India House in Stuttgart

Visited with my wife and son for dinner. Atmosphere is too good and easy to reach too. Service was excellent. Coming to food, it was very average. We ordered paneer tikka, mix veg, aloo paratha and chole bhature. Aloo paratha and bhature was okay but chole and mix veg tasted very bland and below average. Don’t want to comment on Paneer Tikka. Half cooked and tasted horrible. Better to skip until improves taste wise.

Nice little restaurant with a very friendly waiter. During the week, things tend to be quiet in the early evening. The starters were very appetizing, but the main courses could have used a little more spice. We weren't unhappy, but we had hoped for more.

Served delicious biryani when we went to this place as part of our trip for lunch. Loved the food, decent place and surrounded by some Indian stores.

Ate in the restaurant. Ambience seemed a bit dated and outdated. The food was really good, requests were taken into account and recommendations were given. Service was great too! Had children with us, service was totally professional and was able to deal with the children well! Come again!

We have ordered here a few times and were there once, but we were not satisfied with our last order on Monday: The Mango Lassis are always sent in a bottle. One bottle had far less in it than the other, which wouldn't be that bad on its own, but both somehow tasted pretty stretched and not as tasty as usual. As if it had been stretched with sparkling water (!!). You could feel the sizzling of the carbon dioxide on your tongue, which was quite unpleasant and didn't go well with the lassi at all. Really steep for €5 a bottle. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as tasty as usual, there was a lack of salt and seasoning. Unfortunately it's really disappointing for the money, we probably won't order again and would rather come in person, where we can complain about something like that if necessary.

The chicken is always raw whenever I order - with the hope that it will be cooked well. It stinks from inside and has now marination whatsoever. The samosa chutneys are always delivered in plastic and they smell and taste like chemicals or plastic and have to be thrown each time. Samosa or vegetarian options are the only edible ones.

Worst experience ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ordered food at 07:49 PM & showed that it would deliver at 08:29 PM. Waited for almost an hour till 09:30 PM and still didnt received the food. Called the restaurant multiple times but they dont care about it. They just say, its out for delivery. The app shows as delivered but I have not received the food yet, its already past 10:00 PM. This is ridiculous and utterly disgusting. If I had option for 0 star, would have selected that one. Never order from here, utter waste of money and time.

Food very very good, So far I haven't found better Indian food. However, the India House is a bit hidden and dark.

Best Indian restaurant in Stuttgart. I visit this place every time I am in Stuttgart. Bhindi masala, aloo paratha and veg biriyani are my favorite. You can order the level of spice you would like to have. Also the music is soothing and perfect. Friendly staff and nice service. Highly recommended.

This is my local , go to place for Indian food when I have a craving. The wait staff is polite, and the food is prepared well and is consistently good. Try the lamb vindaloo, garlic naan, samosas, and dal soup, those are highlights of the menu. I love how they keep the plates warm over a small flame , so your food is never cold. This place is definitely worth a visit, I will keep returning.

I ordered through Wolt and had my food on the table within about 10-15 minutes, and it's always very, very tasty! We recommend!

All dishes were good and deliciously prepared. Good Bollywood instrumental music in the background, with some home style food. would recommend if you are in Vaihingen and looking for some good Indian Cuisine.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a good dining experience. Chicken pakora in starter is a must try, also cheese and garlic naan was really worth it.

We discovered this restaurant by chance last night. Very nice staff welcomed us. The food didn't take long to arrive and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere could be made a little more comfortable. Otherwise we have nothing to complain about. Will definitely come back on the next visit.

I can vouch for the food here, it was good, and was fine in terms of quantity as well. I recommend dal makhani with rice and nan, it was tasty. Service is great and atmosphere is comfortable as well.

We have now been to a total of 3 different Indian restaurants and now I would like to write a review for this one. Service was good, food came quickly, but the portions were very small and unfortunately expensive. It should also be noted that the restaurant is in the basement, for those who find it relevant.

Lacks taste, we had chicken biriyani. The butter naan could be pulled like rubber and then the taste was lacking. Service was ok, it was on time.

I really hoped to enjoy a nice dinner at India House , expecting some tasty Indian dishes. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and I feel the need to share what happened. First off, the biggest issue was the food. I ordered the Lamb Tika Masala, and It tasted like they used meat that wasn't fresh anymore. We thought maybe it was just us, so we tried a few more bites to be sure. But nope, it definitely wasn't what good food tastes like. When we politely mentioned this to the owner, hoping for maybe an apology or some understanding, the reaction was pretty surprising. Instead of taking our feedback on board, she made it seem like it was our fault for not saying something after the first bite. This response was really disappointing. Good places usually want to know if something's wrong so they can fix it, right? This whole experience was a bummer. Not only was the food a letdown, but the way the owner handled our complaint made us feel unwelcome and unheard. I believe in giving places a chance and that everyone can have a bad day, but this was more about how they deal with problems. So, I'd say, think twice before going to India House. There are lots of other places where the food is good and the people running the show care about making sure you're happy with your meal. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to India House and I wouldn't suggest it to my friends either.

This is likely the best Indian Restaurant in the bigger region of Stuttgart. The food was delicious and very welcoming people. I wish they would be closer to the City Stuttgart.

It was ok, the vegetarian pakoras weren't crispy and the vegetables inside were bland and watery, maybe frozen food (?), the main course was also relatively unseasoned, at least mine, my partner's tasted ok, only the naan was very good, chili was really good sharp. Service is great, food was on the table quickly despite being busy, prices were ok.

We craved for Indian food in another Nation and this was our one stop solution for all our hunger cravings the Prawns, mutton and chicken are soo finger licking delicious and just superb. Pro tip try the Mango lassi at any cost. :-)

Das Restaurant befindet sich im Untergeschoss. Finde ich persönlich nicht so ideal, keine Barrierefreiheit. Das Essen war gut. Ich hatte Chicken Tikka Masala. Die Portion war nicht sehr groß. Normalerweise schaffe ich es nicht alles aufzuessen und mein Mann kommt in den Genuss. Hier war das gar kein Problem. Ziemlich teuer war es obendrein, knapp 18 Euro hab ich für Chicken Tikka Masala noch niemals bezahlt. Die Bedienung, vielleicht war es auch die Chefin, machte immer ein ziemlich unfreundliches Gesicht. Im Umgang mit den Gästen ist noch viel Raum für Verbesserung. Alles in allem kein Wunder, dass fast nichts los war. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nicht wiederkommen.

Das essen ist top und sehr lecker kann ich nur weiter empfehlen, dass Restaurant ist sehr angenehm und das team sehr nett

Essen naja, Vorspeisenplatte bestand nur aus frittiertem Gemüse und Kartoffeln mit Dips die sehr nach Industrie geschmeckt haben. Der Spinat war fade und nicht würzig wie ich ihn sonst kenne. In allem war es essbar aber überhaupt nichts besonderes und fade. Wir wurden zwar zügig bedient aber ein Lächeln gab es nicht und der Tisch wurde komplett abgeräumt obwohl mein Partner noch am essen war

Gutes indisches Essen. Nichts außergewöhnliches aber für den Preis angemessen und die Portionen sind nicht zu klein. Das Personal war sehr nett und die Atmosphäre erschien mir beim abholen meines Essens auch sehr angenehm.

Az étterem Stuttgart Vaihingenben található, kellemes hangulatú beltér, kedves kiszolgálás. Az étel közepes minőségű, nem az eredeti indiai konyha köszön vissza. Nem volt rossz, de ez a minőség, ízélmény inkább egy kifőzdére jellemző.

A big sign outside, but still well hidden, this pearl of Indian food and service is tucked away in a cellar, no unnecessary frills, disturbing music, or blinding decorations. A simple, very good menu, fast, friendly and efficient service. Many of the customers eating there during my visit were Indian or from that area. This restaurant is on my guaranteed to visit list whenever I am in town.

War sehr leer im Restaurant. Das Essen war deliziös und authentisch. Butter Chicken und Garlic Cheese Naan wurde bestellt. Das Essen kam schnell und wurde passend zum Vibe serviert auf einem Gestell über Kerzen. So blieb das Essen die ganze Zeit angenehm warm. Auch der Preis war sehr akzeptabel.
