Greek food. Food and service are great. If there's a suggestion I could make: add another interesting main dish for vegetarians. We will be back!

La experiencia fue distinta a la esperada. Tardaban en traer las bebidas. Nos pusó los platos a primera hora pero la comida empezó a llegar casi 2 horas después de haber pedido. El plato que pedí era un mix de pescado para 2 personas, el pescado estaba demasiado hecho y estaba duro, hay que decir que en la foto falta un mini cuenco de arroz y un cuenco de patatas. Decepcionado con la comida y el servicio.

Essen sehr lecker, leider äußerst lange Wartezeit. Gäste die nach uns gekommen sind, bekamen das Essen vor uns.

Wie immer sehr netter Service. Draußen sitzen ist schön.

Waren gestern Abend dort zu 6 essen. Ich muss ehrlich sagen dass das Essen nicht nur trocken und langweilig war, sondern auch absolut überteuert. Kann es leider nicht empfehlen hier essen zu gehen. Bedienung und Service war gut. Küche ist eine Katastrophe. Schade.

- Super Service - Also der Service ist wirklich erstklassig. Die Vorspeise war mega lecker, auch das Putenfleisch. Gyros ein wenig zu trocken. Insgesamt aber einer der besseren Griechen in der Region. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden.

Modern und auf eher junge Menschen ausgerichtet. Das Essen ist guter Durchschnitt. Die Preise relativ hoch. Kann man mal machen...muss aber nicht. Die Beilagen kamen ca. 5 Minuten nach der Hauptspeise, bis dahin war diese nur noch lauwarm. Aber immerhin war an einem Montag geöffnet.

Bin zum Geburtstag meines Bruders dort gewesen. Entspannte Atmosphäre und auch für die große Gruppe eine coole Outdoor Location. Die GROSSEN VORSPEISENPLATTEN sind mein Favorit. Bin seither regelmäßiger Gast und top zufrieden!

Es ist ein kleines familiäres Restaurant! Wir gehen sehr gerne dort essen. Das Essen ist klasse und man fühlt sich einfach immer sehr wohl und willkommen. Die Gastgeber sind zuvorkommend und immer freundlich. Egal ob mit Freunden, der Familie oder als Paar - immer eine gute Wahl! Bitte macht weiter so!

Spontan wollten wir hier Abends essen und haben trotz vollem Haus einen Platz bekommen. Der Chef hat uns herzlich empfangen und wir haben herzlich gelacht!! Das Essen war gut und viel und auch der Ouzo :-)

Wir wohnen in der Nähe und gehen deshalb gerne- auch wegen des Außenbereiches- hin. Meistens haben die "Jungs" gute Laune und strahlen das auch aus. Man kann mal einen Scherz machen und fühlt sich "wie bei Freunden". Das Essen ist wirklich gut, die Portionen reichlich und mit dem einen oder anderen Becherchen Ouzo- oft großzügig ausgeschenkt- rutscht es nochmal so gut. Gibt es doch mal etwas zu beanstanden, (was in jeder Küche mal sein kann) dann wird sofort Abhilfe geschaffen. Einmal war mir das Essen etwas zu kalt und ich bekam in Kürze eine völlig neue Portion. Nicht etwas kurz unter die Mikrowelle, was ich zuhause gemacht hätte. ;-) Also bitte weiter so! Wir kommen morgen wieder!

Erst einmal haben wir eine Viertel Stunde auf einen Tisch gewartet. Gut, es war voll und sie haben sich bemüht, dass wir noch einen Platz erhalten. Die Bestellungen von Getränken und Essen lief dann ziemlich chaotisch ab. Nach ner knappen Stunde kamen dann mal die Vorspeisen aber nicht vollständig, wir mussten zwei Mal nach dem Rest fragen der noch fehlte. Das Pita Brot war mit Öl durchtränkt und hat alt und ranzig geschmeckt. Ohne Tzaziki war es ungenießbar. Die anderen Vorspeisen waren gut. Die Hauptgänge kamen dann endlich mal nach zwei Stunden. Wenn man keine Vorspeise hatte, musste man bis dahin hungern. Die Hauptgänge waren geschmacklich ganz gut, viel Fleisch auf dem Teller. Ouzo gab es mehrere Runden gratis dazu. Die drei Punkte erhält das Restaurant nur, da die Kellner sehr freundlich waren. Aber wer schnell mal was essen will ist hier falsch. Ich bin mit schlechter Laune raus gegangen weil ich eigentlich zwei Stunden früher hätte zuhause sein wollen. Insgesamt dauerte die Prozedur 4 Stunden bis wir endlich bezahlen und gehen konnten. Einfach zu lang!

Wir waren gestern Abend mit 11 Personen bei Elia. Wir haben ganz hervorragend gegessen und saßen bis spät im schönen Garten des Lokals. Der Service war sehr gut, gewisse Wartezeiten aufgrund der aktuellen Umstände und der Tatsache, dass das Restaurant komplett ausgebucht war, konnten wir gut akzeptieren. Das gesamte Team ist sehr zuvorkommend und die Stimmung gut.

Super service, gutes essen. Kellner (besonders Genna mit der immer vollen ouzo Flasche) sind sehr freundlich.

my husband and I have tried several Greek restaurants in the Stuttgart area. This has been the only restaurant that we absolutely love! The appetizers are delicious as well as their Gyros. I absolutely recommend the Mataxa Gyro. The service has been amazing both times we have visited. Our waiter, Gennadios is super friendly and very accommodating. His service and the food makes us want to come here every week!

unsere griechischen Gerichte waren sehr lecker, mussten 10 Minuten am Freitag Abend warten, da wir keine Reservierung hatten und die Anzahl an Tischen überschaubar sind. Es geht eng zu, aber wir sind wegen des leckeren Essen da, nicht wegen der Ambiente. Hier kann das Restaurant noch aufholen. Preise sind ok.

Wir waren mit mehreren Personen abends dort, hatten reserviert. Das war auch nötig, denn es wurde sehr voll und es war später kein Platz mehr frei. Das Essen war schmackhaft, der Service gut. Mit Ouzo wurde nicht gegeizt. Ich würde wiederkommen.

Das Restaurant hat einen hübschen schattigen Garten und liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Universitätscampus. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte sind eher im oberen Bereich dessen, was für griechische Restaurants üblich ist. Die Qualität der Speisen war aber sehr gut (ich habe selten ein so zartes Souvlaki bekommen). Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich.

Wir waren im Zuge eine Geschäftsreise in der Taverna essen. Inmitten des Universitätsgeländes gelegen bietet dieses Restaurant ein tolles Ambiente...
